Battle of Beasts (IO,P,Shouten if he wants)
Sun May 04, 2014 3:15 pm
Taios left his parent's home and wandered into the streets. The midday sun shone fierily down on the village, the heat to most would be sweltering, however Taios found it enjoyable. His natural affinity for fire, as well as the fire in his soul generated by the Yonbi left him to have a disposition for heat. He wandered through the village, shrugging his way through crowds whenever he found himself in one. His frame was far from the small child he had been only a handful of days ago. He now stood nearly 7 feet tall, and his weight was augmented by his strength. He still resembled an ape slightly, dark brown fur covering his head, his canines elongated. His close encounter with death, thus leading to a heart to heart with the Yonbi had forever left its mark on him, and his outward appearance would follow suit. Since those days, Taios had spent his time working on his chakra control, and throwing himself into ninjutsu. He sought to more deeply become connected with the Yonbi, and use it's power for battle.
As he made his way through the village he cam upon an open area. It was an abandoned building, with a sign "Orphanage" on it, only below it someone had carved into the wood "all you can eat". Taios couldn't understand that, perhaps it had once been a restaurant long forgotten. Inside he discovered no one. Abandoned and empty scattered possession lay strewn about. Finding a large room, which once must have been a common room of sorts, Taios decided this would be the perfect place for what he sought to do. Breaking apart some chairs and tables, Taios blew on them to get the dust off before putting them into the hearth. Once a large amount was gathered, he inhaled deeply and breathed out. His chakra was kneaded and built through his stomach, before lava sprayed out to wash over the broken wood. Being of a liquid rock component it quickly ignited the furniture and despite the large amount ensured they would stay lit. The light danced across the back walls. Taios had pulled all the curtains, and the location of the room had gmade it very dark. As shadows danced across the walls, Taios watched the, move. They acted of their own volition, and Taios considered his life and where things had gone.
He could remember his life as a care free loveable scamp, but it was like he watched it from the sky, not lived it. His heart was filled with rage at all times, and only through deep concentration was he able to not attack everyone he saw. His calm exterior hid a virtual ocean of hate and rage. He had to leave his parents house before he killed his parents, he couldn't even look at his siblings anymore, or they would fall beneath his fist. It wasn't that he cared if they died, he did understand reality however, and knew that the Volcano Nation shouldn't loose members unnecessarily. Because of this, he had taken to doing these daily rituals of calming his soul, and releasing his rage in a different way. He sat cross legged in he middle of the room, arms resting on his knees. Closing his eyes, he let himself fade into the darkness. Only, red seemed to streak through his eye lids, and an unnatural heat seemed to bathe his skin. Opening his eyes, the room was gone and instead was a blackened field stretching as far as the eye could see. Volcanoes reached into the sky and belched ash all through the sky as lava flows snaked across the planes. A single sunflower could be seen peeking out of the ash, it was dead and hung delapetaded, however it still stood. Looking around, he saw what he was looking for. A giant monkey, red as the lava that surrounded him in a large cage. No longer of flowers, but now black glass rock, almost like obsidian, however it must be of stronger stuff for the beast remained locked away. Looking it in the eyes, Taios stood and walked towards the beast.
"WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE CHILD" the Yonbi bellowed in his normal voice. Taios walked closer, and stood. "I think you know, it is time for a rematch brute." Taios said with a hard voice. The two of them had an interesting relationship. Once built only on contempt, not there was a small amount of respect from the Yonbi. He still wished to one day escape and murder all humans, but alas he was a bit more resigned to wait and watch what would happen. A table appeared at the side of the cage. At the same time two fiery numbers appeared in the sky above it, 0 was closest to Taios and 24 was closest to the Yonbi. As this happened the great beast shrunk to be even with Taios' size. AS he did, Taios put his right elbow on the table, and stretched his fingers. The Yonbi did the same and clasped hands with the boy through the bars of the cage. Licking his lips, Taios counted to three, and then applied force. The yonbi did the same, and they began to arm wrestle. It was an odd thing to witness in this field of hell, but it was something the two did frequently. It was a difficult battle and Taios had yet to win a single match. Sweat already began to pour from his forehead and body. Red was all around him as he channeled his chakra and attempted to augment his strength. His flesh even took on an appearance of lave as it seeped from his pores. The Yonbi smiled with its elongated teeth, and fought back. As the veins tensed, the Yonbi laughed and continued to apply resistance. After a few empty moments, Son Goku forced Taios back, and slammed his arm into the table shattering it, and throwing him to the ground. As Taios hit the ground, he was instantly knocked out of his own mind. Eyes snapping open, and a slight disorientated feeling, he thought he could hear a deep throaty chuckle from inside his mind. "fuckin 25.." Taios sighed. Rebuilding the fire, Taios found one of the empty chairs he had yet to break and sat in it, prodding the fire. He sought to gain more control over the Yonbi, but he wasn't sure how to do that. He didn't have the mind for complex tricks, and overpowering the beast had yet to work. In fact he wasn't even sure if he had presented any challenge at all for the beast yet.
