Learning Jutsu and Training
Thu Feb 05, 2015 4:28 am
Yazuro walked into the forest, he walked up to an open area where an extremely tall tree is, this was the tree he was going to learn the Surface Walking technique on, no matter what he was going to. He needed to learn this so that he was able to get up into a high tree and scout the area. He also came to the forest to learn the substitution jutsu, he knew if he learned this he'd be officially set for combat and scouting. Today was the day he proved that he was strong, he was going to prove to his cousins he was capable of growing as much as they had when they were Academy Students.
First off he focused the chakra into his feet so that he could keep a grip to the surface, slowly he attempted to walk up the tree he started to do it and then his balance was thrown off and he didn't focus on distributing the chakra properly so he fell directly down onto his back. "Ow.." He knew this was going to take a while and he wasn't going to stop until he was able to reach the top of the tree, he was going to learn this jutsu and make sure he knew it so that he could use it any time he wanted to.
Yazuro sat down and started to mold chakra while relaxing himself, this time he was going to at least get halfway. He was going to keep his balance and learn how to distribute chakra to specific parts of his body, so that hopefully when he attempted to learn chakra infusion he was able to learn it easily. Yazuro got up and started to focus his chakra into his feet. Yazuro then started to walk up the tree, he kept walking up the tree slowly and steadily. When he reached the middle of the tree he attempted to keep walking but he hadn't focused enough chakra into his feet, so he jumped off landing on the ground.
He had basically done it but Yazuro wasn't satisfied with what he did, it wasn't learning the jutsu to him it was just doing it half way and on-top of that he needed to run faster up the tree not just walk. This time his goal was to run up the tree halfway. Yazuro started to mold chakra, after a couple minutes he started to run up the tree. When he reached halfway he had ran out of chakra to focus into his feet and jumped off the tree once again. This time he was truly proud of himself, but still needed to run to the top of the tree. He then thought about how much time it took him to mold the chakra required to climb up half of the tree.
This time Yazuro knew how much time it required to mold the amount of chakra he needed. Yazuro then started molding chakra for double the time he had molded last time. After Yazuro had molded the appropriate amount of chakra required he started running up the tree. This time he had passed the halfway mark, he started grinning. Yazuro was proud of himself and was sure his cousins would be proud of him as well. Then he realized he was nearing the top and then he finally reached it. In excitement Yazuro jumped down and engraved his name in the tree as a memory of him learning something else.
Now, it was time to learn the substitution jutsu. Yazuro wanted to learn this jutsu for the longest time, but he was mostly always busy with the academy and homework. This time he didn't have homework but to train for the Genin exams and that was exactly what he was doing. He needed to utilize his time before the sun went down and he had to make his way back home. Tiger-Boar-Ox-Dog-Snake "Substitution!" Yazuro tried but nothing happened. Yazuro thought this was going to be an easy jutsu, but swapping himself out with a plank of wood was going to take chakra and he hadn't bothered to mold any. Yazuro needed to remember the way his cousin did it, the exact movements and steps.
Yazuro sat down and thought, he just needed to remember how his cousin performed the jutsu. He thought and thought. Then he realized, there was nothing to the jutsu he just needed to mold his chakra and create the illusion. Yazuro then started to mold his chakra. Tiger-Boar-Ox-Dog-Snake "Substitution!" This time it worked but he hadn't gotten as far away as he wanted to before the illusion wore off. Yazuro was starting to get impatient, he didn't want to keep trying and having to keep molding chakra so he could keep attempting the jutsu without having to stop.
Yazuro then sat down and started to mold the masses of chakra he needed. He knew this was going to take a while, but it was worth it. This time he didn't need to figure out how much chakra he needed to mold just for the jutsu itself. Once he was done molding the chakra he knew he'd be able to perform the jutsu more than once if he was lucky. This time he would be ready to create the illusion for an extended amount of time, it wasn't guaranteed but he was fine with that.
When Yazuro was done molding chakra he got up. Tiger-Boar-Ox-Dog-Snake "Substitution!" this time the illusion had lasted a little longer than last time. He wasn't satisfied, he knew he had to have it for just a while longer to give him time to escape. He went back to his normal position and performed the hand seals Tiger-Boar-Ox-Snake "Substitution!" This time he had extended the jutsu by at least 3 seconds, still not enough time to get away but enough time to let him get out of view totally. He returned to his normal position and knew this was the last time he was going to be able to perform the jutsu. Tiger-Boar-Ox-Dog-Snake "Substitution!" This time he had expended the rest of the chakra he had molded, but he managed to extend the jutsu by 5 seconds. This was plenty of time for him to get away. He was proud of himself, learning two jutsu in one day. It took him a while but it was worth it, he was ready to show his cousins that he was going to be a promising ninja using this jutsu while sparring them.
Now it was time for Yazuro to refine his taijutsu so that he didn't have to rely solely on ninjutsu. Yazuro set up the equipment on the tree and started to loosen up his body. This was the was he fought, relaxed. He started to punch and kick the tree at a disappointing rate. He tried putting all the strength into his punches and kicks, which was slowing him down a little bit but he was alright with that. He was going to learn how to balance his speed and strength so that his hit wouldn't be too light and he wouldn't be too slow giving the enemy time to perform any hand seals. It wasn't guaranteed that they wouldn't be able to counter it though. He wasn't going to be using Taijutsu in fights often so it didn't really matter anyways. Exhausted after all of the training Yazuro started making his way back to his house located in Konoha.
