Training like a Fanatic {Solo Training} Empty Training like a Fanatic {Solo Training}

Fri Mar 14, 2014 8:20 pm
The area was nothing more than a clearing in the center of a densely forested area, clearly it was near the borders of the Fire Country but just out of reach. The clearing itself was just a sandy circular area of the forest with a few somewhat large rocks jutting out here and there. Though, perhaps this was an understatement. The place was damn near filled with rocks! Yuki had chosen this spot for her training for that specific reason, after all. She needed to train and that was only truly possible with rocks as she had no village to call her own and no training grounds to train in because of it. She simply let out a sigh of exasperation as she looked at the make-shift training dummies which she had elaborately constructed from rocks, grass, leaves, and wood. They looked almost just like real people and Yuki was actually rather impressed with her own resourcefulness in constructing them. After all, she wasn't usually the creative type and this truly took a creative type of mind to do.

Yuki herself was sporting an attire that was quite... Well, I am sure you know the word for it. It was almost similar to military attire but it looked so strange on her, a thirteen year young child, that it almost seemed stolen. Well... To be fair, the armor was stolen. Yuki had stolen it along with the gauntlets when she had left the Akimichi clan several years back. Though that was irrelevant. She looked at each training dummie as if she were preparing, analyzing her foe. Her military attire was that of a flak jacket type upper garment with shorts that led down to thigh-high boots which all fit together nicely with the gauntlets on her arms to fulfill a perfectly covering armor that encompassed her entire body. The armor itself was blue but was woven with several different types of metals to increase the hardness and durability, making it appear slightly shinier than your typical clothing attire.

Yuki was an extremely apathetic and emotionally distant person. That was not to say that she had no emotions, on the contrary, she would occasionally feel things such as excitement and sadness but never would these emotions show on her outward appearance. She would almost never smile and almost never do a full frown or cry. She certainly was not the type to yell, either. She rarely raised her voice and would often speak in a simple, soft, monotone voice that people often had to be quiet in order to hear her. She would not repeat herself if someone missed what she said, either, which often led many to get frustrated or angry with her.

Furthermore, besides her apathy, she was extremely mentally ill in every sense of the word. Her favorite food, after all, was human beings. She enjoyed eating and munching on human flesh and drinking human blood, something that had caused her to become an outcast, wandering the lands as a Missing Ninja in search of someone who was willing to accept her way of life. She did not see how horrid her actions were and lacked any actual conscience, leading her to act without guilt, free from such typical human attributes. She would often fight to kill then feast on her opponent's dead corpse; or living corpse, if they somehow survived.

When she was only four, Yuki would always smile whenever she was with her mother and she was regularly at her side, holding her hand. Despite crying whenever she lost in sparring, she started to smile again as soon as she saw Tenshi, her sister, when she came to pick her up from the training dojo. She was considered incredibly weak and lacking in many areas including will power and resolve. She was incapable of properly fighting any of the other academy students her age and would often not even try. To many she was nothing more than a weakling who did not even want to become stronger. In fact, such a thing was true until the death of her family.

The death of her father, mother, and sister, having been killed in the chaos of a riot that occurred in her original home village of Kirigakure no Sato, a riot that caused much grief among everyone in the small part of the village, pushed her mind into a state of insanity. The majority of her emotions were wiped completely from her being and replaced with pure evil and the relentless intent to kill anyone who crossed her path. This newly acquired resolve to kill turned her into something of a 'monster'. She takes the side of neither good nor evil and will kill those affiliated with either if in the mood or merely for the sport of it. However, for some reason she bares a feeling of loyalty to anyone who is willing to accept her way of life and will not strike at them without reason. Her favorite color is without a doubt blood red, which leads to yet another highly unreasonable purpose for which she kills. At times she will kill simply because she wants to see the color again, splashing the blood across the room after they're dead just to see it on the walls and floor.

Due to her constant fights with unintelligent passer-byers and her seemingly emotionless look, many people are rather afraid of her whether it be because her preceding reputation or her careless demeanor when performing acts that would be considered by others are cruel and completely immoral. Regardless, she will question anyone with any position of authority without a moments hesitation. This has caused her to make a good number of enemies, however, the majority of said enemies did not survive to remain enemies. When Yuki fights in combat she never fights to knock out the other opponent or merely 'win'. She always goes for the kill and always fight as if it were a death match. If her opponent is not dead than the fight has yet to end. That is her resolve and logical view on combat.

