Should I continue? (NK. Borders of Suna)

The wind was harsh today, it felt thick on the snow-white skin of Kiwa as she as on a branch of a tall tree, she could nearly see her breath as she exhaled… “Winter” She muttered out loud to herself, the days had become shorter, and she was beginning to lose track of what time it was, and sometimes she would lose track of who she was. Always using fake names to get across places, of course the people who were searching for her didn’t know her name, but sometimes she wondered if Kiwa was actually her name, or something her parents gave her as a fake…

Sadly they were dead now, and she would never know the truth. They had always asked if she remembered something… Although small parts of her memory were missing, she didn’t care. She was happy with what she believed to be her reality. She watched as leafs fell to the ground in a drifted daze, she loved the changing of the seasons, come to know them very well in fact…

Although Kiwa never made points to sick around places long, she didn’t even know if she wanted to go to Suna, one of the places she never had dared to come to, her brothers loved it… Told her stories of the people there… They were nice to them… But it could be different for her, she never liked taking to many chances, and for some reason, something was keeping her from entering that village… Something told her to stay far away. Stick to the trees and the boarders, as if her mother was holding her back…

Something was always strange about how her gut felt, when she came to a new place, but it seemed like it didn’t matter, Kiwa shuffled on the branch, her skirt getting stuck although it wasn’t very long, the stupid thing got stuck on almost everything. She groaned out loud, displeasure. Angered by the clothing. It was blood red in color, silk and lace, she wore boots, that went to her thighs, also blood red in color, for a shirt, it was white, unbuttoned so show most of her blood red bra, although it was cold, her outfit would come in handy if some passing by ninja would to see her. She would use it to her advantage.

Today was another day in Suna for the newest Genin of Suna and unlike many days El wouldn't be exactly inside of the village watching the gates as he normally did. Today he would be walking around outside the village to look for something or rather something hidden within the sands. At the current moment he would be wearing his usual attire of black pants, a red and white shirt which carried shoulder armor and his Suna head band. Over all of his clothing was a simple black cloak that he wore when traversing the desert to keep his body cool and not burning up like most people that walked around out here.

With the sun high in the sky it made the desert a little hotter than he had hoped it to be but with the small amounts of wind blowing across the lands it gave off a cool area every once in a while," Lets see...if memory serves the iron stones should be somewhere along the deserts start and the borders...but i do not see the landmark that tells me where to go," slowly El would reach over to his crimson red hair and scratch it for a moment before continuing walking around the desert in search of his goal.

Walking around aimlessly in the desert would usually be bad for anyone that had no knowledge of Suna's layout or even the right areas to walk through which was mostly due to some of the wild animals and holes in the ground that led to underground caverns. El however was looking for one of these underground caverns which should have had the ore necessary to create new weapons for his grandfather and for himself as a trial of sorts to become a better Pendragon. After walking around for a bit he would come to the borders where he would growl softly to himself and look up," This is most unfortunate...i think i took the wrong turn at that cactus, but here it says its over there," he wasn't too sure about this map seeing as his grandfather used to use it to hunt and search for ore so for now he was at a loss.

Walking through the borders for sometime he would come across something particularly weird or rather uncommon for these type of parts. El pondered on whether or not he would walk over to investigate or just turn around and go back to his search, but curiosity had gotten the best of him and slowly he would approach the person. After reaching five meters from the unknown entity he would speak up in a way to where he wasn't shouting but then again it would most likely sound that way," Hark traveler are you lost and seeking the village hidden in the sand?," usually people get lost around these areas when trying to find the village so they would usually have escorts, but for now he would see what this person wanted.

At first, she didn’t feel the presences of another until the voice spoke, it was a short distance away from her, but surely scared the crap out of her none the less, with a jump her skirt became untangled from the tree, and with a screamed of terror she fell down, with a loud ’thud’ she connected with the ground, letting out a very angry groan, she scrambled to her feet, and looked at the person in front of her, although she was a distance away from Suna, and no possible way did she think a Suna ninja would be standing in front of her, she blinked, her hair strung over her, covering a lot of her body, but it was still quite curly, wavy almost, so it wasn’t as if she was attempting to hide herself, her mountains of hair did it well for her.

