Heart's Desire (Misaki)
Sun Dec 07, 2014 11:17 pm
"Mommy, where are we going?"
The wind blew gently macros the mountain terrain, carrying Akihana forwards easily on her momentum with with her five year old riding piggyback. Even though Arata insisted he was too old to travel on his mother's back, today he had agreed to when the blonde had proposed they make a game of it. Everything was okay as long as it was a game to him, and it was a rule that both kept Akihana on her feet as well as kept her wits sharp. Maybe if she was lucky, she would one day condition him into thinking chores were a game too, but the medic nin somehow doubted that would ever happen.
"We're going to the Goddess Etro's shrine, sweetheart," the blonde replied, squeezing Arata's jean clad legs around her with a playful grin. As expected, the boy let out a giggle, the purest sound in the world to the Akari, and clung to her neck tighter.
"Is she the Goddess that takes care of people who die?'
"Yes she is," the genin explained. Growing up with a deeply traditional family, Akihana had been expected to pay her respects to the gods twice a week at the clan shrine. And despite that the young woman had never grown to share what she would call a personal relationship with any deity. But when she had first came to Kumo, alone, pregnant and scavenging for work or her next meal, it was the shrine that had given her strength. The idea that there was someone watching over her, someone who might care what happened to her and her unborn child in this foreign land had been a comfort for beyond anything else the teenager could have experienced. Lady Etro might be the deity of Death and Chaos but she also restored balance and looked upon mortals with mercy. And now, after recent events, Akihana felt she owed the Goddess a tribute.
"Are we going to thank her for your new job, mommy."
"We are darling, but that's not the most important thing we're going to thank her for," the medic nin added. "Can you guess what that important thing is?"
"My new wolf teddy?" Arata sounded so sincere his mother had to laugh. Stepping carefully over the cracked ground, Akihana made her way into the shrine, still carrying Arata safely on her back.
"Try again."
"I don't know mommy, what are you going to thank her for?"
"I'm going to thank her for the best present I ever got," Akihana explained, bending down to let Arata climb off her back and come to stand in front of her, a quizzical expression on his face. Staying down on her knees, the blonde reached to brush a dark lock of hair from her son's eye before kissing him on the forehead. "You."

It has been months now since Misaki had awoken from her slumber, her body was still unknown to her. Her own power seeming to have override her own memories,What was her purpose now? What was she meant to do? all these questions flood the young woman’s mind. She was sitting up on one of the many beds, her legs stretched out as her upper body was risen from the bed. Her hand covering part of her face as sweat begin to beam down her smooth skin. Her breath was heavy as she inhaled and exhaled. She was in the depths of the shrine,it was a secret little place that those who didn’t believe or know of Etro’s existence wouldn’t be able to find no matter how hard they tried. Her leg would push up until it was bent,as the knee would be at her chest as a soft sigh left her lips.
She would close her eyes as she was still tired, with this new body and identity it wasn’t weird for her to know that she would have to get to understand the very body she was in. Her eyes will turn to her left arm as it was the Mark of Etro. It was crystallized at the time as she smiles it seem she successfully did what her goddess wanted her to do. She will hear nearby footsteps approach as she will smile as Asuna would enter the room. The orange hair girl looked at her mother with concern as she was carrying a bucket of water along with a few rags.”Mother..you shouldn’t be up or even moving yet in your condition”she says softly as she would place the bucket of water nearby along side the bed Misaki or rather Jewelry was laying on.
“I’m fine.I’m not some weak person who can’t take care of herself Asuna”She replied as she will shift her body till her legs was on the side of the bed. She shook her head a bit as she will start to wake up,she been asleep for to long.”So any news?”she asked Asuna. Asuna would nod before sitting beside her mother before she started to explain”As you slept for these months to recover from your body shift,Yaju took over the village and so far been a real leader who you taught since you started ruling the village. He really is trying to live up to your liking Mother”she says. Jewelry will smile in knowing this as she used a free hand to run her fingers through her hair. She moved strands of her hair behind her ear as she smiled at this information.
