Hidden in the Leaves of the Forest. (PRIVATE)

Navi sat in a tree listening to the sounds of the trees around him. At times he would take walks around the village, just to patrol the area or think to himself. This time was no different, the sun shone through the leaves of the tall trees and spilled dimly onto the ground.

Navi himself was only 14 but he was a shinobi genius. He was on the cusp of being promoted to Jounin and there were rumors in the leaf hierarchy of making him a member of the Anbu Black Ops. He was characterized by the two swords sheathed on his back and his crimson hair that gently flowed in the breeze.

Navi was simply staring off into the darkness of the forest when he heard something. To be cautious, Navi replaced himself with a crow clone in a blink of an eye and the real him hid high up in the trees, entirely concealed by leaves.
His clone was solid and sat in the same place. Watching and listening intently.

Saru walked along, rather distant from the village of Konohagakure. He was a few miles away, another shinobi, a chuunin named Navi was nearby aswell, though Saru hadn't known it. Saru was sure there would be some following after him, however, Navi and Saru had been the only two in the area, the next person being a mile away, or so. The darkness around the forest was created by Saru himself, he had walked above the darkness and into the tree tops.


Soon enough, Saru had gotten closer to the one known as Navi, again not knowing it. Navi had walked into the darkness of the forest, Saru being above him, by not too much, but to the point where the light hit him, and there was no darkness around him. He looked down, as the one who was known as Navi wondered the forest, though Saru unaware, it hadn't been the real one. Though Saru had still been above the real one, far above. The darkness below him which would become solid at his command, "Why, hello there, how are you this rather fine day?" He asked, unaware he was speaking to a clone of the real Navi, "What's your name?" He asked the one known as Navi, due to the fact that he had not known the shinobi's real name.

Navi's clone breathed a sigh of relief. Everything seemed to be silent in the forest right now.

"Why, hello there, how are you this rather fine day?" Someone asked.

In that instant all of Navi's senses came online. There was someone above him, and the darkness he was seeing wasn't natural, it was coming from a singular point. Navi's clone hopped up the length of the trees until he was face to face with this new shinobi. He couldn't spot a headband on the man and assumed he was a rogue ninja. The real Navi remained entirely concealed and silent, making absolute certain not to go near the darkness. What sort of power is that? He wondered.

"What's your name?" he asked. Navi's clone paused before taking in a breath. "My name is Navi Yamaki of the Leaf Village, and you are?"

Navi didn't let his guard down or take his eyes off the man for a second. He had an uneasy feeling about him.

Saru sighed, he listened to the apparent clone would tell Saru the shinobi's name. The darkness below continuing to spread, all around, it would reach above surrounding pretty much three hundred feet, minus a small circle for the man and the clone were in. He could hear mostly everything in the very silent forest, the darkness surrounded the silent forest, the darkness that would go solid at his command. "I am Saru."

Navi's clone walked up to Saru until there was less then a meter between them. He was manipulating the black cloud around them somehow. Navi himself was still watching closely, staying well out of the way of the dark cloud and observing silently.

Navi's clone sighed and a slight smile parted his lips. "Saru huh? So your a rogue ninja then." Navi's clone's gaze didn't flinch or even blink. "Your awful close to the leaf village aren't you, what's stopping me from killing you right now?" Navi's clone said this half-playfully and half seriously. A rogue ninja of any kind was dangerous, and fighting without the intent to kill against them was useless. Navi knew that when fighting a rogue ninja, you have to fight by their rules. Its kill or be killed. With the real Navi completely safe and out of range from his vantage point, Navi's clone dangled his hand next to his kunai pouch and was ready to hop into action at any moment.

