The 3rd Puppet

Gorou stood in his family basement looking at his blueprints for his newest puppet, "Hades." This was his most difficult puppet he'd ever attempted to piece together. He wanted this puppet to be useful in offense, defense, and supplementary skills. This was a tough puppet to create, considering he didn't have all the parts he needed to finish it. Most importantly he needed one if not both of the clawed devices belonging to the Demon Brothers of the Hidden Mist. He knew what he needed, he just didn't know how to get them. Gorou ignored the subject for the moment and focused on finishing as much of the puppet as he could. So far he had built the basic body, and had made a few adjustments for weapon use. The mouth of the puppet had two compartments. Each compartment served its own purpose in combat. The first was that the jaw of the mouth opened three ways, giving it easy access to launch many senbon at a vicious and deadly speed all at the same time. The second function of the mouth was the unique tongue made of a special metal that was basically indestructible, and the chain link was bladed when activated. The only disadvantage to the tongue was that it didn't have quite enough range for long range combat. Hopefully the puppet would be strong enough to the point where the range wouldn't be too much of a flaw. The left forearm was designed to hold and launch multiple kunai with explosive tags attached to them. Useful for long range techniques all he had to do was make the sign with a free hand to cause them to explode. Finally the right arm. Gorou installed some cables in the right arm making it able to extend and retract at will. This would also be the arm that would have the clawed device once he had it. It would be a tough journey looking for this weapon but if he found it, it would vastly improve his new puppet. But that would have to wait for now. The mass amount of senbon he had, had been soaking in some of his homemade poison, and were ready to be placed into the correct component. Gorou had to put on gloves for safety precautions. The poison wasn't deadly, but it did paralyze on contact causing what ever limb it hit to become completely useless. The senbon were all in place and ready to be used. Next was the left arm. He placed the tagged kunai into the correct sockets. The left arm, unlike the mouth, could only fire off single rounds and was a bit slower than the senbon. The advantage to this was that the explosive tags had a wide range area to hit the target. Since Gorou was almost finished with the puppet, he decided to take it out for a test run. He lifted the lifeless machine and walked outside. He sat the puppet down and put a hand out. His chakra strings jumped straight for the puppet but nothing happened. It was strange because Gorou was use to using only one hand when it came to his puppetry. However this puppet was proving to be much stronger than his other puppets. He placed a second hand out and his other five chakra strings shot into the puppet, giving it life. Gorou could feel his chakra draining slowly. He was having a hard time maintaining his threads, this wasn't good. He tried to use one of the puppets weapns, he raised his index finger and slowly but surely the puppet's left hand rose. Gorou then twichted his left thumb causing the left arm compartment to open and fire a kunai. "At least it doesn't take too much chakra to fire the weapons." he thought to himself. This was a good sign. He released his chakra strings and the puppet went lifeless. He then grabbed the kunai from tree that it had hit and placed it back into the left arm. He sat down next to the puppet and inspected it a bit more. This was definitely the strongest puppet he had made so far, yet the chakra it took just to make the puppet move caused Gorou to become exhausted and slow. Once he had all the parts he would have to train with it more but for now it would serve as a fall back puppet incase he really needed to use it. Gorou walked back down to his basement with the new puppet. He added a few finishing touches; some armor, and painted it. Then finally placed a long dark robe over it making its face disappear in darkness, with sleeves long enough to cover both of its arms. Now all he needed was that clawed device, making his puppet complete. He then went over to his fathers desk and took out three medium sized scrolls. He would use these to easily transfer the puppets on his journey to come. He transferred the first two puppets to the two green scrolls, then his ultimate puppet to a black scroll with a red symbol on it. He then took the scrolls with him to his room. He needed to get his rest, for tomorrow was a new day to set out on his journey to find that last part.
