Patrol Mission from thread http://naruto-role-play-rpg.forumotion.com/t10631-few-d-ranked-missions :
Sanji walked out the front gate of his home village, quietly beginning to traverse the area around the village. He started near the walls, looking for anything suspicious. It didn't take him long before he found what appeared to be footprints in an area where people didn't normally go. It could very well have been from a mason or someone like that simply inspecting the outskirts and seeing if anything needed repairs, but he took note of this nonetheless. His pace, however, turned a bit more brisk without trying to seem too obvious as he worked his way concentrically around the village. To his surprise he found a trap that was set outside the village using 2 explosive tags and ninja wire connected to two trees. He carefully dismantled the trap and injected chakra into the tags while crumpling them in his hand to disable them permanently. It didn't take long for him to find more of them and more footprints. Someone was definitely sneaking about out here and setting traps to try and hurt someone who was patrolling just like he was now. He made sure to explore carefully to make sure there were no more traps out here. He didn't want to hear about an innocent civilian out here getting hurt or killed because he missed a trap.
Sanji then spotted the culprit in question finishing the set up of another trap. Before he could stop him, the ninja quickly body flickered away. Sanji dismantled the last trap with a growl and crushed the last two exploding tags in his hand before quickly moving back into the village to report what he saw. No sooner than he started talking to a jounin about it an ANBU member appeared beside him." Tell me what you saw." says the masked ninja."I was outside the village doing my patrol when I first came across footprints just outside the eastern wall. I didn't really think much of it initially as it could've very well been a stone mason or someone like that checking the perimeter for any need of repairs. I couldn't tell from where I was, but it looked like he had a forehead protector depicting the insignia of stone. Again, I didn't get a good look, but that's what I thought I saw, so it might be a good idea for us to keep a greater view of our perimeter." he says in response. The ANBU member nodded and said," I'll look into it." before disappearing.
With that, Sanji nodded his regards to the jounin and walked off to collect payment for his completed mission.

Thief in the village from thread http://naruto-role-play-rpg.forumotion.com/t10631-few-d-ranked-missions :
After receiving his mission, Sanji left the Hokage's chambers and went to the places where the thief, or thieves, had struck last. Stopping at the first house, he asked for a recount of what was stolen, what time it might've taken place, and he looked for any clues that may lead to him recognizing a culprit. Clues were few and far between but as he continued his way down the line of houses that had been robbed he got a good grasp on the culprit's modus operandi and just what sort of items he went in for.
As nightfall came, Sanji was concealed in a high place where he could see many streets throughout the residential district being hit by these robberies. It was a longer stakeout than he'd have liked to undergo, waiting nearly 6 hours before he saw some suspicious activity. He waited for something concrete so no denials could be made. As the fellow broke in via a window with his buddy outside keeping a lookout, Sanji formed the seal of the ram and focused his chakra to allow a quick egress down to stand right in front of the thief who broke in inside the house. He quickly covered his mouth and subdued him by rendering him unconscious with a chokehold. Then he made his way to the window again and simply reached right out the window with a hard right hand right across the jaw of the other thief.
After that Sanji alerted the homeowner who was to be robbed that the robbery had been averted, but told them to check for missing goods just to be sure. When it was found that the only problem was the broken lock on the window, he nodded, scooped up his two suspects, and took them away to the interrogation center where they would be held until they could be coerced into divulging the details of their crimes and allow for recovery of the stolen items if possible.
Sanji walked from the place and went to report his success to a groggy chuunin on duty and get his reward.

