"water.... need water...." Jason slowly walked at the desert, heading his way to suna village, to train and study suna shinobi. how they fight, adapt at their surroundings, techniques, skills, weapons, you name it. Jason's face almost looked like a raisin that had been squeezed too much. Jason had seen too many mirages to not be fooled anymore. Jason walked until he found a small cave. " ah... a cave. finally. please, god. let there be a water pond...". Jason went inside and collapsed to the rocky floor and just rested against the cold floor. "aaah, this feels good.".
Jason thought he smelled something. Jason got up and headed closer to the scent. could it be...? Jason rounded a corner and instantly ran, or more like staggered his way to the water pond. Jason cupped the water and drank it. he didn't care how it tasted or how hot it was. Jason was thirsty. thirsty like a camel in a city. without water.
Jason also cleaned his face and eyes and his hair. after a while, Jason got back up and headed towards the exit. Jason stopped as he spotted a desert storm raging about. Jason leaned his back against the stone wall and wait out the storm. least he'd want to walk around and become lost. while Jason waited, he took off his sandals and wait out the sandstorm to die out. after a few hours, the sandstorm died out and Jason put on his sandals and headed out again to suna.
a few kilometers in and Jason was suddenly ambushed by bandits wearing scarfs that covered their faces, minus their eyes. the leader of the bandits walked up to Jason until he was 10 meters away from him. the leader of the bandits started to speak. " hey you, outsider. give us all your money and belongings, and we'll let you pass." there were bandits surrounding Jason at 30 meters each. each bandit seemed to be equipped with blunt objects and daggers. this would be a piece of cake. Jason's response was to extend his right hand and channeled a chakra chain that was 20 meters long and 2 inches wide and the chakra chain pierced the bandit leader's skull. the chakra chain pierced the skull instantly, and the bandit fell down dead. this gave an immediate reaction of the remaining 10 bandits, surrounding Jason.
the bandit closest to Jason rushed at him with a spiked wooden bat and swung the bat at the speed of 10 and strength of 10. Jason, with his speed at 50, dodged the swing that was aimed at his head and killed by the bandit by quickly taking his sword out and cutting the bandit's chest with a swing. the sword also took off the bandit's right arm. Jason turned around and faced an incoming bandit that was armed with a dagger that looked to be sharp enough to cut him badly. luckily, Jason was faster and stretched out his left hand and channeled a chakra chain from the palm of his hand and the chain shot out and pierced the bandit's chest, destroying his heart and killing him instantly.
an hour later or so, Jason killed all the bandits and at last, when he had killed the last bandit by stabbing through his head with his trusty sword, Jason dragged the sword out and swung the blade and the bloodstains flew off the blade. Jason sheathed the sword and continued to walk to suna. Jason didn't have a choice but to kill them. it was either them or him. that's all there was to it. Jason started to get hope as he believed he saw a very, very, very faint outline of suna's walls way out there in the horizon. Jason started to sprint as fast as he could and instantly slowed down. Jason was starting to get tired.
Jason found a small cliff that held a big shadow that could fit Jason, seeing as it was perfect for him to lie under. Jason lies down and takes a short nap. a couple of hours later, Jason wakes up and starts to jog through the desert. Jason liked the warm weather of the desert. Jason looked up and saw a couple of vultures in the sky. apparently they waited for him to die, so they could feast on him. that ain't happening.not by a long shot.
after a while, Jason felt the entire area of the very sand he was walking on starting to shake. suddenly a big sand shark erupted from the sands and it swam towards Jason at a speed of 40. Jason being faster than the shark, as his speed is 50, leaped out of the way and shot out a chakra chain from his hand that was 20 meters long and 2 inches wide at it. the chakra chain struck against the head of it, and the shark got stunned by the chain going through the shark. Jason then took out his sword and stabbed it at it's eyes. the sand shark turned to sand as it faded away.
Jason then proceeded to continue after that short fight. as Jason walked, he began to sweat at his forehead. if he didn't already do so. from the very beginning. Jason wiped the sweat from his forehead and kept on walking to his way to suna. Jason kept up the pace as he noticed the air getting colder. Jason managed to find another cliff side and decided to spend the night there. he didn't think that suna lied so far away from konoha.
the next day, Jason woke up by feeling something crawling on his leg. Jason looked down and saw a scorpion crawling up to his legs. frightened, Jason shooed the scorpion away by flailing his arms around and quickly stood up. Jason dashed out and headed towards the suna village. Jason was swearing he could see the gates at the horizon. he was nearly there. Jason was smiling. Jason's smile suddenly came to an upside down and frowned as he once again stood face to face with a group of bandits. the bandits stood around him 10 meters each and Jason was in the middle. angered, Jason shot out several chakra chains towards the bandits and killed them all. Jason walked past the dead bandits and retracted the chains into his body. Jason walked slowly as he started to head towards the village of Suna.
Jason started to enjoy the walk now. Jason walked and walked and walked. "geez. how much farther is it?" Jason thought to himself. "who's idea was it to place the suna village in the desert?". as Jason started to stumble, cause of tiredness, Jason finally found after an hour an oasis. Jason literally dived to the water and swam around in it for a while. Jason sat down at one of the palm trees after he took a swim and relaxed at the shadow of it. Jason decided to lean his back against the palm tree and meditate at the shadow that was cast over the palm tree.
Jason thought about what his teammate, kenzo was doing, where he was, and if he'd ever come back to konoha. Jason worried over kenzo, as it was normal for friends to worry about each other. he also thought about koaru. where he was and whatever he was doing, he thought it was an interesting character to fight. even if he was called chain bastard. Jason smiled at all the fun times he had with koaru.
after a while, Jason stood up, dusted his pants off the sand and began to walk once again, headed towards suna. he still had a few kilometers left to go. as he walked, he could sense inside his body that the gates of suna was approaching. Jason kept walking and closed his eyes and smiled as he felt the spring breeze hit his face. though if it was the spring breeze or the really hot desert breeze that hit Jason's face was unknown to him. Jason walked some more while thinking about how powerful the suna village would be. not to kiss up to anyone or anything, he just wants to train there and see for himself just how strong the suna shinobi are.
Jason started to see the village gates of suna at the horizon. Jason's eyes started to widen as well as his grin. Jason began to spurt towards the village gates, but then slowed down. what if they thought he was an attacking enemy? Jason had to slow down and avoid to make everybody in there pissed off. Jason walked closer and closer until he got to the front of the gates. as soon as he reached the gate, a guard stopped him. "halt, state your name and business in suna." "Jason Uzumaki. training aboard." the guard was silent and walked over to the other guards and had a small conversation to them. he then came back and told Jason. "very well, you may enter. just watch what you say and do, and you'll be fine." Jason nodded and thanked the guard as he walked inside towards the village. he was finally there.
