Corvin viewed this task as more of a nuisance than anything else. He picked up the mission solely because he needed the money for a new puppet. Some brat Academy kid crying for attention by spraying the town with graffiti? There were better ways Corvin felt he could be spending his time. Such is the life of a Genin however, so he set off down the street to try locating the brat. He noticed the graffiti already on the walls here and there and began running his fingers over each one. It didn't take long for Corvin to find what he was looking for, wet paint. He began walking a little more cautiously, peeking around each corner before turning, looking for the boy and hoping to catch him in the act. Finally he heard loud obnoxious laughter coming from a nearby alleyway.
Peeking around the corner, Corvin managed to see the little brat painting something unmentionable about the Kazekage's unmentionables. Corvin watched until the kid seemed like he was finished and he stood back to admire his work. Satisfied, the kid started walking in the direction of Corvin. Thinking quickly, Corvin used a transformation jutsu to turn himself into a trashcan and waited for the kid to pass by. The kid rounded the corner, and all Corvin needed was for him to take just one more step before he changed back and grabbed him. Unfortunately, the kid knew the streets better than he did, and a random trashcan was enough to send him running in the opposite direction. Apparently he had been through this before, and Corvin was forced to give chase. The kid tried running over the roofs of the houses, but Corvin was quickly catching up. He then leaped down and ran through crowds and shops filled with people, knocking many over in the process. Corvin was unwilling to be so rude, and lost the kid because of it. He sighed heavily and brushed himself off. First checking to make sure all the people the brat had knocked over were alright, he set off to try and find the kid again. Unfortunately, he was nowhere to be found. Corvin would have to wait for another opportunity.
That night, Corvin patrolled the streets using the same method of feeling for wet paint to indicate the kid had been there recently. Sure enough, he soon found exactly that. Continuing on, it wasn't long before that obnoxious laughter could be heard once again. This time, Corvin was ready, and a little annoyed with him on top of that. He shadowed the kid until he was immersed in his graffiti. Feeling that the time was right, Corvin used his Hiding Like A Mole jutsu to slip into the ground and made his way behind the kid. He then very suddenly popped up and unceremoniously clocked the kid over the back of his head with the butt end of his kunai rendering him unconscious. Carrying him over one shoulder, Corvin could not help but be satisfied to be rid of this nuisance.
