Let's go down the hole! [P, NK]

The Jounin would not be gone long. Probably being the second fastest ninja in the village he quickly made his way through the islands, appearing at the window of his house. He would slip inside and go through the things, did not need any fancy clothing, books? no, don't need the harpoon either. The man would find about ten meters of rope, which he would swiftly gran, and after folding put on his shoulder. He would also change his sandals to something less slippery, and his shirt to one he would not care to if it got wet or damaged. Strangely, it was not all that different, also black, although did not have the fancy patterns, actually, he did not know what he did not care for it to get damaged, the thing being almost identical to has favorite one.

After everything what he found relevant was with him, the man would storm out of the house again, not forgetting to close the window behind him. He did everything pretty fast, so he could take it slow on his way to the spot. Casually walking through the islands the Uchiha would stop at an ice cream shop, get the vanilla and strawberry one. Then in the same casual manner get to the spot, where he would appear a few minutes early. The time he would take to finish his ice cream, find the cave and determine how deep underwater it was... Not too deep, they should be able to reach it without any serious diving equipment.

Sanada didn't honestly know what to change into for cave exploring, and to be honest he didn't have anything else in his wardrobe save for different color neck ties. "Well this is going to be awkward, guess i'm going caving in slacks" he would say rubbing his head. He decided he would just stay dressed as he was, after all he was a ninja if he didn't want dirt or things to touch him then they wouldn't.

As he was strolling to the meeting point with another cigarette in his mouth he saw Naoki in the distance. Walking up to him from the distance he would wave with one hand. As he would reach his partner he would begin talking. "Hey, yea I didn't have any extra clothes...or cave equipment, but I got duct tape" he would say pulling the roll out of his pocket.

After his short inspection of the spot, Naoki returned to where he was supposed to meet Sanada. It was not long before the Chuunin appeared. He did not seem much changed. Maybe the man did not get into the feel of going cave exploring. Personally, Naoki could not care if his stuff was functional for such job, he just wanted to get into the feeling and have fun. After all, they were ninja and could probably handle anything the cave could throw at them. Sanada said something like an apology, to which Naoki replied going along the lines of 'meh, w/e'. He would then start walking back to the spot where the cave opened and where they would dive for it. Of course he would use the water walking to get there, hopefully Sanada did the same. There was no way they were getting out of this dry.

Following Naoki to the cave entrance they cam on to a path of water to which Naoki proceeded to walk on with applying chakra to his feet. "Chakra's too mainstream" Sanada would shout out from behind the man before just stepping into the water plunging deeper than he expected loosing all balance. "Ah shit" he yelled as he went under the water for a brief moment making sure to remove the cigarette from from his mouth and hold it above water.

He began kicking his feet propelling himself back above water level, as soon as his head surface he would look towards his senior "Saved it!" he would say putting the cigarette back in his mouth and pulling himself out of the water. "So using chakra it is" as he began to walk on the water to catch up to Naoki.

Naoki would laugh as the man attempted to swim after him while trying to keep his cigarette from getting wet. It was an amusing sight, but it did not take long for the Chuunin to accept that walking on water using chakra will be much easier this time. For now at least. Turning back the Uchiha would keep walking and in less than a minute they would be there. It was still within the sight's range of the village. The cave opening was several feet underwater, under them. From his previous inspection Naoki knew the cave was not fully flooded and would have pockets of air inside, although he was uncertain about their size. Could be entire halls, could be just enough for a small breather.

Well, no time to waste, let the adventure begin! Preparing himself, making sure he was comfortable with the rope and everything for a dive Naoki turned to Sanada "Seems like I will have to take a little plunge. I believe there should be air down there, but I am not certain how much and how soon we will run into one, so keep it as much as you can." And with that he would release the chakra holding him on the water's surface, falling down, then turning upside down and diving deeper.

After they had been walking for just a few moments extra they came to a spot where Naoki began fidgeting with his rope before he said something about air and needing it blah blah. "Alright I understand" He would reply after he heard him finish speaking. Soon after the higher up vanished under the water letting air bubbles ride up from where he was. "Save air, ha, he knows i'm a smoker right, oxygen is not on my side".

Sanada sighed taking one last drag from his cigarette before putting it out and putting the spent butt in his pocket. He didn't want to litter after all it was bad for the environment. With that he let his chakra control go and he plummeted after Naoki making sure to keep eyes on him.

A couple seconds after he took a dive Naoki heard the Chuunin follow him. They were not going deep, not really. After a few moments of swimming the Jounin would spot a chasm opening right in front of them. This was their entry, he would continue towards it, slipping in and continuing down the fairly wide cavern. Oh and by fairly wide, I meant that one could easily go sideways and still have enough room. The area was underwater, is what made it problematic though. And it was slowly getting darker as they would be getting deeper. Lucky for them it was not long before the Uchiha noticed a light area above, an area that surely was a surface of water within the cavern. It was an air pocket, based on the size considerably big as well. Moving his hands back he would lunge towards it, reaching it in a couple seconds and replenishing his air supply. Hopefully Sanada would be not far behind.

Following the Jounin closely as to not lose him he began to run out of air slightly which was inconvenient to his living goals. Sanada also didn't have a large air compacity due to his smoking nature so he was hitting his limit fast. Luckily for him Naoki picked up his pace a little which was a sign that air had been found or so he hoped. He wasn't as fast as his higher up counter part so it took him longer to reach the surface than it should have. By the time he did reach the top he was gasping for air as if he could take it all for himself. "Don't...want...to do that...again" he woulds ay in between gasps.

It took a few moments more for Sanada to appear next to Naoki, than the man expected. And the Chuunin was breathing quite heavily, much more so than the Uchiha. Maybe it had something to do with him smoking. No point in guess right now. The Jounin decided not to take such leaps of faith again and instead scout ahead using his sunflies. He would release five of them one after another, letting them take a dive and continiue on the chasm, while leaving one above them for light. The seals were not exactly designed for this kind of exploration, their sensory meant to track chakra, rather than work in sonar fashion. However, they could track if the object they are in touch with is solid or not. Communicating with each other the orbs would map out this part of the cave fairly quickly. It seems that there was a much larger pocket of air nearby and this one was not too big. "We're diving again, there's a bigger chamber nearby, follow me." After saying that he would go down again, the one orb would remain with Sanada to light his way if needed. The rest would always be in process of mapping out this new area. In a few seconds of swimming Naoki would lead them to the new room, one where they could actually stand up on solid rock.

Despite being soaking wet and feeling like his higher up was trying to drown him. All in all it was a great day, he was getting to know one of the other ninja a little better even though not many words were shared. It made him feel like he was part of something bigger than just a village and being just a ninja that was in the village. As they were taking in the air Naoki released his jutsu again which was just beautiful to watch as they floated around as if they were dancing.

Sanada guessed they were moving by the mans chakra and him putting his will in them as they strted to decend into the water as one stayed behind to provide them with more light. It only took a few moments of them floating around for Naoki to say they were going back under for a bigger room. That was perfectly find with Sanada, getting out of the water was on the top of his to do list as of now. "Cool, lead the way and I'll follow" he would say watching the man dive again before following him in the same manner. The extra sunfly providing light for them under water to observe the beauty of these underwater routes.