“So that damn pup chose to finally become a pack leader huh? It’s about damn time”she chuckled softly to herself. She will rise from the bed her bones cracking with her movements as she yawns. She was still tired which was shocking if anything, she will rub the back of her head with her free hand as she would begin to sense a chakra signature she didn’t realize as she would raise an eyebrow.”Asuna were you followed?”she asked a bit seriously at the time as a hand will be placed on her waist. Asuna would shake her head”No even if I was, they wouldn’t be able to find the place unless they were followers of Etro”she replied. Jewelry begin to pace herself as she would begin to leave the shrine. She was following her senses to pinpoint the person the chakra belonged too.
Would come to a halt at the front of the shrine as she noticed a woman here, her daughter appearing beside her. She had no resemblance of being the Raikage or even having a headband on her person. The sun was dim on these parts of the mountians which made it a bit difficult to track if anything. Her sapphire hues will look forward towards the woman, she only caught some of the conversation between the two.”May I ask why a beautiful woman as yourself,is tracking down this narrow road?”she came out with it not really holding much of her thoughts back.”And why are you here?”she asked, the sky will turn a bright blue as the power of Jewelry was being displayed as her power took form of the goddess Etro.

Re: Heart's Desire (Misaki)

Akihana's relationship with the Goddess Etro had been unconventional to say the least. As a teenager with nothing but feat in her heart six years ago, the blonde had heard of the deity as mere hearsay in the marketplace. Too afraid to approach anyone to ask and with bile threatening to rise up her throat every time she imagined the life growing inside her, the medic had tried to search for a shrine dedicated to this goddess if only to find some shelter for a few nights. As it was, she hadn't found the place but her silent prayers to the skies had been heard. During her trek, she had been stopped by one of the special nins and escorted to sign the contract Yaju had nullified over half a year ago. Minimal aid had been provided to her which had allowed her to have a place to stay and have her baby safely, after which Akihana had had to put all her ninja training on hold and look for a job and through it all, the girl had kept looking for the shrine until it didn't even matter if she ever found it. It simply soothed her to know there s a deity somewhere who cared. Akihana still remembered the first time she had stumbled into the beautiful structure. She had been walking with Arata in her arms, for once not crying but sound asleep, a rare feat for a four month old. The appearance of the shrine had felt as though the new mother had passed some kind of test, as if her faith was finally being recognized and rewarded.
Since then, the kunoichi had made it a point to visit the shrine every months to extend her gratitude to the goddess for looking after her and Arata. The last time she had visited had been right after her very first meting with the new Raikage and him issuing her a Kumo headband and putting her back on active duty. That had been close to seven months ago and now, now it was once again time to pay the shrine a visit.
Except she wasn't the only one here to pay her respects.
"Mommy look!" Arata pointed out needlessly as the spitting image of the Goddess Akihana had dedicated the last six years to worshiping stepped out from around the path. Activating her bloodline limit, Akihana pushed Arata behind her in case the apparition was dangerous before taking in the full figure before her. The ethereal form stood before her in all its blinding beauty, and through her vision, Akihana could still not detect if this was indeed a trick or not. No headband adorned this woman, no signs of her being from around the village, only the uncanny resemblance to a sculpture that took its place on a pedestal in the shrine.
"Who are you," the blonde replied with a question of her own.
"Mommy, that's Lady Etro," her five year old pointed out, attempting to help. The blonde made sure he was still safely behind her before her golden brown eyes flicked back to the stranger's. "We mean no harm. We just came to pay our respects to the goddess."

Misaki stood where she had stopped, waiting for the woman to answer her question as she slightly closed her eyes. She couldn’t help but question why this woman, would be approaching the shrine of the goddess of death. She couldn’t really put her finger on it as to why normal people will bow down to this woman. Asuna was standing beside her mother, her left hand placed slightly on the hilt of her sword. But Misaki will rise a hand to tell her daughter to stop said action. They weren’t here to start a fight even if they would, this blonde hair woman wasn’t really a threat not yet anyway. She would close her left eye as she would use it to activate her Engine within her eye,the eyelid will slowly rise as the eye itself was glowing a bright pink. Information begin to flood in as she was picking up as much knowledge as she could. She stood a good ten meters from the woman and child, with Asuna at her side.