Cleaning from thread http://naruto-role-play-rpg.forumotion.com/t10631-few-d-ranked-missions :
The village was indeed looking worse for wear, so Sanji didn't mind at all the task of having to clean it up. He saw it as an opportunity for training as well, and getting paid for training worked out just fine in his mind. He ran along with haste, a bag in his hand, picking up whatever garbage he found lying along the streets of Konoha. It proved to be taxing on one's stamina as well, considering how large the village actually is when one is criss-crossing the streets, picking up whatever trash may be along the way. He went back for another bag and continued to clean up arrant refuse lying along the streets.
Doing this sort of made him annoyed in a way, was it really so hard to simply toss your refuse into the proper receptacle? He loved the people in his home village but that was still borderline unforgivable. When he saw a grown man with a child throwing trash on the ground, he walked up, picked up the trash and glared at him." Please don't influence this child to pick up your bad habits. You're lucky he's here or I'd shove it down your throat." The man became belligerent and yelled back " Oh yeah?! Don't let that stop you, kid!" he says. Sanji calmly picked up a conveniently placed piece of lumber from a carpenter's saw horse nearby, held it up as he looked the man in the eye, and then threw a stiff right hand at it with lightning speed and force. So much force that not only did the piece of lumber break, it literally shattered into splinters. The man's eyes went wide and he quickly began to backpedal." Alright you win, I'm outta here you freak!"
Sanji bowed to the carpenter and fished into his wallet for some ryo for the lumber. The carpenter smiled and waved him off." Nonsense, Sanji. Wood is cheap and easy to come by. Besides you've helped me greatly in the past, saved my life probably back when we were all working on the village gate. Remember? I was on that scaffolding that almost collapsed until you stopped it. Oh and... classy way to handle that imbecile, too. I just hope I'm never on your bad side." said the carpenter with a laugh. Sanji chuckled too and knelt down." It was effective... but now I have to clean up this wood..." he said.
Sanji worked dilligently until all the broken wood was collected, and he even offered to haul away some of the carpenter's refuse for the trouble. When he got rid of the last few bags, he went off to collect his payment.

Helping the Academy from thread http://naruto-role-play-rpg.forumotion.com/t10631-few-d-ranked-missions :
Sanji stood before the academy, looking up at it with thoughts going back to the old days when he was here, reminiscing about his time here. It could've been more pleasant, but it wasn't that horrible. When he walked inside he was greeted by one of the chuunin teachers." Hello, Sanji. We just wanted to ask an experienced genin like yourself to come in and talk to the students about what it means to be a genin. A lot of them mock the rank and think that genins are just errand boys. So, if you would, please set them straight because someday they'll fulfill that role themselves."
With a nod, Sanji was led to the classroom and immediately he heard the jeers of the children. The teacher raised his hand and his voice, taking a moment to finally get order." This is Sanji Sanada, a genin and your senpai, now... He's going to tell you about what it means to be a genin. Sanji? Please begin."
Sanji nodded once more and looked with that deadpan expression out at the kids, hearing one say " What's the matter? Did your brain not grow with the rest of you?" He looked at the kid with a grimace." Cute. Anyway, as the teacher said my name is Sanji Sanada and I am a genin. I've heard that you believe the sole purpose of genin is merely to do odd jobs around the village. In reality, there are many duties that come with the rank, and that one duty is just one small part of it. To tell you the truth I'd much rather clean up garbage or pull weeds than have to hurt or kill others who have lost their way. But sadly it hardly breaks down to be like that. I've been on quite a few missions where the only recourse was to kill. Make no mistake I am willing to do whatever it takes to complete a mission, but you should never grow comfortable with killing. There are jounin who still feel sick after assassination missions even though they've killed many times before. Some people get used to it and some people don't. I guess what I'm trying to say is... that you shouldn't mock a shinobi because they're not undertaking the most glamorous missions. You should be thankful to that shinobi for protecting you when you sleep at night, and you all should look forward to the day when you are full-fledged ninjas yourselves, and are able to do that for the generation that will come after you."
The kids looked on with wide eyes, some of them seeming to go into a moment of reflection. This caused the teacher to smile." Thank you, Sanji. That was perfect. I'll put in the word that you completed your mission successfully." Sanji nodded in thanks and walked toward the door. He heard a thank-you spoken in unison and smiled lightly. He wasn't sure how convincing he was, but it felt good to get that off his chest either way.

