Shinji had to admit that Lucy's acrobatics, much like her weapon catching, was most impressive. However, he was not about to let himself get hit by the shuriken he watched the young woman draw. Thus, while Lucy drew the shuriken, Shinji formed a single hand seal, Tiger, and began kneading suiton chakra in his stomach. Then, with perfect accuracy, Shinji released a jet of water from his mouth. Said jet had about a 2 inch diameter and a speed/strength of 60. Were all to go as planned the jet would rocket into the shuriken and knock it harmlessly to the ground. The jet would then proceed to blast right by about a foot to the left of Lucy's head while she was removing a kunai. If Lucy continued and spoke, Shinji would drop his hands to his sides, his right one slipping into his ninja pouch and grasp a kunai. Sighing ever so slightly the Uzumaki would crack a brief smile and then speak himself, "I would really not like to hurt you, but if you insist that we continue, then so be it." Upon saying this he would reach up with his left hand and undo the cloak that Lucy had kindly lent to him. The cloak itself would still hang around the Uzumaki, but it could now be easily removed without much trouble. Lucy would soon find out that Shinji was not one who very much liked being on the offensive if he could help it, as a result he would simply stand across from her waiting-he was starting to feel the fatigue of his travels catching up with him.

Aw, yes, this was indeed awkward. Lucy seemed to have stopped moving, which left Shinji rather at a loss-he was no medical shinobi. Thinking rather fast the Uzumaki would move forward with a rather astounding speed and lightly grab the girl cradling her in his arms, assuming she did not move. The Uzumaki would then proceed to bring her into the nearby cabin and lay her down in whatever bed he could find. The former kage would then promptly leave said cabin and go on his way. Frankly, he had some plans to put into motion. All he needed now was time, luckily he had time to kill, hell, for all anyone knew Shinji Uzumaki was dead. However, this line of thinking would be woefully incorrect as would soon be proven.
