Old Friends and New Tricks

By now, if someone wanted to find Aya hiyashi, you would need to look in four certain places. Either home, a little café between her home street and the training grounds, the library, and her little alcove. Considering that her 'private' training ground can only be accessed, and is only known to, by a few ninja not many people would actually be able to find her if they couldn't circulate their chakra. However, since the young medic is currently not there, the best place would be to look at the library.

Aya was looking through several earth jutsu, and while many caught her eyes, she chose Doton: Headhunter Technique and Earth Shadow Clone as the ones she would be trying to learn today. It seemed like the Headhunter technique would be relatively simple to learn, while the Earth shadow Clone would be difficult. Maybe she should find the technique for Shadow Clone just in case.

It took only a few more minutes of rummaging to find it, and now that she thought about it, she should probably check out at least one genjutsu. While she knew that it would be unlikely she would learn all of this today, she could at least start on some. With that done, Aya checked out her items and left the building. While normally, she would take to the roofs and dart at top speed to her training ground, the teen decided to enjoy the crowd and expertly started weaving through the crowds.

However, upon smelling the scent of dumplings, the teen decided to duck into the sweet shop. The woman at the counter was a fair brunette with her hair in a bun, and greeted the redhead kindly. Aya smiled and quickly looked over the menu.

"I'll take some sweet plum dumplings with herbal tea, takeaway, please" she said, adjusting the small shoulder bag she decided to bring along for carrying the scrolls. The young brunette nodded with a smile, taking the order down and stating they'll be ready shortly. With a quick thank you, the teen stood off to the side and out of the way to wait for her tea and dumplings.

((Fyi a couple of notes, Display of power is a skill, and Earth clone is a B-rank ninjutsu, you would need the ninjutsu Spec to use it))

Fen was feeling hungry on his stroll to the library, and so he would walk into the little shop, He looked right at Aya, he saw the pink haired girl, and the headband, she was a shinobi, how intersting, he did not know he knew this chuunin, this was Aya the girl from the time he was blind that he met in the tea shop, Fen looked a lot like he did before, but his eyes were no longer clouded, one could tell he could see, his hair was a little more feral, for whatever reason, when he gained his eye sight, he lost track over his hair upkeep, the marking he once had were gone, but his voice was still the same, he would walk up to the brunette behind the counter and ordered a nice strawberry tart, and he stepped to the side beside Aya, and leaned against the wall as he waited, the smells of the shop were intoxicating, he looked over at the young girl, noted her satchel and ask her "Hello there, What do you have in the bag there?" his question may seem suspicious, but in all honesty he was more of curious, he wanted to see all kinds of things he never got to see before hand, so he planned his next question ahead of time, he wished to see what was in the bag, but he would wait till the first question would be answered before he went asking a bunch of questions, today he wore a dark suit like outfit, his kunai and shuriken he had hidden in various places in the suit, his look was rather well put togther, for most people of his age, others of his age seemed to like to dress a little less formal, but he was trying to make formal more functional

Aya blinked when she heard the question. She had noticed the shinobi the moment he had entered the shop, but had paid him no mind when he settled next to her. Turning to the boy she glanced him over, taking note of his clothing and appearance. He seemed friendly enough, though that could be just as dangerous a tool as any.

"Just some scrolls for training" she said politely, adjusting her shoulder bag again. While the response might come off a bit cold, all ninja kept their techniques close to their vest. It can mean the difference between a lethal wound or a debilitating injury, which in turn can depict the course of a fight.

"I'm Aya Hiyashi, by the way, and you are?" she added after a moment, it wouldn't be so wrong to try and makes friends. Kami knows her mother is still on her back with that, though with the recent issue with her auntie still being taken care of they've both agreed not to bring it up.

Fen's eyes got big as he looked the girl up and down and then with a sudden little louder shout said "Aya!? Oh my, its been awhile, I have not seen you....Well technically i never saw you, but I have not been in your presence for quite some time " Fen smiles softly at her and asked her "Still like to see the sites, I can see them with you now" Fen gave her the smirk as he hinted at who he was, he wanted to see how well she could remember him, then fen would walk up to get his strawberry tart and walked back to the wall and then would say to her "I still love the feel of the breeze"  he smirked over at her and wondered if she figured it out yet, then he would ask her, "Well what kind of training scrolls? i am in need myself, and was about to head to the library to look some up" and he would once more wait for her answer

The redhead jolted in surprise at the males sudden enthusiasm at the discovery of her name. Blinking, she tentatively sent out her chakra to get a feel for the males. Well, she didn't automatically remember it, but it had familiar undercurrents that she could pick up. So she has met this person before...

"I still love the feel of the breeze"

Her brain stalled for a good few seconds, and then kick started into overdrive. She gaped openly at the now able sighted boy. Before she cold react, her order was called out and she quickly went to retrieve it before darting back to the boy.

