The Party

Viper sighs, he whispers back, "If you wanted to talk all you had to do was ask, not burn Kurisu's house down.." Vipers gets up, he accepts Navi's advice, it is good to have friends that have your back, he walks over to Akina once more, "Yeah sorry about that" he chuckles nervously, "Shall we get back to the party?" he waits for her response and if she agrees he leads her back inside the house where a more party esque music is playing designed to bring up the mood once more, Viper views the many drinks laid out at the bar, "You want one Akina?" Viper asks ready to go retrieve her drink of choice.

Akina's hackles were raised a little as fire began to come from Navi, and then Viper quickly sprang into action. Her body quickly tensed and she thought about stopping her friend from burning the house down, but the Hokage seemed to have everything handled. She smiled despite the Hokage's displeasure.

As he spoke, Akina nodded, allowing him to take her hand. "Let's go back to the party." As they sat down to the bar, the Hokage asked if she preferred anything. At first, the girl contemplated shaking her head, but then she remembered the taste of sake. "I would like another sake shot, please, Viper-sama." She was surprised that she would be drinking with the leader of her village, but she was learning how to just accept things.

Viper looks towards the bar, noone seems to be behind it Kurisu running off a while ago, Viper instead helps himself, he grabs two Sake glasses from behind the bar and a large bottle, he pours each of them a shit and puts the bottle next to them should they want more, he takes his glass softly between his left index finger and thumb, he makes a slight toasting motion towards her before drinking his shot.

A serious smirk is on Akina's lips. "Are you challenging me Viper-sama? I never back down or give up!" Her eyes flashed determinedly. There was a half-joking laugh that echoed into the air. She toasted the Hokage and said simply, "Kanpai!" The fiery liquid slid down her throat a little more easily than the first time, but the burn hadn't changed. The cup thunked heavily on the counter top, and Akina realized she had drank the alcohol in a way that was common for the men to do.

There was a slight blush on her face as she realized what she had done. "S-sorry...it's been nice getting to know you, and I hope when we go back to our normal lives that we can find time to be around each other." Her heart pounded, and her head buzzed slightly.

It seems she is loosening up a bit, Viper can hear it in her voice, "Oh? Then lets see who can last the longest!" Viper begins pouring them another glass the challenge set for the girl, he watches proudly as she had downed her first cup.

Viper hears her question as he reaches for his second glass, "I'll make sure of it," He says with a soft smile, motion is glass for a toast once more this time waiting for her to meet his glass with hers.
Sadly it does not seem that either of them will remember this night to the fullest, but it can not be said that they will not remember the other ones face allowing for future events.

Navi sat in the backround and smiled. He was happy to have restarted the party. Now that Akina and Viper had gone back to casual drinking, the rest of the party guests seemed to as well. Viper seemed to realize that Akina was a little more free spirited and willing to party then one might think. His advice had definitely paid off. "Kanpai" Navi whispered along, raising his glass as Akina raised hers, then tossing the sake to the back of his throat when they did.

Akina chuckled lightly as the Hokage poured her a second cup of sake. "Good, I'm glad you'll make sure of it." Her voice was somewhat louder than normal. She raised her glass slightly as she toasted Viper and Navi with ease. Quickly, she drained the second glass, egging the Hokage on. There was a serious gleam in her silver eyes despite a headache starting to form in the base of her skull.

The glasses connect, Viper in unison with the three tosses the drink to the back of his throat, an "ah" escapes his lips as he puts the glass back on the counter with a soft clunk, "That hit the spot!" Viper says his voice a little louder, he notes the serious look in her eye, she is certainly a fun one, Viper pours them a third glass afterwards and grasps it, another toast follows as he downs the next cup.

Akina's cheeks felt warm from the sake, and Viper had quickly poured her another cup. Her left hand shook the bottle gently. It was a somewhat heavy bottle, but the liquid within the bottle seemed to be little. Her right hand lifted the cup to her lips, and the cup was quickly drained. The world seemed to spin slightly, but the girl had no intention of backing down; she even managed to keep her head held high and a smile on her face.

Viper smirks when she downs the next glass, it is almost unfair, the girls eyes look glassed over showing the sake is taking effect, Viper on the other hand has had his special Sake already which has already put him at the drunk level, his body more or less on auto pilot so this basic Sake does nothing to him for the most part aside from making it so he crashes that much harder, he pours the next glass, Viper remains his composure through his auto pilot, he smirks more at the girl as a taunt, yet another glass is injested by the Hokage as he watches his opponet so see if she dares continue.
