The Prophet And The Savior Empty The Prophet And The Savior

Mon May 19, 2014 9:16 pm
Yuriko - Or rather Angerona - awaited for her Prophet, Suto, to join her on the borders of Lightning Country. She had been waiting not all too long, as she merely excused herself minutes ago in order to scout ahead and informed Suto that she would await him once she arrived at the borders, unless she had found something that would cause her to report back before then. She had, of course, not found anything noteworthy and instead elected to pass the time by speaking with Aufero as she sat upon the branch of a nearby tree, her legs dangling off the side as her cape lightly streamed behind her. "I wonder where our travels will take us, Goddess . . . " She inquired, half to herself and half to Aufero as she muttered these words underneath her breath in a whisper. "To salvation, Yuriko. They shall deliver us - and all the others - to Salvation." At this, Angerona would smile and nod softly. "Yes, Goddess. And I will be the Savior they need - Their Hero . . . " She would reply, raising her head to look up at the horizon and the moon which rose over it, Angerona deeply loved the night now and this glimpse of the moon rising up into the sky gave her a feeling of ecstasy and awe, causing her to reach one hand out to the distant moon as if attempting to grab it. "I wish that all the world could experience the same love of moonlight as we, Aufero." She would further muse, closing her eyes momentarily as she envisioned the entirety of the world, at her Goddess's beck-and-call, worshiping their beloved moon. "They soon shall." Aufero replied further, before Angerona decided to finally gaze back and see if her Prophet had arrived yet, or if he had been delayed by something along the way, which she assumed would be common for the older, yet still somewhat immature shinobi she knew.

Her mind wandered now to the meeting that had occurred only earlier that day, just before the sun had set. Angerona had returned to the spot where she had met another wanderer, a self-proclaimed Shinobi named Suto, and had - after a long discussion and small spar - agreed to meet him at the Mountains in a week's time, which happened to be today. She had arrived in her new appearance, which he did not seem to mind, and was proud that he had displayed knowledge of Chakra control to the point of being able to climb a tree with such, also that he had gotten somewhat more adept at his knowledge of the subject. Though, one problem she found was that he did seem to suspiciously not fully accept Aufero's Divine Powers and as such, she displayed them to Suto fully with her Dark Rose Stance as well as Sun Thief, but he did not seem wholly convinced it was all Aufero's doing. Angerona was a tad dejected at these realizations, but nonetheless hoped that he would provide to be a worthy ally and Prophet of Aufero, granting her the first in the following of her Goddess.

Flexing her gloved hand, Angerona sighed deeply as she allowed the Darkness to flow over the palm of her hand, then the wrist, and up to the elbow before commanding it back to her hand, the wispy, whirling collection of shadows known as the Darkness returning mostly inward to her body before she now once more took up a position of vigilance and began to scout around the area, looking for anyone or anything that might hinder their journey, as Angerona was eager to travel and find more to join her cause - more to save, even. As she observed, and waited, another familiar voice rang out in her mind, that of the Knight from her dreams. Whether this was a hallucination brought on by the Darkness, or the Knight genuinely speaking however, was not clear: "You will soon face turmoil, Yuriko. Do not do as I had and allow it to consume you. Gather your resolve and endure through it, all the pain, all the hardship, all of the tears, they are but a price you must pay in order to achieve your goals and desires. I believe in you, Yuriko. You can be their Hero, as I once wanted to be in another world, only this time . . . It will succeed, I am sure of it." As this voice faded away from her mind, Angerona nodded and accepted the words, smiling faintly as within her, a new fire began to burn.

Suto would begin walking, the sun having now set down. He was walking to catch up with Yuriko, who had decided to scout ahead, he figured it'd been long enough for him to wait up. The sun had already began to set, it seems the day had passed rather quickly. He was merely walking ahead, at an irregular pace, a more slower one than he was used to. He was in no rush, especially since he got to take a break from hearing how he's Aufero's prophet, for at least a few minutes. For now of course he was only acting along with it, he'd have no clue to where he'd be later in the future. He merely walked forward for now, proceeding to where he expected Yuriko to be. He had his hands in the pockets of his white cloak, holding them over two weapon pouches connected to his belt. The one hidden by the view due to his right hand held ten weapons in total, though their size being rather small. He held in the right pouch five Kunai and five shuriken. In the left pouch he had four items, their purposes however contrasting each other. Two of the items could be used as weapons, explosive tags, the other two being smoke bombs, which he assumed was used for blinding those around him, thus being more of an utility item than either offense or defense.