She stared for a moment longer, he stood at 5’8 she assumed, red hair…Red eyes she assumed, for she could only see one of them… He had a bit of a build on him, he wore black pants, a red and white shirt which carried shoulder armour and a Suna head band. She shook herself, he was still quite young looking, younger then herself, but taller, Kiwa was only five feet six and a half inches tall. Although she was smaller in stature, she weighted only 97 pounds, so her body would be small. But the boy in front of her was well on his way of looking to be a man.

She snorted, was she lost? She had just remember what had startled her, his speaking. She wasn’t lost, she just didn’t know if she wanted to venture further, and go to Suna, or turn around and go someone where she knew people… Kiwa burrowed her eye brows, frustrated. “I am not lost… I just haven’t decided yet.” She turned her back to him, although at this point she should have not done so, but she had, and she would deal if he attacked her. But for now she looked back to where she had came.

That old man might be returning soon, looking for signs of whoever robbed him. She looked back at the top of tree she had been sitting on, her bag. She muttered something very low on her breath, and scurried back up the tree, to grab her bag. “What is it to you anyways, Suna?” She wasn’t going to exchanged names with this boy… Not yet, maybe never.

A girl?? A mere damsel was afoot in the lands of the desert and apparently he thought of her as lost but why was she in the tree? When she had fell out of the tree in front of him at first he would take a few steps forward in slow strides until he was now three meters from her and tilted his head for a moment, analyzing her body and stature. So far he couldn't make out the color of her hair although her curves and figure had made him smile only for a moment although he would kneel down for a moment to help her up although when she had stood up he would shrug slightly and return his body to underneath the cloak and stand up as his crimson red eyes continued to watch her movements.

She was an odd one this woman or rather this girl for she did not seem to be that much older than him or rather was she younger than him? The young knight would shrug slightly although he would keep a rather calm and pleasant tone,"You haven't decided on whether or not you want to come to the village? Or are you deciding on whether or not you would like to leave young maiden," he wasn't too upset about her turning her back to him although his mind now wondered why she exactly had done so. He wasn't too bad looking or anything but then again she could be disgusted by him which wouldn't necessarily phase him but it wasn't a pleasant thought either.

So she was going to the tree to recover her bag but in her clothing that was....well that was a bit weird. Slowly he would watch her climb the tree to recover her belongings but not before hearing her asking him why did he care or rather what was it to him he would shrug and begin to speak," Fairest maiden i am simply asking as to why you are out here amongst the borders, but if you may ask why do i care, it isn't like a gentleman to leave such a fair beauty out in the desert...that and well i am kind of lost myself," chuckling admittedly he would raise his brow and add in," And my name isn't Suna, it is El," he would simply give his first same so that if she was a threat she could not track him down.

She pondered for a moment, he was right, she didn’t know if she wanted to go and leave, or to go and stay for a bit… She never knew what she wanted unless it was something she really couldn’t have, but in the end she would end up with it anyways… She let out a small sigh, “I’m not sure. I haven’t decided yet.” She whispered, putting her hand to her temple she rubbed it ever so lightly, slightly annoyed now. Why didn’t she know what she wanted?

“Why would it matter if I’m out here? I’m on no mans land. No body owns this. This is were I am truly free.” She answered, her voice becoming slightly higher in pitch. Then he said his name… Of all the bloody things to do, he said his name. “Look here, Suna, We do not exchange names. To you, I am no body. To me, you are a Suna Ninja. A threat to my safety. A mere annoyance.” She spit out, her back still turned to him… She closed her eyes, fighting back tears, she wanted to belong again… But she didn’t know who she was anymore… This life… Was all she had left of her family. Her Mama and Papa, her dear brothers… That was it. She wasn’t going to risk losing it by wanting something.

She heard the sound of hoof beats, her heart began to race, she looked back at the tree, “Can you climb?! If you can, get to it!” She hissed, as she grabbed a hold for dear life, and scurried up the tree to the highest point she could go, and watched as a man, that man, the one she stolen from came their way, of course hidden by the cover of the tree she had nothing to worry about unless this boy messed it up for her, in which case, she would have no choice but to run… Those people would come back for her… She couldn’t do it.

