Lost in the Darkness (Training Fen & Light ) Empty Lost in the Darkness (Training Fen & Light )

Fri Jan 09, 2015 11:30 pm
As the sun softly broke across the mountains and brought in a sharp sunlight that easily pierced the morning sky, with the sign of a new day. Sayu found himself trapped under the canopy of trees that shield the holy blaze from the ground and casted an endless darkness around him. His eyes had long ago adjusted to the lack of light as he made his way through the Black Forest. Many people of Kumogakure dared not to adventure into the forest because of how dark it was, but many of the village’s ninja thought of it as a safe haven for them to practice their jutsus without the fear of civilian getting in their way. It wasn’t often that Sayu received request to adventure out into the forest and help other ninjas but as of late, the willing and able ninjas had been busy with missions and task that had to be complete and Sayu was currently low on errands to run. Besides it wasn’t often that an order like this one came along, the details had been kept to a need to know bases and the what was required to complete the mission was as well. Sayu’s curiosity alone had sold him on the task as he took the scroll and followed the directions that had been given to him.

The meeting location was written down in as a coordinate, which Sayu found to be slightly odd since most people didn’t know how to read it, and it was considered to be a higher level of training. This fact alone didn’t bother Sayu since his Sensei was actually quite skilled in the art and normally set up training locations in the same manner. Though Sayu interested had seemed to peek even more as he slowly made his way closer to the destination. It was about a few miles deep into the forest and where some of the trees seemed to slightly thin out and create a small opening of light on the ground. At first it was slightly blinding to Sayu, being that he had spent the last hour or so in complete darkness; but it was also a warm welcome to see the scenery around him without having to activate his Byakugan and waste pointless chakra. A light sigh parted his lips as he took note of all of the things around him. There was a small pool of water that sat in the middle of the clearing. Off to his far right was a thick group of trees that seemed to lead back into the endless darkness and to his left was a cave.

Sayu slowly allowed his gaze to switch from the clearing and back to his map as he took another glance at the coordinates one final time. It would seem that the meeting location for his contact was the inside of the cave, well right at the entrance of the cave anyway. Sayu slightly debated on whether or not the meeting location was the at the top of the cave or actually in the cave. Either way he was still about twenty minutes early and had a little time to rest before actually trying to figure it out. He slowly took a deep gulp of his water as he sighed softly and stretched his body before removing his backpack from his shoulders. He had decided to travel light since he wasn't actually going that far and if need be it wouldn't take more than an few hours to adventure into town and get supplies besides from what he was able to gather he was here mostly for support and am off chance that he actually might be able to learn a thing or two.

Fen had once more awoken from his sleep, and was on the floor, his dreams have been getting more and more violent, and he was waking up with bruises now, this had to end soon, but how soon Fen was not sure about, but he would get up and remember, today was the day he was supposed to meet with a new face to him, and they had to take care of some beast in the cave, fun, fen places his Phoenix armor on, and then his arms was adorned with Gilgamesh, his pouches filled with the starter kit, and with his two books, by this point Fen had memorized everything there was to do with those two books, but it was good to stay brushed up on them if reading was needed, he would skip breakfast as he was waking up late due to his fight with this demon of his has been more physical now, and been harder to sleep now too, when was fen going to stand up to this pest, fen would let out a sigh as he walked out of the village, pulling the scarf mask like thing up half way up his nose, then he would begin running, trying to get to the black forest.

Upon arriaving at the black forest, fen had ran into quite a few of the creatures that lurked in the forest, and they were each rather tideous to defeat, Eventually, already beat looking, bruised and cutted all up, fen would make it to the cave entrance, just in time to see a kid as if he had just arriaved too, Fen would walk forward and introduced himself, offering a hand to shake "Greetings, My Name if Fen, may I ask yours?" Fen was ready to get on with this mission and get over with, little to his knowledge was that the creature they were going to fight, was a dragon, this was going to be fun once they knew that bit of handy knowledge, and with that Fen was now waiting on this kid

Lost in the Darkness (Training Fen & Light ) Empty Re: Lost in the Darkness (Training Fen & Light )

