Mission Details:

The cold fall evening left Sukiba not wishing for much, only that she should have taken one of those blankets from the previous town’s hotel room that she was staying at. Small, shivering steps left her feeling like she needed some place to rest. Yet she had been tasked with something rather important, something that she couldn’t just let go even just this once. She had been tasked with delivering items across the country a few towns over. It was mainly just some simple materials, a few ingots of Gold and Silver lining her pockets. She was half tempted to take the stolen goods, run off to sell them for a massive amount of Ryo. But she needed trust, and there were already more Missing Ninja acting as bandits and bloody sports then there had any right to be. The small shifting of the weights involving the ingots could be felt with each running step that she took to make it across the entire country. Her speed being amplified due to chakra coursing through her legs and feet. Allowing her to make a straight line towards the settlement that she was supposed to deliver this too. It was meant to go to a wealthy benefactor of the Merchants. Considered to be a small “gift” in return for doing them a favor a few years back. Yet she didn’t know just what to believe about the merchant, he didn’t seem like one of those snake oil salesmen back near Kirigakure. Showing off their supposed “Healing” goods before taking peoples money and bolting away in the night on a stolen ferry. She had heard quite a few stories regarding the Great Nations, Konoha’s Military Might, Kirigakure’s savagery, Kumogakure Resolves, Sunagakure’s dissertation and wastes, and finally Hoshigakure religions and slight chaos that the factor of Ninja being added has only made the nation more divided.

Her thoughts on the matter of villages came to a halt when she came across her first hurtle, that being a massive chasm in between her and the path that she needed to go in order to make it towards the settlement. The gap was about 10 Meters, she could potentially make a jump like that. Yet with the Gold potentially weighing her down, this was certainly going to get interesting. She’d have to simply make the jump, yet her option was simple: she'd have to use her Wakizashi in order to stick the landing on the other side of the chasm. Even with the Gold potentially weighing her down, she was not going to give up on one simple big hole being in the way. She’d crack her knuckles, her legs lightly beginning to spread a part before she started to stretch, keeping her legs nice and nimble for the coming jump she was about to do. Jutsu was still a bit of a problem for her. As a result she’d have to do this with essentially just her physical capabilities and guts. Shifting now into a running stance, the sack of ingots snugly wrapped around her body. Sukiba’s orange eyes faced into the great mass before her. Knowing fully well that she could at least hook herself onto the Chasm walls. One hand on her Wakizashi, another gripping onto the bag containing the Ingots. It was here that Sukiba began to run. Large steps building up speed Right before her foot would have fallen off the edge, she’d use the built up moment to make a jump, rocketing herself forwards and pulling out the Wakizashi almost immediately. Her Prediction had been accurate, as right before she was about to make it onto the edge, she was losing momentum, causing her to also slam right into the chasm stone wall below. Yet a sudden stab with her Wakizashi would at least hold herself up for the moment, allowing her to readjust and use the Surface walking ability to climb her way out of the Chasm. Still holding onto the bag with a small grin.

Continuing her rush towards the settlement. Being prepaid made it a lot easier for her to rest if she wanted to. However to rest would be to waste the amount of time that she actually would need in her life. She needed time to think, time to eat, time to sleep, time to grow and experience the world in its purest form. That was why she even wanted people to begin to trust her. As it would mean she’d be able to have more time. She was a small ember, ready to grow into that raging inferno she wanted to be. Yet times like these were usually rough for even the smallest of travelers. Which is why she’d take an odd job like this. She got through life simply doing odd jobs. One more certainly would not hurt her. Yet when it came to her second challenge, she knew that she couldn’t waste time with this.

A few crooks had stationed themselves right outside of the town, one of them, with a scar going down from his neck from what she could tell all the down to his back. His tanned skin made her wonder where he was from. Somewhere probably where it was hot, the most likely place would be that of Sunagakure. Yet the other four crooks he had with him didn’t seem all that impressive. One holding a massive club, two of them holding swords, and the last holding a battle ax in their hands. She would not be merciful, these were simple bandits, crooks who went by stealing from other towns instead of nations or villages that could afford it. To which, she’d through her Wakizashi suddenly, the blade stabbing into the body of the biggest one, the one holding the massive mace. Her body leaping forwards into the action, her actual sword drawn for the fight to come. Immediately seeing how she had picked a fight, the other four would react quickly, the two with the swords, both of them curved like a sickle would charge forwards. Sukiba’s blade clashing with their own swords for a moment. Her body weaving them before her blade had connected with one of their arms, chopping off their limb before going directly in for the kill with a stab to the neck. Yet it lefther slightly exposed, her back was hit with a slash from the other blade. . . that seemingly had no effect. A smirk plastered on her face at the fact her Ronin Robes had been able to block the slash, drawing her sword from the other man's neck, aiming a slash directly towards the man's chest. Covering the women with blood as a result. Her eyes peered over towards the other two that were left. The one with the ax would charge with the supposed leader of the group, who had a Bo-Staff she had not seen before, one that seemingly would come apart for extra reach and mobility. Now this was a fight she could get behind. Her legs moving into a clearly wide stance, holding the tip of her blade forwards. The two that were charging forwards wouldn’t have been able to predict it. But a quickly timed slash of her refined blade slashed through the Ax man's arms, her sword cleaving through the man like butter. She was improving her skills as a user of Kenjutsu. Her exceptional strength would make most bandits quiver.

The man before her wouldn’t have fared much better, clashing weapons with him was certainly interesting. Yet he didn’t really have that same effect she was thinking he’d have. Besides, a good test run for her capabilities certainly was worth it in the end. His head tumbling to the ground after a clean swing of her blade across his entire neck. Giving her time to adjust while she stood there, covered in blood.

“Jeez, how to explain this!” She thought to herself, a bright smile on her face before moving forwards with the delivery. Eventually finding the man who was supposed to receive the gift. She’d use a small portion of the Ryo to find a hotel room and get herself cleaned up. Ready to head out again after a few days of rest.
