Akira grinned and gave the door a swift kick. If people were inside it the obvious move would've been to lock it, the easiest way to open it? Knock it down. But much to Akira's surprise the door had almost no give in it at all and the door just swung open violently and clattered against the wall. Scaring the absolute shit of out a completely white cat in the process.
As the cat bolted up the stairs at what seemed like the speed of sound, little bells on the cat's collar jingled as it scurried off up a set of stairs. Akira looked around. Huh. This place wasn't locked either, seemed as if whoever last came here was either really absent-minded. Or they were expecting someone to patrol this place eventually.
The interior was amazing however. Very traditional with a whole bunch of shoji screens and tatami flooring. If anything it felt disrespectful to wear shoes indoors here. But for the sake of his own safety he was going to keep them on.
It didn't look too bad inside, white was a very dominant theme here. Lots of ink paintings littered the walls along with scrolls. -Scrolls! That'd give them the chance to identify which clan last owned this place. Akira picked a scroll off the wall and placed it on a dresser. Reading it aloud. "Hazama Shinkou shrine...This is one of my clan's shrines." Akira spoke very simply, but in a tone which anyone could tell was very solemn. And that must have also been what a lot of the paintings were about. A man with the deepest blue eyes - wearing white armor with obsidian black hair. This man - who looked a lot like our hero - was one of Akira's direct ancestors and infact the man who forged the sword he had on him.
"I'm gonna go take a look." Akira simply spoke, his tone sounding a lot less friendly and more extremely bothered as he made his way towards what appeared to be the lobby. Nothing out of the ordinary here apart from the fact no one was here again. No bloodstains either. But as he approached he saw a piece of paper, yellowed from how long it was left around.
"21st September - XXXX - We moved out. If any clan member reads this. Make sure the shrine is restored. Also there are way too many cats in this place..."
Akira's chuckled. Full of cats. But the date. The date was 3 years ago. So he asked himself how exactly the bloodstains outside came to be. But for once his entire family was not dead. And they appear to have relocated to the clan's village, the Abyss.
"Place is full of cats apparently. No idea why they moved out though."

"Cats?" Coco almost shouted pulling her Katana from her Umbrella's sheath. "Stay sharp! They may have been the ones who killed everyone in the temple." Cautiously she moved in the direction the white cat ran off to. "I had to deal with Ninja Cats back in Amegakure. One was even wielding a sword." That story had never seemed weird to her until she said it out loud.
"Don't let their cute looks disarm you, they'll push ya off a skyscraper Lickidy split." Again that story didn't seem weird until she said it out loud. She looked over at Akira who just looked utterly shocked. Poor guy strong as he may have been, just wasn't ready to handle this many cats. Obviously his people in the temple weren't ready for it either. They needed back up!
"Don't worry! There is more one way to skin a cat!" She shouted. Her diplomatic visage dissolving quickly, giving way to her ridiculous inner nature. She cut her Thumb upon her sword. Delicately she placed her umbrella, and blade down on the ground. She began performing the seals for a summoning Jutsu. "The Terror of the Amegakure Jungle Kasunda of the Hazy Sky shall clear your families Temple!" She Slammed her bloody Palm upon the ground, and in a puff of Smoke a twenty foot long Black Salamander appeared!
His slimy body stood proudly upon the clean wooden floors of the Temple. Around his neck was ridiculously large red cape. The Amphibian spun around to Coco. "A Descent Introduction for my first summoning!" His Salamander Voice was impossibly British. "Next time I expect my heralding to be twice as long! Now Who shall the Great Kasunda Slay on this day?"
Coco picked up her own blade, and pointed in the Direction of where the White Cat Fled. "Cats Kasunda! From what I've gathered they are armed and Dangerous!"
"Cats?" Kasunda roared glaring at Coco. "You summon my Glory for Cats!?! I shall swallow them all in a single gulp. Then we will have a long talk about how Glorious a battle must be before I enter it!"