Wed Jan 14, 2015 8:19 pm
Sayu was slightly taken back by the fact that he had about twenty minutes before he was supposed to be there, he softly allowed his hand to form the seal of the wind jutsus that his Sensei Gin had showed him. He softly began to focus his mind on his hand as he softly moved his finger in a manner that was used to focus the chakra as he was instructed to do so and aim. For a second it would seem that a light breeze had formed at Sayu’s hand but the upon a second thought about it, maybe he was just over thinking it as he felt a light breeze push against his face. This technique was supposed to be enough to slice stones, chop trees, and split enemies into half, well that was how Gin had explained it to him anyway. With a light grunt he knew that he wasn’t going to be able to get anything accomplished while sitting and down; he wasn’t exactly at the fore front of mastering this jutsu, beside it was still about eighteen minutes until it was time for the actually meeting time, and Sayu figured that meant that the man who he was sent to aid would probably be here either about ten minutes early or late. Normally most of them fail on the ten minutes early side and didn’t require much for him except to carry bags. The whole idea of being a bag boy made Sayu tense up as he slowly began to stretch his body from one side to the other. He slowly bent his back in a manner that allowed him to touch his knees with his forehead as he slowly counted to twenty in his mind before flipping his body up into a handstand. While in the hand stand he would force himself to knock out three sets of push up while in the position. When his feet final were lowered back down to the earth he would find that only a couple of minutes had passed and that he still had about three minutes until he knew whether or not he had been requested for the cause of being a bag boy. He slightly grunted mentally as he thought about the fact that this would give him about enough time to maybe get in two or three attempts at trying to use the jutsus once more. He slowly allowed his eyes to close as he began focusing his chakra to begin flowing more fluently as it began to rapidly move through his body. He slowly took a deep breath as he slowly moves his hands through the first few steps of the hand signs. Just as he was about to swing his hand through the air and attempt to release the jutsu a large rumbling sound would resonate and quickly draw his attention away from his slight training and towards the cave. He slowly allowed his eyes to focus on the cave as he gritted his teeth and stared deeper into cave as if trying to unmask the hallow darkness that laid at wake.

This was another reason a lot of people didn’t like coming out to black forest, the darkness and lack of social contact could easily make even the bravest of men and women, slightly jumpy and on guard. While it was never a bad thing to be on guard when in the world, this feeling was different it was as if someone constantly had a knife to your back and it easily made your skin crawl. A gentle breeze would slightly wash across Sayu’s neck as he jerked his body around to see nothing but hear some trees slightly rustle. With a firm double slap and a light shaking of his head, Sayu would attempt to get out of his own mind as he moved to take another sip of water. It was one thing to move through this forest without worry, as the journey here was an easy distraction, but this was nowhere near enough to keep Sayu’s mind at bay. He slowly allowed his hand to hold fast to the water bottle as he tilted the bottle upward and allowed a nice amount to run over his face as he dumped the rest onto his head. He slowly shook his head once more in an attempt to discard the excessive amount of water that seemed to be dripping down the side of his face and out of his hair. A light grunt would clear Sayu’s voice as he tried to get his mind back focus and onto the task that he had in mind. He slowly moves over towards the little clearing that he had be standing in as he slowly cracks his knuckles and neck before taking a deep breath. He slowly focus his chakra into his hands as he begins snapping his fingers through the hand signs and following it up with a firm swing towards some trees that seemed to rest not too far off from the other side of the pond, but just as he would direct the chakra to go forward, his body would follow up with a second swing of his arm and then a third causing a strong gust of wind to rip forward and across the pond. The gust of wind looked nothing like what Gin had did when he was original showing Sayu how to do this jutsus. A slight sigh of depression would part ways with Sayu’s lips as he was slightly disappointed by the lack of success he had been having with trying to learn this basic jutsu or platform jutsu. Sayu slowly moves over to his bag as he pulls out the scroll that Gin had gave him to study just as he reaches into the bag he notices that time had really started moving as the little ten marker was now upon him and yet still no sigh of the mystery man that he was supposed to be meeting. Well this wasn’t as disappointing as Sayu thought that it might be, but a part of him wished to get this on over with, there was something about the cave that starting to creep him out.