The left eye will close before reopening and returning to normal, the woman power wasn’t that great she thought it was at first. Who was this woman? and how in the world did she come to know of Etro’s existence? these questions continued to flood her head. She closed her eyes as she notice the child being the first to recognize her or more so saw the image of the goddess that stood behind her which was formed by her personal power. A hand will put put on her waist as a soft sigh would leave the parted pink lips of the pink haired woman. Her eyes slightly open as she would notice the sudden defensive movements of the woman who had finally took notice of her.”You realize….you would of been dead if I was a enemy?”she says bluntly, she was a Kunoichi herself so she couldn’t stand some others to a extent
The image of Etro will slowly fade as the sky will turn back to normal, this allowing for Misaki to come in full view now. The long pink hair that flowed down her back, the white shirt that hugged her torso just a bit. The suspenders that connected her brown shorts as it was a perfect piece to reveal her long legs. She listened to the words of the woman, bit rude to ask her for a name when the woman didn’t give her own.”You ask who I am? But yet you fail to identify yourself..”she replies slightly. Her eyes keeping locked forward at Akihana who was her visitor for the time being. “I am Jewelry Bonney…”she says finally to avoid bringing up a name left in the past. Asuna remained silent beside her as Jewelry will use her thumb to point at her daughter”This is Akane, she a bit uptight...so don’t mind her”she will say as she adds that on.
She was amused, that she was identified for being Goddess Etro. Who knew maybe it was part of her blood or something.”You came here to pay respects? to the goddess of death?”she questioned as she stood there. Rubbing the back of her head as she sigh deeply. “Well it’s better if you come inside, the sun will be setting soon..and it will start to get cold”she murmurs as she turned her body walking into the shrine, coming to a halt she will look back”Then you can tell me why you worship a goddess who bring death”she said as she awaited for the woman to take her invitation or not. She had just woken up and already she was busy dealing with people, maybe one day she could go on a real vacation.
Would walk in the place, her body crashing down on a nearbt couch which showed the shrine was also a living area”Now tell me who are you?”she asked first and foremost.

”You ask who I am? But yet you fail to identify yourself..”
The newcomer had a point, but it wasn't one Akihana was willing to risk her son's life on so she remained quiet, watching in silent wonder as the shadow of the goddess faded from the sky. From what the blonde could see, her new acquaintance was right. If she wanted them dead, they would be. And yet she wasn't making a move to attack. As the beautiful pink haired woman came into view, Akihana thought perhaps she knew why.
Standing in the shadow of the tall woman stood a child who looked to be around her own son's age, at least from the distance. Was this woman a mother too? That would explain her hesitance in attacking another with a child by their side. Whatever the case, it seemed the medic and her son were safe for the moment. Safe enough at any rate.
“I am Jewelry Bonney…
"Hello Ms. Bonney," Arata piped up from behind his mother, seemingly unafraid of the powerful woman who had just reflected a goddess across the sky. The five year old with ebony dark hair and equally onyx eyes moved towards the front, eyeing the tall woman before bending down in a deep bow. "I'm Arata," he announced and held up his right hand, each finger splayed upwords at her. "I'm five years old," he explained proudly. A moment later he turned to the young girl Jewelry had introduced and repeated the bow with a friendly smile. "Hi Akane, nice to meet you."
"Arata..." the genin called out only for the boy to turn to her with a smile.
"Its okay, i didn't forget," he assured her before turning back to the two females opposite them. "And this is mommy. Mommy says we shouldn't talk to strangers but now we know your name so you aren't strangers, right mommy?"
