The Returnening
Mon Nov 10, 2014 4:06 pm
Altar stood at the door to the neat office known as the Tenkage's Chamber, and gave a small knock on the door. He wanted to alert Xyxer of his return, as well as the state of Amegakure. He hadn't been able to return with anything, unfortunately. However, he almost had hopes to return, so that he would be able to come back with artifacts and other things from the ruined village, that may prove useful. Having knocked, Altar would wait for permissions to enter. If not given within a decent amount of time, he would enter anyways, guessing the Tenkage was there as he had been let in the building.

Hearing the knocking on the door, Xyxer had made his own little mind game.. Recognise people by their foot work on their way into his office. It was a tricky little game, but one that could undoubtedly save his life in the hard weeks, or hell, maybe even years, to come. Currently, he was still a pooper at this, so he did not even bother guessing whom was at the door, instead just inviting them in. "Come on in, the weather's just fine."

Altar, upon hearing approval of his entry, walked into the office, giving a small nod to Xyxer.
"Well, the weather HERE is fine. Glad to be back somewhere dry. Now, in case you haven't guessed, I have returned. As it turned out, Amegakure seems to be a ghost town. No one far or wide there, at least not that I could see. And as such i've returned empty handed" Altar would say, hoping that last part wouldn't ignite some form of rage.

Xyxer heard the words of Altar, and he was rather.. disappointed to the say the least. He had expected some form of initiative from his shinobi, Amegakure.. A ghost town now? Obviously, Xyxer could not just allow such information to pass him by without any further investigation, and of course, the only person currently at hand was this excuse of a shinobi that lacked the foresight to aid his village's intelligence. "Very well, I see. As for Amegakure, there were no chakra signatures, zilch? Were the buildings intact? Did you get to see the chambers of their leader?"

Altar could hear the foe dissapointment in the words of the Tenkage. So then, it would appear he would need to go back if to impress him. Which was now necessary. Altar would answer each of Xyxer's questions in turn.
"Nothing. Unless they were cloaking themselves, I would have seen them. The buildings were intact, but abandoned and run down. I did indeed go to the leader's chambers, and found not much of anything there, of course that was only from a quick scan. I didn't long to stay in hostile territory for very long. I would rather not die in the rain and have returned here in a body bag." Altar would say, his view on the ground.

Nodding his head, from the tone of Altar's voice it appeared that the boy himself knew what needed to be done. "Very well, you shall return and scour the area more. Look for information that could explain the sudden disappearance of a once.. mildly proud village. If you find anything that can aid the village, retrieve it. If you are questioned on your acts, state that you're a villager of Tengakure on a mission. Be quick about it, too, if an entire village was wiped out or escorted, what hopes are you to be against the danger that is inevitably there?"

Altar would nod at Xyxer
"Understood. I...would prefer to not go alone, but if that is what it must be, then so be it. I will take my leave at once" Altar would say, before turning and leaving the office, heading to the gates and eventually, the borders once again

Speaking once more before the male left, allowing him to know he was not alone in the endeavor, at least, not for long that is if he was to delay. "You're in a time frame once more, Altar. Remember that. If you're not back when I expect you should be, which is within a day, I'll hunt for you myself."