Sayu would take his time to look over the scroll as he debated on what was he doing wrong. He softly spoke to himself as he allowed his mind to maul the idea over as he turned towards the pond once more. It looked like he was going to be in for most of the wait alone and maybe then some depending on the person and whether or not they had an issue with timing. He slowly chalked it up as a chance to really go for it as he knew that he wasn’t going to have that much time to be standing around and playing with the jutsu, he was going to get this one learned as soon as possible so that he could move on to his next level of training, but even if he did he still couldn’t force Gin to train him any faster than Gin thought he was ready for. Gin for some reason liked to drop a single quote that had Sayu about at wits end with his own progression and Gin’s teachings, “With great power, comes a greater responsibility.” While Sayu new this to be a semi true statement, he also knew that he needed to become stronger. He had no choice in that matter he had to become stronger, it was the only way that he could complete the goals that he had set in his life. A light grunt passed over his lips as he allowed his body to move towards the edge of the water as he decided to retry this jutsu once more. He slowly sat the scroll down in a manner that allowed him to look at it as he began to read and slowly walk himself through the motions of using it as he saw in the diagram. With a light nod of his head he read and practice moving his hand as he thought to himself about what it was supposed to feel like. With a final shrug of his shoulders he step back and nod to himself before focusing his chakra once more as he prepared to do the jutsu once again. He slowly snapped his fingers through the jutsus hand signs as he locked the tips of his finger outward and continued on to swing his hand three more times and watched as large blade of wind was formed as it moved across the top of the water and sliced into the trees. Sayu softly roared with excitement as he cheered of his own little minor victory, but was taken back as he noticed the amount of time that he had left. He slowly moved to pick up his scroll as it was now close to the time for the meeting. He had about five minutes to go and he figured that was enough time to get his items together and rest up a bit as he slowly moved to make his back to the tree that he had chosen to rest under when he had first arrived.

The five minutes would seem to fly by as he slowly sat up and looked over to see that a man was slowly starting to make his way near. Well he wasn’t exactly of the man gender until he heard the man actually speak while he extending his hand out to Sayu. Sayu softly took the hand between his fingers as he nods softly before slowly standing up and saying his own name. “Hi I am Sayu, I was here to assist you with whatever it is that you’re doing out here.” Sayu would not bother to hide the fact that he had not been keyed in on what it was that they were actually doing out there as he slowly allowed his attention to be stole by the cave once more as he spoke softly. “What the hell is that?” The sound of a large moan like rumble filled his ear as he swore that it felt as if the ground had shaken a bit when that sound crossed his ears. Sayu slowly looked towards the man that had introduced himself as Fen as he speak softly. “Mr. Fen what exactly are we doing out here and what is that?” Sayu had no idea that he was supposed to play dragon hunter today and that the cave was what they were to investigate, in fact had he know this in the beginning he probably wouldn’t have accepted the mission but he was here now and it would be a shame to get all the way out here without seeing it through. Sayu slowly activated his Byakugan as he focused his attention onto the cave as he slowly began to search it for answers, but to his surprise the cave was a lot bigger that he had imagined as it stretched back for another mile or so and got hundreds of feet deeper just slightly beyond his seeing ability. Sayu slowly allowed his eyes to shift towards Fen and back at the cave as he waited for an answer to the question.

Lost in the Darkness (Training Fen & Light ) Empty Re: Lost in the Darkness (Training Fen & Light )

Thu Jan 15, 2015 4:13 pm
"I do not know yet exactly sorry, But please, You may call me Fen, none of that Mister stuff please" Fen would reply in a soft tone as he would have his hand accepted by the young one and shake'd it firmly, after releasing the hand, he would look to the cave as he heard the growl, and fen would ask the kid "So think you can help me track that beast down? not quiet a seeing in the dark type of person, I was once blind, so ill be able to follow you rather easily, but the darkness got rather tired some "Fen would then await an answer from the kid, unknowing of the kids ability with doujutsu.

The demon Yoko Kurama, who was locked away in Fen's head, this demon had a nack for waking Fen up when least wanted, and causing him torture while in his sleep, and Fen was getting rather tired of it and fed up, he decided soon he will face this demon and planned on winning too, the demon would flare up in the mind of Fen with words like poison to ones ear whispering like a soft seductress, the voice would say "You should kill that boy, you should kill everyone, destroy everyone" Fen would look up at the demon in the empty floating space they were standing in, and he would ask him "Yoko Kurama, what is your plan to strengthen me, and why me?" Yoko looked down at the boy, he had never been addressed by his name from this boy and he would tell the boy " I would take over you body and allow you to tap into my reserves, we would become like one, and why you, because no one else had motivation like you, you just need the right incentive" Fen would look away from the Demon and then nod, and looked up at him "if you promise you can make me stronger, you and I may become one" the demon gave a evil grin "well my price to allow this, is when I Deisre it, we kill someone, no matter how it is" Fen would look down, he would never be able to harm Akihana, or even Arata, so neither of them should be hurt, but anyone else, he would allow this demon to kill and he would tell the demon "there is two in my life I will not kill, and you must respect that, or Else I will kick your ass and send you packing" Fen looked at the demon Yoko Kurama sternly and the demon looked back at him and would say "deal Human, we shall be one" and with that Fen's day continued normally, as that was in his head, his body still moved ever foreward into the cave, he was looking for a particular beast last known to be in this cave, and Fen would keep his senses on high.

