Dawn of A New Day(invite only NK)

It was a pleasant sunrise and a even more pleasant day for the young ninja, Syaoron Lybris, who would awaken on top of his rooftop, after gazing at the stars like he usually does. Today would mark his 16th day of training this month and he wanted it to make it special. Jumping into his window, he would being to grab his blank and red pants and his black sleeveless shirt, as he looked into his mirror sitting on his dresser. Yawning and scractching his head, he would being to put the black bandages onto his arms and feet, carefully with precision and grace, before grabbing his backpack filled with numerous slivers of paper and bandages as he threw on his cloak. Walking downstairs, he would notice his parents were not up, which gave him the perfect opportunity to head towards the mountains, where he would begin his training. Walking through the streets of kumogakure was interesting to see the the early morning life that people led. Reaching the village gates, he would begin to do his usual morning jog to the mountains. Jumping from tree to tree and then to the ground, he would constantly challenge himself, often throwing small paper needles at the trees to see if he could hit them at a decent speed, something he was getting good at really fast.

He would finally arrive at the mountains, a place of tranquility, and also a place where no one hardly came to this early. he would begin to gather logs, sticks, and rocks anything he could hang, as he used the black bandages to hang them up for target practice. Upon putting all of his targets up he would step back and blindfold himself, making sure he could see the targets. Spinning twice, he would begin to first use real shurikens, placed in the lower pouch of his backpack as he tried to aim at the logs. Taking a deep breathe he would begin to throw them, anticipating where the wind would take the shuriken, allowing him to hit the middle of the log. This was something he was taught during his training by his father. A swift clink could be heard as the shurikens would hit there mark, lifting the blindfold he would see that he hit every target except one, sighing he would look towards it," Ahh man i thought i had that one, looks like i read the wind wrong again. Oh well, looks like i have more training to do then, someday i will hit these targets without fail," he said as he pulled out a couple pieces of paper and began to fold them into little paper dogs.

Hybris would already have been at the location aforementioned by Lybris, though on what seemed to be the other side of the mountainous plateau, seeming to fight off a multitude of her own clones. The first clone would jump over her, congealing the sunlight from above in the high morning and casting over a momentary shadow before the real Hybris would jump upward with a spinning heelkick, slamming the clone directly in the face and sending it flying toward Lybris` current location. A second clone would team up with a third clone and throw a combination punch and kick toward Hybris, the first hitting the skullcap on top of her head, which would accordingly deflect, Hybris catching the fist thrown by the other clone by the wrist and thrusting it into the other clone's face before landing and initiating a spinning heeldrop in a circular motion, both tripping and destroying the two present clones.

The final two remaining clones rushed at Hybris, one spurring forth ten drilling bullets created from the fingertips of the clone, which bolted at Hybris at deft speeds. Noticing the tactic behind the clones prominent attacking pattern, she once more utilized the skullcap laying on top of her head and dove forward in a spinning motion, deflecting the bullets and sending them back to the clone accordingly. Dodging, the clone jumped onto the shoulders of the other remaining clone, whom concurrently grabbed the hands of the clone and did a front flip, launching the clone toward Hybris with his fist held outward in an attempt to strike Hybris in the face. Quickly reacting to the probability of his attack, she quickly weighed out the possibility of defense or offense, though ultimately utilized his speed by jumping to the side slightly, brushing against the clone as it reached her, throwing down and elbow and slamming the clone in the back of the neck. Such an attack would otherwise break the neck of any other opponent, though seeing as how it was a clone, it would simply poof away.

The last clone had already just about reached Hybris, throwing two consecutive punches toward the face of Hybris, one of which she dodges, the second hitting her shoulder and knocking her back briefly, though the force hadn't stopped her from throwing a three-piece attack directly at the chest of the clone, which would momentarily stun the enemy through disruption in the breathing pattern and lung function. Taking advantage of the brief pause, Hybris dropped onto the ground in preparation of an attack, thrusting a kick upward which would accordingly slam into the jaw of the clone and sending it airborne. Finishing off the attacking sequence, she jumped into the air and activated the Dance of the Willow, accordingly bringing forth a series of bone-like spear fragments around the body of Hybris. She would spin in a dancing ballerina-like fashion, slicing, cutting and rending the flesh off of the clone, doing so to any rational able-bodied ninja would have both cut the flesh from bone, and broken the bones accordingly at her present strength level.