When the pink haired beauty extended an invitation for them to come inside, Arata slipped ahead happily, leaving his mother to play catch up as she walked in to see the shrine turned into a living space. Jewelry was apparently staying here and for a moment, she wanted to ask why but decided it might be too rude.
"I'm Akihana, of the Akari clan," she introduced herself, still standing as she had not been asked to take a seat. It was clear that Jewelry didn't mean them any harm and Akihana did not wish to do anything to change that. "I'm a kunoichi of kumo, a medic to be specific," she added, gesturing to the Cloud headband that currently rested lopsided over one hip, its usual position of being cinched tight around her waist somewhat compromised by the fact that her son had spend the entire walk to the shrine tugging at it. The blonde looked around the shrine, her golden brown eyes taking it in before she continued.
"I believe death to be a mercy, Goddess Etro is merciful above all. I latched on to her during the hardest time of my life and she listened. Death and life are a circle and she watches over them, just as she watches over me and my son," the young woman explained.
"I'm sorry if I disturbed you," she added. "It was not my intention to intrude."

Re: Heart's Desire (Misaki)

This woman was surely picking on the pink haired woman in all the bad places,a soft sigh left her lips. But she had to admit it was good to see that again, the love for one’s child. She had to admit with the way this world was going, It was good to see those with hearts still exist. She closed her eyes as her fingers will push that pink hair back out of her face with swift movements. She looked towards the sky for a moment as the sun was setting like she had predicted. The shrine was high in the mountains but also hidden from those who didn’t believe. She would turn her body her mind taking note of the child who gave his name before the female did, that boy had a heart on him. Something she couldn’t help but admit too as she made herself into the shrine and placed herself on the couch, her left legs going over the other as her arms rested on the top of the couch out stretched,It was obvious she was relaxed.
She had to admit, this woman was almost as uptight as her sister which was shocking no one normally was that uptight around here. Her head tilted back as she closed her eyes fragments of her memories showing through her head as the mark on her arm stung just a bit. It was like Etro was trying to tell her something. She would keep her eyes close for the time being, she remember her father who never returned to the village after leaving it in her hands. She remembered being reminded of her sister’s death and being tortured for revenge but it was like something else was missing that she couldn’t pinpoint not at the moment anyway as she sat there waiting for her two visitors to make themselves at home.
Asuna who had followed her mother inside without a word, though it was obvious she still didn’t trust the two, As the tip of the sword's hilt on her waist will be in the center of her palm as it would just rest there for now. Asuna was a bit overprotective of her mother if that wasn’t obvious at that very moment. Asuna would sit beside her mother pushing strands of her orange hair behind her ear as she will sigh.”Mother I believe there is some tea in the Kitchen, shall I go make some?”Asuna would ask. “Yeah sure thing, just clean after yourself...rather not get chewed out by Etro again”she replies as she brought her head back up and open her eyes noticing the young boy was the first to come here. She kinda was shocked that boy had nerves of steel. Where the mother was a bit frighten, maybe those nerves the boy had use to belong to the beautiful blonde.
Misaki will listen at the name,a smirk spreading on her face as she nods. But then it turned to a grin when she mentioned belonging to Kumogakure maybe the village was ok with that pup running it.”Akihana...a beautiful name, too go with a beautiful woman”she replies as a chuckle left her lips. Her legs remaining crossed as she sat there, her own body responding as she watched the little boy. Her blue hues will look back at the woman, but not without noticing the headband. That reminded her of when she first became Raikage, she brought the village to population and increased their moral with her reign, now it seems it was the pup turn to continue where she left off.
“Take a seat..”she finally said, with a gesture of her hand to the seat in front of her as she prepares to speak on Akihana’s reason.”You have a strong insight of things,I must understand a lot of people don’t understand Goddess Etro’s pain or even the pain she sometimes inflict on others..but it’s not because she is evil, it is more so because we are mere mortals”she started to explain her thumb pointing to the painting behind her.”It was said, before Etro was goddess of death, she loved our kind...even so much to use her own blood to give birth to us. A lot of people find it hard to believe or even have different beliefs ,but what is the desire that we all want? What is it that our heart’s scream fot? A lot of questions are asked when this story is told, what to believe and what not to believe?”she finishes as she would turn her head slightly as Asuna returned with the tea. Placing the cups on the table she will sit beside her mother as Misaki will nod in appreciation.
