[Normal Appearance minus small adjustment to physique as detailed below.]
Marabelle had recently found herself in a new place to stay within the village of Hoshigakure. She found herself floating in her dreams. Per what she anticipated there was more to take care of and do and the job itself was not over yet. The Everbloom's appearance formed around her dream body as she dreamt of herself as herself, with only one change as she felt relief on her back. As a traveler she had trained her body well but the labors of how much her back had to carry was still something she was adjusting to as her stature would promote a smaller set of assets to handle on a typical day. She was anything but normal at this point as she decided to form an organization of her own to combat the woes she felt the world faced. Now was not a time for that dream as that was in motion in reality. Right now she needed to find others who may be present and find an avenue to handle whatever was going on.
Thus she began to think and dream up standard roads, streets, trees, and anything else that could be used to help draw other shinobi to her as she ventured further into the ethereal sea present before her. Her kimono's design was unmoving as she moved, creating a sharp contrast to the world around her as it looked as if someone had a punchout of the silhouette. It had the look of a sheet of fabric with a cookie cutter moving on top of it. Moving as she did, the design would roll through various cherry blossom flowers, petals, stems, and branches as she found herself lost within the space, but moving in a direction towards the finish of this mess once and for all.

- Spooky Time:
The prior day had all but annoyed the red headed male as he sat on top of the rooftop of his home while the others had slept. From the weird little eyeball things to the anomalies that plagued the village had all but racked his brain but not because he was dumb. No matter how muscle bound he had been, his intelligence was unquestioned, but something about it just did not sit right with him. After the events of learning what had been going on and unknown to him what was continuing to go on, security in the village was stepped up. Even if the people could sleep peacefully and try to deal with their nightmares knowing that something was on the horizon? Nura could not sit still. There was an issue that needed to be solved but until he knew where the main issue was he could not do much about it. Letting out a sigh of defeat, the crimson haired male rolled over onto his side and began to look at the horizon where the sun had just offered its last wave and soon the moon would show its face.
He remembered something about the Land of Dreams becoming the Land of Nightmares and if this is where the cause was well…that was where he needed to go. Rolling back onto his back he would cradle his head gently into the palms of his hands he would close his crimson eyes and allow the gentle embrace of slumber take him. Darkness soon took over his sight as he felt a shift, not like his normal slumber. At first he would see blotches of blue and black symbolizing his Yuumei embracing him, but now it was only darkness. As he opened his eyes he felt formless, an entity that did not exist or would not exist and suddenly he felt bewildered. What had happened for him to end up like this? The world around him sat formless as well and it was as if he was being pulled into something. Taking a deep breath he would focus on his form, bringing himself into the abyss and allowing his mind to fuse with his Yuumei and his thoughts. Slowly form would come to the chaos as he touched down onto the ground, feeling something akin to cobblestone beneath the fabrics that housed his feet. Speaking of as he looked down he could see that he was wearing something differently than what he wore in his normal dreams. Colors of purple and magenta met metal that looked like greaves and armor and adorning his top was a cloak that only bore a hoodie that sat upon his head. He felt as if he had on gauntlets and something…something floated behind him. Smiling he would begin to look around trying to get his bearings. This was not any landscape he could remember and even when he tried to pull from the collective nothing was coming up. Shrugging he began to walk forward following the only path he could see until he had foun someone who could give him the answers he wanted.

The night had arrived after a long and tiring day of travel, setting up camp far from the beaten path he had been using since dawn, he had allowed himself to sleep after ensuring he was alone, expecting to merely rest like any other night yet as he drifted off to sleep he found himself waking up rather quickly into what appeared to be an unending void, a sight that made him uneasy and as he tried to click his mandibles out of habit to convey his sense of uneasy, he found himself unable to do so. Looking down at himself, he hadn't expected to find himself with a body and his mind began to race with questions, most of which was about how to break himself out of this genjutsu that he had found himself, yet the as he began to think he noticed something rather odd happen, a single hand was floating in the air where he imagined himself having to run through hand seals to free himself from the genjutsu, another hand in the process of forming yet these weren't his own hands despite being in his control, they seemed almost reptilians in nature and featured long black nails on each end that weren't too different from the man he had met at the camp a short while back.