He merely held a grin as he moved forward, some wind pushing against his body as he proceeded. His hair was already being held back by a white headband, this being an ordinary one and not a Shinobi's. As he moved on he would take notice of something which may have been Yuriko. He headed there, though there was a great distance. He only barely noticed due to the distance. He began to walk further up, and then took notice that it was Yuriko. "Oi!" He shouted, and began to walk at a faster pace towards her.

The Prophet And The Savior Empty Re: The Prophet And The Savior

Tue May 20, 2014 8:39 pm
It wasn't often that Yaju had came out to the borders of his home...but for a while something had been bothering him and the mark on his neck was testament to this query. Wearing the Grey Haori which covered his grey vest and black shirt, black pants and no shoes; he continued walking around scanning the area slowly while slowly gripping the sheathed blade on his right hip lightly," Where are you...i know you are here somewhere," lavender eyes continued to scan the surrounding area while he outstretched his senses due to the byakugan to find a sliver or trace of the one he was looking for.

The small fox on his head kept a silent vigil as well as he perked his head up and sniffed the air for a moment trying to find the scent that his master had been searching for. He would continue his small walk until he stopped 50 meters away from the two individuals and blinked slowly allowing his animal like senses to take over," Found you...," the only words that escaped his mouth as he slowly walked forward, his pace slowly but his stride begging to differ as he cautiously took steps to make sure neither one had sensed him...but soon he would be within range for her to sense his presence.

After a few minutes of walking he would find himself 20 meters west of their position seemingly staring into the direction or rather staring at where the two had been standing as if he was waiting for something...his eyes trained on the girl but could not pierce the image of her past self, but the boy that was with her was unknown to him. Either way Yaju had made sure that precautions were taken in the event that something would happen, so before he had made the attempt of getting closer he slowly slid on a pair of gauntlets that for the moment would do nothing more than sit there.

With a small breath of air he would begin to step forward before taking off towards the two at a small speed of 50, but judging from their positions he would make it there fast. Yaju would stop ten meters from the two as the dust would cover his form as he spoke," Why have you come back to this place?," his manner of speech being towards Angerona but his eyes would shift to Suto," And you..," his words would fall short as he rested his hands into his sleeves and moved out of the dust slowly," You two aren't welcomed in the Land of Lightning...Leave now or fall where you stand, second chances aren't given," his only warning would be swift and without emotion as his eyes simply stared on the two waiting on them to make the wrong move.

The Prophet And The Savior Empty Re: The Prophet And The Savior

Wed May 21, 2014 2:38 pm
Angerona had felt Yaju's presence as he entered the twenty meter range, so she was not truly startled by his sudden appearance in a cloud of dust and dirt as he began to speak, asking why she had returned and further accused the two - Suto and Angerona - of not being welcome in such a place as the Land Of Lightning, to which she would form an almost eerie grin and jump swiftly from her position upon the tree-branch, landing upon the ground as her cape flowed beautifully behind her. "Now, Now, Harbinger of Light . . . We had no intention of staying in this land of yours, not until we are able to free it fully from the tyranny of the Sun. - But, if you truly wish to take up a blade against me, I shall oblige with my life. I have no fear of death, nor does my worthy Prophet, I would assume." With that, she would make a glance toward Suto, then back to Yaju, with the same grin still upon her lips as her eyes emitted a dim red glow that resonated with both her and the Darkness's energy, her chakra was a mixture of black and blue which swirled around one-another in an almost dancing motion that signified her inner struggle between Desire and Need, between "Right" and "Wrong", between death and life. Aufero pulsed incessantly and, due to the link between Angerona and Yaju, she would speak within his mind in the signature hiss of the Darkness: "Would you truly take up arms against one who only wishes to save your unworthy civilization? One who, at a point, loved you truthfully until YOU betrayed her? One who you attempted to kill once before and was left shattered, only to be placed back together by myself and the First Wielder. She has learned much in this life due to your betrayal, it would be cruel of you to cut it short now." As Aufero finished her speech, another voice can be heard addressing her, this one was soft and heavily accented with French ( A language likely unknown to this world ) yet it gave her an air of mystery as she spoke: "Yuriko, keep in mind our lessons. Clear your mind and if we must fight, do so with all of your heart." At this, Angerona nodded and finally spoke up herself: "Yes . . . Lamina, I shall." and as she said this, Angerona closed her eyes and let out a deep sigh before opening them once more with her expression becoming a firm, resolved one.