Leaning his head back and resting, he contemplated what the rest of his day should entail. He glanced with his peripheral vision to ensure no one had entered the room. He had no control over his chakra while in his mind, so he always made sure he had no visitors who picked up on the Yonbi's chakra. Seeing no one at the moment, he closed his eyes with his arms crossed. He would rest for a moment, and then would proceed to training. Having completed all of the missions for a solo genin, his days weren't to be filled with much at the moment. Because of this, he gave himself this alone time to focus and research his own strengths and powers. Lava was the affinity of the Yonbi, and this was what he sought to control. He sought to have it manifest more powerfully, and use it more effectively. After his rest this would be his goal. Perhaps he could create a powerful armor of some kind. After all being coated in lava would make him about as deadly as possible in an up close fight, he would be untouchable by physical attacks without his foe possibly loosing an appendage. Letting his mind wonder into this field, and the possibilities he felt his mind begin to fall into a sleep. His dreams were laced with carnage, and his days in the arena on his last venture form the village. Perhaps he could build a Colosseum in Funkagakure, for criminals to die in for the enjoyment of the crowd. Also Taios had enjoyed the blood sport. In time he would have to revisit this idea. However for now he would rest, and then he would find a way to allow the lava to flow.
Waking, Taios moved around the room, and stretched. No one had apparently arrived to break up his training, which in a way was disappointing as he was looking for other forms of release. Sitting back down, he finished his meditation on the ground. He focused, and kept himself thinking on the different techniques he had learned and knew of. This would be the second part of his training for the day. He focused on kneeding the natural fire chakra in his belly and blowing out fire into the fire place. He found that he wasn’t necessarily good at it at first, but as time went on he became passable. He would knead his chakra like a pot of fire in his stomach and expel it with his strength. Each time he performed the technique it would get larger and larger. Before long, his blast wasn’t contained inside the hearth and had washed the walls with flames as well. Standing and walking out of the orphanage, Taios released another stream of fire on the house setting the entire thing ablaze. He watched for a while as the building burned and eventually fell to the ground. Walking away from the ashes, he made his way to a more open area.
Once there, he began to really cut loose. He tapped into the power of the Yonbi’s chakra to increase his own strength. He wanted to have a large fire blast that could cover a massive amount of area. Not long he had began to expel fire that was 25 meters long and 25 meters wide. It almost obliterated the forest leaving it as nothing but kindling. He continued in this way for most of the day. He was quickly surpassing anything his siblings ever could have hoped to accomplish, or ever accomplish. Their weakness drove him to differentiate himself from them as much as possible. His only purpose was to get strong enough to challenge the man that had made him this way. Only knowing the man’s gravitational capabilities, he was not sure how to even begin to combat such a skill. Perhaps by igniting the entire area they could start out that way. He had attracted a bit of a crowd at this point, apparently large blazing areas attracted onlookers. Looking at them he recognized several village people, but the majority was nothing more than people from surrounding towns. A thought occurred to him, one that in any village other than Funka would be terrible, unthinkable. As he thought this and inhaled, he exhaled a large amount of fire. The fire broke across the crowd like a wave against rock. The flames splashed to hit a large number of the people.
They all ran, and attempted to stop drop and roll. At this, Taios unlocked his rage, and felt the veins around his body pop as well as sweat break out across his body. With that he entire form became red as he was engulfed by the Version one cloak with 4 tails. His abilities greatly enhanced by the use of the Yonbi, he jumped forward into the crowd. Sending out multiple chakra arms he began ripping each and every person apart. Woman, children, men, elderly, he made no exception. Everyone fell, as he continue to send out fire over the crowd as he shredded them with the claws of his chakra arms. AS the last one fell, he unleashed one last torrent of flame. Stepping out, of a field of skeletons he made his way back to his village. Wiping sweat from his brow he relized his shirt had been burnt away, and he lef the tattered remains on the ground. He figured he would head to a special area he had been planning to visit, and see what he might find.
