[Before the meeting]

It was exactly 1:09 PM. Ita's eyes opened slowly as sunlight entered the room through a small crack in the shades, falling perfectly upon Ita's face; causing him to awaken. The room was dimly lit besides the trail of light which entered the room through the opening in the blinds. Ita was unsure of his location upon regaining his consciousnesses. For a moment, the horrible acts which had occurred yesterday seemed to be only a dream. Ita frantically removed the covers from over his body. Upon further observation, Ita realized he was laying in a hospital bed in the Konohagakure's Hospital because he had recently just made a visit after the altercation between Kozai and the Hokage. Ita laid still for a moment, pondering what the Hokgae had told him about his clan, before shifting his thoughts to his recently late foster parent, Mrs. Chizo. A tear rolled down Ita's face as he pictured her dead body upon the floor. After a few moments Ita became aware of a large power in the room. A man was sitting in the corner of Ita's hospital room in a chair completely shrouded by shadow. Ita heard the lighting of a match and then the room was illuminated by candle light. To Ita's surprise, it was the ANBU that had be stalking him prior to the events yesterday and the same exact one that confronted him before Ita ran off in a blind rage.

The ANBU spoke, while waving his hand and putting out the match he had lit, "Ah, I see you are finally awake." Ita's eyes still focused on the man. Ita spoke calmly, "How did I get here? What happened? Where is that mysterious man..?" The man could tell Ita did not have much recollection of what had happened the day before so he decided to share some of his incite. "Well, you put on quiet a show yesterday. Who ever that man was, I don't believe you will have to worry about dealing with him any longer after what you did to him. It was pretty impressive to say the least.", said the anbu black ops. "That still dosn't explain how I ended up here.", said Ita in response to the Anbu's recitation. The ANBU spoke once more in a positive and cheerful tone, "Oh yes, I forgot you asked. Well, after you disposed of the unknown ninja you kind of fainted. Lucky for you, I had been watching close by and was able to escort you here as quick as possible. The specialist said you were fine, and you fainted from exhaustion, I just figured this would be a great opportunity for us to speak. I have a proposition for you." Ita was curious as to what the ANBU had to say so he nodded, saying "who are you and what would that be?", The experienced ninja spoke, "First off, I am a member of the Hokages Black Ops and my name is Sai. I'd actually prefer you to address me by my first name. Secondly, I want to say I was very impressed by your skills and due to your 'situation' I think it would be safe for you to consider becoming my student. I've never had a student of my own, but then again, I've never seen such a young ninja such as your self posses such an ability to kill. I'm intrigued and I'd be honored if you'd accept; not that you have much choice if you want to live." Sai, chuckled to himself as he put the young boy in an awkward situation. Ita fell silent for a momeny, thinking once more about the actions which had taken place yesterday then calculating what Sai had just said to him now. Ita spoke once more before smiling, "If you put it that way.. I guess I don't have much of a choice do I? When do we begin?" Ita sat up in his hospital bed, retrieving his Konohagakure head band which laid beside him on a small table. He held the head band up to his forehead and began to apply it to his forehead. Said said, "Really? Great, there is no time to lose.. We must get you ready. Now meet me outside the academy at the training grounds in exactly one hour from now. Get something to eat to regain your strength and come prepared to work hard. Goodbye for now." Before Ita could speak any further, Sai flickered out of sight causing the candle to be blown out, leaving the room dark once more, besides for the sliver of light which reflected upon Ita's cold, dark, and piercing eyes. Ita rose from the hospital bed, now sporting his Lead headband along with 2 ninja pouches, a white robe top and black pant bottoms. He did not recognize these new articles of clothing and he suspected they probably came from Sai. Ita once more thanked the hospitals specialists and he exited the Hospital, making a pit stop at the ramen shop to eat then moving towards the training grounds of the academy.

