Monsoon and Zraix would be at the entrance to Hoshigakure, after tending the Bulwark's garden

"Only one whos eyes view the shadow of reality and the body of infinity as one can reach the city where the two converge...Scala Ad Caelum..." repeated Monsoon. He looks up, to find the position of the sun in the cloudless sky. He looks down at the many shadows cast by the well-watered garden that lined the entrance. He cranes his head toward the open gate, to the main street of the village. In the distance, a gilded palanquin reflected the mid-morning sunlight.

"Do you think your forebears words literal? That one needs their eyes and body to transcend reality and infinity?, said the Uchiha, bringing attention to the soon arrival of their next mission target, the famed architect Jamil Proctor.

The Uchiha would step to the side of the road and wrap his hands behind his waist. He would mask his expression and give a deferring, closed eyed smile to their mission target. He would continue speaking above the rising, shrill voice of a loud-mouthed man.

"If they are, then perhaps we are missing some component. Do you recall our spar with Ciel, when you instructed me to attack? That jutsu he used to avoid it shared qualities similar to your own techniques. Do you possess an ability comparable to that? Can you make your body go to....infinity?" he would say, briefly dumbfounded by his own words.

The architect would cross the threshold of the gate, walking next to a gaudy palanquin which was carried by four exhausted laborers. Before Jamil Proctor uttered a harsh word to either Monsoon or Zraix, the Uchiha would bow: appealing to Proctor's ego. As expected, the self-inflated man quieted down, happy at the sign of acknowledgement. He walked up to Monsoon, ready to give him a hearty handshake and signed photo of himself.

As he did, Monsoon looked up, opening his eyes and staring into the pupils of Jamil proctor with his three-tomoe sharingan. In an instant, the Uchiha would cast his Sharingan genjutsu the moment their eyes locked, before closing his eyes and accepting the photo with backhanded reverence. The genjutsu cast would be minor, one that, for Proctor, would make him see the adventure as he would, walking next to the palanquin and treating those we crossed as he wished. However, the people he would see and interact with would be illusions, as would their reactions. Thus, in reality, he would be quietly walking next to the palanquin, before slowly dozing off in the palanquin: thus preventing any unwarranted conflicts. When he did, monsoon, with his strength, would lift the palanquin by himself, alleviating the laborers and allowing the shinobi to escort their target without allowing others to eavesdrop.

The question asked by his partner perplexed him, he too was unsure what the text meant in a literal sense or if the text should be considered at all in a literal sense- he pondered while remaining quiet for some time before replying to Monsoon. "I dont think we can dismiss the possibility that the text is literal as my theory of the world is that infinite power does truly exist. However, at my current level I dont believe I can reach such heights and I struggle to imagine any shinobi throughout time who has been able to." He would follow behind Monsoon as the two of them met up with the man they were to be protecting on this mission.

Zraix couldnt help but chuckle a bit as he watched his partner subjugate their person of interest with a genjutsu- he was unsure of the moral aspect of doing so but he understood the utility of having their guest a bit more quiet as they traversed the land. He would nod in approval before continuing their conversation from earlier. "I know there are higher levels of Space time jutsu that I should be able to grasp and I wont be able to locate scala ad caelum without them. Still, in the mean time I think we should be doing anything we can to lessen the distance between us and the promised city." Zraix took a moment to recall the battle they just had with another one of their team mates Ciel Uchiha, another up and coming shinobi with great talent and much promise. Their battle show cased his ability to think on his toes and he showed off his impressive arsenal of techniques- the one in question that Monsoon spoke of was a jutsu specific to the sharingan and could only exist at the upper level of its development. Zraix was sure that it was a space time technique but never got the chance to speak with Ciel in detail about it. "Yes.. that jutsu he used was extremely powerful. He was intangible for a time and something tells me he could have sustained it for longer. It opened my eyes to other types of space time abilities that exist. As it stands I do not have an ability similar to that though I do have an ability that allows for transport nigh instantly through portals. Its not quite powerful enough yet to sustain humans but items and jutsu can travel through it. Ill show you sometime but first lets drop this guy off and continue our journey."  

As they walked the Hoshimura couldnt help but to dwell on his inability to utilize space time techniques at a higher level- he had witnessed Ciel use a technique that was beyond anything he had ever laid eyes on and realized that he was lacking. Nothing in the realm of space time jutsu had ever felt natural or really clicked with him so he had to lean on his skill as a swordsman to make up the difference- this was always the case but it was now time for that to be done away with. In order to reach his goals and continue on to the next level in his development he needed to fully incorporate and embrace space time jutsu into his arsenal. He was fast, but knew with this new range of techniques he could reach speeds he could only dream of.

Looking over at Monsoon he would nod to him as they reached their destination to drop off the man they had escorted. He would watch as Monsoon deactivated his genjutsu releasing the man and allowing him a second to shake off the haze from the casted technique. The man questioned what had happened before turning and seeing that they had reached the destination to which he was quite thankful. He would shake the hands of both shinobi before taking his leave . Monsoon and Zraix would do the same before going their separate ways, their mission now complete.