Regardless, the minute training session was over, Hybris landing with a dust cloud presenting itself around her as the particles settled onto the ground around her. Huffing almost desperately, she strained to catch her breath and sat down, smiling. "Ah.. I'm getting better. There is no doubt about that." The sweeping winds burrowed and brewed into a light stormlike blow, brushing the sea-green hair about the head of the young ninja. Wiping a small portion of sweat from her eyebrow, she pressed against her head, hoping that she would soon become stronger than she used to be before - striving for vengeance against the mist village, Kirigakure.

Syaoran would finally finish his last paper dog, giving it a bit of life as it moved around. He would look towards the sky and give a nice smile at the way the sunrise would come up at start his early morning. he would begin to make a flower as he saw something flying at him, at first he was confused until he could see it more clearly. From his point of view, it seemed like a body hurling towards him. Without thinking he would instinctivly, jump back and roll out of the way, quickly pulling out small slivers of paper as he looked around cautiously for what or who sent the body his way. Looking at it as it layed in a small crater, it would seem like a body until it poofed away," It is a..clone, you dont see that everyday in the mountains, or people for that matter, but who's is thi-," his sentence was cut short as someone came down fighting what looked like more clones.

As Syaoraon continued to watch, he would finish his bouquet of paper flowers, he would watch this mysterious individual fight, now that he good a good look, he would now notice it was a...female. His face would turn red as he would put his cloak on. He did not being around females because of his little shy streak, not being able to talk to them for even a moment. As he girl finished off the last of her clones, and speak, he would nervously, yet cautiously walk up to her," You..your very strong, just what. ahem are you doing in a secluded place like this, oh im... i ma Syaoran Lybris, but just call me Lybris... or Syaoran if you prefer," he said nervously. He did not have any skills in talking to women but this was a good start. He would begin to zip his backpack up as he took off his hood to get a better look at her for a moment, his brown and clear blues eyes scanning over her, remaining cautious just in case she attacked.

Hybris would look over to the boy as he approached her. Scanning his body, she could tell he was nervous already, shaking lightly - seemingly at the least of the sight of her. Smiling, she'd stand up as he complimented her, saying that she was very strong. The boy seemed to be of equal measures compared to Hybris, looking up at the sky as she meandered to him lazily. Continuing, she was also asked by him why she had been up here at this time of day, especially in an area so secluded. The clouds around them brushed the faces of the two, moisture slowly being felt by the clouds, followed by an all too human chill.

She'd brush the hair from her face, smiling at him as the maroon tattoo on the face of the small girl lifted from the smile. "Thank you for your kind compliment.. I am here.. Training, if you would be so dubious as to realize." She'd listen as he spoke his name and identified himself. Though she hadn't seen a headband on his person anywhere, she assumed that he was an Academy Student. Though she had been one about two days prior, she had graduated promptly and become a Genin, brightly flashing the Genin by fashioning it on her waistband which laid loose on her waist beyond the breaches of her green kimono. "It is more than a pleasure to meet you, Lybris.. Ironically, my name is Hybris. I am among the Kinkotsu no Kaguya clan.. And if I may ask.. What is it you are doing up here? Its not too often I find another soul on the training grounds." All the while as she spoke, smiling, trying to make him feel more comfortable around her.

Syaoran would look at her while she talked, her words being true that she was a genin, although he had only been in the academy for only.. a week now which did not seem odd to him. Listening to her speak about her clan he would begin to make a paper crane almost effortlessly, until she smiled at him, he would them turn red, but compose himself to look more composed, finally speaking normally," I come up here every early morning to do a little target practice and train, but all of my training is for my genin exam which i will be taking soon. I also come from a clan, the Koutashi clan. The view here is amazing when the sun rises so after my target practice, i watch it then continue my training," he said as he scratched his head with a small laugh.