Onbaa from thread http://naruto-role-play-rpg.forumotion.com/t10702-d-missions :
Sanji read the file about the mission, and it brought up some questions in his mind. Was it really so bad that a baby animal was loose in the village? He knew of the legend of Onbaa but it still seemed like a grand exaggeration. Nevertheless, it was his duty to clear this little issue up, and it didn't take long since he was headed to Ichiraku Ramen to eat before he set out on this endeavor. He heard a scream as he approached the noodle stand and saw the chef run out of the stand. Inside he saw a baby animal ravenously eating sticks of naruto." Onbu! Onbu!" said the little creature. Sanji's brow furrowed as he watched this display." It's so cute... How could I ever hope to raise a hand to uproot such a beautiful creature? It defies logic how anyone could be frightened of something that seems so harmless and gentle." As Sanji stood there with his arms crossed in thought, the creature jumped on him.
He gasped and quickly put his arms out, grunting as claws scratched at his bare chest, the animal was quickly trying to climb onto his back! He looked with shock as he genuinely struggled with all his natural strength to fend off the creature's pursuit." What the...? S-Strong...!" he says. Finally he managed to get the creature at arm's length. Even with the struggle, he knew that the creature had merely lost its mother and sought a surrogate. He, however couldn't be that surrogate, he just had too much to do these days. Villagers gaped and screamed as Sanji held the Onbu over his head and ran for the gate, still fighting against its efforts to get on his back. His eyes opened wide as the creature began to urinate, and he tilted his head to one side, but his cloak was soon soaked." That wasn't funny..." he says.
Even still, he would somehow try to find its real mother, which would prove to be a real chore as he had the whole countryside to search. Roars in the distance affirmed what he thought, and there was one angry mother on the loose. Bravely he charged forward, running with impressive haste while still trying to keep the creature at arm's length so it didn't latch onto him. A bittersweet wish would soon come true as the enraged mother jumped down from a large tree and attempted to strike him with her large fist. He rolled to the side while gently leaving the baby Onbaa on the ground at her feet. Wincing lightly he gets to his feet, looking for a course of action should the assault continue.
To his delight, however, the baby climbed up the mother's leg and latched onto her back. The mother regarded him with little more than an annoyed snort before leaping into the trees." Whew... that was close..." he says to himself. For that brief stint of trouble, he still kind of admired the little creature." So cute..." he thinks, and walks home all the way, the big, tenderhearted genin, already sort of missing the little fellow. If not for it being a source of hardship and the danger the animal would be in, he would've thought seriously about keeping it around. He walked back, still smelling of Onbaa urine, and before he went to the office to collect his reward, he went home and took a bath, as well as cleaned his cloak.

Supply Run from thread http://naruto-role-play-rpg.forumotion.com/t10631-few-d-ranked-missions :
Sanji walked to the village gate after receiving his mission, it seemed easy enough, but the Hokage seemed convinced that he was the best genin for the job. Too convinced. Sanji was left to wonder just what that meant exactly as he exited the village and went off to the location in question to retrieve the supplies he was instructed to get. When he arrived he saw why he came so highly recommended for this job, and it was a favor to avoid having to pay for that training dummy he obliterated the day before.
He looked at the supplies and grimaced. Sure, it'd be nice for training but heavy masonry and tools to boot? This would be a job and a half. Figuring it was a waste of time to sit around whining about it, he yoked up the rickshaw and used himself as the beast of burden. The wheels barely rolled because of all the weight on them, and what was worse the trail led uphill. Sanji grunted and strained as he slowly trudged up the hill, his broad shoulders enveloped in the straps from the makeshit yoke he prepared to avoid having to grasp the rods with his hands for anything other than steering the rickshaw itself.
Every few steps he had to stop, hold position, and kick a troublesome rock out of the way, all the while being careful not to let the rickshaw tip over." This is what I get for trying to be sneaky..." he thought. Sweat poured down his face and over his broad, bare chest, the sun's warmth practically mocking him. When at last he reached the top of the hill, he dropped to one knee and panted. It was a grueling task to say the least.
Sanji hadn't really paid attention, but when he looked at the path ahead it was another 500 feet of uphill terrain at least. And it was steep. Very steep. After catching his breath he undertook the herculean task, his muscles rippling with every grueling step. He again had to kick away rocks that would obstruct the wheels on the rickshaw, delaying him that much further. When at long last he reached his destination the mason came out to greet him." Only one of you? You managed to bring this back by yourself?! You really do have unnatural strength!" Sanji just looked at him with a furrowed brow as he panted and unyoked himself from the rickshaw before setting the supplies out in the yard in front of the mason's shop. His eyes cast back to the man and he said," Can I have some water?" The mason smiled and nodded," The well's around back." Sanji walked around there as casually as he could, trying to save face, but it was no use. He quickly wound the bucket back up from the well and began chugging water directly from it. He drank for a solid moment before gasping for air and going back for more. The second bucket managed to quench his raging thirst for now.
Sanji got the letter from the mason signifying a successfully completed mission, and began on the journey back." Somehow I still don't think our accounts are balanced, Hokage-sama..." he says with a sigh. Perhaps he deserved it, but one thing was for sure, it sort of hurt to be typecast as a brainless monster.
