A small child could be seen sailing through Konohagakure on a skateboard, the wind ruffling his brown hair. His clothes were swaying as well, goosebumps soon appearing on his skin due to the cool atmosphere. He greedily sucked in the sweet air through his nostrils only to release it seconds after. His emerald orbs investigated the area for a single location: The Konohagakure Orphanage. Green was currently on a mission, his very first mission, and the destination was indeed located in said orphanage. The word "excited" wouldn't be the correct term to use in his case. The feelings he had at the moment were close to slight anxiety and impatience. He couldn't wait to start, yet he was afraid something might mess up this chance to prove himself as a shinobi. To prove himself loyal to his village. Despite the low ranking of this mission, he was going to go at it with all his heart and soul. The boy would get over his laziness and actually attempt a feat, a feat that will set certain expectations for his future assignments.
He eventually stopped in his tracks, leaning on the nose of his skateboard as a means to slow down. In his path was his destination, the place where he would be fulfilling his mission. No matter how suicidingly boring this may turn out, Green swore to complete his task! He kicked off the ground with his skateboard, pulling it from under his feet and tucking it under his right arm. He landed on the earth, consequently picking up a small cloud of dust. The boy allowed a sigh to escape his pink lips before casually walking to the large wooden doors. He rapped his knuckles against the smooth surface the door, patiently waiting for someone to open for him. Seconds passed before a slight creaking was heard, a new figure in place of the door. It was an awfully large woman- no, not in height but in width -who had on a dark pink dress and white apron. Flour was evident upon her features and there was a single broom in hand.
Green sent a questioning gaze at the item and soon let his eyes drift back to the woman's face. The large woman was quick to form a smile at the sight of a Konoha headband on the boy's neck, the sunlight bouncing off of it and into a random direction. "Why, Hello there!" she spoke in a light tone, "Are you here to help clean the orphanage?"
Rather than use words, the newly promoted genin merely nodded, a determined glint being seen in his eyes. For a split second, a devious smirk arose on the woman's face, before it disappeared in what felt like a flash. It put a spike in his curiosity levels as he cautiously grabbed the broom he was now being handed. He didn't notice just when it happened, but right after he done so there was a strange cloth being placed upon his head. It was blue in color with purple polka dots, apparently being tied in what was a bandana. Abruptly, he was pulled into the giant building and pushed down a narrow hallway. Green suspected this to be the where most of the rooms were located due to the sounds of children being heard behind closed doors.
"Well, first thing's first! I need you to go into each room in this hallway clean them until they're spotless! Be sure to empty each and every garbage can in there. I'll return to see your progress in one hour and thirty minutes." she was speaking at a rapid pace and in a business like voice. It obvious this woman wasn't the kind to waste time with nonsense. And if he didn't want to perform the task, she would probably not take "no" for an answer. A box of large black bags were placed at his feet, it was most likely where he was supposed to put the garbage. The second she had left the scene, Green adjusted the bandana on his head and sighed. It would take some time to finish such a large amount work. Though, that would be at a normal individual's pace. He was no normal person, in fact, he was far from it. And so, the boy proceeded to move at posthaste. After picking up the box, he kicked down the first door that dared to show itself in front of him. The children located in the room were shocked at the action, but Green paid them no mind. At the moment, his job was much more important than insolent orphans.
He infiltrated the small room and swiftly swept any dust, dirt, and trash into a large pile. Next, he took a single black bag from the box in his possession, quickly shaking it out as a means for it to gain volume. After scooping up the trash with the bag, he tied the handles into a knot. Before he had done this, he already emptied out the garbage can that was located in the corner of the orphans' room. The boy then proceeded to move onto the next move, carrying all his supplies and performing the same procedure he previously done. This pattern continued to occur until the time had finally come for the large woman to return. By the time she had arrived, Green was already standing in the middle of the hallway, his jeans rolled up to his knees and his sleeves up to his elbows. There were specks of dirt that dotted his face, and every time he coughed dust flew into the air.
"It looks like someone was working hard," she mused, "I assume that everything has been accomplished?" Green curtly nodded as a response once more, releasing another tiny hack here and there. Behind him lay several bags of trash, each one containing the contents from every room he was required to clean. Yes, that's all the trash that was located in each room. The boy let his broom drop onto the ground and threw his box filled with bags towards the woman. She caught it with what seemed to be ease and curiously gazed at the youth. However, Green paid her no mind. He grabbed as many bags as he could, which was all of them, and walked towards the orphanage entrance. He exited through the doors and tossed the bags of trash into the street. The woman seemed about ready to screech at the child, but she had yet to see what he was about to do.
Green formed a half-tiger hand seal and gathered his fire chakra into his chest. The chakra traveled from said area to his mouth, forcing him to puff out his cheeks. In one fluid motion, a stream of fire erupted from his mouth the dimensions being three meters wide and three meters long. It reached the trash of course, and burned it to a crisp. By the time Green finished releasing the technique, nothing of the garbage remained, only a small flame was left over. The wind took care of that luckily, blowing out the small fire in what seemed to be a second. Assuming his task was finally completed, the boy walked up to the women and held his hand out for his reward. She took a minute to snap out of her stupor and fished into her pocket for his prize. Once his ryo was received, Green wasted no time in leaving the scene, not even bothering to take off his bandana.