It was not often that Lybris would talk to a girl, but talking to hybris made it feel a little easy, he would turn around to see the sun rising as he looked towards Hybris again," Do you see how beautiful it is, Hybris, the beauty of what the world has to offer us is much like a piece of paper, endless possibilities, i know its alot to ask but would you like to train with me, i do not know much but i know the basics of my clans technique's maybe you could help me improve, he said as he scratched the back of his showing his seal on the back of his neck. If everything went smoothly, he would be able to at least better himself for his upcoming genin exam..

Hybris would be astounded by the philosophy he had on life and the naturalistic ways of it as a whole. Sensitivity brushed throughout the area and it felt like a weight could have been lifted from the shoulders of the two as the ice was accordingly broken, each one possibly becoming more comfortable around each other. "Interesting.. I used to train on a mountain similar to this, but that was before I became a Genin two days ago.. It was high time I took on a different training spectacle. Though I must say, I agree with you.. The sight from here is absolutely breathtaking." She'd smile at him, cocking her head to the left slightly in a cute manner.

Hybris rarely ever talked after the massacre of the Kaguya clan just three years ago.. But she felt abnormally comfortable around this boy. Unsure as to why, she shrugged and blew it off. Regardless, she zoned in on reality as he suggested a possible training partner. Slightly objectified, she'd stand and walk about three paces to the left of her current location, prominently about ten feet from Lybris` location. She was actually unsure as to what type of skill he possessed - however, as he talked about paper and noticed the paper crane he had created, she utilized her heightened state of intellect and came to the conclusion that he used paper as a primary weapon in combat. Being herself, she never underestimated an opponent, and assumed a primary offensive stance, awaiting for him to make his move.

Syaoran would begin to unzip his backpack and let the gentle flow of the breeze pick up and take out some of the slivers of paper, and by putting a decent amount of chakra in each piece, make them float around him," I only know a little of the basics of my clan, but with what i do know i can put up a pretty decent fight, lets make sure we have some fun," he said with a smile as he noticed hers. His ability to make friends was astounding even though he rarely spoke to people. Stepping away from her he would carefully float the six pieces of paper around him, looking at her stance.

From what he could see, she seemed to be a close ranged fighter, although that could probably change at any moment. Not knowing any jutsu would not help him so he would have to rely on the basics, molding and throwing flat pieces of paper as weapons. He had enough to fight for at least thirty minutes to an hour, but not taking into accounther fighting skills would decrease the time. Taking a deep breathe, he would test her reflexes as he took three of the pieces of paper and made them spin above him at a rapid pace. Launching his hand out the three papers would seek their mark, each splitting up and covering a general direction of her, the front, left side, and back. From there, he would quicky use the other two pieces of paper to send them in the other directions, her right side and above her, as he quickly reached into the bag, keeping his eyes on her as he threw five more pieces of paper into the air. These papers were infused with chakra, giving the similar properties to steel, He would hope she would dodge them and if not, he could easily stop them and change their course. Now have a target from all side he would begin to throw the new five into the air letting them float into the clouds for his next ambush, pulling out five more and observing how she would react...

Hybris immediately reacted to the corresponding attack launched by Lybris, seeking the oncoming paper attacks now making their way toward her. Seeing as how they came from the left, side and another winder coming toward her back, she dove forward and launched two separate Ten-Finger Drilling Bullet jutsu (20 in total) in a gatling projection, covering above, to the right and left, and in front of him with five of the bullets each, their speed increasing rapidly due to their spinning motion, which concurrently caused them to cut the winds around them and boost their velocity to that of nearly double his own speed. Seeing as how she had already left the designated area, and dove forward, the two followup attacks made by Lybris would have missed her wholly - as she closed the gap from in between them, merely two feet from him by now.