It was now that she would spread her stance in such a way that one leg was in-front of the other and both arms were held out along with Aufero as she stood with the blade pointing slightly upward, the Dark Energy from the blade beginning to swirl and hiss, moving from the hilt, to her arm and then further up. Angerona would be the only one to know the technique by name; The Dark Rose Stance. It was an ability she had learned not too long ago, taught by the First Wielder, Lamina herself. It allowed for the Darkness to cover Angerona in a thin yet clearly visible veil of Darkness, covering most of the young Heroine save for her eyes and part of the metal which the blade itself held, the most interesting thing was perhaps that it was in constant motion and as such gave her the appearance of constantly moving - if only slightly - even if she were not. In this stance, Angerona also gained more speed than she typically had. [A total of 95, including the bonus, though with the aide of the Darkness she appeared to be moving at 100] She would soon this advantage, if Yaju truly sought a fight. Though truthfully, she had hoped that she and her Prophet would have been able to pass through the borders undetected, slipping through to any nearby country in order to provide salvation to them, clearly however, this did not seem the case.

Angerona would now simply stand, covered in her veil of Darkness - thankfully with the night having come, providing no worries of the veil dispelling due to sunlight, as this was the only sure way to rid one of it's power. Smiling softly to herself at the thought of truly winning a battle if one were to occur, Angerona would await Yaju's response to Aufero as well as herself. If he did not wish to fight, she would not force him, she had a Prophet to look after and a Goddess to please. She did not wish anything upon them.

As she waited, Angerona's mind wandered to the last encounter with Yaju, and how she had been so unprepared, yet managed to at least hold her ground long enough to escape. She wondered if he still felt as he did, those few weeks ago, or if he truly never did feel anything within his heart, and that his sense of duty was more powerful than his sense of love. Saddening, she continued further into this train of thought: Did he truly wish to use her? Why had she doubted the Goddess so quickly, when it could have saved her from this fate? Why her? Of all the ninja, of all the villages, why must she be faced with this fate, this cursed luck and vengeful former love. She truthfully only trusted two upon this entire Earth, her prophet Suto, and her Goddess Aufero. They had never lied to her, never betrayed her, and had been by her side. This made them infinitely closer to her heart than this man who had used her, a young girl of only fourteen years of age in order to push her past her limits, betray her and leave her to die in this cold world of Missing Ninja. Further, he now threatened to kill her and her Prophet where they stood, when they merely wished to live this accursed place.

"I am accursed, now and forever. If I die here, is it not a mercy?" She thought darkly, her veil thickening slightly as her eyes - partially concealed by the veil - looked upon the ground, her ears still awaiting Yaju's response, as well as her Prophet's if he were to speak. To be truthful, in her sadness and sorrow, she had nearly forgot his presence, even though he had been the only true friend she had since her leave. Allowing the Darkness to continue upon its movements, she would be completely still now as Aufero added one last thing: "Our only ally, a young, inexperienced Prophet who holds more potential than many . . . I do hope for his safety." She would say this to Angerona, however Yaju would be likely to hear it as well.

The Prophet And The Savior Empty Re: The Prophet And The Savior

Wed May 21, 2014 9:26 pm
Suto had continued to approach Yuriko's position. She didn't seem to reply to his recent shouting, maybe she didn't hear him, he figured. Once he got closer, he would take notice of someone speaking. He would look over to the direction of which the sounds originated from. He saw a figure shrouded by dust and dirt gathered from the ground. He'd heard the voice ask why 'you' had returned to this place. He merely eyed the figure, then peered over to Yuriko, wondering what was going on, figuring that the question was towards Yuriko. He then looked back at the random dude, as he continued to speak. He mentioned that both, which he assumed meant Yuriko and himself, weren't welcome here. Suto had already figured that the two were leaving the country already, though didn't take kindly to the threat that was made to him. He merely changed the expression of confusion on his face to that of a more annoyed looking face. He stared at the figure as he finished the threat. "Oi?" He would say, though then Yuriko began to speak. She was acting as if she knew the male which made the threat, he merely waited for her to finish, which ended with her not being afraid to die, and ready to fight, and speaking for Suto a bit as well. While he wasn't necessarily okay with the thought of dying, he wasn't going to merely stand idly by and take a threat. Yuriko seemed to talk like the two could take on this foe. That, and strength in numbers, he thought. So he merely took his hands out from the two pockets, and placed his right hand in a small pouch once hidden by view. He immediately drew it out with his full speed, and launched a metallic, pointy weapon at the one who made the threat, and assumed Yuriko would soon back him up. When he looked back at Yuriko, a rather strange event was happening. He saw that Yuriko was surrounded in a dark shroud of what seemed to be smoke, and he wondered if this had something to do with 'Aufero' or chakra, as the two seemed to differ at times based on what he'd seen. He gazed back at their foe, ready for a fight, and not knowing what to expect.