" Well technically you are both no man's land and Suna's borders which would make you just about my concern and not my concern at the same time however i am not out here to find people or even subdue anyone. You know...you could be free anywhere madam not just on the borders but anywhere in this great world," he wasn't too sure that this girl was in the right state of mind and the way she kept her back to him and only spoke to him like that...well it was starting to make El a little suspicious of her and her motives.

El was confused at first as he listened to her words and took them in slowly like a drink of water or a breath of fresh air. By her wording the only ones that would say that would be criminals and missing ninja but she couldn't have been. Sighing he would relax his hands into his pockets and look at her," Good enough for me fair maiden, i shall be the wind and you shall be the shadows, never intertwined but aware of each others existence," he wasn't concerned about this nor was this something he was going to fight over but for the meantime he would humor her and see just what made her who she was.

Now she was demanding him to get her backpack or was she asking him? Either way as a Knight he would have to help her either way. Smiling he would jump onto the base of the tree propelling the chakra in his body into his feet and ran up the trunk until he had jumped over to the branch where the bag was and quickly grabbed it before swiftly putting it into his cloak and looking onward to see where the hoof sounds were coming from. Whoever or whatever that was coming towards them had this girl either scared or frightened but now that he could see her face he would chuckle and stand in the tree to see what would happen.

As she watched the man pass, yelling for whoever to show themselves she sat quietly. Silence was a virtue that she learned well. After several moments passed, she heard the sounds fade away, and the person was gone. She let out a sigh of relief, closing her eyes, she took a hold of her bag, and dropped down to the ground, landing on her feet in a sort of crouch. She held her breath as she looked up at the boy, then lifted herself off the ground, she brushed her skirt off, and put her bag over her shoulders.

She wasn’t sure what she was going to do… Or where she was going to go… But for the moment she needed something, some where to stay, some where to bathe, eat… She needed a safe place until she could figure out her next move, and she didn’t know where it was going to be. “No one needs to worry about me. I’m passing through… I’m searching for something, just don’t know what it is yet.” She whispered… Her voice cracked almost as if she was going to cry.

She didn’t know what to do anymore… There was always this missing part, a part that said there was something else for her out there, something special, waiting for her. Something that was begging to be found, but she was so lost herself, she wouldn’t know if it was even in front of her. She turned to look towards the Land of Suna…

Desert.. Dry… Nothing really there… Was it worth going to? Could there be something there for her? She bit her lip lightly, and looked at the ground. “What is it like… To belong, Suna?” She held her breath, was it going to give her away that she was a missing ninja? She was a good guy… Those people killing her family… They were bad.

So the man was demanding that whoever was there should come out but that did not sound like a good idea to him. Luckily due to the height of the tree and El's own height he would be perfectly concealed until the man had left the vicinity and the sounds of horse feet were gone he would sit inside of the tree while the girl had jumped out and landed onto the ground, but what was in this bag that made her hide from the man that had just passed? He wasn't going to ask nor was it his business so he decided to let this go and move on but the curiosity would remain until he had left the presence of the female.

Upon listening to her speak again he would be further convinced that there was something wrong with her or maybe she was going through something that he wasn't aware of. Her voice gave off a saddened expression although he couldn't see it in her eyes or body her voice betrayed her the most. Being who he was he would contemplate on consoling her but to what extent if it wouldn't work? Sighing he would being to speak although from his current position it would look as if he was staring off into the distance," Well may the gods help you find what you are looking for madam or whatever you are looking for comes to you," these were the only words of confidence he could give her at this moment while the rest would have to come from her own resolves.

El was confused at her question for a moment although from the sounds of it she was asking what it was like to belong. The question rose silence out of the boy as he looked up into the sky and pondered on her question for a moment, it wasn't an easy question nor were the answers that came with it but it was something he could answer. Taking a deep breath he would jump from the tree and land in front of it and speak," Belonging doesn't actually give a feeling its more of a mental state of mind than anything. If i could explain it any plainly it would be as simple as making friends or finding something you are good at and using it to help others or better yourself. It is a most difficult thing to place although you can belong anywhere you want," his answer wasn't as black and white as he would hope but in the end it should suffice for her type of question.
