Aqueous Transmission

Dante was enjoying the peaceful overcast day. It wasn't too hot or too cold, it was just the right temperature in this quaint little village. He decided to stroll around the village and enjoy the way the villagers hustled to do their chores and the way the shop's employees seemed to quite enjoy the work! Everyone seemed kind of friendly here, Dante didn't have his headband on because he wanted to see how he would be treated if they didn't know he was a village ninja.
The young hybrid was dressed in a short sleeved black button down shirt and a pair of black pants with his favorite pair of black boots. He had a necklace around his neck on a silver chain, it was his father's and he keeps it on at all times in memory of him! His short black hair had a rather spiky look to it today, which was ok considering the wind had moment's where it would pick up!
He noticed a sign off to his right that advertised the water gardens.
“Why not?” He said to himself as he walked into the entrance. Right away he was in awe of the sheer beauty of the place! His eyes took in the breathtaking beauty of each fountain and its graceful ornate way the water flowed from it! One of the ponds had the gorgeous lotus flowers adorning it and small little Koi Fish swimming through the water. Another pond had two waterfall fountains on either side and was outlined with Cherry Blossoms.
“Beautiful…” he whispered in a trance. Nature could be so beautiful, yet at times so crue! He thought as he continued to walk through the gardens. The weather was perfect making the scenario even more enjoyable for Dante. Good thing he wasn't busy with work, he actually was enjoying his time.

After tending to her church duties early in the morning, Kayori found herself with a bit of free time. Though she wished it was sunny and bright out, she yearned to be out roaming the village. She had been spending most of her time training, doing jobs for the village, and helping around the temple to Amaterasu so she was eager to take a break to relax a bit. Thinking it would be a sweet gesture, she decided that she’d make her way to The Water Gardens to purchase some fresh flowers for her mother. Before leaving her home she’d inform her parents of where she’d be going, quickly change into some comfortable clothes.

Kayori would slip into a white kimono that was decorated with flowers embroidered into the fabric. It hugged her body tightly, showing off a bit of her curvy body though most of her skin was covered. A golden necklace with a sun pendant could be seen proudly displayed on top of her kimono. Due to the chilly weather, she decided to keep her platinum blonde hair down instead of up in a high ponytail like she usually did, causing it to cascade down her back and stop roughly around her hips. Wanting to look a bit more presentable she’d put a bit of mascara on that accentuated her light blue eyes and highlighted her pale skin tone. .

Once she was finished getting ready, Kayori would make her way to the gardens, excited to see what awaited her. Soon she’d find herself at the entrance, and with a smile on her face she’d walk into the gardens. She spent some time wandering between the various florists that could be seen selling their wares, however she couldn’t find any she found too alluring. A bit defeated, she’d make her way to the center of the garden where a large pond with beautiful lotus flowers decorated it. Sitting on the edge of the pond, she’d contemplate what she should do next, however her attention then would turn to a young man who seemingly was enraptured by the beauty of the place.

She’d examine him for a moment, unsure if he was a shinobi like her though that didn’t matter much. Should he make eye contact with her, she’d offer him a sweet, welcoming wave. Though she felt a bit socially inept, she wanted to try to make some friends and knew that she’d have to put herself out there to do so.

Dantes trance was shattered by a sight far more beautiful than the fountains in the gardens. A young lady whose beauty completely stole his heart! Something no one had ever done before.
She waved at him and he smiled back at her. He picked up one of the lotus flowers that adorned the border of the fountain, and walked over to her and sat by her offering her the flower, though it wasn't nearly as beautiful as her, hopefully it was a good gesture!
“Hi, I'm Dante Hyuuga.” He said, trying to start a conversation with her. “This place is very entrancing.” He added hoping to not come on too strong to her. He wanted to tell her she was Beautiful but he wasn't really sure how to say it.
“Would you like to walk with me through the gardens and look at the fountains?” He asked as he held out his hand to her. He was hoping it wasn't to forward but he really wanted to get to know this beautiful lady, someone this pretty has to be beautiful on the inside as well. He was nervous considering he hadn't talked to many girls or had many girlfriends in the past, but he always manages to keep a steady face on the outside. He did, however, know there was a time and place for everything, he just had to say the right things at the right time!
“I'm new to the area, but have heard a lot of good things about this place. That's why I chose to come here today!” He said with a smile. He just couldn't stop staring at her, he looked away for a moment as he felt his cheeks getting warm! Okay, he had to stop staring, he was starting to blush!
“Are you from Hoshi?” He asked her as he looked back at her again.

A smile crossed his face as Kayori offered him a quick wave, she then watched him lean down and pluck a lotus from the water. Sitting beside her, he’d extend the flower out to her, to which she’d happily accept. He’d begin speaking, at first introducing himself then remarking on the beauty that surrounded the two of them. She’d offer him a bright, cheerful smile as she began to speak up. Her voice carried on the wind like a siren's call, beckoning those around her to draw closer.

”Well Dante, my name is Kayori Hatake, it’s a pleasure to meet you. Aren’t the gardens lovely, it’s so easy to get lost in the beauty of it all.”

Holding out his hand towards her, he’d ask if she’d like to take a walk with him. For a moment, she’d pause, unsure of what to say. Admittedly she found herself attracted to his exterior, so she thought to herself ”Why not, there’s no harm in going for a quick stroll.” Deciding to just go with the flow, she’d place a delicate hand in his and soon they both would rise from their seated position. The two of them now walking hand in hand began wandering about the gardens with no real destination in mind. Her icy blue eyes would gaze lovingly at the various plants and fountains they passed by.