"Fennikkuso? Really? How'd you get your eyesight back?" she said, practically using her Body Flicker Technique to reach his side. When he questioned about her scrolls, she grinned sheepishly. "Oh, just some Earth jutsu and genjutsu, you know the library is really low on genjutsu. Um..." she hesitated a little "I know some earth natured jutsu, if you want I could teach you them" she offered as she began to walk to the exit, slowly enough to show she was inviting him to walk with her.

Personally, she couldn't say for certain if he would join her or not. Ninja are, after all, very secretive of their techniques, even to allies. The fact that she was offering to show him what she knew was a blatant sign of trust, and considering that they didn't know each other very well at the moment... well, it was easy to see why Aya was a bit apprehensive with whether or not he would refuse. While she wouldn't be surprised, nor would she mind, if he said no and went to the library, she would also be a little sad that she botched an attempt to make friends so early. She knew etiquette, sure, but casual socialising was not really her forte.  Still she would wait patiently for his reply, and accept whatever answer he gave her.

Fen would hold onto the tart as she questioned him about his sight and nodded to her as he would say "Yeap It is me, the once blinded Fenikkusu, some man named Kozai, i ran into him, and I showed him a little somehting i created, and he fixed my eye sight for me" fen smiled, and he would put the tart in his mouth, then slides his hands into his pockets, and he would walk right behind her, nodding to her offer as he accepted, and he would smile slightly form behind the tart, using his teeth to hold onto the tart, he would take a bite out of the tart and used his lips to hold onto it while his teeth bit through it, he followed her at a slight diaganol degree, his hands in his pockets, and his attitude he gave off was like he was cool, he stayed quiet cept for the occasional chewing of the tart, he stayed rather close to her as not to take up to much room in the walk way as they walked, his ears open for any questions, and his eyes open to all around, but they would keep falling back to the red head as they walked, small smirks at her, then they would disappear as he looked away from her

The teen hummed in interest as he gave a brief explanation to his miraculous recovery of his eyesight. This Kozai person sounded pretty interesting, and if he could heal blindness, then he was most likely to be a medical ninja, and naturally that meant she would want to meet him. She glanced back at Fennikkuso as she took a dumpling from its stick and chewed languidly. She hadn't seen the boy in months, and he had changed a lot since their brief encounter.

"Well, if you're up for training, we can go to my little alcove. Not the largest training ground, I'll admit, but it's got a good view and different terrain. I can teach you Hiding Like a Mole Technique or a throwing stones jutsu a learned a while ago. Most of my earth jutsu are pretty low rank, but I do have a few tricks up my sleeve" She gave him a wink before taking to the rooftops in one deft leap "What do you say?" the teenage Medic-Nin called down at the young boy, finding herself excited to be training with someone. That, and it was a good distraction from the tense feelings at home.

Fen would finish up the last of his tart with a bit of a hard gulp and then spoke to her as she mentioned a few different things all at one time, his words would follow like this in his naturally friendly voice " I am always up for training, and those sound rather easy enough to learn, I am in for it, I think they were a couple i wanted to learn anyways, from my last studies in the library" Fen smiled up at her and using his parkour, he would jump up on a local wagon, starting at the wheel, stepping up to the lip of the wagon, jumping over to the back of the seat, and then leaped up the rest of the height to the top of the roof, and his hands would never leave his pockets, keeping his cool appeal, he would continue to  follow her as he had no idea where to go, but she seemed to know where to go, he would whistle a nice little tune to himself loud enough for her to hear it, in case she knew it, she could hum, whistle, or even sing to it herself

The teen raised a brow when he didn't use chakra to get onto the rooftops, but he did look pretty cool doing it. Finishing off her dumplings, and expertly tossing the sticks in the bin on the other side of the street, the teen set a fast but easy pace towards the cliffs overlooking the village. The little alcove entrance was hard to spot if you didn't know where to look, but it wasn't a nigh impenetrable construct of nature, it was actually rather easy to locate.

When Fen started humming a tune she was vaguely familiar with, she started humming along to the parts she knew. Granted, she had to stop several times and wait for the next stanza of notes, but it was relatively easy to keep up. With the music and the pace they were going, it didn't take long to reach a familiar face of rocks. Jumping with ease, she landed horizontally on the sheer cliff and looked to the young ninja patiently, a small smile teasing at the edges of her lips.

"Well?" she asked casually, sitting down with crossed legs, facing down, but still looking at the male.

Fen would smirk at her as he looked at the rock face in front of him up the sheer cliff, there was small enough little bits of rocks sticking out here and there, fen would begin to jump from rock to rock, only using a little of his chakra to help him stick to the small little jetting's of rock, and within about four jumps which only took him a total of a minute from the time he looked at the rock face to the time it took him to get to the top of the cliff, his hands still in his pockets, the song he still whistled would now begin to echo, and he would look down at the female and his whistling would stop as he smiled at her and said "Well Aya, whats next for us?" he kept his smile on his face and waited for her
