Round Three: Reginald Merrywether Vs Inijo Senju

Either one of you may post first. Please refer to the rules before PMing any questions. The winner will be advanced, and the loser will be eliminated.

The arena is packed full today, filled with screaming spectators and hopeful gamblers. The international Chuunin Exams has attracted an audience from all over the world. Each Genin enters from the opposite side of the arena before meeting in the middle and beginning.

Inijo would begin walking into the arena. He would walk towards the inner most ring, where, supposedly, he would met his opponent for this round. He wondered what the man's abilities were. He figured he shouldn't underestimate, despite the fact that Inijo himself had made it to the third round. The fact that his opponent has beaten two previous opponents, supposedly, means he may be skilled. That, or, like Inijo, had gotten here mainly through mere luck. Having one opponent forfeit to him, and the other not showing up at all, Inijo had barely any fighting compared to the other competitor's. That put him at a disadvantage, he couldn't compare skill. Hopefully with this fight he could manage to get through it completely, of course, while at the same time winning the match. He simply headed for the inner ring, ready to begin the fight.

Reginald shuffles out and into the daylight, shielding his face for a moment before looking up and at the sun. He smiles, seemingly at peace before a scowl "kills" off the smile, usurping its place.

" FUCK YOU! IM GOING TO MURDER YOUR PARENTS WITH A HAMMER! "


Reginald Merrywether had indeed arrived...Yelling promises of parental violence to the giant glowing ball of light in the sky...


A wound is clearly visible upon the Doctors decrepit form, specifically what could be assumed a stab to the heart should one have basic knowledge on anatomy. After a few moments of staring at and insulting the sun, Reginald looks at the crowd and their rather displeased attitude, the doctors reply being to give them the finger.

" WHO SUCKS AND WHO SHOULD GO VIOLATE THEMSELVES WITH A FRIGGEN TREE BRANCH!?! ALL OF YOUUUUU - ASSASSIN! "

Turning to the left a bit, Reginald brings his right leg up, slamming it down upon a lady bug.

Good job..You killed a harmless insect


" FUCK YOU, IT WAS AN ASSASSIN! "

because tiny insects that have no way of hurting you - Oh forget it.

" I WIN? "

Your an idiot -

" HA! I WIN! I WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN! "

Reginald proceeds to hop up and down jovially, quite overjoyed that he just stuck a nonexistent stick up the rear end of his equally nonexistent counterpart. This would go on until the match is ready to begin...

Inijo, waiting, would soon notice his opponent. It wasn't a lengthy wait, probably about a few seconds. Though he felt somewhat impatient, he wanted to get this fight over with. He would watch, the distance between him and his opponent was great. At least, that's what Inijo's opinion was. The distance between the two was greater than thirty meters, though didn't really exceed forty meters. This being due to the fact that the two were in the inner ring, which had only forty meters in diameter. He would simply observe his opponent for a moment. He watched as the smile of his opponent would fade from his face, turning to a frown. He would begin to shout, though Inijo not being too sure as to whether or not it was directed towards him, as he wasn't looking at Inijo at the time. Rather instead, he was looking up. Though Inijo had assumed that it was directed towards him, mainly due to no one else being in the arena. His opponent had said that he would kill someone's parents, which again, Inijo took as it was directed at him. He was slightly angered at this, and decided for a quick end. The main reason he was angered, his parents were already dead. Hearing that someone had wished to kill them with a hammer wasn't that amusing, in Inijo's opinion. He simply sighed, as his opponent would begin to make movements. Inijo began to watch once more, not yet making a movement, remaining a good distance away from his foe. From the thirty meters away he couldn't see what his opponent was really doing. He figured it was a movement for battle, he had no idea that there had been a small insect over there. Mainly due to the bug having been so small, from the distance, Inijo wouldn't have noticed. Another thing was that he was focused on his opponent, not the bug or other insects.

As the man began to motion his foot downwards, towards the unseen bug. Inijo had begun to move, taking the movement of his foe as a sign that he was ready to fight. He was moving about half of his top speed. Upon arriving close to his opponent, he would motion his arm and hand to act as if he were going to punch his foe. He would begin to launch his fist forward, not using his full strength for the attack.

Slightly disturbed by the new series of events, Reginald turns his head toward his opponent, still talking to himself as he catches a glimpse of his opponents action. The Doctor is a slow one, physically, and simply widens his eyes in surprise as he watches the enemies fist approach his face.

Internally, A rapid debate begins brewing....


HOLY SHIT! A HAND!

Actually....it's a fist...

Oh dear...more brain damage...

Inijo continued forward, making contact with his foe. He hadn't done anything to stop the attack, seemingly. His senses remained active, though, as to alert for an attack. He wasn't using his full strength in the attack, as to actually be capable of analyzing his opponent's foes, so that he could get an idea on how strong the other opponent's were. He figured this attack would instead cause the man to go all out, if he had hit him strong enough anyways. If not, then his opponent would probably deem him weak in the terms of physical strength. Inijo jumped back after his attack, creating a twenty foot distance between his new position and his opponent's old position.

Taking the shot, Reginald staggers backward, holding the area effected ( face? ).


" WHAT THE FUCK! DIDN'T YOUR MOTHER EVER TEACH YOU ANY MANNERS?!?! AH! IM BLEEDING OUT! OH GOD! OH GOD! "


Shaking it off, Reginald bursts out into laughter, howling like a madman as he grins like a rapacious beast.

" You know....when we're done here....IM GOING TO KILL A BUNCH OF ORPHANS! IM GOING TO RAPE THEIR SOULS AND DESTROY THEM WITH HAMMERS! "


How....how does getting punched in the face -

It's best not to question it anymore. I caught him yelling at an outhouse for stealing from a tree.

I suppose we all drove him to it, Wouldn't you think?


Taking the heavens sorrow ninjato by the hilt, Reginald draws it furiously, Stabbing himself where he had earlier, once again showcasing his lack of a heart or ability to survive with a life threatening injury. In reality, nothing was there as it was taken away via splicer. If not interrupted at this point or before, Reginald rips the blade free and starts walking toward his opponent. He damn sure isn't as fast or coordinated as this kid, but Quackles be damned, Reggie didn't care.

My opponent informed me to say that he forfeits the match

All I need is conformation from Kino on the thread that he does indeed surrender, and the winner will be Reginald.