Another tendency found in Yuki is her corrective personality. She tends to restate facts in a more technically correct fashion, which has earned her the title by some as a smart-ass or seen as too determined to be correct. This is not the point, however, her sole reason for correcting people's technical mistakes is to make sure everyone gets the correct idea, and do not believe what isn't necessarily true. At times, Yuki quite prefers a peaceful life of solitude, without the interference of others. She has an extremely improper social life, but is quite the strategic genius in battle; withholding the ability to conjure up plans at a moments notice, when they are most required - based on her own observations.

Yuki proceeded forward, her short blonde hair tucked neatly behind her ears, her bangs tossled lightly to the left so that she could see without obstruction of her view. She ran forward with haste now, her eyes quickly glinting as they eyed each dummie as if individually, deciding which one she should attack first and foremost before the others. She decided she would simply choose at random, pulling her right gauntlet back and channeling a small amount of chakra into it in order to activate it, the gauntlet instantly expanding and growing to form a giant fist as she swung it forward, allowing it to collide with the make shift training dummie. The dummie itself was damn near obliterated as bits and pieces of it flew in all directions, the scraps covering the ground where the person-like thing once sat safely, now shattered to hundreds of pieces of wood and rocks. She pulled her fist back, a cloud of dust flowing with the wind as she had destroyed the dummie with relative ease.

"Now for the next one..." she muttered under her breath as she deactivated her gauntlet, deciding that she would instead test her own abilities against the dummie rather than relying on her gauntlets to do all of the work. She ran at the next dummie in her line of sight before jumping into the air and spinning around in a complete three hundred and sixty degree motion, swinging her leg around as it collided with earthen head of the dummie, shattering it to bits as she landed behind it, quickly turning around and throwing job after job at its wooden torso and back, snapping the wood with ease as she butchered it with her fists, feeling it break and snap until it was nothing more than a pile of rubble and wooden scraps. She sighed as she pulled back, brushing her petite hand slowly through her golden blonde hair. 'What a hassle that I have to practice on this shit...' she thought to herself, sighing. This is a hassle, indeed.' she thought once more before moving to the next dummie and once more decimating it with a flurry of punches and kicks, reducing it to nothing more than scraps similar to the fate that the two before it had suffered.

Yuki finally looked up, almost forgetting that she had made a make-shift track around the area so that she could practice her speed as well. She was almost excited to practie her speed as it was so vital to shinobi that they were quick and agile. She almost shuttered at the near showing of emotion she almost encountered. 'I can't show emotion...' she thought, realizing that it was indeed something foreign to her. Ever since her family had died she never once showed emotion. Ever. Not unless it was forced, at least. But she meant true emotions like a genuine smile or laughter. No, she never showed such a sign of weakness that most regarded as emotions. She was a shinobi. A tool, a weapon. A killing instrument. To show emotion was to seal your own fate and that fate was death, something that the girl would never openly embrace even if it were the last thing on the planet.

The importance of speed and agility in a shinobi's life could not possibly be overstated. Even for those who undervalued the asset or were simply unable to replicate it to a satisfactory degree, the benefits were still blatantly apparent to them and there was no denying it no matter how much one might try to do so. Those who were quick on their feet and able to rapidly close distances had a distinct advantage that could not be denied. Of course, speed was not everything, but at the same time, it was definitely no small thing. It was such a major area to be trained that anyone who would neglect it would surely find themselves at a disadvantage in combat against faster opponents.

To most shinobi, the advantage of having such speed conferred would have been enough to motivate oneself to train their bodies in the art of swift movement and hone one's reflexes to be able to react with split second timing that such speed demanded. Yuki knew and understood the importance of speed. In fact, throughout her life she had neglected her other areas of training for the sole purpose of training her speed. A recent encounter made it all too much more important, however, that she expand on the ground work that she had already laid down. She needed to become even faster!