Akira raised his head when he heard Coco shout, she drew out the sword immediately. These were just cats, surely? Nice adorable, purring balls of fur and mischief. Akira loved cats. He'd have to stop to pet every cat that he saw as an impulse reaction. He literally had no control of it. Something just drew him to them. "You're not gonna kill the cats are you?" Akira asked, with some worry in his voice.
Akira raised an eyebrow when she mentioned fighting a ninja cat with a sword. Was she on drugs or? He couldn't quite tell. "Coco. I don't think I can fight a cat..." He panicked with anguish as he looked around, he couldn't here them. Of course he couldn't, they were cats and they moved with a silence that no Human could ever replicate.
"We're not skinning a cat!" He insisted. Now she was just getting ridiculous, and quite frankly. He was too. He wasn't prepared to take out an animal which was more than willing to take his life.
And now she seemed to be going absolutely beserk. This woman who he saw only moments ago cower and blush upon the sight of him was now going stir crazy enough to actually summon something pretty disgusting.
"EW! What the fuck is that!?" He flipped out, not quite knowing what on earth she just summoned. It was like a lizard only really, really slimy. Amphibians weren't up his alley whatsoever. Ironically he was more into the fluffy kind of animals.
And this thing even had a British accent, when would this insanity end?
He was even more displeased when the Salamander mentioned eating the cats, in one gulp no less. The thought seriously unnerved Akira, who made a beeline up the stairs and opening the first door. Behold, a room literally full of cats of various species, sizes shapes and colors. "Aw..." He cooed, his heart almost melting from the cute. The cats had other ideas though. And they all ended up swarming him in a massive rush of fluff and hisses. None of these cats seemed to have weapons but they had claws and they all swiped furiously at him.

Those feisty Felines were ferociously fighting her friend! Coco could not let that stand! "Kasunda we have to defend Akira!" With her salamander in tow she ran to Akira, who was quickly being swarmed by cats! Kasunda of course left a trail of slimy footsteps in his wake. "Akira Hold your Breath!"
Of course Kasunda and her being the crack team they were. It was only seconds after she shouted that, that A large Cloud of Blue Poison flew up the stairs and began filling up the recently opened room. Causing all of the cats to fall asleep. "Haha!" Kasuda would shout. "My Poison could put to sleep a Water Buffalo!"
Coco coughed, and coughed. Blue vapor flowing from her mouth. "You were suppose to wait for my singnal!" She coughed. She felt the poison take hold, and consciousness quickly faded form her. "You're the worst." Her body went slack, and she fell down the stairs, like a sled. Banging her head on every possible step.
[strength to resist the poison is 60. If ya don't hold your breath.] ;D

As he was being mauled by the cats, Akira felt more joy than pain, he couldn't help but laugh even though they were pretty much all furiously scratching at him. He didn't mind. He was merely engulfed in the wrath of about 100 fluffy cats. It was however, so so painful.
He then heard Coco shout out to hold his breath, and he didn't like the sound of that at all, and by taking even the slightest of breaths he could tell that she let loose some kind of poision. The cats had a much lower tolerance to it than he did. He had to defumigate this place, he couldn't let these cats die while they were all locked out.
He held his breath longer and performed a series of handseals. "Fuuton! Juuha Reppusho!" He hollered, Akira's large chakra threshold meant that this C-rank jutsu was more powerful than he had anticipated it to be. And the massive gust of wind not only opened the windows but blew all the poison outside, the cloud of noxious gas rising into the sky. But also the cats were blown out of the window too. They'd survive a 1 story fall, all of them. But the fact that the temple looked like it exploded with cats from the inside out was probably quite alarming.
He also heard Coco fall down the stairs, obviously not quite gauging how powerful her poison actually was. "Coco!"
Rushing down the stairs he quickly picked up Coco bridal style and rushed her out of the back door and into the garden, in the opposite direction of where he sent the poisonous cloud. He then kneeled down, placing the back of her head against his knees and checked for a pulse. "Coco are you ok!?"

(Option One)
Grogily Coco's eyes fluttered open. Oh how she hated Kasunda. Slowly Akira's face came into focus. She gazed up into his dark blue eyes. She blushed, and smiled. "Now I am."
(Option two)
Coco's eyes flew open. Her heart pounding! Above her the vision of Akira calmed her down. His words gave her a second wave a relief. The cats had been defeated. "Yeah." She sighed turning her head to the side. "I just really hate cats."

Akira couldn't help but smile and feel relieved when she woke up from her toxin-induced slumber. What she really needed was some rest. Akira had to leave the temple as it was to air it out, he planned on coming back here later.
What he didn't expect however was how slick she'd be. A pretty good-sized pink blush illuminating his cheeks. "O-Oh...Well..." He stuttered, not quite sure how to respond to that, damn - she was pretty good cause he couldn't recall the last time being this flattered. "C'mon, let's get you home."