Her attention going back to the woman”So tell me about your village? I haven’t heard a good tale of Kumogakure in a long time”She proclaims.

”Mother I believe there is some tea in the Kitchen, shall I go make some?”
The orange haired little girl was hospitable despite how on edge she looked. Akihana could underrated though, the need to protect someone was greater than observing social norm. As the girl made her way into the kitchen, Akihana in turn politely contributed.
"We packed a picnic basket for after our visit," she offered, gesturing to the wicker basket she carried. "Nothing much, I just made some sandwiches and there's a jar pf my home made cookies, but we would love to share it with youy over tea." Moving to take a seat opposite the pink haired kunoichi, Akihana lifted her basket to a nearby surface, Arata rushing in and helping to take everything out as the adults talked.
”Akihana...a beautiful name, too go with a beautiful woman”
Despite herself, the beginning of a small blush began to creep up Akihana's face, making the kunoichi glad that her son was otherwise occupied. Not used to compliments of such a nature, the blonde always found herself perplexed when someone remarked upon her looks. But then again, it had been a long time since Akihana had managed a proper look in the mirror. The day to day routine of life kept her far too busy to spend time admiring or critiquing her looks. "You are exceedingly kind to say so, Jewelry-sama," the medic managed, not quite meeting the other woman's eye.
As jewelry spoke of the goddess, Akihana listened carefully. She did not know the full scriptures, the mysteries that shrouded Etro had not reached her ears and so this was an opportunity to learn more. Etro had just been someone Akihana had come to depend on spiritually, but this woman seemed to know a lot more. When Akane returned with the tea, there was a moment of clinks as the drink and food were variously served and then...
"”So tell me about your village? I haven’t heard a good tale of Kumogakure in a long time”
"As you wish" Akihana agreed, closing her long lashes for just a moment and extending her palm outwords. It was getting easier now to conjure the ball of light that was supposedly for battle but which Akihana had perfected over the months to act as a torch, her son's nightlight and a pretty distraction for Arata when needed. In a few seconds, the golden ball of light flickered into view, floating slowly towards Akane and Arata who were sitting in a corner. "I'll just make sure they're having fun while we talk," she smiled before closing her palm and bringing it to her mouth. In one fluid movement, the blonde had bitten her thumb to extract the small amount of blood necessary before slapping it to the ground in a summoning jutsu. Her powers were still weak, and it would require a lot more practice but she had enough chakra for what happened next.
A tiny snow white wolf pup, big enough ti curl up into her palm in fact, appeared from her summon and, knowing the drill, immediately chased after the ball of light hovering in the distance near the two children. Akihana knew the combination of the pup and the light orb would keep the children busy and entertained.
"The village hidden in the Clouds," the young woman began. "Is at peace. The nation prospers under our new Raikage and the people are both kind and generous. I was not born in Kumo," she admitted, a soft look interring her golden brown eyes. "I was a Kunoichi of Konoha in my youth. My clan was proud and arrogant and I was not raised to ask questions." Memories of her parents flooded the blonde, of stern looks and strict orders and to always, always preserve the family's honour. "However, when I was sixteen, I was indiscreet..."A slight glance at Arata to show what she meant before Akihana continued. "I didn't plan to come to Kumo beforehand. It was just the point where I stopped running. I had no money, nothing to sell, no papers and the biggest responsibility of my life slowly growing inside me. Kumo gave me shelter, gave me a home. Perhaps it was the will of the Goddess that I come here but I will always cherish Kumo as the place that gave me my son."