[First Technique: Body Flicker]

An hour had almost passed and Ita had made his way to where lessons had been taught at the Ninja Academy. Ita was a little curious as to why Sai had picked this place to meet seeing as he had already passed his Genin exam. Ita entered the academy and took a seat, waiting for his new teacher. A few moments had passed and Ita had sighed, and closed his eyes. Upon closing eyes; Ita had been startled at the immediate appearance of Sai manifesting himself before him. Ita's eyes were wide now as he asked, "Woah, how did you just appear like that?" Said smiled before answering, "I'm glad you asked! that is exactly the reason why I brought you here. Today I will be teaching you the awesome technique that is called 'Body Flicker'!" Ita's attention was now at its full extent because he was eager to become stronger and expand his jutsu arsenal. "So what is this technique you speak of?", Ita inquired of Sai. "Hold on, I was just getting to the good stuff!", Sai chuckled; then continued, "The body flicker is no ordinary jutsu, it can come quiet in handy if you find your self in a sticky situation. The technique is a high speed movement technique that involves vitalizing your body with chakra to highten your speed.", said said. "in technical terms that is... I think that is how they explained it to us, anyways. While using this jutsu, you gain a temporary boost in speed equal to that of your chakra's power level. In other words, the more powerful your chakra is, the more of a speed boost you will be able to acquire; temporarily that is." he continued, "now watch and learn." Sai raised his right hand forming the 'Ram' hand sign. Within seconds, Sai disappeared from Ita's sight in a blur of speed leaving Ita astonished by his masters speed. Within seconds of his disappearance, Sai reapeared behide Ita, tapping him lightly on the sholder with only one finger. "See? Isn't that cool?" ... "However, I don't think your speed.. or your chakra is anywhere close to mine", Sai chuckled then continued once more, "I see you have some smoke bombs on you.. I'd suggest using those to cause a distraction before releasing your chakra and preforming the technique giving your self a little bit more of an advantage until your chakra and speed becomes somewhat comparable to mine, however I doubt that will ever happen.", Sai joked with his pupil, then flicking him in the back of the head. Ita made an embarrassed expression as his new teacher trolled on him. Ita was amazed by how fast he was and hoped he too could be that fast someday.. Sai lifted his right hand whilst behind Ita once more creating the 'Ram' hand sign, once again disappearing in a blur of speed appearing in front of Ita, his face within inches of his. Ita, startled once more and backing up from Sai's face, complained to his teacher in an annoyed voice, "Hey! what is the big idea! Stop doing that! What are you trying to kiss me or are you going to teach me new jutsu!" Sai's playful demeanor now became serious and he spoke in a now assertive and calm voice towards his new student, "Okay, lets begin now that you understand the technicalities behind this technique, lets see if you can actually get the hang of it. Now make the 'Ram' seal and try to vitalize your chakra, imagining in your mind where your ending location will be before actually initiating the technique", Sai finished explaning to Ita and stepped back so he could attempt himself, he spoke once more, "Here try flickering to this exact spot over here", Sai created an 'X' on the floor with tape a few meters away from Ita. "The more you practice this technique and the stronger you are able to get; the more distance you will be able to cover by using this technique, now carry on.", Sai said awaiting his pupils attempt. Ita nodded, understanding what his teacher had said to him. Ita raised both his right and left hand abruptly and formed the 'Ram' hand sign with both hands. He focused on the 'X' Sai had placed in front of him and he pictured utilizing his chakra to swiftly move there at high speeds. Ita attempted to release his chakra while continuing to focus on the 'X' placed on the floor. He closed his eyes, and nothing happened. Ita felt chakra dissipate from his body, but realized nothing had happened. Sai spoke, "Eh, maybe that is a little too far for your first time.. let's make another one a little bit closer." Sai moved exactly one meter closer to ita and bent over as he placed another 'X' on the floor. He then moved exactly one meter closer to Ita again and placed the final 'X' on the floor. He spoke to his pupil once more, "This is how I learned this technique, lets see how you handle this. Now focus on the first 'X' in front of you and try to use the technique. Now, give it a try!" "Yes Sensai!" Ita replied in a determined voice as he focused on the 'X' directly in front of him. Ita quickly formed the 'Ram' hand sign with both hands and closed his eyes. To his astonishment, Ita flickered, reappearing in a blur of speed directly on top of the first 'X'. Sai was intrigued by how fast Ita was able to successfully perform the technique. Even though the technique only brought him a short distance, Sai thought back to a time when he himself was beginning to learn the technique; it had taken him the whole afternoon to even budge and this young boy was able to do is successfully on the first try. Sai couldn't help but smirk to him self as he looked in the direction of the boy whilst day dreaming. Ita would now be staring at his Sensai waiting for him to make a comment on him successfully performing the technique in case he had done something wrong, however he felt Sai was not paying attention. "Uh, Sensai?" "Huh..? Sorry...Not bad kid! However you don't have anything on me when I was a kid learning that technique, your too slow! Now move onto the next two!" Ita nodded and focused his eyes on the second 'X' after re-positioning himself at the start point. Once more Ita swiftly performed the 'Ram' hand sign, which he seemed to be getting more proficient at doing with each and every try. Upon creating the hand sign, to Sai's surprise, Ita vanished in a blur of speed and reappeared standing upon the second 'X'. Furthermore, Ita made his way back to the starting position. He created the 'Ram' hand signs once more and finally appeared on the final 'X'. Upon finishing his training Ita took a seat. The majority of his chakra supplies had been reduced and he was clearly tired, as sweat formed on his upper brow and made its way down his cheek. Ita smiled at this new feat and Sai smiled back, then took on a serious demeanor again. "Well that is enough for today! Lets get some rest and meet back here tomorrow at the same time! By the way, dinner is on me.", Said sai. Ita cheered upon receiving notice that he was about to recieve a free meal and hearing positive reinforcement after all the sadness Ita had endured these past few years made him forget about his pain for a brief moment. The two of them exited the lessons are and made their way towards the villages local ramen shop.