Familiar gauntlets formed onto the forearms that he knew belonged to his clan and yet they seemed more refined and advanced than what his clan had been capable of producing, the metal alloys weren't the same yet somehow stronger and as he flicked his wrist in, the blade that sprang free had done so with intense speed, far faster than the methods that had been used for his clan, not to mention the blade itself seemed to be of equally high quality. Watching as his upper arm would form, he saw the familiar netting of his clan's armor materialize and he could feel it's comforting warmth against his skin as it appeared before being covered by his clan's heavy armor arm pieces being formed and trailing up to his shoulders that also began to take shape. This body was far stronger and bigger than his normal body yet it seemed as if the rough skin patches that had made up his brows had overtaken his entire body as he could see the reptile like skin making up the stomach area underneath the gaps in his clan's heavy armor, it felt unnatural yet also felt like he was complete, perhaps this was once an ability his people had, a transformation akin to the Jugo and their strange transformation into their berserker state?
Regardless, he watched as his body came into being, the armor similar to his clan yet refined and improved upon into something far stronger than what any of his people could produce, he could even feel the combistick form onto his back yet a strange device was mounted on his shoulder, one that looked like a barrel of some sort that could move around, it had reminded him of a device a puppet could use but what purpose it could serve was beyond him, perhaps it was a launching device of some kind. Then he finally felt his head beginning to take shape, his face humanoid yet the same rough skin covered it and he felt his mandibles return to him once, letting them click in satisfaction as the final piece of his clan's helmet appeared before him, the helmet donned with his clan's symbol and he didn't feel like the warrior he thought he could become, instead it felt he became the warrior his people could become. Or perhaps once was.
Stepping forward onto the cobblestone path that appeared before him, he begun to make his way forward, letting the wrist blade retreat back into it's metal shell and his heavier footsteps crunch the stone beneath him due to his newfound increase in both height and weight. As he trekked forward, he could tell that his dreadlocks that were once tied down were freely spilling around his back but he didn't think anyone could use those against him, he felt like he could take on the world with his newfound body, he could even hear the bones rattling of what appeared to be the skulls of bats or birds on his chest, worn proudly like a trophy, bringing forth the memory of his first hunt with his father, it was a small hawk that he managed to bring down with a single kunai, a worthy feat that earned him the respect of his father and peers.

- Spoiler:
This is the story of how I came to be. The end is only the beginning. It always has been. In the haunting realm of the Land of Nightmares, Pluto took the form of an obsidian silhouette, his towering figure further embellished by a tall obsidian fedora. As he marched forward into the dark, shadowy labyrinth, his very existence seemed to be woven into the eerie tapestry of this domain. Bearing no recollection of a life outside of this dark dream, he was a phantom who had never known the boundaries of any other reality.
He navigated a world that he could neither see nor hear. The smell of sulphur lingered in the air in various concentrations, some regions more sulphurous than others. Faint vibrations in the air heralded an approaching force, one that would soon manifest as a sharp, agonizing pain. This was good news. It was a signal that it was time to feed. His sustenance had always been drawn from the very fabric of this reality.
As time progressed, the phantom became more efficient at navigating his landscape. He discovered a strange dance with the smells and vibrations around him, learning act before they transformed into sharp gaping sensations and metallic smells - painful wounds on his spectral vessel. He found angles that he could use to devise the pathways of his limbs and found that when he advanced preemptively, he could save more energy. With every meal, he grew more confident in his abilities.
The phantom had been walking for an eternity, when he found himself at a crossroads. He sensed three other entities, evenly spaced on different roads. The crossroads presented a new challenge, a convergence of destinies in the twisted corridors of the Land of Nightmares. Without any hesitation, Pluto clutched his weapon - a single golden arrow unaccompanied by a bow - in preparation for his next meal.

With a group fully formed, Marabelle looked amongst the assortment of individuals who had found their way to her. The paths that converged brought forth a wild range of individuals together. From what looked like some sort of magister styled individual to a creature with armor for skin and then lastly an obsidian man all with a hat appeared before her. Appearing as herself, it was quite possible the others present might just assume that she was a doll of some sort but alas, it was just her with a smaller chest. A sigh escaped her lips as she looked towards the others, “Everbloom.” She stated giving a waving gesture as a greeting looking amongst the other three to see their response before proceeding.