The Prophet And The Savior Empty Re: The Prophet And The Savior

Yaju simply stare at Yuriko for a moment not responding to her or even having so much as an audible thought, he knew he moment he would begin to speak his concern for her would show and that would lead to the moment of weakness that any man would experience when face to face with the one they still loved. His eyes however remained firm as he smiled and shook his head," Blade...you are not going to worry me with your words or your notions...betrayal runs thicker than you think..you have your missions and i have mine," although this would be the only thought she would hear he would not press his focus back onto the two in front of him.

his eyes took note of the stance Yuriko had made and even went so far as to compliment it," Well have we learned some new tricks since our last fight...i want to see you use it-," he paused for a moment as his left hand lurches into the air snatching the kunai from his direction and held it with a smug look," This really the best you can do?," chuckling he would throw the same kunai back at the boy at the same speed he threw it but aimed for the boys left leg.

His eyes however returned to Yuriko as he rolled his shoulder and took on a fighting stance," Well then since you want to get a fighting style out why don't we have a spar for old times sake? Come at me if you have the conviction to...but do not be surprised if i do not hold back like the last time," the fox on top of his head would have been sitting idly just watching as if he was never there to begin with while Yaju simply breathed and waited for their first move.

His speed at the moment was more than enough to deal with the two of them without activating anything else so for right now he would simply fight them with what he had out at the moment, but also keeping a surprise hidden within his sleeves as well.

The Prophet And The Savior Empty Re: The Prophet And The Savior

Thu May 22, 2014 3:12 pm
As Yaju spoke, Angerona gritted her teeth underneath the veil ans spoke in a voice that was agitated, eerily distorted and altered by the Darkness to sound as if it had a constant hiss about it, or rather a growl, and as she spoke the coldness with which her words exited her mouth would be like snow flitting from her mouth, metaphorically of course: "I understand now. You truly are a . . . a bastard. A liar, a user, among all the other things the Goddess has said of you. I was hoping that maybe - Just maybe - that we could resolve this, that we could fight side-by-side rather than face-to-face. But your words . . . Your coldness, I see now that you never did - and possibly never could - love me, a denizen of Darkness, a believer in salvation, a deliverer of justice and hero of this corrupted land. No, the only ones which I trust with my life lie either in my hand or to my side. My Prophet, Suto, and my Goddess, the Blade known as Solis-Aufero; The Sun Thief." At this, Angerona gripped the hilt of her blade tighter as she raised it upward, though not in the same position as if to perform the Sun Thief skill, no, this was merely a preparatory stance for her attack, which she would hold as she spoke in a low growl: "Prophet, We must put a stop to this villain, by any means that are required." Then, adding to Yaju directly: "You . . . You will pay for betraying me, for breaking me, for killing - completely now - what once was myself and leaving behind a broken young girl who became . . . Who became who I am now. Angerona Night, Savior and Wielder. All of this is your fault, and you will pay for it!" As she exclaimed this last sentence, Angerona would now finally place the blade in the position to perform the Sun Thief ability and uttered in a soft whisper: "Goddess, Protect us denizens of Darkness from the harsh Light." At this, Dark Energy flowed from the blade and formed the familiar Dark Circle around the three of them - encompassing a [25] meter radius in thick black shadows, reducing the vision and eliminating the ability to sense the chakra of or see anything outside the circle, or for anyone outside of the circle to see within. This effect would be within the circle as well, though still possible.

Angerona now dashed forward, appearing to be moving at [50] speed, but this was merely due to the illusion the Dark Veil placed upon her, due to it's smoke-like nature and constant motion, truthfully it would be roughly [45] speed that she dashed forward at and now began her assault upon Yaju by performing a series of quick slashes in his direction, if she had managed to reach him, before quickly using the Darkness to move backward, appearing to almost fade away. Aufero meanwhile began to wonder aloud: "I do hope our Prophet is a decent fighter in the dark . . . These shadows can only provide so much, and immortality is not one of those abilities. - Not quite yet, anyway. Not quite yet." Aufero would - in essence - be keeping an eye on Suto while Angerona attacked Yaju, hoping that he had a plan or rather would be able to react to all that was happening in enough time to provide aide. Because believe it or not, he would be helpful to them, due to two being better than one, in most cases.