Her eyes will start to focus on the woman in front of her,It was weird someone who looked so fragile walking in these parts of the mountians. It was weird because the woman wasn’t use to such gutsy women that lived in the village of lightning well besides herself that is. Misaki’s hand will reach up taking hold of her hat as she will place it on a nearby stand. Her light blue eyes taking note of the basket that Akihana was carrying. This woman use to be Raikage,a woman who showed her power by being one of the first female Raikages of her generation. She closed her eyes as the interaction continued as she figured it be as much talking as there always is in this kinda conversation which she wasn’t totally against oddly.
Her right leg will cross over her left as she sat on the couch, her eyes checking the corner as she watch the younger boy. Who she took to be this woman’s son,but the woman looked as young as she did it was odd that was certain. Misaki will listen to the gesture of kindness the woman showed,a smile couldn’t help but spread on her face as she nods”That is truly kind of you Akihana,It’s been a long time since i seen such kindness”she replies it could be known of just how sincere she was as she spoke those words. It had truly been a long time since any kindness had been showed to her. That happens when your in a slumber for a long time with little to no memory of what happened or why you were here.
Misaki was watching Akihana at the corner of her eye as an small chuckle left her pink lips as it felt kinda nice seeing how beautiful this woman was. Her back leaning against the couch as she relaxed. Just by how Akihana reacted the young Raikage could tell that the woman didn’t get much compliments as it was obviously displayed on Akihana’s face. Misaki’s hand would reach down grabbing a cup of tea, bringing the cup to the start of her lips the sweet aroma filling her nose as she loved the smell of fresh brewed tea it actually made her smile quite a bit.”Kindness don’t play a part in it darling, you really are beautiful. You surely can turn many heads if you so wished for it”she replied as the cup will be brought to her lips as she took a sip.
Something caught the woman’s eye,a ball of light was conjured by Akihana. This interested the pink haired woman as she watch the light. It was bright and beautiful something she didn’t see much as her time when she was in the seat as Raikage. During her time she had to bring her village from poverty and make a future for them. It was something she was determined to do and make the village somewhere people could count on it was her way to do things her way,to be the single light that guided the village to salvation….she was the kumogakure villagers savior.
Misaki remained silent as she continued to watch the show, but the next act caught her attention the summoning jutsu. Yeah she almost forgot she have one of those as well, but her summonings were way too big to be summoned in this small comfort zone as she smirked in response to this. This woman had all kinda tricks up her sleeve, maybe there were some people in Kumogakure she didn’t know of yet as she watched the show. Sipping at the tea at the process she will enjoy the hot tea coursing down her throat as a relaxed sigh will leave her pink lips.
Asuna though taking notice of the ball of light and pup,she tried to fight the urge but without further a do she chased after the two. This left Misaki unguarded for now,but she would watch her daughter have fun when she wasn’t a uptight brat. Closing her eyes for a second before opening them to took towards Akihana”Nice set of skills you have there”she complimented as she sipped at her tea once more so far being thoroughly impressed with Akihana’s skills so far though they could be matured.
Would keep quiet as she allowed the woman to tell her about the village,it started off about peace. Kumogakure was always at peace under her rule, she normally never did anything to hinder that. The village was a place she built from the ground up,to be the foundation that was Kumogakure now.”New Raikage? so what happened to the old one?”she asked first of all as there was something she wanted to test,on just how well the woman knew of her own village. She continues to listen now as further detail is said about not being born in Kumogakure,Misaki wasn’t going to interrupt the tale as she did ask for it.
“The world is like chess, you make one move but you are stuck unable to make the next”she started to explain.”Though you are a shinobi of Konoha,It doesn’t make you less of a Kumogakure Kunoichi. You came from a past that is full of hardships but all you can do is move forward”she continued as she looks into the cup with the rippling tea.”Slight changes can oocur at a moment notice but it is always asked, what will you do now? Will you carry your past to your future? or make a future where your past doesn’t exist?”she asked though she herself even found it difficult after losing her sister and her father never returning it was hard for a young girl to grow up alone.”I’ll tell you a story of a certain girl, byt the name of Misaki Ametsuchi…”she said softly. Her daughter obviously looking back at this,as a bit of worry filled those eyes,Misaki just returned a smile towards her worrying daughter.