“Land of Nightmares,” Marabelle gestures toward the dreamscape around them as it fluctuated between various scenes. Appearances of the various settings she had been, Haven, Sky, Forest, Demons and even her homeland of Bean Jam could be seen riffled amongst the setting. Presumably their travels and journeys would be replicated in some fashion. Looking around, it become obvious that the degree of interaction between the four was likely going to be minimum so she felt the best method to handle it all was to simply be factual, “There is something we must do here to stop the tide of nightmares. We must help the Land of Dreams.” She declared openly as the crossroads adjusted to accommodate a fifth path, presumably the path forward towards the goal they needed to accomplish.
As the path formed, various children’s tales began to form and shape within the path. From pranks gone wrong to monstrous presentations of academy sensei’s and old wives tales told at night to scare the children to sleep. From the scents and the odor of dirty laundry to the growth from under the bed, to the sense of taste of sand in one’s mouth, the amalgamation of scenery collided and clashed to the point that more of the dream creatures began to form and escape from the cracks of these nightmares. Flying beasts with the head of monkeys, arms like the wings of a sparrow and the body of a snake lunged outward from these scenes towards the group from the 5th path. Drawing her tanto, Marabelle swiftly progressed forward towards the darkness on the other end of the Dreamscape Sea. Overhead squeals and screams echoed and vibrated the footfalls that the group stood upon, another child’s nightmare was coming to life.
Marabelle looked up and saw as multiple rifts grew off in the distance well beyond the group’s current position. “More creatures are likely inbound. Is there anyone who hasn’t encountered these before?” She asked openly unsure of the others capacity or knowledge base. Since she handled a whole series of attempts dealing with some monsters in the past, though she would not consider herself an expert in the field, the Everbloom was at least acutely aware their consciousnesses could help form the surroundings but considering they were not longer in their own lands, there was no telling what limits were there for their own imagination or what their own subconsciouses could do without their knowledge. As the creatures made their way to her, she cut down what she could reach or what came after her as she knew the others had to be capable to defend themselves to get to this point. It was not that she could not try to stop all, but it was a degree of working with minimal information. Her small movements with her blade allowed the others to be more open about their own capacities should they choose to unleash something wild. Since they were an impromptu squad within the Land of Nightmares it only made sense to keep limited tabs on capacities for now till it got serious, there was no telling what lurked in the darkness or beyond their sight for now.
Reassessing the group from the first group and encounter, Marabelle looked around herself to see if her satchel was there. Thankfully her dream self had the satchel yet when she opened the bag, darkness filled the space as she stuck her hand in looking for something. Pulling out an armband, she grabbed something out of nothing and shook her head, “Guess our memories or thoughts can take form for our needs.” She elaborated before affixing the band onto her kimono, a medical symbol present and visible to the group. ”I’m more of a medic but I can do combat if necessary.” Once she declared that she waited to see who stepped up to take the more frontline position of the group to venture further into the ever growing and shifting space before them. Surely someone else would take the step forward to lead the four.

Re: Blooming Blossoms [Event-Halloween]
Wed Nov 22, 2023 7:13 pm
As he stepped accents of black, blue and heat began to surround his path. Long stone pillars a lit with a spectral blue flame caused him to stop in his tracks as he reached out to touch one of them slowly, as if he was lost in a trance. The fire would envelope the palm of his hand as if cool to the touch before he smiled and removed his hand from it. A fire he could interact with almost as if it was formed from his own chakra. The crimson haired male would chuckle slightly as he continued to walk forward toward the visage of what he had thought was a person. As his towering body got closer and closer he could see that it was indeed a person, a younger woman that could have potentially have been younger than him or maybe older. Looks were always deceiving but he was not going to bring it up. Instead he would flash her a devilish smile as he gave her a nod and followed her line of sight to see two more people. He did not honestly care for them, but they were here for the same reason- to figure out what had been going on in this landscape and to fix it. Crossing his arms he would listen to her speak, confirming himself that this place was what he thought it was. The dreamscape he, his brothers and his father had found out about the day prior if it could be called that. Except this one seemed distorted, bastardized in a way.
