A Gentle Tutoring
Fri Aug 30, 2024 1:38 pm
The training facilities within Kirigakure allowed for far more personal training, the One-Eyed Hyuga walked into one of the many training rooms within one of the many buildings surrounding the plot of land. His sword quietly resting at his side, wearing only his black shirt and pants along with similarly colored sandals. Shiro’s eyes were relaxed, knowing fully well that he was here to potentially be a teacher instead of a trainee. He liked to wear informal clothing, the shirt clung comfortably to his well-trained body. Blue and green eyes stared at the clear windows, the sun slowly beginning to set on the Village hidden in murky mist. He’d wait for who was likely to be one of the trainees, having requested that his fellow Hyuga join him inside the facilities.

Time seemed to have stopped as everything around him appeared to be moving slower, a result of Sosuke's focus and concentration. The swordsman's stance was firm, the strikes of his blade swift and clean. Smooth and steady, such were the Hyuuga's principles during training. "Practice makes perfect". Even if it looked repetitive to the untrained eye, those who had truly grasped the essence of martial arts would understand. Fear not the man who has practiced ten thousand kicks once, but fear the man who has practiced one kick ten thousand times. It was a saying famous throughout all of history.
Although he had mastered the basics and the sword no longer held any more secrets from him, Sosuke became aware that his current skill level wasn't nearly enough to attain the steps necessary to be able and call himself a master of the blade. Confronted with, yet having accepted his limits, the Hyuuga set out and headed to the village's training grounds, hoping to gain a breakthrough of some sorts. Dressed in a usual fashion, a haori with a shirt underneath, his katana firmly on the side while the Kirigakure headband was tied around the Mist shinobi's left biceps, he eventually made his way to the intended destination.
Arriving at and entering the facilities, Sosuke noticed a familiar face standing in wait. "Young Master, I'm glad to see you here" the swordsman greeted his fellow Hyuuga as he walked towards Shiro, offering a slight bow upon addressing him.

Shiro’s attire was very casual in contrast to Sosuke’s own appearance. Yet both of them were users of the blade, and both of them were inside of the training facilities now. Sosuke’s addressing of Shiro as young master only made the white haired master smirk at the title. He was rather young, especially for being one of the village's top officials. Yet Shiro didn’t really mind the name. He bowed as well in respect to his fellow clan members. He returned back to his upright stance not a moment later.
“It’s good to see you, Sosuke. I liked how you conducted yourself back near the mansion, impressive work,” Shiro complimented. His eyes flashed a glint of pride in the fact that it was a fellow Hyuuga member that conducted himself so professionally. It contrasted his other relatives from the Yuki clan, full of cold indifference and pompous attitudes. Even if he was guilty of similar attitudes when facing down opponents. However, Shiro had far different plans in regards to being in the training facility with a fellow Hyuuga. He noted how Sosuke conducted himself, confidence that had a hint of ambition to it as he entered into the facility. He knew very well that ambition had to be honed, similar to that of a finely crafted sword. However, now it was the time to train, just as he had done with his sister before him.
“Might I be able to test your swordsmanship? It’s been so long since I’ve crossed blades with a fellow clan member. For a place that prides itself on having seven swordsmen of the mist, I haven’t come across many that actually wield a sword.”
Shiro wanted to see Sosuke’s reaction. He stood 4 meters directly away from his fellow clan member. His hand grasped the handle of his sword, staring down Sosuke with a glint of intrigue in his eyes. It was a chance to test his own skills against a fellow clan member, and whether or not he could hone his own craft within the training grounds. His eyes however did not change, keeping his byakugan deactivated unless necessary.
