training the fake-ball

The Hyena leaned against the walls of the building adjacent to the Hokage’s building. He was waiting for the Hokage to show up so that he could talk to him but in the mean time he would train. See, he had just been talking to another ninja and had learned that the Hyuuga had actually attempted a power coup, trying to disassemble to different powerful clans and driving them to the brink of extinction before being defeated. Well. That meant that they were not entirely useless, though that did not make them any less mean and evil. If anything it showed the lengths to which the Hyuuga clan would go to achieve their objectives. He could no longer think of them as weak. Every Konoha Hyuuga was likely an enemy to the village he swore his loyalty too instead, and he needed to get strong fast.
He certainly would be getting stronger while leaning against the wood of the building, training his shoulders and hands. You see, depending on one’s perspective he could be lifting the world every time his arms bent and then straightened – he was doing a hand stand using the wall of the building for balance while he did pushups in that awkward position, his back and shoulder muscles straining readily. He had to be careful now, he could have sworn he felt some thing pop earlier. He had originally come to talk to the Hokage but training was getting under way now and there was no point in trying to distract him self now that he was on a roll.
The exercise was helping clear his mind, the physical exertion allowing him to focus more clearly on the Descending Hell technique genjutsu, his mind still wrangling with how to simplify the other genjutus he had learned, taking away the Base chakra with out making the blinding aspect of the genjutsu useless and unnoticeable. He frowned, his mind in as much of a struggle as his muscles, which felt like they would give out any second, the sweat from his body starting to pool in the cold night air. Good thing he had warmed up with a jog, he had a rather bad habit of starting to exercise when he was really intending to do something else now, derailing his intended activity immensely. Hopefully this was not a habit that continued on for a long time…
He rolled forward, coming out of the hand stand, having done all the push ups he had intended. Rolling and then standing up, the sweat on his skin picking up some of the dust on the road, but mercifully or not avoiding the puddle he had created, he got to his feet, and walked off in search of a wild animal or two to practice the genjutsu on.
Eventually he came across a squirrel in a tree. He took a deep breath, calming himself, and practicing the Chakra suppression technique for a moment. Then his eyes snapped open and his Byakugan focused on the squirrel to be able to better track its movements. He weaved hand seals, attempting to create a shroud of chakra that blinded the squirrel, taking on the appearance of a ball of fire. It worked like a charm. The squirrel was blinded in the process of jumping between branches and slammed into its designated landing spot, before falling through the air. Hmmm. Looks like it had worked, a little too well perhaps. The Hyena dashed forwards, catching the rather unhappy squirrel before it hit the ground, his arms bending downwards, slowing the squirrel before it came to a full stop, reducing the impact. Now to try this out again on bigger prey.
The Hyena walked off out of the village, looking for something else to try blinding, and the boar that popped up served his needs exactly, right until it knocked the wind out of him by ramming him with its snout. Ow. The Hyena was sent tumbling away, and as he struggled to his feet, winded, the boar turned and began charging at him again. The Hyena backed up against a tree and had an idea. As the boar charged, he dodged to the side at the last second. Unfortunately the boar noticed and swerved, avoiding the tree altogether. Darn. The boar was soon back, and it did not look pleased. The Hyena weaved hand seals this time, preparing the Descending Hell technique genjutsu, or at least a close attempt. A massive ball of fire appeared to erupt from the sky, descending to the ground. The boar oinked fearfully and ran off, the Hyena decided to take off before the little piggy realized that the fire ball was an illusion, as the illusion did not extend to the plants around them, if the fire was real the forest should be erupting into smoke. That was obviously not the case though. He hoped nobody, especially the Hokage, noticed and got the wrong impression.

[Hyuuga never betrayed the village and attempted a power coup, godmod and making up events. If you wish to have clarification on the actual timeline of the village, feel free to ask. Viper Uchiha married the head of the Hyuuga clan, they have very strong bonds and roots in Konoha.]