”Kindness don’t play a part in it darling, you really are beautiful. You surely can turn many heads if you so wished for it”
The reaffirmation of the compliment brought a darker blush to Akihana's otherwise porcelain cheeks. Had she ever turned any heads in her life, probably not. And if she had it was the wrong one. Still her mistake of years ago was the reason she had a son which only proved that Goddess Etro indeed worked in mysterious ways. How something so beautiful could come from such a terrible lie was not for mere mortals to understand.
When Jewelry commented on her skills, Akihana couldn't hep but let out a silvery laugh. Most people found the blonde kunoichi's skill set unusual, very few praised it. "What can I say, I am a mother first and Kunoichi second. I had to learn to keep him occupied and practice jutsu at the same time." The softness with which she conveyed it spoke of deeper feelings, feelings the pink haired beauty would no doubt understand as it had to do with being a parent. Akihana hadn't made a single decision with solely her own needs in mind for about six years now. Every decision, every reason, every step she took, she had to keep Arata in mind and how it would affect the boy. Something Jewelry no doubt understood as she was a mother too.
”New Raikage? so what happened to the old one?”
"I never knew her personally," Akihana admitted, golden eyes turning soft at the thought of the woman who had held the office before. "But Yaju-sama speaks very fondly of her," she added with a hint of a smile curling her dusky pink lips. "He seems to be under the impression that I will meet her someday. He told me to pass a massage to her when I do see her, something about a young pup taking charge." Akihana had been drunk on both wine and euphoria that night but she remembered his words, of how Misaki was an inspiration and she would help Akihana. the medic found herself wishing that wherever the former Raikage was, she was safe and sound.
As talk turned to the past and present, Akihana's features creased into a thoughtful expression, the kunoichi pulling her feet under her to sit demurely on her knees as opposed to Jewelry who preferred sitting with legs crossed. For a moment, the blonde couldn't help but look at her host's long, unblemished legs. Unblemished skin on a ninja meant that either they were powerful enough to never get hurt or a medical ninja with abilities to heal flesh wounds without leaving a scar.
Akihana suspected Jewelry was both.
"My past was one full of troubles, but it also gave me the most precious thing I have," she stated calmly. "Therefore I will not completely forget it. But I have moved on and am working hard for a future that will keep my son happy and safe. I look forwards to a future where I can be a contributing member to Kumo, where I can help those in need... No one in this world deserves to feel all alone and as long as I'm here, I would like to ensure that no one ever does... Not even you," she finished hesitantly, something in her sensing that this woman hadn't been shown nearly as much kindness as she should have.
As Jewelry began her tale of the former Raikage, Akihana made herself comfortable, taking a cushion and hugging ti to herself as she listened intently to what the pink haired kunoichi had to say.

Re: Heart's Desire (Misaki)
Wed Dec 17, 2014 12:22 am
Misaki allowed her words to sink in as she meant everything she said, the woman not far from her was extremely beautiful she haven’t saw such beauty in a long time. Her lips parted slightly as she will sip at her tea as she brought it up to her lips to do so. Closing her eyes as she loved the sweet heated liquid massaging her throat as it would be night by this time as the moonlight will shine through the small opening in the door. Her hand with the cup will lower as she puts the cup on the surface of the table slightly as she haven't had company which seemed like ages so it was good to see other people who could even see this shrine..She will get comfy in the couch as her long legs remained crossed as that refined skin of her’s gently rubbed against one another.
She remained seated as she was completely relaxed, her body warmed up from the tea she swear it made her skin crawl. She made sure to listen out for the woman’s reply making sure she heard every word that left those pretty little lips of the blonde. She really did understand though, she got strong to protect what was precious to her to avoid losing anything else,so the emotions she felt was there. She felt the same with the village in her reign,it was like a newborn in her care. She raised it as her own,for being so young Misaki understood the duties of a parent all too well but what could she say,she was a natural born leader and now a mother now,she and Asuna been through so much together it was insane.
