It had only been a day or two since Haru gifted Kenchi with a byakugan, but he was nervous, concerning the implantation, causing him to postpone the surgery. So he spent his free time researching the properties of the byakugan. This is when he discovered that in order to be able to fully operate his new eye, he would need to first gain the blood of a member of the Hyuuga clan, and the only person that could come to his mind at the moment was Haru.

Unfortunately he doesn't know where Haru is exactly, and is currently walking through the village hoping to come across him by chance.

It was strange how convenient fate could be, when so inclined. Haru had just been walking back from a visit to Takeo’s house, after parting ways with Youta. He would spot Kenchi walking through the streets, his eyebrows raising slightly. He wondered about how the operation of the eye had gone for him… He wasn’t wearing bandages, and his eyes both looked normal…
”Kenchi!” He would call out, beginning to walk towards him. ”Did you get the eye implanted yet?” He would ask, once he was closer, in a much quieter tone, so as not to draw too much attention.

Kenchi walks towards Haru, meeting him halfway, "No, I haven't got the eye implanted just yet..." He mutters, "How can I say this, it seems I'm going to need your blood." This is said with all seriousness. "I've discovered that if I don't get Hyuuga DNA, then I'll just be walking around with the byakugan activated 24/7, and that just may be a bit too tiring." After he explains this, he waits to hear the boys reply. He is hoping his request is not too much of a problem for Haru.

Haru would nod quickly at Kenchi’s request. The thought of blood had slipped his mind at the moment he gave him the eye, but he knew the drill. He quickly pulled a syringe from his belt, stuck it into his arm, and drew out his blood casually. He had gotten used to swapping blood and such as of late.
”Good luck with the operation, then” He would say, handing him the syringe. ”Come find me if you need anything else.” He would say over his shoulder as he began walking away. Just another day, another needle.

Kenchi's turns his face away from Haru, when the boy casually draws out a needle and sticks it within himself, almost on instinct. "Yeah, um, thanks..." He says after reaching over and carefully grabbing the needle. Once, Haru walks away, he sighs loudly in relief. He could now finally began the surgical transplantation, without any future hindrances.

[Exit, with syringe filled with Hyuuga DNA]