[Second Technique: Chakra Suppression]

It was exactly 1:08 PM. Unlike the day before there was a slight breeze in the air and there were a few clouds scattered throughout the sky, occasionally blocking out the suns light. It wasn't too hot for a summer day either, requiring one to maybe even wear a long sleeved shirt. In the distance of the academy one could see two silhouette of figures moving closer to the area of the school. One, which was a boy about the age of 10 with deep black hair. His eyes matched the color of his hair as well. His skin, usually pale, was a bit tan due to the recent amount of sun he had been getting due to the summer season. The boy's facial expression was blank. The figure next to him was a rather tall male, about 6'1" or 6'2". His hair was also black and his skin more pale than the boy who stood next to him. He wore a green flak jacket and blue pants, which were equipped with two ninja pouches upon his hips, and one attached to the back of his waist; which was a bit different then his normal ANBU appearance. He had a rather pleasant expression on his face as he sipped upon a paper cup equipped with a straw. The two strutted on past the Academy, and enetered through the side where there was a medium sized training area which was equipped with a few wooden pillars which were presumably used for shuriken and kunai practice. Sai stood a few inches from one of the pillars that was covered in wounds. It looked rather old. Sai reached out and touched the pillar, seeming to look off into the distance for about 10 seconds. Ita watched his new sensai and concluded he definitely was a little odd, but stood nothing and let the man have his moment. Sai spoke, "I remember when I used to train here when I was just about your age, these things look so old now. I'll have to put in a request to the Hokage to get some new ones", then he laughed. The two of them stood a few moments silently then Ita finally asked breaking the awkwardness, "So what do you plan on teaching me today?" Sai chuckled, "You're an impatient one aren't you?" Ita made a smug face, then Sai continued to speak, "Well, if you must know we are going to play a little bit of a game." "What do you mean?", Ita asked. "I'm going to be teaching you a technique that might help you out while you're traveling alone or being tailed. This technique will allow you to suppress your chakra, making it extremely difficult for others or in the worst case, an enemy to detect your chakra signature, hopefully giving you a chance to escape, or even do a sneak attack." Sai continued. "So how am I supposed to do that exactly?", "Simple, you're going to hide and I'm going to try and find you, sorta like Hide-and-Seek. You remember playing that when you were a kid right?" "I don't play games", Ita said. Sai laughed then spoke, "You're not much fun are you? And then again, you still are a kid, so there is still time to have some fun. You can never be too old for fun!" Ita sulked. "Whatever, can we start already?" "Alright, Alright. Now I'm gonna close my eyes and count to 10, go and hide and I'll try to sense your chakra." Ita nodded and ran off.