Chakra sensory and what not was turned on, looking all around him seeing small little specks here and there, not what he was looking for, but more or less the life of creatures for certain, he would being to whisper softly "here wyrmy wyrmy wyrmy wyrmy" he did not know what he was thinking, but he decided to try it anyways, and as he did, he suddenly could hear a voice speaking to him, this time not from his head "Who dares disturb my slumber" said the voice, and fen would stop, the smell of sulfur which was something he did not notice till now because the smell got stronger, and Fen would turn to face the snout of the beast, as he relized he felt the breath of this thing on the back of his neck, Fen would not see down here, though it never stopped him from doing things before, and he would gulp slightly, he could feel the chakra from this thing now, it was enormous, and Fen could tell at this moment, he was no where near it, Fens at this moment was less then half of this monsters chakra.

And Then fen would gulp and would speak to the beast "I came from kumogakure, I found legends of a fearsome beast who lived here, Are you Ragnor?" and then Fen would go quiet as he would listen and wait for the wyrms response, then it would finally come "I am Ragnor, Wyrm of Illusions, and you ask me to help you with destroying your enemies and being a companion? give me reasons as to why I should to do" Fen would slowly wonder how this beast knew that, that was the reason he came looking for this beast, he was a little perturbed for a moment but then begin's to get a grip on himself and his emotions, and he would start a small speech "it is a pleasure to meet you Ragnor, My name is Fenikkusu, I have came seeking to make you a friend of mine, as you would be a great asset to have on a team, and you get to be out in the world, see it and do as you please, I am not a master, I am a partner, when I need help I will ask upon it, and if you give me your help, then you will have an Eternal friend" Fen looked where he was sure was the beasts eyes and wait for another answer, and the wait would be longer then earlier before, but the beast would eventually answer the boy in front of him with this simple answer" I will join your fight, but you must prove to me you are worthy of my power before I fight beside you in a real fight, we will eventually have to fight each other, if you win, then I will be your summon, but if I win I will eat you" it grins devilishly in the dark, and then spits it tounge out like a snake would and then licks his chops, then says to fen, " Go boy we will handle things now, come to this grove, when you beat me, you may sign the contract with me" and with that the dragon would turn around, and as it did, its tail would whack fen and send him flying back words for a few meters, before fen would stand up.

The Dragon had of course noticed the other boy, but he paid him no mind at this moment, someone had came to challenge him for to be his summon, as he spun fully to face the man called Fen, he would see the man already standing, and about five meters off was Sayu, completely unharmed by the dragon at this point, more or less because he did not perceive him as any sort of threat, the dragon wanted to be a part of a team in all reality, and cause this one sought him out, he would keep his attention on this one, but he did not leave the other out of the question, unbeknownst to the two shinobi, Ragnor used a partial version of his tunneler ability, which was much like hiding like a mole, so he could sense them, but he was holding back his full power, for fear of totally crushing them and having the local village come investigating

After Fen Stood up, he would look in the direction of the beast, his chakra senses telling him the location of the beast, Fen would then pull out his heavens sorrow Ninjato from behind him, he was slowly beginning to realize this blade was slowly becoming more used then his taijutsu, he just buffed what he did with the sword with his taijutsu, maybe it was time for a small switch, fen would shrug it off as he prepaired for the next attack, it may be hard to predict with only chakra senses and experienced fighter, but if the kid Sayu could make a big enough distraction, Fen would be able to drive the beast back at least a little bit

Sayu softly nodded his head as he listened to Fen's request for him to lead the way. With that the two would begin the journey deep into the dark cave as they made their farther and deeper than Sayu had originally thought the cave was. To preserve a bit of chakra he'd avoid using his byakugan as his eyes didn't take very long to adjust to lack of light. For about an hour or so they would spend most of them time in silence as it would seem that Fen had a lot on his mind and didn't care to be bothered. It wasn't as if Sayu had a burning question forming in his mind that he wanted answer anyway, so the silence was easily embraced as he spent most of his time scouting out the cave and trying to remember exactly which turns the two of them made. About an hour into their journey Sayu would catch a whiff of a funny smell, while he couldn't exactly place his finger on the scent reminded him off he knew that it didn't mean good news for the two of them.

