Glanced over at Kenzo as he looked into his eyes and began walking along side Kenzo and his mother. The hand of his new "Mother" was very close but he refused to grab hold of it for many reasons. One being he did not see this boy or his mother as his own family. Another, that he was too focused on himself and his past at this moment.

would meet Kenzo's gaze as he looked into Kenshin's eyes, before looking forward once again and following his new "Mother". As he noticed her partially reaching out for him to take her hand he would refuse for one simple reason. He did not know this people, nor did he like them or see them as his family in the slightest. To him, currently they were no more than tools to be used for his own personal gain, but that is open to change with some work from them.