Angerona thought too, of the Prophet she had so recently met, her mind wandering to what may happen during this battle: He could help the Goddess and I by defeating Yaju. He could save us from harm. --- But also, he could be injured, lose an arm or a leg. He could . . . He could die. This last thought, however, she shut out as she waited in the Darkness for her next opportunity to attack, reveling in the beauty of both it and the Night as she did so, her frown caused by the dark thoughts fading to a soft smile momentarily, and then into a thin-line as she did so. Resolve was the key, resolve and perseverance could win this battle, Yaju may be strong, but he was not invincible, nor was he attuned to the Darkness as she - Perhaps natural darkness, but not her own. Not the Divine Darkness which flowed through her veins, coursed through her mind and heart, which tore every fiber of her being and then replaced it with another. No, this was much, much different from natural Darkness, and Yaju would likely have known this at least partially by now.

The Prophet And The Savior Empty Re: The Prophet And The Savior

Fri May 23, 2014 9:13 pm
Suto, after throwing the Kunai, began to watch the man, wondering what his reaction would be. He didn't seem to be powerful, due to Yuriko acting as if both him and her could take on the man, but at the same time she mentioned that the two weren't afraid of death. He would continue to watch, somewhat worried, though at the same time confident and excited for the upcoming battle. The man grabbed the Kunai, and aimed it back at Suto, throwing it at the same speed he had just a moment ago, though aimed at a different location. His left leg was the target, so he just side-stepped, once he saw the man throw it. His face grew more serious, as Yuriko had begun to take action. While, one moment he had seen Yaju, the next he could hardly see anything. The Kunai having already safely passed him due to his side-step earlier, but now he was put in more danger, thanks to his ally. He could hardly see at this point, and had been put in a condition to where he couldn't fight.

He merely waited there, making constant movement back and forth, walking sideways and back to ensure he wasn't hit, or to make it to where he had a better chance at dodging. He was constantly moving forward, and had recently gotten out a Kunai knife for protection, which he could use to either stab his foe, or block incoming attacks. He doubted the enemy was coming for him, however, he was staring pretty intently towards Yuriko, so he figured that this fight would mainly revolve around them. He merely headed for them, unable to really do anything.

The Prophet And The Savior Empty Re: The Prophet And The Savior

Fri May 23, 2014 10:39 pm
The words of Yuriko would indeed sting into the mind of Yaju, but his face remained unchanged and unmoved as he stared at her without speaking as if his eyes were speaking for him in a manner. A small breeze would take under his Haori as he chuckled and watched the boy dodge the Kunai that albeit was moving rather slowly, had shown him a little of what he needed to know," So you think you..and that boy can take me on," he stopped only to laugh before smiling," you've grown a little bolder...Angerona was it? Well then let's see what you can do this time around...and hopefully you last longer than a few punches," he was ready for this...he had steeled himself to not show any emotion and to make sure he was prepared to fight her...but why was his heart saying otherwise.

Shaking the doubts from his mind and soul he would brace himself as the darkness rolled over and his eyes continued to look onto Angerona," Even in the darkness...Light shines," his words would fade as the darkness took over the whole area and left him blind...or was he. As Angerona charged at him at a decent speed he would hold his hands forward and speak," This is the pledge of my soul, mind and body, destroy all that stand in my way and sever the shackles that bind the soul," a silver aura overtaking his body as he dodged each of Angerona's attacks before sending his right fist forward at the speed of 90, the result being her flying back and almost into the boy as he smiled. She would not feel any damage to her body, but the force alone would have almost knocked the wind out of her if he did not at least show some restraint.

Smiling he would do two more jabs before laughing," Take away my sight and i have more to fight against you with. My body in itself is a sense...your darkness will not hinder me," his words done he would perform one hand seal, his body disappearing in an instance and reappearing a meter behind the boy as he was continually moving, but he had a feeling this boy could not see as well. Smiling he would clap his hands and slam them into the ground causing a five meter square of the ground to pop up and shoot twenty meters into the air, although this platform would cause Yaju to go up if everything went according to plan. This was a little to easy for him...and he didn't like it.