It wasn't until they had reach the deepest part of his cave that Fen would break the awkward silence by calling out and taking the lead. Sayu slightly questioned what a wrye was, but it wouldn't take him long to figure out as the scent of suffer filled his nose and the large beast appeared before them. Slightly dumbfounded and bewildered by the size of the beast, Sayu would attempt to call out to Fen, but his voice would fail him as he stopped in his pace only to see the two of them share a conversation.

Sayu felt slightly betrayed and lied to seeing that Fen was the one who was seeking out the beast, but that soon faded as he didn't have much time to hold a grudge being that the conversation would quickly change in to an all out battle for superiority. Sayu watched as Fen was sent flying across the cave and slammed into a wall, while it probably wasn't enough to kill him it did seem like it hurt liked hell and that there was no way for him to be of any assistance unless he used his Byakugan. With that thought in mind his eyes quickly opened up ad he was able to get a better glimpse of the beast. Like he had originally feared it was several time there strength and looked as if it had an armor made of scales.

With out thinking to much about it Sau would place his fingers together as he continued on to use that wind Justus that he had been practicing early. With the hand sigh complete Sayu opted to using it the jutsu in its weaker form as he released three small blades of air that would fly exactly where he had wanted them to. One would be aimed to hit the Dragon in the head, the second was aimed at the ground between the Dragon and Fen to create a dust cloud to mast Fen's next movement. The final one was aimed at the ceiling of the cave as it was meant to knock some of the ceiling and case it to fall directly on the dragon's head. With that Sayu would find his voice once more as he called out to Fen for him to make a move and make it count.

With the dust cloud the kid created Fen would nod and charge in, starting off with a lariat, the wyrm having already taking a blow to the head would have been distracted, and then with the dust cloud blocking his sight, would have not guessed the boy to come at him with a clothsline like attack across the top of his head, and then Fen would follow it up with a spinning high kick, and then dropping low he would spin up underneath the head of the wyrm, and while under the wyrm he would raise a kick up under his chin, knocking his head up into the cavern above them, making the already weakened ceiling more weak, and then he would begin a series of spinning kicks, pummeling his way up the wyrm's neck and then when kicking the head, it would get slammed once more back into the ceiling, and rocks of a small size, like that of quarters would begin to fall, as a crack in the cave roof formed, then he would use Arhat fist, gankei, the single punch once more drove the wryms head back, and then he would begin a flurry of punches, and as his attacks flew at such a high speed, his fists seemed to light with fire, then he would use Evening elephant, slamming five punches into the wyrm, each of them not only pummeling the head of the dragon into the roof, but also hitting the roof as well, and he would continue his barrage with Hirodura, the daytime tiger, the tiger like face driving the wyrms head into the ceiling and leaving a mark or more of a imprint of the wyrms head at this point, and then as to finish it off, he would once more use a series of kicks into the wyrms head, but to finish it off, he would use a heeldrop on top of the skull of the wyrm, knocking the wyrms head into the ground, and as it hit the ground the cave would crumble on top of him, completely pinning him to the ground, Fen would drop down in front of the pinned head of the wyrm, panting hard as that combo took a lot out of him sweat beading down his whole body, the wyrm grumbling out at him "You have done well, as I am pinned I am beat, you both are worthy of my contract if you please" Fen would smile at the wyrm and then over at the Kid and nod to him, and would ask "Well would you like to be apart of this contract? You did do an amazing amount of work" Fen would pull out his books he would have already mastered at this point and hands them to the kid, "These are both for you, but I really Need to go rest after this" and with that he would sign the contract with the wyrm with blood from his thumb, and instead of spending the next few hours digging the wyrm out, he would enter the rocks with hiding like a mole, and would attmpt to pull the wyrm out, then suddenly the wyrm showed his ability to move through the earth as well, and surpised fen with it, fen would just shrug it off at this point and he would ride the wyrm out of the cave, allowing the kid who helped a chance to come with, after getting a ride to the edge of the forest, fen would hop off and head back into the village, he needed to go rest, and then eat after words