“Thats really good to here,I must admit i had to do the same thing for my dear Akane though she almost look as old as me….that will be explained later though”she chuckled as she was amused in some way probably to have someone who she could sit down with and talk. But she will calm down as the explanation of herself begin to be given. She listened closely a soft chuckle leaving her lips as she listens to the reply and nods”Someday you will meet her and you possibly can judge her for yourself..I hear she was real beauty for someone so young”she replied as she relaxed it should be bad...to feed your own ego,but sometimes you just needed that boost here and there.
Misaki couldn’t help but notice Akihana’s attention on her,she tilted her head to the side as she smiled. She was enjoying the attention, not every strong person can be scar free it was just how she was. Especially remembering having that damn grizzly as her team mate it was annoying though she didn’t get along with Olivier, they were one hell of a team. Memories fading into her mind as she thought of a lot of her past events though some stuff was still blurry she was shocked to remember who she was that was the first thing that people forget in these situations is who they are.
The words of Akihana showed a lot of knowledge of what it meant to be in pain. What it meant to actually feel alive, she couldn’t help but respect that. She continued to listen making sure not to interrupt the woman out of respect, her eyes widen slightly as the last part was said,a smirk spreading on her face in the process as she shakes her head”Some people just lose everything,to the point they abandon their friends and own village to not let their harsh decisions affect what they love,we can’t all be heroes”she replied.
Misaki would begin to get relaxed as she began the story of herself, but maybe this woman could truly understand”Where to begin..right”she started off. Looking towards the ground a long sigh leaving her”Misaki Ametsuchi..a young born in Kumogakure, she had a wonderful family at one time. She had a older sister who was her role model, everything her sister did she wanted to follow and be great in her father eyes like her sister was”she started now.”Misaki grew up in the shadow of her sister, where her sister excelled at,she simply was average...combat and actually befriending others. Your probably questioning how did such a girl become a leader?”she paused for a second to take a sip of her tea.”Well on her fifteenth birthday,Misaki sister died….in battle,in a fight to change the world to make it peaceful for her little sister to grow in,but her dreams was shut down with her death”she stopped allowing Akihana to absorbed the story so far.
“Misaki was jounin at the time being only fifteen, you would thought she was a prodigy if anything...she fought to get stronger for the world’s number one enemy revenge,So the only family member she had left was her father the only prime for her to keep her sanity. She lost her mother and sister already, what else could this young girl lose?”she questioned.”Everything...she was one day summoned to her father side, and gifted the title of Raikage. If i remember correctly what she told me. He told her I will only be gone shortly to be a better father to you and when i return we will run Kumogakure together,he did left though the young Misaki was left alone she held onto hope and started to change the village for the better”she paused once more.
“Days,Months passed still that young girl held onto hope for her father return. But she was left alone, revenge becoming the only thing that kept her alive, that’s when Goddess Etro stepped in gave her the curse,it was a warning from the goddess warning her of the path she was about to take..she will be the very monster she was aiming to destroy. So young left alone with nothing but revenge against those who took what was the most important to you away, what was a child to do?”she explains.”But one thing was known about this girl, you may question how did such a girl run a village alone? well Misaki loved Kumogakure it was everything to her,it was the last legacy she had from her family because it was here where it all began”she says her eyes showing a bit of emotion as if it was hitting her hard.
“If you ever do find that young girl, just remind her she isn’t alone. Remind her that revenge isn’t the way to go,remind her of all the friends she have in the village and those who stuck with her. But overall remind her that the future of Kumogakure started in her hands,no matter the pain she went through she will always be Kumogakure savior”she finishes tears started there course as they begin to stain her own cheeks as she sighs. Maybe it was what all she needed now..was to have someone put her on the right course, and make her that little girl again though….she was eighteen now.