The Prophet And The Savior Empty Re: The Prophet And The Savior

Sat May 24, 2014 2:53 am
Angerona was, surprisingly to herself, not too shocked by the ease with which Yaju dodged and then finally he attacked, sending his fist toward her at a speed which was just underneath her own, allowing her to jump backward before taking the hit, likely saving herself from the pain which it would have caused, though to be truthful the Dark Veil would have sustained her fully in most cases, as she had learned - though not perfected - the art of mitigating pain and ignoring it to some extent. She yearned, however, to one day put this into practice further and develop a way for herself to endure past this natural limit, past the pain and the sorrows and into Enlightenment with a simple technique. However, her mind was at current far too occupied with the battle and her own thoughts to remind herself of this, no, instead she was focused on Yaju's rather confident - too much so, in her opinion - words, as well as the platform which Yaju now erected and began to use to ascend into the air, though as he did this Angerona would send two Aura Slashes upward, in the form of an "X" before then once more moving into the shadows. This was her Safe Haven, within both the Dark Veil and the Dark Circle, she rendered herself almost nonexistent, she would allow herself to be swallowed up by it if that was what it took, for she was a part of the Darkness now, as it was a part of her.

Aufero was not truly phased by the current events, her mind simply going to the future, and what it may hold, as well as to concerns of her Wielder's state of mind which continued to deteriorate as this battle wore on; It was the Dark Veil that caused this, as it was now beginning to weigh down upon her more than it had previously, amplifying every single dark thought and memory she had three-fold as it did so, she would begin to tire soon if this continued, and be forced to battle on borrowed time. Though Aufero, once more, was hopeful that they would emerge victorious in this battle: Yaju, in her mind, was foolish and brash. He thought himself to be invincible with his power, or so he showed. This was something Aufero hated most, those who would not recognize that they were truly human in nature and that they were capable of being defeated. Her Wielders all understood this and simply accepted it without objection, presenting themselves as powerful, nearly God-like even but never as invincible. They would always go out of their way to attempt to find those that could defeat them, for that was the code of the Wielder; When you have no further use of your power, seek out those who do and challenge them until one is able to best you, being deserving of your power if they do so. At this memory, Aufero would sigh and speak within her mind to Angerona: "Yuriko, if defeats us . . . I only ask one thing of you. Take your life, with my blade, thus no more within this Realm may wield me and I shall be returned wence I came. You, however, will be taken to the Stream and likely your soul will be merged with the countless others. You will be happier there, however, I can guarantee this. He deserves not neither our body, nor our souls, with that gesture you will eradicate both - You will cease to be, in this world." Aufero's voice was soft, but reassuring, though underneath the surface it held an air of anxiety as she was worried of truly losing this battle and thus being forced to ask Angerona to commit this act. Though, in response Angerona merely nodded, it was a sign that she accepted all that her loss would entail, and all that she was risking by merely raising her blade.

"Goddess, I shall do my best not to fail you - I will be the true Third Wielder and make those before me proud. Be it in victory - Or in Death." Closing her eyes, Angerona would sigh deeply for a moment before taking up a small pebble from the ground and raising it within her hand, tossing it in both frustration and resolve toward Yaju as she once more descended into the Darkness and likewise her thoughts. "Is Yaju . . . What a Demon was like, in your world, Goddess?" Angerona would now ask, frowning deeply. Yaju's words and demeanor had caused her to picture him as more and more of a monster, scarcely now, did he appear even human. No, she saw him as a beast who sought only to destroy, only to maim. He did not wish for peace, only war, and this, to Angerona, was the greatest crime one could commit. Aufero replied then, in her normal tone: "Much worse. Demons in our Realm had their reasons for what they do - Most even scarcely put a drop of blood upon their own hands. But he, he is beyond a Demon. This man which you know before you is a Devil, and he has soiled his name permanently with his actions." Angerona nodded at the mental answer, not even recalling that every part of their inner-conversation could be heard within Yaju's mind, but likely she would not have cared. As he was too far removed from her at this point to be worth calling anything but a stranger. It was at this, that Angerona would shift within her hiding-place within the Shadows, but not move, she was merely waiting now for his attack in retaliation to her own and would likely be on the defensive for just a while longer, as she now began to grow tired and weary, and wished this battle to be over. She wished to return to her travels with her Prophet, she wished, sadly, to save those who could not save themselves. She wished to do so much, yet she would now never have the opportunity, as she felt that here she would die. That this was her final resting place. "I am too young to die now --- Am I not?" She would mutter underneath her breath, a chill running down her spine as she continued to wait, now anxious.
