A Reason To Keep Fighting [nk]
Sun Feb 09, 2014 6:03 pm
Koaru sat in the orphanage playing area. The kids were all sitting on the parameter of the area...not playing. They had no motivation to live, probably because there was no one in their life to motivate them. Koaru knew what it was like to not have anyone believe him. His grandparents and their fellow clan elders had high hopes for him becoming clan nobility, but neglected his dream to become a strong shinobi of konoha. Koaru planned to meet someone hear and put on a show for all these orphans -- shinobi style. Maybe then they'd be motivated to make something of themselves. Koaru looked at the clock annoyingly.

Jason was hurrying to the orphanage with his trusty sword in sheath at his waist, tied tightly to make sure it doesn't fall off. he also had his ring of rejuvenation at his right ring finger boosting his stamina. Jason went inside the orphanage in a hurry and crashed to the ground. Jason picked himself up off the floor and instantly spotted koaru. "ehehehe... hey, koaru. sorry i'm late. i don't know this area that well..." Jason stated with a nervous laughter. "so, what did you want to see me for?" Jason asked him. whatever koaru wanted, Jason was ready to do it.

"Oi Jason. You gotta pay for lunch for being late!"
Koaru greeted Jason as he tapped his foot. Koaru nodded in the direction of the children who all seemed to notice Jason's arrival. Koaru widened his stance and raised his fists. "Let's show these kids what it's like to be a ninja" he said with a smile.
The kids were 60 meters away from Koaru and Jason in all directions, giving them a sizable area to fight in. There were a few stacked crates scattered in between the kids and the two shinobi. Koaru was ready to fight, and he waited for Jason to acknowledge and make the first move.

"very well, koaru. let's show them how a REAL shinobi fights!" said Jason as he put up a stance and prepared himself. Jason ran towards koaru and swung his right fist towards koaru's face if it hit, then Jason would follow up with a 1-2 combo and knock him down towards the ground. should that happen then Jason would focus chakra chains in his left hand and make it 20 meters in length and 2 inches wide and swing it towards the left leg. should that hit, then Jason would pull koaru towards himself.

Koaru agreed with the nod of his head as every muscle in his body tensed up. Here he came. Koaru saw the first punch and lunged forward. He let his left fist fly, and his fist clashed with Jason's right fist. The force of the colliding punches, sent his hair flying. Koaru could not help but crack a smile. The two were still evenly matched in terms of strength. Koaru quickly withdrew his punch when Jason closed in for a follow up punch combo. Koaru weaved through Jason's movements and swiveled his whole body until he was completely behind Jason, both of their backs facing each other.
Koaru quickly spun on his heels to face Jason once more. Koaru saw that Jason was already forming a chakra chain. Koaru reflexively ducked in attempt to dodge the chains, and he eyed his surroundings. However, Koaru saw that Jason was aiming for his legs by the time it was too late. The chain wrapped around Koaru's waist while he was crouching. Koaru was pulled in Jason's direction. Those chains had somewhat been the young Uzumaki's specialty. Koaru still had not seen a technique quite like his. Jason truly was a splendid ninja. However, Koaru was a splendid ninja as well, and he would prove so in this fight. Koaru focused his chakra as he reeled in toward Jason. He could hear the awe of all those that watched them fight.

" get over here." Jason said with a grin. Jason turned around and made a spinning kick with his left leg and aimed it towards koaru's face. if it connected, then koaru would become dizzy from the attack. Jason would then follow up with a left straight jab aimed at his face. should that connect, then Jason would finish the combo with a jabbing punch with his right hand aimed at koaru's face.

Koaru's face was soon abruptly halted by Jason's left leg. His entire head moved with the path of Jason's foot, and his neck was twisted unnaturally. Koaru seemed to not even respond to the kick or the pain it delivered. Jason seemed to love combos, as the kick was soon followed suit by a jab from the same hand that held the chain that constricted Koaru. It landed straight on Koaru's chin before his feet ever reached the ground. Again, though, Koaru seemed to not even feel the pain. The kids started to "ooh and awwh" and their excitement seemed to liven the action. Jason was delivering hit after hit, so preoccupied with his punches that he left his blind side open. With the final blow, Koaru burst open in a cloud of smoke. Chunks of wood could be heard hitting the floor. What Jason had actually been hitting was one of the crates that surrounded the two ninja. When Koaru was eyeing his surroundings earlier, just before being constricted by the chakra chain, he was actually looking for something suitable to substitute with. Apparently, that crate had a flour-like substance in it, providing the cloudy white smoke. Jason would have to be wondering where the real Koaru was at this point.
Even the kids roared with excitement. It was because they knew exactly where Koaru was. Their "oohs and awes" were not for Jason's consecutive punches. They were in response Koaru's clever substitution jutsu. The real Koaru emerged from a pile of crates with his right fist closed in a fist in front of his face, chakra coursing through his veins. Jason's would still be reacting to the discovery of the replacement by the time Koaru was behind Jason again. He would lift his fist into an uppercut landing right in Jason's back side. If he turned around to realize that Koaru was behind him, the hit would land square in his stomach, knocking the wind from his lungs.

Jason caught on after 5 minutes of thinking why the kids cheered. it wasn't because of Jason kept pummeling koaru. it was because he had changed places. Jason turned around and let himself get hit. Jason would then activate his chakra chains that were 5 meters long and 2 inches wide and swung them towards his legs. should they hit then the hooks at the end would cut into his thighs.

Koaru grinned as the hit connected with his stomach. When his hand left Jason's stomach, a few sparks of lightning filled the gap. The pulse of his Raiton chakra would soon fill Jason's body. The pain would be like nothing Jason had ever felt before, like his cells were burning right under his skin. This was not a normal uppercut. This was a technique Koaru had recently mastered since discovering he had a second chakra nature. Koaru knew Jason did not know about this, yet. The force of this technique was stronger than Koaru normally was (Strength 20) and would send Jason flying backward and crashing into a nearby pile of crates, before Jason got a chance to activate his chains.

Jason was screaming in pain as he were crashing towards the crates. "what the...? what was that?" Jason thought while slowly getting up.Jason pointed to koaru while shaking with electricity. "what was that? that wasn't a normal punch, was it?" Jason then collapsed to the ground due to not being able to stand up from all the electricity.