That was enough for him to figure out what he wanted to do about it. He was not the type to merely fix things for free, but if these things continued to perverse this space and then leak into he real world it could pose a tremendous problem. For that reason alone he would decide to help out if only to benefit himself. As the fifth path began to form, he would turn his body to face it and begin on it. In the distance however he would be able to see something or a group of something forming in the distance, no doubt the manifestation of dreams and nightmare for the many denizens that were dreaming at this moment. He wondered just what would come of this, these creatures that they would fight and then his mind went back to the eyeball tentacle creatures that plagued his home. The question posed to them caused him to smile as he cracked his knuckles and as one of them flew at him would be caught in his right hand like a fly within a spider’s web. Looking at the creature he would begin to squeeze with his own strength until nothing but a pop followed by inky blood covered his chest and the body was dropped only to disintegrate,” These beasts have been seen in my home about a day ago. Easy to destroy bodies but they have the numbers advantage for sure. Nothing to be concerned about however,” he’d state as he walked forward picking one or two at a time from the air before crushing them in his hands.
He would continue forward allowing the others to get ready, ripping the creatures from the air and crushing them with his hands until a group of them surrounded him and tried to restrain him. For a moment he started to struggle before he laughed. He would ignite in a brilliant blaze of blue fire that would incinerate the nightmare creatures dropping them to his side as he dusted his clothing off and smiled,” Ah that feels better…nothing like the smell of burning flesh to fuel your night..well? You lot coming?,” he raise a brow as he continued forward toward their endgoal.

As Kenshin ventured forth, he was quick to pick up on the three other paths and their respective travelers that would all be meeting in a central location, two of which appeared to be nothing more than average people but the third one had caught his eye, a figure just a bit shorter than he was who appeared to be nothing more than a void of darkness in the shape of a man, however this thing seemed to be wearing a hat of some sort but nothing about their approach brought him any unease, he felt powerful enough in his new form that even should these three decide to turn on him, he'd be able to fend them off although he strongly doubted any of the others would do so, they made no effort to hide nor could he see any stiffness in their walks, no tension in their shoulders, they seemed like they were willing to talk if nothing else and so he would be willing to extend the same courtesy to the trio.
"Kenshin." He'd introduce himself with a single nod toward the woman, remaining quiet and listening as the trio talked about this land of nightmares and how they were brought here to try and turn the tides against the oncoming nightmares, something Kenshin didn't quite buy but seeing as he was brought into the void and given a whole new body, he was forced to accept that perhaps he had been brought via a summoning jutsu of some kind by pure chance. With the opening of the fifth path, Kenshin followed along watching as a new world formed before them with interest and unease, he didn't like entire creations just appearing out of thin air and the lands before them appeared to be a incoherent mess of areas without rhyme or reason behind their placement, even the creatures it was sending to attack the intruders didn't make any sense as the small creatures carried numerous features of different animals.
"If it bleeds, we can kill it." Kenshin spoke his thoughts on the matter of dream creatures toward the pink haired girl, he may not have experience fighting the creatures but as he watched the red haired male of the group squish one in it's hands, he knew these things wouldn't be any type of challenge to him. With a flick of his wrist, he allowed the wrist blade to swing free and he begun to carve a path forward with the red head of the group, the man's flames provided an ample beacon and shield from the creatures while Kenshin sliced whatever creatures decided to bypass him to attack the others. "We move as one." He'd voice his agreement to the burning man, unsure if it was a feature of the dream or a jutsu that he possessed in the real world, regardless of how it came to be, it would be useful for their apparent battle against the nightmare creatures.

Re: Blooming Blossoms [Event-Halloween]

The first vibration that broke the dead silence of the abyss was pink. The third was green. The one in the middle did not have a specific color. What either green or pink, or lack of color looked like was a foreign concept beyond Pluto's means of comprehension. Strange. He was vary of the three entities beside him, but they did not give him hostile vibrations. The obsidian apparition stood there, a void staring into the void, as the four paths adjusted to make way for a fifth, the ground quaking under his feet. He sensed the way forward. It was time.
The fleet of eldritch beasts that flurried out from the ruptures in the sky were familiar to Pluto. It seemed to him as though these were offsprings of the same beasts he had spent all of an eternity fighting and feeding on. However, this time was different. They each bore strange characteristics akin to features from another realm, one that Pluto felt as though he had not stepped foot in before. As he marched forward, he was vary of a sensation of heat, emanating from the direction of one of his newfound allies. He felt the vibrations as the group made their way down the fifth path, taking down the monsters in their way.
