Enter Strythio! Crossing the Border
Wed Oct 30, 2013 10:16 am
Travelling alone, as usual, a lone figure walked up to the border between Earth and Wind country. Needless to be emphasized, the border was well marked; the pre-apocalyptic rivalry between the two villages still had a few ashen remnants of the hostility. Of course, as a missing ninja, Strythio was not up to date as to whether this rivalry even still existed.
With his black hooded cloak, underneath of which were his old Iwa shinobi clothing, the man paused for a moment to rest. Setting down his small backpack, the six foot shinobi stretched, took a seat upon a nearby rock, and took a moment to reflect.
The chaos from all those ages ago, thankfully he wasn't around to pick up the ashes (no pun intended), had subsided so long ago, that people were forgetting about the chaos and instead focusing on killing each other again. The road was empty today, thankfully for the missing nin.
Why travel to Sunagakure? Well, the answer was simple, and it wasn't for food and water. He had some of that stashed in his backpack, but for the most part, he was headed to Wind Country for the sake of training.
In order to avoid getting lost in the vast desert, the man was intending on not straying too far from the original border. Since he was relatively weak, he didn't plan on trying to travel all the way to Sunagakure with the few shinobi tools he had on hand.
So now, having rested a moment, the young man would get his backpack, rise to his feet, and cross the border, leaving behind his home country and the familiar valleys and canyons, and entering the unfamiliar desert for the sake of training.
Who knows? The man might even find something special while in the country.