As they moved, he’d explain that he had recently come to the village and had heard great things about the gardens. Her head would turn towards him as he continued to speak, attempting to seem like an active listener. He then would ask if she was originally from Hoshi, which she’d nod excitedly.

”Welcome to our wonderful village then, I do hope you’re liking it thus far. Yes, I’m from Hoshi, and was born and raised here. You can usually find me at the church of Amaterasu or somewhere in that general area if you need help with anything. I’d be more than happy to lend you a helping hand, or even show you around the village if you’d like”

Her voice was warm and inviting, like the sun kissing your skin on a hot summer day. She’d move her gaze off his as she continued to speak, though now seemingly admiring one of the flowers they passed by.

Dante held her hand as they walked through the gardens together. Every fountain, pond and flower seemed to have been perfectly placed in each section of the gardens. Everything was beautiful, but the most beautiful part of the garden was holding hands with him.
“I would love for you to show me around, I would also love to see your church. Most churches are beautiful and serene and give off a sense of comfort because of the meaning behind them!” He said smiling at her as he looked at her. Her beauty was far beyond that of the fountains behind her! It was hard to look at her and not get lost in her eyes.
“A lot of the temples I have heard of have amazing architecture.” He added, still holding her very soft hand in his. It was a very magical moment for him. A female had never affected him in such a way that he felt as though he had to get to know them, yet Kayori affected him this way. The way her voice sounded, it was as though the words melted his heart! She had a beautiful voice.
“I am from a village known as Volcano Village,it wasn't nearly as beautiful as this village. It was sadly attacked and destroyed not long ago, so my twin sister and a close friend of ours moved here to Hoshi, starting our lives over again. If you happen to meet a Talon Tau, he's the friend who came to Hoshi with us.” Dante said as they passed by one of the florist vendors. He smiled at them and handed a very beautiful purple and white Lily to Dante. Dante nodded towards the vendor and then handed the flower to Kayori to go with the lotus he had given her.
“Another beautiful flower, for a beautiful lady!” He said as he handed it to her.

She offered him a polite smile as he mentioned that he’d like to spend time with her, and potentially even see her church! By no means was she trying to convert her newfound friends to her religion, but believed to truly know her, they must know a little about it. She was happy to hear that he found an interest in their architecture, and was eager to show him the temple someday. Most people shied away from it if they weren’t directly worshipers, so she was sure the others would love to see a new face.

He then would mention that he was in fact new to Hoshi and that he and his twin sister, along with a close friend moved here quite recently. She had never heard about Volcano, but she wasn’t one to really keep up with world events. The issues only seemed to stress her out, so she avoided the worries of the world as much as she possibly could. He then would tell her the name of the friend that had joined him, and though she never met the man she would bring up the connection if she ever met him.

Passing by a vendor, Dante would pull one of the flowers from the display before handing it to Kayori. She’d offer him a slight bow as she accepted it, though she was now running out of space to carry things in. Instead of holding it in her hand, she’d tuck it gently behind her and secure it slightly with her hair. A light blush could be seen on her face as she looked at him and spoke up once more.

”Honestly you flatter me. I hope to meet your sister someday, and your friend Talon too! Perhaps we could all get together some night for dinner or I could you guys a bit more of the village! I’m at your disposal, so if you need anything please feel free to ask.”

The air continued to buzz around her happily as she spoke without a hint of malice in her voice.

Dante really liked the young lady, she was pretty, very nice to talk to and seemed to have a good personality based on the first impression she gave him! Maybe he should ask her to dinner? Or Escort her home, or maybe ask her to show him around! He had to execute this next part carefully so as to not show how inexperienced he was around women.
“Kayori, would you like to go to dinner with me? Or I could walk you home if you would prefer?” Dante said as he looked at her. The way the light breeze blew a few strands of her blonde hair with the flower in it and she had such a beautiful scent. He was falling hard for her! She looked so fragile and delicate, but he was pretty sure she wasn't as fragile when it came to training or missions! The delicate ones were the ones you had to watch out for, a giant could be taken down by a cricket if the cricket did the right moves. Horrible analogy, but you get the picture!
Dante patiently waited on her answer just looking at her and admiring the beauty that was standing before him.

Dante had enjoyed the time he spent with Kayori at the water gardens. She was a very kind and beautiful soul! The friendship they had forged meant a lot to Dante as he was trying to forge as many friendships as possible in Hoshigakure since he made this place his home! Even though Dante would not deny the fact that he had a crush on Kayori because she had a very beautiful soul that radiated about her. She was quite the individual! However Dante wouldn't expect anything to come of his crush. It would remain just that, a crush!
“It was nice meeting you Kayori, however I have things I need to take care of, maybe we can meet up again at some point!” Dante said as he smiled at the young lady before him. He lightly squeezed her hand as he said goodbye.
As soon as he left he headed back home to what he had dubbed, The Compound. Why? It had become quite the mixture of family and friends as of late! It wasn't just Hyuuga, it was also Uzumaki, Tau and Uchiha!
As he entered the house he was met with some maids who offered him a late dinner since he wasn't there when it was dinner time. Dante nodded as he headed upstairs to his room. He had kept a single water Lily because it reminded him of the beautiful young lady he had just met! As he said, it was just a crush, he preferred her friendship over anything and she was a very gentle kind hearted person. He could tell. As he changed his clothes Dante went downstairs and decided to eat his late dinner before he did some late night studying