Yuki began to run around the make shift track at a quick pace, her small legs actually carrying her at a significant speed as she zoomed through the track with ease, avoiding minor obstacles as if they were not even there. She was training not only her speed but her reflexes and as she ran she realized that she actually had a goal in life. What was her goal? It was to become stronger. To become stronger so that she may finally find friendship and protect them with her life. To become stronger so that finally someone would accept her as she was and even if they did not, she would be strong enough to force them to accept her and her ways. The life of a cannibal was a lonely life but she was tired of living that life. All she wanted was to be accepted by others and finally have friends to call her own. A village to call her own.

She almost teared up at the thought of such things as she continued to run the track at a remarkable speed, baffled by her near show of emotion. She choked the tears down and stifled any emotional outbreak that she may have. She refused to give into such things, she absolutely refused. She could not be weak and she sure as Hell could not be branded as weak by any potential on lookers. She was insane, psychotic, she ate people, she killed people, she longed for the sight of blood, she longed for the sight of gorey remains, she longed to kill and at times, to be killed... She was nothing more than an empty, emotionless doll at this point in her life. She would not let that change for it was all she knew. The only way she knew to act. She could not afford to change that now so suddenly. After all, she was but a young girl and such a drastic change would naturally have a negative impact on her if she did decide to change.

Yuki finally stopped running and returned to the sandy area where she had just been, jogging in place as she realized that she had not finished off all of the dummies as she had originally intended. There still stood approximately six of them and she needed to destroy all of them if she truly intended to get stronger. Though, she figured getting stronger would have been much easier if she had simply found someone to spar with like the Kiranomo chick. After all, sparring with another person was always much easier than training all by yourself. Regardless of that reasoning, Yuji was all alone and she had no one to train with at that point in time. She had to train by herself for the time being. She had to get stronger and that was impossible unless she put in the effort not only with others but on her own.

Yuki sighed as she dropped to the ground and started doing push ups, one after another she pushed her petite body up and down against the dirty ground, dust flying up and covering her body as she was getting dirty, but she didn't care. She did push up after push up like it was no big deal, which in all honesty it really wasn't. Her body was small and weighed very little, sustaining the weight with her arms, no matter how weak she was, was a simple matter. She pushed and pushed herself until she finally gave out, collapsing on the ground after approximately a hundred push ups. She was exhausted from all the training so she decided that she would take a short break from training to focus on the mental aspect of her person. After all, training was partly mental in a way and one could not simply get stronger just be putting in the physical work.

Yuki had come to the firm realization that she must become stronger. Nay, it was not that she simply wished to become stronger. Such a whimsical thing as becoming stronger simply to become stronger was beneath her. Far too indulgent in emotions and personal desires for a person such as herself to engage in. She was coerced to become strong for the sake of her life. She did not want to be stronger for any other reason but to protect herself and to protect those closest to her, when they came to her.  If nothing else, she found it necessary to train her speed. After all, a kunai standing still does no damage. A kunai tossed is likely not to connect and, if it does, it will do little to phase its target.

It was the speed of a kunai, the speed and accuracy, that made it so lethal. She already possessed expert precision and accuracy, all she needed was to hone her speed. 'I must become faster... I must become a kunai. A tool of my master to be used to not only kill the current enemy of my master but to destroy them all and devour them. To do this, I must be stronger... And find a master... indeed...' she thought deeply, knowing it to be the one absolute truth. Death was a prerequisite of any drastic change, whether she liked it or not. To appease everyone is wistful thinking and improbable. Chances were that there would be just as many who opposed her rule as those who accepted it. To discern between the two required great prayer. To dispose of one side required power; power she presently lacked.

The young kunoichi looked down at her left hand, turning it over with her palm facing the air. "By this hand I will change how others view me. I will obtain a master and I will be accepted." she murmured in her typical monotone voice, her eyes void of life or emotion as she spoke the words with complete calmness. Finally she clenched her fist, realizing that the time for whimsical thinking was over. It was time to engage in combat with the training dumbies once more. To take care of them as if they were actual shinobi who stood against her. She would never allow anyone to stand against her, whether they were a pile of stones and wood or not. She was a strong kunoichi and she would remain such. Anything else was beneath her and anything above was within her reach.

She approached the dumbies once more now, rushing at them and destroying one after another with relative ease, her fists solidified with strength and protected by her armor and her gauntlets as she trashed the make shift training dummies as if they were actual enemies, thrashing and wailing on them like they had killed her family. Like these dummies had been the ones who took away her life, took away her emotions, took away who she was. She destroyed them as if they had destroyed her.