"One..., Two..., Three...," Sai said aloud. Ita turned to look behind him and saw Sai peeking through his fingers. "Hey, stop peeking you cheater!", Sai smiled and placed his hands over his eyes. "Sorry, I got a little carried away! four..., five..., six..., seven..., eight..., nine..., ten..., ready or not here I come!" Sai used his Chakra sensory technique to quickly find Ita who had been hiding under a stair case within the academy. Sai weaved a few hand signs and Body Flickered, disapearing in a blur of speed and appearing in front of Ita, startling yet again. "Gahh! I'm still not used to you doing that!" Sai laughed and said, "You really don't know what you're doing huh?" Ita sulked once more, "Not really..., Please give me a hint or something." "Okay, try picturing this technique like this. You're chakra flows from within, the main center point being right here." Sai pushed his finger against the young boys stomach. "You see, a great sensory ninja can detect their targets from a great distance. Even stronger sensors are able to differentiate certain ninja by their chakra signature alone or even tell when other ninjas are using such techniques." "Anyways, chakra flows throughout the body and circulates through a system referred to as the 'chakra pathway system'.", said continued to speak; giving Ita a quick lesson in Chakra 101. "You see, the 'chakra pathway system' is sorta like your cardiovascular system which brings air and blood to the rest of your body. The chakra pathway system works the same way." Ita listened and had a bit of a complexed look on his face as he tried to grasp all of this new knowledge. "You know a lot, huh?" "Shut up, I'm not done. Anyways, You already know how to spin chakra tightly to build up your chakra, however I want you to do something a little bit different, do you follow?" Ita nodded. "I want you to focus on slowing down your chakra and trying to conceal conceal it, allowing it to barely generate at all. Now maybe you should find a nice place to sit and meditate for a while and practice; maybe reflect upon what I've told you if your little mind can handle it." Ita's face was flustered, but he listened to what the man had suggested and took a seat on the ground. He crossed his legs and closed his eyes; allowing his mind to ponder what he had just been taught. Ita allowed his mind to go blank, then focusing on the spin of chakra positioned in the middle of his stomach, his hair originated and grew to the right; therefor Ita focused on slowing down the flow of his chakra and bringing it to a level low enough for him to bypass the chakra sensory technique. About an hour had passed and Ita finnaly got to his feet, noticing Sai had found a nice place on the ground to fall asleep. Ita walked over to him and nuged him with his foot lightly. When he didn't awaken, he kicked him rougly and shouted, "Hey! wake up!", Ita shouted. Sai, frightened, grabbed Ita's foot and sent him flying. "wha-", Ita skidding against the ground before his movement was stopped by his head hitting against a wall. After a few moments Ita stood back up and attempted to clean the dirt off his new white shirt. "What was that for!", Itas face looked angry. "You can't just sneak up on me like that! I was having a nice dream; I was at this bath house and I found my self in the girl section and-.. nevermind, anyways, have you made any progress?" Ita, who seamed like he was still upset about his new shirt, responded saying, "I think so.." Sai smiled and raised his finger, poising himself like he was about to say something intelligent. Ita just hoped it wasn't another lecture.. "Okay, then lets give this another go."

Sai began to count out loud once more, "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Here I come" Ita ran off into the distance, going inside the academy once more and hiding in one of the closets where the janitors kept all of their cleaning supplies. Ita closed his eyes once more. He attempted to slow down his rate of chakra and conceal his location. Ita felt that he was on a different level with the way he understood himself now. He could feel his chakra pulsating in his body and spinning. Ita thought to himself, "I see what he was saying earlier... I think I'm starting to get the hang of this." Sai began to utilize his chakra sensory technique standing still for one moment. Sai thought to himself, "Hmm.., this kid is pretty good. I can still sense his chakra, but barely. I should probably go get him now..", Sai decided he wouldn't give Ita an early death by giving him a heart attack by flickering in front of him once more. Sai walked towards the academy door contemplating a few things in his head. First of all, he thought he should probably let Ita move in with him inside his home. Things had begun to get lonely since his wife had been kidnapped a few years ago. Sai had looked for her night and day for a year straight, but when he couldn't find her he decided to return to the Hidden Leaf and re-assume his role as ANBU black-ops. Sai's face made a depressed expression then he cheered up again. Yes, yes he would invite Ita to stay with him for a while, he didn't really have a home anyways. Mrs. Chizo had left her home to her sister and her husband and he felt they wouldn't be to fond of Ita's serious and quiet personality; nor did he think they enjoyed the company of children. Secondly, Sai thought of what he should teach Ita next, if he could grasp this technique that is. Maybe something more offensive. Sai made his way through the wooden framed door way of the Academy, reminiscing of when he was a kid once more. Sai enjoyed reminiscing. Most of his fondest memories where in the past. Upon entering the hallway, Sai began to sense for Ita's chakra once more. For a few moments he wasn't able to pick it up, but then Ita's chakra flared once more. Sai thought to himself once more, "This kid sure is something else." Sai made his way to the door of the janitors closet and rapped it a few times before announcing, "Gotcha", then he opened the door. Sai noticed the look of disappointment on Ita's face that he had found him so quickly. "I really thought I had you that time... what did I do wrong?" Sai didn't want to boost Ita's ego by telling them he had actually had him fooled for a few moments. "That was still not good enough, I could sense your chakra immediatly, if you want to be my student you are going to have to work a little bit harder than that. Do you have any control over your chakra at all?" Sai was putting on a front to really pull out Ita's full potential. He had noticed a patern, the more annoyed and angrier Ita got, the more effort he was able to put forth. No matter, Sai understood the boy was very talented for his age; he almost reminded him of himself when he was a kid; maybe thats why he was growing so found of the boy. Ita now had a determined look on his face now. "I won't fail next time." Ita spoke sternly, as the two made there way out of the academy once more; re-assuming their position in the middle of the academy's training grounds. "Okay, one more time. Lets see what you got in you boy."

