Souls Calling Part 1
Thu Dec 21, 2023 11:14 am
"Hello! Hiko?", Katsuragi yelled as he now stood within the center of the main hall. He takes a moment after using some fire nature chakra to light up the fire pit. His Cat eye technique was useful in this situation, being that it was completely dark. Nevertheless, such hindrances were removed swiftly. But, as life would have it, the light from the fire would reveal more.
Katsuragi's attire consisted of a Yakuta black leather jacket, altered to that of a vest. The inner workings still functional with no hindrance. Underneath his vest, he wears a navy blue hoodie. His belt is black leather, designer's choice, with an overlapping LV emblem as a buckle. Attached to the right side of his belt, a knife holster to which Bushranger rested in. The locking strapped to keep it in the holster was buttoned in, although easily retrievable with a willful draw. Behind, were attached two weapon pouches with various tools and such for assistance. His pouches are covered by his hoodie, but are still accessible with ease. His pants being that of a fresh pair of black stretch jeans with ankle zippers located on the lower inside section of the pants. His boots on his feet also being solid black of a leather material with an emblem labeled "EU", it's made of metal stitched to the tongue of the boots. His hair, still vivid, was a solid dark purple. His hair in contrast with his pale skin, however, his arms torso and hands bore a mural of mostly assorted prison tattoos; all black ink in color. He himself stood at a height of 6'2 feet with a thin frame. His other tools and such were also assorted evenly along his attire, given no hint to their whereabouts yet allowed him easy access with a little bit of technique due to his skill with the hidden arms technique.
His Mugger's Mark, loaded with his green tipped arrows( which all were filled with paralysis poison), was hanging on his back by a hook, linked to a ring which was attached to the lower thoracic center area of his leather jacket. It made for easy retrieval.
It was just as he left it, the area where the two sparred was exactly the same. The rough unfixed area that were promised a face lift were left with out any love and care towards it. Even the faint sounds of screams from the ceiling lingered ever so softly. He actually thought that feature of the hideout added a bit of, theme to the structure. Just what the hell was going n he wondered. With Hiko nowhere to be found, he sits 4 meters away from the firepit, flat on his bum. His simply sat there and pondered on his next move. "Wait, I'll check the bingo book. See if my boy really did bite the bucket", he said casually. It was the solution he could come up with. The enthusiasm he remembered Hiko had was unmatched, no way would it just up an die without a little bit of work towards the place. He sighs, coming to the fact that he may be alone in this yet again. Whelp, at least eh got a base out of it. He looks over to the same crates that were shoved against the wall on their moving day.
"Hmm..", he gets up slowly and saunters over to the crates. He swiftly retrieves Bushranger with finesse, he truly mastered the art of twirling his combat knife. Reaching the box, and stops and takes a firm grip at the hilt with his right hand. With one swing, coating the blade end first with a coat of chakra, he slashes at the crate twice. He effectively removes the tp portion of the crate without damaging the contents. HIs pale eye aided well in this task.
He was now seen rummaging through the contents of the crate, "Well Well Well... Lets see what we got here...".
"A bottle?", he holds the glass container loosely while trying to read the description. It was well preserved, but very foreign to him. he never heard of such a brand, McCallister? Nevertheless, he pops it open and takes a big swing. it tasted like whiskey, good whiskey too. "Damn..., this is good", he said after wiping his mouth. He keeps the bottle in hand while sheathing his combat knife and turning around back to the firepit. Yep, there wasn't much to do here, not since his partner in crime left. However, if Katsuragi was being honest with himself, it was really he who left Hiko. He sighs upon the fact, nothing verbal. Just playing it all out within his mind. Taking another swing of his new very drink, he saunters over to his room. The door wasnt even locked, which caused some concern. But, then again, nobody else knew of this place.
As he entered, he scans the room. Nothing but a bed and four walls. He blinks twice rapidly upon another interesting fact. "Where's the bathroom... ugh!", he slams his frame against the bed, back first. He had to admit, it was still quite as hard a she remembered. But, it still reminded him of prison, the whole layout and nothingness screamed cell. Suddenly, he felt a cool air brush the top of his head. He looks up, but saw nothing. Even with his pale eye. Not like he was harmed in anyway, it was just strange to feel the sudden brush of cool air.
It happens again, followed by a soft near silent wale. It sounded, like air being pushed through a crevasse. "What the...", he turns to the back of the bed frame. The break in between where the frame and the bed met, was were it was coming from. After moving the bed frame to the left, he inspects the wall and to his surprise he finds a deep narrow hole. The air once again blows through the hole and out into Katsuragi's end. He narrows his pale eye, inspecting the wall and everything behind it.
He thought he would see a hidden room behind it, which would explain the rush of air. BUt nothing, he saw no structures behind it. The more he concentrated his view, he then suddenly felt a jolt. Veins suddenly emerge around the socket of his eye. HIs gaze now extended, something he did not know his Pale eye could do. "Whoah..., this eye is amazing. Never fuckin ceases to ama- wait what was that", he looks lower and lower from his position. It was a faint light, it shimmered but it was only part of a very large structure.
After zooming back out, He takes a step back and charges his right fist with chakra. But before striking, he activated his taijutsu cloak, allowing his form to glow with a bright blue aura. A loud crack was made, as he struck the wall. The strike destroyed the wall while keeping the hideout intact, surprisingly. He looks to see that there was nothing but dirt and clay, which meant he had a lot of work to do. He then switches to use his evening elephant and creates a tunnel towards the blimp on his radar he once saw before. It curiosity got the best of him.
