Missed encounters [Arcanis and Yume]

Arc COuldn't stop thinking about the girl he had met the other night.  She had stolen a kiss from him and he didn't even know her name.  "Tsk"  why did he continueously think about it.  He thought he was above his emotions keeping them in check.  

Arc shook his head was it because it was his first...He needed to clear his head.  He went for a walk on the town.  His thoughts were in turmoil as the village was a light with attractive sights and sounds.  Maybe a drink would ease his mind.  Not that he really wanted to forget her.  He wouldn't admit that it was unpleasant.  Arc shook his head again and ducked into the nearest bar.  Going to the bar he ordered a drink.  The bartender gave him a weird look but shruged his shoulders handing Arc the drink.  Arc focused his thoughts inward instead of outward for a change.

Arcanis noticed her when she slipped into the seat near him.  Her dress did in fact catch his eye.  He couldn't escape her it seemed.  This must have been similar to what The other guy felt like.  Arcanis found it strange that the mere thought of this women could summon her into being.  She was definitely a thing of mystery.  But one thing about mysteries, Arcanis loved them.  Her voice was melodic as she asked for a drink.

"Bartender allow me to pay for her drink.  It's the least I can do in exchange for the gift of her pressence."  Arcanis had a way with words.  He wasn't overly cocky or boastful about it but he realized it was a skill.  After all not everyone convinces village leaders from around the ninja world to aid him in a business venture.  But tonight was not about him.  Tonight would be about impressing her.  

Arcanis was not presumptuous however.  He remained in his seat and smiled at the beautiful young woman.  taking a sip of his own drink.  "That is a beautiful necklace your wearing.  Quite a different style than the one you had the last time I saw you."  Arcanis recalled the sparkling gem that had caused all the trouble ealier.  however that was all in the past.  Arcanis rarely dwelt on the past.  he had too much to worry about in the future.

Arcanis Eyes would move to a far off place for a moment as he recalled it before returning his attention to his company.  He raised his glass saluting the woman.

Arcanis had to admit to him self that the girl was cute.  Hot even if you went by the stadards most men considered.  He was pleased thst she had moved over.  It meant he could engage a bit more.  He hadn't really been surprised when he saw that she had shifted over with out a sound.  It was one of the things that had drawn his eye to her to begin with.[size=12.800000190734863] This girl...he knew she was special. [/size]


"So seems you are a little more than a cute face aren't you."  Arcanis said before sipping his drink.  Looked over at the bartender who seemed to pipe in quite a bit.  "But that isn't what you want to be remembered for.  Sure the drinks are nice but in the end you want to be someone special."  With that Arc disappeared.  Appearing in one of the empty booths as if nothing had happened.  He did it mainly to show her that he was special too but also to get away from the nosy bartender, who didn't seem to like him.  "Another round for myself and the lady."  He called the couple meters to the bartender, just in case he wasn't noticed by the young woman.

Arcanis would wait till she noticed him and would tip his head to the side indicating she should join him.

Arcanis watched as the girl bounced her way over to the table.  He could make assumptions but as she was still a mystery to him, it would be illolgical and could perhaps get him into trouble.  When the girl had talked the bartender into being, as she put it, professional, she slid into the booth.  She looked at him with her bright red eyes and Arcanis felt the demon inside him grumble in his mind.  If it had it's way it would like to taste those beautiful eyes.  'probably taste like cherries.'  it said to arc in his head.  He ignored it for a better opportunity.

"Yes I do.  I have plans for the future and you...You fit perfectly into them.  You are gorgeous and yet mysterious and I can tell you have the makings of a great ninja in you.  Not to mention other desirable traits.  But there will be time for that later."  Arcanis smiled.  This time it was definitely flirtatious.  "You seem quite good at that technique.  If I'm not mistaken it is an application of space time jutsu.  Something similar to what I demonstrated.  I think I might be able to teach you a thing or two."  His voice was soft and he didn't emphasise it at all but Arc was sure from how she had been acting before that she probably caught the double meaning of his statement.  Now if only those drinks would arrive.

Arc noticed the look on Yume's face when he mentioned it.  She was back with him though denying any knowledge of what he was talking about.  But Arc knew that face he understood what just went through her mind more than she would think.  However her emphasis of the word stranger did remind him that he had yet to introduce himself.  but before he did that He needed on more piece of information.

The Waitress brought the drinks and Arcanis smiled at her noticing a look between the waitress and this woman.  Arcanis rarely missed things.  And even rarer did he play his cards early.  This woman was beautiful but he was also sure she was unpredictable.  Arc smiled at her and leaned in slightly as if to tell a secret.  He mad sure the waitress was gone before speaking.

"Have you ever heard of the Hedatari clan?"  Arc said just quiet enough for Yume to hear him.  Arc loved secrets.  He smiled again at her this time mischievously.