He had barely taken a few steps when he felt the cold touch of a floating, hooded white creature. He reached out and touched its fabric, and unravelled its cloak form into a narrow string, unweaving its structure with his obsidian hand. He put one end of the tube into his mouth and slurped it up like spaghetti, whatever that was, straight into his pitch black stomach. Strangely, once he felt his meal in his stomach he felt more empty, more hungry. He took another two steps forward, and placed a well timed bite to devour the head of another spirit, this one was furry. He swallowed the head, his throat bulging before he burped. He was hungrier. Confused, he kept moving forward.
A third creature opened its mouth from under Pluto's feet. In one fell swoop, its jaws clamped down on his right ankle, making the sound of cracking glass. Pluto grunted, he tilted his head upwards, and he twitched. He groaned, twisting his foot, digging it into the surface of the path below him. As he twisted, he felt vibrations make their way up his leg. He couldn't hear its screams as its shape contorted around his calf, until it took the form of cowboy boots. "Yuhh!" Pluto let out a valiant scream. He stomped the ground with his other foot to squish another fish monster, making a second boot. "Yuhh!"
"Aghuhguabughghagbubba!" Pluto beat his chest with his fist before he snatched a floating three headed snake and snapped it in half. To his surprise, the two halves grew six more heads. He snapped them like twigs, slurping them into his mouth one by one as more spawned with every gulp. His stomach felt empty as a bottomless pit, and he could feel it growl. He grabbed two snake heads and shoved the smaller head into the mouth of the bigger one, and felt the strange entity collapse into itself, knotting up before falling to the ground. He pointed at the twitching loops.
"Heh heh heh. Aughroboghros."
He took another step, marching forward - there was a light at the end of the tunnel, whatever it meant to be light.

The balancing act of the four was quite interesting to Marabelle. Many things were going on in each of them and their thoughts of the landscape before them. Marabelle was no different or immune to the mystical aspect of the world around the quad. Each had their own motives and reasoning to be here presumably. Very likely each of them fell asleep and woke up here with little to no knowledge of the situation's impact, though she appreciated that everyone seemed to be in sync to be heading towards the common goal of figuring things out. With that in mind and assessing each one of them herself, she quickly formed some seals to reach her sensory abilities further outward as the group repositioned to head forward, further into the Dreamscape. Holding the seal of confrontation and putting herself in the middle of the group, her sensory capacity reached 35 meters. From there it was just a matter of progression for them.
The first to take note of was Nuraihyon, he had been efficient in this space. Almost as if he had been here or trained in some capacity within the concept at least. This was a good sign to Marabelle, seeing others with some knowledge basis was good. Then came Kenshin who introduced himself plainly and made it a note that if they could be hurt, then there was no an issue to be had. He reaffirmed his conviction directly as well, advocating union in action which Marabelle happily agreed and nodded to in affirmation, "As one." Lastly came Pluto, an odd enigmatic individual who seemed to be handling himself quite well. His vocalization seemed interesting to her though pressing for answers based on his tonality would likely be moot. Her sensory abilities and knack for medical knowledge indicated that he was deaf and mute, a difficult combination to work with but not one that Marabelle shied away from.
Turning forward and pushing onward with the group, she maintained the seal in her hand to keep her mind's eye out. From there as creatures formed and the chakra materialized before them, the Everbloom would point out and call out once she detected them, a level of precision and care ever present from the pink one. "3 creatures, North-west relative, 15 meters." Being the first comment out when she identified more would come. This repeated for a while as the group made their way deeper into the Dreamscape Sea, more dangers lurking further as they went. Numbers and distances fluctuated as the deeper they ventured, the more that spawned out from the darkness and the further they came from. It appeared whatever was sending the creatures to fight was drawing from somewhere and wanted the distance to create these abominations as the further they went the more malformed the creatures appeared. Originally terrors from the depths of children's nightmares, teddy bears growing teeth, clowns with balloon swords, to even decrepit teachers with eldritch characteristics, the creatures kept shifting and changing.