Taking the time it took for him to throw the remaining projectiles into the air, she had reached him in enough time to utilize the already activated Dance of the Willow technique with the bones now razor sharp and hard as steel naturally due to the kinkotsu no kaguya blood limit, she spun in a dancing motion directly lunging her body into his, which would concurrently launch him backwards if the attack was successful. Considering the gaps in which he could have escaped were covered by her bullets, and the only entry point he could utilize was to his back, it may also be noted that she was nearly double the speed of him, and her strength being approximately double his, the blow would practically render him breathless while rending a few pieces of flesh from his skin after slicing into the clothing he wore. As a followup maneuver, she lunged yet again as his footing would take place to stabilize, diving head first into his chest utilizing the cap on her skull as a bludgeoning weapon, possibly resulting in a decadently placed bruise the size of a basketball and another gassing blow that would render him exhausted if it made its mark following her prior attack.

As his attacks reared in on his sparring partner, Lybris would see her dodge the initial three, sending what looked like bone projectiles at his direction, using the same tactic he did, except in larger numbers. They were faster than him, but that would not stop him from trying, he would quickly make a small hop making a large sum of paper come out of the backpack, using almost all of his chakra he would being to make all of the paper spiral around his body, much like atoms around a molecule, stopping most of the bullets. The paper would not stop all of them as most found ways through the cracks and hit him in the arms and legs, sending small amounts of blood onto some of the slivers of paper as they continued to spiral around him.

Letting out a wince of pain that would echo a little across the top of the mountain, he would then see hybris close the gap on the both of them, knowing that he had no chance of dodging her at this close of a range, he would send a jet of paper from behind him and shoot it between his legs sending a surprise tactic at her hoping that would stop her. If the jet of paper would hit his mark, he would jump back and regain his stance, setting up more defenses, if not and the attack missed, before his was hit, he would send the five pieces of paper that he hid beforehand behind Hybris for a sneak attack. He had no hope of winning but he knew how to play it smart and survive. The fight was skill versus the basic skills, and he was holding his ground pretty well and was not going to back down just yet.

Hybris would let out a slight smile as she witnessed the blood splattering onto the paper, obviously signaling that she had landed some of the attacks concocted from her spiraling bullets. However, she would look down just as she closed the gap between the two and notice a spiraling tornado of paper coming from between his legs, threatening to slam directly into her and negate her attacks.

Using her quick thinking tactics - she used the skull on her head to rapidly rotate the paper and send ricochet it toward Lybris and use his own jutsu against him, tossing it through the gap and utilizing her small size and a slight flip, headbutting the paper with her head slightly down, providing a perfected fourty five degree angle, allowing for the paper to slam against her outer-skeletal frame and cause his own attack to ram into Lybris.

Placing her hands on the ground to suffice for a handstand before she fell flat on her head and rendered herself defenseless, she'd perform a lariat spinning maneuver, and use the time gap created by the paper technique hitting her opponent by sending a quadrouple spinning hand stand kick in his direction aimed for his upper chest area.

Quickly landing afterward, unable to hold herself up for an extended period of time, she used the force from her spinning body to flip herself a near ten or eleven feet from the current location shared between both Hybris and Lybris, kicking from the ground beneath her and landing promptly.

Activating a jutsu which would have naturally required handseals, her perfection over the technique allowed Hybris to live up to her moniker as the prodigy student of Kumogakure when it came to Earth Release. Her body's natural density increased to that of pure diamond, further empowering her defensive quality and her attacking quality quite a bit.

Her body and clothing alike became shrouded by a darkened chakra barrier, turning it from a cheery tanned look to that of a blackened gray-like tone. Activating a follow up jutsu, almost rendering her robbed of all chakra, she wanted to display to this boy her dedication and unrelenting will to fight, even if it costed her all of the pain in the world.

Holding her hand on the rocky grounds beneath her, a large portion of gravel primarily composed of brown quartzite; provided by the mountainous structure - donned a crystalline finish that seemed to glisten with heightened brilliance when the high sun above them struck it. Broken and sharpened edges hardened by the chakra became notably apparent, and it seemed that the weight of the rock had no bothersome effect on Hybris.

Though a keen mind would suggest the technique did no other than increase the overall destructive capability output of its wielder, boosting their strength to levels underachieved by natural means. She waited for him as the brushing winds around them gently flew through the partings in her hair, revealing moistened portions of her skin covered in sweat. She was almost exhausted, but she wasn't ready to give up just yet. She needed to prove to him and everyone else that she was prepared to kill or be killed to avenge her father.
