First Day (Open)

"Wake up, Makoto." The familiar voice of Makoto's older sister echoed through his home. "I'm up!" he shouted back with enthusiasm. Makoto had been awake since the sun had risen that morning, he was too excited for his first day at the academy. He had been reading out of one of his fathers medical books, they peeked his interest and he often spent late nights reading them. Makoto closed the book he had been reading and placed it inside of his backpack. He quickly got dressed and ran to the kitchen where his sister had prepared his breakfast and lunch for later that day. He grabbed the closest thing that resembled food and stuffed his mouth full. He quickly kissed his sister on the cheek and ran out of his house towards the academy. 

Makoto was eager and ready to learn. He ran as fast as he could, he wanted more than anything to be the first one to class. The academy was in view now as he sped up. Finally arriving at the academy and finding his classroom he quickly sat in the back of the class. He didn't want to seem too eager. He had made it there fairly early as no one else had arrived yet. He didn't mind though, he just pulled the medical book he had been reading earlier that morning and continued on the page that he had last read. He wasn't sure how long it would be till the class began or how soon his other classmates would show up.
