Team One's First Mission [Private]

Dryly dragging his hand along his chin and his lips before it dropped to his side, watching the old men lead the donkeys and the cargo. Was there anything important with them or was this just to build respect for Sunagakure with the traders? It was interesting and he knew not. Regardless, he listened to what his leader said before nodding solemnly. Taking his position in the "vanguard" he waited for the others to get into position. He would be unable to make the wall move as he did he believed, but that was no problem. The donkeys were slow enough for him to regenerate his chakra and produce another when ever they needed it so it'd simply be like that. Running a bit ahead of everybody else, he would rely on their input from behind him on where they were supposed to be going and the direction, but if any bandits were to pull a 2spooky4u event he would be the only one seen. A giant translucent "wall" appeared behind Gilgamesh, stretching 40 meters in height and width giving the illusion of a pond in the blaring hot sand, a tranquil scene that Gilgamesh hoped would attract the intention of any no-gooders so he could have some fun on this trip. Walking ahead at a decent pace, he'd renew the same mirage when ever the team were close to going past the previous wall.

blaze simply litsened and  and had a look of excitement on his face blaze would activeate his byakugan and simpliy get into his position and think about the events that may happen  as he had a slight smile as he would walk at a nic pace going at a decent speed with his hands in his pockets

Xuro walked behind the caravan making sure everything was running smoothly. He hoped that no one would come and attack them as he was concerned about his team mates safety. He wouldn't want anyone of them to get hurt. But then also some action on their first mission would be good as well. To help them build on their skills and gain some experience. Xuro would have butterflies to see how this would progress. He would then keep a watchful eye on the surrounding terrain for any sign of moving life. He would also note the cool illusion created by Gilgamesh. The kid sure had style no doubt. Xuro only witnessed his illusions and his portals but that alone Xuro was very impressed with the kid. He liked his style and the way he goes about. Kinda like how Xuro was back in the day. Oh dear that made him sound old. But Xuro still remembered the days as a Genin as though it was yesterday. But a lot had changed since then. Xuro himself changed. I guess everyone ends up changing at some point for better or worse only time tells....

Xuro had still to witness what this bizarre girl was capable of. She was silent and very mysterious and unreadable. Xuro was very curious as to this. He wondered just what hidden skills she's keeping for the right time. He hoped he could see it very soon. Now not to mention Blaze. The ninja Xuro took under his wing to look after and see to it he becomes a strong ninja one Xuro can become proud of. In their last meeting, Blaze didn't pack a good punch but he did have the determination. Xuro wondered if that determination had caused the spark of Blaze to ignite and release his inner potential. He hoped Blaze had learned something at least from their last meeting....

Nearing their destination now not about 3km away from Sunagakure, Xuro was getting that "Something'sNotRight" kinda feeling. Like you know, its quiet....... Toooo quiet. And just with that was the sound of ground cracking. Xuro saw two holes in the ground forming, one on either side of the cargo. Another one formed in front of Xuro and another one was heard to the front of the cargo. "Earth style users... Dammit hiding like a mole technique..." Xuro thought to himself as 4 bandits popped out one from each of their holes. They had daggers and sly evil looks on their faces. "hehehe what do we have here. How about you jus give us what we need and we'll let you go... And what we need is.... EVERYTHING!!!!" The main one who seemed like the leader spoke. They then made their move..
The battle was going about to begin. Xuro was very curious as to how each one would react to the bandits that attacked....

They were going just fine, no troubles. At some point the girl began to question if an attack was ever going to happen, if she would see blood today or not. And then all of a sudden they were under attack. At first it seemed like the ground failing underneath them and a chasm opening. But that's not what it really was. In fact the bandits were using Hiding like a Mole technique, allowing them to surface from the ground in a surprise attack. What gave this fact away was Kaori's ability to sense chakra, also that she felt chakra in the air to be absorbed. Without really any sort of a plan she simply proceeded with that, transforming the power left the from the technique used next to her into life force and then without a delay changing it into raw speed. As calm as slaughtering could get, she put her right hand into her ninja pouch and grasped a kunai hilt. The man who emerged next to her, looked just dreadful, had a most sinister expression, a deadly looking dagger and was as big as an elephant - I'm being hyperbolic of course - but he had made one mistake that wiped all of that away. The idiot emerged facing their leader and not the girl on the left of the caravan. That was the one fact that sealed his fate and no other parameters could help him. In a blur of her new gained speed, the girl would spin the dagger in her right hand as her eyes shifted from blue to red and the next moment she would bury the blade backwards in the man's liver from the back before he even touched the ground after emerging from it. His look suddenly changed, and so did hers. In fact, where a bored look was a moment ago, now the sinister look he had worn appeared, while his own was that of shock and fear. Her tongue would race her lips, as she let the man on his knees and another kunai would appear in her left hand. The words of plea would never leave his throat as it was slit open in a sudden move. The girl's eye would return to normal color as she exhaled in what may have been taken for satisfaction. After letting the lifeless body fall, the two bloody daggers in her hands, she would look around to see how others were doing and if she could get another bite. Please more?

Hearing the sounds of falling earth; after all, that was pretty hard to not hear considering he was in a vast expanse of nothingness, he dispersed the illusion he had created and turned around to see that his team was now dealing with bandits. What an unfortunate event for the merchants. Seeing death may not be so easy for the bottom of the hierarchy of mongrels. However, he had faith in his comrades that they could handle the infestation of bandits and so he simply leaned on the back of his heel and folded his arms over his chest, speaking towards them. His voice sounding irritated at the waste of time, "Deal with the mongrels hastily, I do not wish to spend the rest of my eternal glory sweating in the middle of the desert because you pretenders enjoy taking your time."

Xuro laughed when he noticed Gilgamesh not fighting any of the bandits but instead just watched them deal with it. Xuro figured he better rap this up. He pulled out a kunai and in the blink of an eye flashed passed each bandit (the ones that Kaori never kill) and would slit each one of their throats killing all of them.

Once all the bandits were sorted, the cargo made their way safely and reached Sunagakure about half an hour later without any more bandits attacking them...

Kaori would watch as in a flash Xuro finished the remaining meat sacks. She was a bit angry at him now, as she kind of hoped for some more of that action. It was funny to see Gilgamesh's reaction though, how he did not give a single f*ck about the situation and just ordered them to deal with it. Blaze on the other hand looked like an idiot not taking any action and having Xuro to save him.

Well, it was now done. Kaori would wipe the blood off her kunais, using one of the bandit's clothes, then put them back where they belonged and continue escorting caravan to Sunagakure.

Gilgamesh watched in silent irritation at the dispatching of the shinobi that had dared to ambush his convoy. It was an annoying sight to see that the scum still did not know whom their superiors were. However, one person in the group caught his attention the most; Blaze. He merely stood there as they got attacked, almost as if he was terrified of the situation.. As if he could not comprehend that at this very minute his life could be snatched away from him. His eyebrow perked upwards as he scanned the boy briefly.. The world had no use for the weak of heart and slow of wit.. Gilgamesh just hoped he'd be able to avenge himself for the disappointment he had been this mission. As soon as the shinobi were dead, he continued on his merry way to the drop point, no longer bothering to cast the illusion.