'Saru huh? So you're a rouge nin then?' He listened as the shinobi's clone had said that, he sighed, thinking that this would have to lead to another fight. The darkness would go over head, making it even if the man would run, he would be caught up in his darkness. He would attempt to wrap his darkness around the apparent clone of the shinobi, at his command the darkness would become solid. "If you would call a few miles close to Konoha, then yeah I guess I am a tad bit close to Konoha..." he said, replying tot he clone after it had said, then he had heard the part of 'What's stopping me from killing you?' Saru had somewhat wished to kill this one, the darkness around the clone, and the darkness around the small circle around the two had become to a point where it would be impossible to see through. Blades formed in the darkness around the two, circling the three hundred feet of darkness, even throwing some out at the random person outside of the darkness. "Well.. if you wouldn't mind. I shall leave now." he said, beginning to walk into the darkness, a small object would appear, walls on the side about the size of Saru when he would sit down, and a floor on the object for him to sit down in. He sighed, knowing the blades he manip'd through the darkness wouldn't hit Saru.

A few miles huh? I think that's close enough. The man had now made the dark cloud circling around them extremely thick, Navi was safe from any random attacks, but he was cut off from visual contact. I need to end this now, I can't wait for him to strike first. Navi began to build up his chakra.

"Well.. if you wouldn't mind. I shall leave now." Navi's clone sighed. "I'm afraid its too late, you can't leave." Saru was in point-blank range, and as he turned around to enter the darkness he was manipulating, Navi made his move.

Navi couldn't see through the mist and therefore decided he was going to use his ace in the hole. "Katon: Ryuka no Jutsu!" In a large plume of flame, Navi attempted to engulf Saru. Saru would have to be faster then him to evade the attack, otherwise it would incinerate him completely. Navi was sure he had just killed Saru, and took a deep breath as he relaxed his body and slumped against the trunk of the tree.

[13:35:47] @ Zachariah : Like, if a jutsu that does not poison or anything gives you a minor cut

[13:36:30] @ Zachariah : Like, let's say it was merely a paper cut leve injury

[13:36:46] @ Zachariah : *level

[13:36:49] Navi : yes

To end this horrible BS: Navi did not dodge, he is safe in that he only got the equivalent of a paper cut from the attack. The clone, however, canot explode seeing as it was made with crow clone, not clone explosion.

Saru sighed, as the darkness around the clone turned solid, he had then used his darkness to drag the clone away from him. A back side to his little flying chair would form, and he would make his leave, away from Konohagakure, yet another place where he had been unwanted. Meanwhile, his swords hit once, sliding side ways across the faces of Navi, though only a paper, it was across the eyes, which would do some what little damage, possibly ruining one of the eyes. He would make his exit now, with his true opponent far away, no sensory would be able to find him while he waited in his darkness, he would be untrackable at this point. [EXIT.]

Navi was to far away to catch up and was therefore useless to do anything but watch from far away in this fight. His clone, who was binded by solid shadow and was being dragged away was closer. The solidified mist had completely binded his body and would be unable to use jutsu for lack of being able to move his arms. The mist itself was very weak, it wouldn't be able to withstand any powerful ninjutsu. However, in this state he wouldn't be able to use strength to get free. The only way out was if he could break out of the solidification surrounded by powerful chakra. He would need to perform a jutsu without using his hands, and remain surrounded by chakra so that the darkness could't solidify around him without breaking.

Now it's time for my Kekkei Genkai. Navi's clone activated his Raven Style technique, an A-rank technique which surrounds the user with powerful chakra. While surrounded by this Kekkei Genkai he could fly, and was surrounded by a thick aura of dense chakra. A dense enough chakra that Navi's clone could use to break out of the solidified mist trap and break through any more of it that was in his path. Navi's Clone used his wings and much faster speed to catch up to Saru, now the only task that remained was finding him in the large cloud. Raven style not only surrounded him with an aura of chakra that this mist wouldn't be able to act against, but it granted him a boost in chakra. With this extra chakra Navi's clone flew back and forth through the cloud Saru was in, blowing a constant flamethrower with his Dragon Fire Jutsu. Saru was somewhere in this cloud, and his plume of flame would hit and incinerate Saru eventually.