It was then that Marabelle noticed something sinister growing and forming in the background. It was out of her reach for her sensory abilities but its silhouette was distinct from what she could see. It was a person, a body, an entity watching and waiting. There was not much else to determine at this time but she made a note of it. "Seems like we're being watched. I see something standing in the corner of my eyes. I'm not sure what it is, I can't sense that far away from us at this time. Just be on the lookout." She vocalized before moving closer to Pluto, reaching to touch him. If he would let her, his senses would be filled with the concept of danger, ever-present and watching from the depths, far beyond the surroundings they had. Marabelle was unsure if the message and intent of what she was trying to convey would be received well but her touch was ginger, careful purposeful, and kind. She would look at Pluto's form, her own attempting to relay the danger she was seeing to an individual who could not if he let her touch her. If he pulled away from her attempt she would not press it forward and hope the best for the blind-deaf man.
Once that was stated and declared, she continued her sensory technique as she drew a tanto that almost mirrored her short stature as compared to a katana wielded by a samurai. Marabelle alerted the group that a large wave was coming from their forward flank in its entirety. The Everbloom breathed in and lowered her position a bit before a wave of water followed her she made a circle that followed around her, her blade pointed outward as she took on swinging poses at the NW, N, and NE relative direction the group was going, the images of her standing there remaining. Creating a circle with images of herself, emitting her chakra signature too, Marabelle made a defensive position for the group to rally around. "I think we may need to remain vigilant here if more at to come. I've made a defensive circle that should help deter them from approaching if you need to recover momentarily. I can heal you up in between fights." She added in dropping her sensory technique as she maintained her elevated breathing, her water circle formed with a total circumference of 40 meters, roughly 12.75 meters across from any point. The reflections act as bait, drawing the creatures towards them.
As the group's collective signature almost doubled in size, Marabelle stared forward preparing to weather the storm, her focus on those who would jump in and out into the fight or even fight from within the circle, on standby to heal or help recover any wounds that may arise. Her own ability showed strong at this point looking to create almost a bunker for the group as she knew some of the creatures either had wings or other methods to get over the circle she created to help encapsulate the group. It was relatively ingenious to a degree though it is uncertain if the group would utilize it. It was just a matter of time and effort to withstand the new onslaught from the foes of the Land of Nightmares, stopping as they were nearing the darkness, Marabelle assumed this path was about to draw to its end soon enough. It was difficult to gauge how much of a path was left nor how long they had been traveling in this realm. Only time and effort will tell how much longer.

"Even if they don't bleed they will die. Anything that gets in our way will be crushed into the ground...or darkness. Whatever comes first. So. Let's be on our way before we get stuck in a sea of monsters," he'd declare though he was going to take helm, he was still wary of this space. There were things outside of his vision, both normal and through his Meigan, and as he activated his eyes he would begin to see that the expanse of darkness was greater than what he could see. This was a time where he would need his brother here. The bookworm would be able to discern at least if they were in a long standing genjutsu or did that rift that opened up in their home sucked them in at the dead of night. So many things to consider that it began to hurt the males head but he continued onward. When the pink haired female called out a nearby foe or at least one that was coming toward them, Nura leaped forward and grabbed two of them from the air, snatching them midflight and crushing them under the might of his impressive strength. One thing about him was that he prized himself on his ability to crush anything that got in his way. Something that did not like or at least notice was the fact that when he killed them it felt like ink. Or almost like an emptiness. While it held substance it was also as if it was made of nothing. Another pointless and irritating situation to have to rack his brain about, but he would leave that to the others to figure out. As the group continued to walk on the path he could feel the presence of something watching him. Probing him. Every so often he would turn his head on a swivel to see if he could catch it, but he still could not. Eventually Mirabelle spoke up about it which only confirmed his suspicions but even in his normal fashion he would scoff," Probably too scared to try and fight us head on so its going to wait in the darkness until these small fries wear us down...A cowards approach," spitting out of the way he would prefer them to simply fight and get it over with.
Since they were still walking he did not need to recover nor was he getting tired. In fact he was getting pumped. He enjoyed the thrill of the fight but even then in the deepest crevice of his mind he could feel it. Something had been tugging at his mind telling him to curb his bravado and be careful. Something was out there, but he did not care he would approach it none the less and deal with it.
