[Angel] C Rank: Temple Robbers

Angel had a mission tonight.  It was a ways out she still had 6 hours before her mission.  She was going to have to go stop some thieves at the temple.  Angel never got why people would go and loot the honored dead.  Whoever it was, was going to the hospital in handcuffs, Angel would make sure of it.  But before she went there was no reason she couldn’t learn a simple jutsu.  A ninja’s job is never over.
Angel made a decision.  Until she became a master she would have to continue to master jutsu.  She would learn every jutsus she possibly could and in the end.  She would know them all.  Well not all of them.  But she would do her best until she couldn’t do any more.  She would even work on devising new insect jutsus and puppet formations.  She decided that the training fields weren’t going to work anymore she needed her own place.  Her master lived up in the mountains and had shown her all the hidden tunnels in the cave system of the mountain.  There were many places to safely learn earth jutsu.  Angel decided to start by exploring in the caves by Yaju’s place that way she could return there in case of emergencies or whatever.  She could also use it as her base of operations and maybe if Yaju didn’t mind she might build herself a home up here one day.  Her small house that she used to share with her mother was getting hard to live in.  But something about the mountains filled her with new excitement for life.  She didn’t know if it was the mountain or the water or the air, the world up here seemed simpler.

Angel found a network of caves into a vast underground Cavern that had a small clear water lake next to a stone lake bed, this was the place.  It was THE place.  All she needed to do was set up some lights and she could train down here.  After setting them up she began with a basic jutsu, which was crafting a weapon out of stone.  More specifically crafting a staff.  Focusing her chakra and visualizing the effect she wanted it to take.  Angel bent down and focused the chakra into the earth.  She hated how much she had to bend over when doing earth style jutsu but that was the breaks.  Focusing she brought the staff out of the earth pulling it as it formed.  When it was a proper length she broke it of the piece on the ground.  The staff was well weighted and the right size for her to use.  Knocking it against the ground a couple times she found it was sturdy and well made.  Looks like she had performed the jutsu adequately.   She spun the staff around then dropped it and the staff broke apart.  “Maybe not.”  Reforming the staff she made her chakra as dense as she could and soon had another staff.  For days she practiced the jutsu and practiced using the staff.  It was important to be ready to use the jutsu as well as the staff in battle.  The Bo Staff was not simply a stick to hit people with it was a tool that when used aided in a battle that might be lost otherwise.  And a ninja who doesn’t know how to use her weapons is next to worthless.  After training she left the staff and went back up to the house.  “Time to get to work”
Angel arrived at the Temple just before night fall.  Walking inside she talked with the grounds keeper and got his testimony and information that she would need.  The catacombs here were the resting grounds of the previous Raikage and their families.  Valuables were stored with the deceased that would make any thief cry.  “Well if they comeback I’ll make them cry.”  However even though she was optimistic she didn’t really have a way to protect the grounds.  She had more tie still though.  Going to the center of the catacombs angel considered her options.  Maybe she could design a jutsu on the fly.  Sitting down Angel sent out her improved insects trailing a fine thread behind them attached to angels fingers.  With so many bugs working at once the entire mausoleum was covered in an extremely fine thread.  Focusing her chakra through the tiny threads allowed angel to gain advance warning to someone breaking in.  Angel sat at the center of the web quietly waiting like a spider for her prey.   A couple hours later her threads alerted her to the presence of 2 more presences in the catacombs.  Oddly though, they weren’t entering through the door from upstairs.  They seemed to be getting out of coffins.  A shiver went down Angel’s spine but she ignored it.  Moving silently Angel crept along toward the first intruder.  Observing the person first it looked like an ordinary person. Creeping along with what looked like a sack of some kind.  Angel crept up to the ceiling using surface walking.  She figured if she hid and watched maybe they would lead her to the rest of the things they had stolen.  After about 30 minutes of the men poking around in coffins and filling their sacs they both moved over to a blank wall and opened the wall up.  Inside was the remainder of the treasures they had taken.  Creating a earth staff from the ceiling Angel dropped down behind them.  The sound of her feet hitting the ground startled the two and they spun around.  Angel broke the staff on one of their heads.  This instantly caused the guy to drop to the ground.  The other man pulled out what looked like a ceremonial dagger.  But angel already stepped back into the darkness.  Dropping into the ground using her Mole technique Angel was completely safe from harm.  She watched as the man panicked and started searching the crypts as he made his way to the exit.  Angel wanted him to start talking.  She needed to know why the man had done this crime.  Angel used her earth core jutsu to create a wall in front of the door.  She knew she should probably let the interigation squad handle it but angel felt that if she figured it out it would save a lot of time.  Moving to one of the corners she resurfaced and said “Start talking” before returning to the ground.  “What do you want me to say?”  the man was clearly histerical.  “Look me and my brother just want what is rightfully ours.”  Now that he mentioned it the two of them did look familiar.  Both of them had just died a few days before…right when this whole mess started.  The man explained to the empty crypt that they were the last remaining heirs to one of the Raikage’s families who were buried in this crypt.  They were just trying to reclaim items that they felt belonged to them.  Grabbing the man’s foot Angel pulled him into the ground up to his head.  Resurfacing she looked down at the man.  The plan had been smart, get pronounced dead and get buried with the riches.  Steal the things they could carry and escape through a hidden tunnel.  Everyone would just think that their graves were robbed as well.  But angel couldn’t forgive someone who would rob from their own family.  Angel informed the authorities and both men were arrested.