For the last time, Sai placed his hand over his eyes and began to count, "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven,..." Ita sprinted into the distance, this time not going into the academy, but jumping, using the surface walking technique to run up the wall swiftly. Ita could hear Sai counting out loud and he knew the importance of not utilizing his chakra by using the surface walking technique to draw attention to himself. Upon reaching the roof he heard Sai finnaly count out loud the last three numbers. "eight, nine, nine and a half, ten. Here I come." Sai utilized his chakra sensory technique once more, upon activation he immediately noticed the trail of chakra Ita had left moving up the wall. "Does this kid really think I'm that stupid?" As soon as Ita had reached the top of the roof he had jumped off landing, running alond the side of the academy out of sight of the training grounds while attempting to slow his chakra rate down as much as possible. He assumed Sai would follow Ita's chakra signature he had left from before onto the roof so Ita decided to run back around and hide behind one of the wooden shuriken practice pillars, out of Sai's line of sight. Ita positioned himself perfect and focused on completely neutralizing his chakra sense. When said reached the top of the roof he found no one was in sight. Sai scratched his head and said out loud. "What in the hell.., did he trick me?" Sai attempted to sense Ita's chakra once more and to his astonishment he failed. A smile came over Sai's face. "Well I'll be damned the little brat tricked me and I can't sense him at all." Sai couldn't help but appear happy that his pupil was learning so quickly. He thought he had to step up the training a notch. He then heard the boys voice from down bellow. "Hey down here!" Ita poked his head out from behind the wooden pillar and waved at Sai while smiling. "Gotcha that time didn't I! I! I thought you were smarter than that!" Sai flickered down to Ita, this time not scaring him at all. Sai patted Ita on the shoulder and smiled. "Good job, I didn't think you had it in you! Tomorrow the real training begins. Now, what would you say to moving in with me for a while? It wouldn't be permanent... just while you're my student. It would be a good way for me too keep an eye on you and progress with our training. What do you say?" Ita contemplated this request for a moment then responded, "Sure, I don't think Mrs. Chizo's family were expecting a boy along with the property anyways... I think they are trying to sell it. You have to help me gather my belonging though! "Right, lets go get something to eat to reward you for your efforts today." Sai gave the boy a warm smile yet again and the two wandered off, their bodys fadding in the distance from the view of the academy. Ita could feel himself getting stronger. He liked this new power. He knew if he kept training at this rate none of the other genin could surpass him and he would join the ranks of chuunin soon enough, for now all Ita could think about was eating.

[Third Technique: Mark Seal]

It was 6:34 AM. The Sun's light had just broken the horizon and decided it was a good time to take a peak through the window of Ita's new room within Sai's home. Sai's house was completely made of wood; as though it were produced by a technique from that of a Senjuu, or someone possessing wood release. The house only contained one floor and was mostly an open space besides for the bathroom and the two bed rooms which Ita and Sai slept. Ita enjoyed his new room. It was neither too big nor too small. It contained two windows with no shades, allowing the sun to enter the room upon sun rise. Sai believed it was important to start ones day as early as possible or you would be missing out on all of life's opportunities. Ita didn't mind, he was just extremely grateful to now have a new home and to not have to live in one that bore such bad memories. The sun illuminated Ita's dark eyes. He raised his hand and began to rub his eyes gently before letting out a contagious yawn. He quickly got up from his bed and then made it. Ita preferred his belongings, which were sparse, to be nice and neat; it projected an organized personality. Besides from his bed, his room was depressingly bleak and almost annoyingly neat. There was not a spec of dust to be found within the room. Next to the bed was a small oil lit lantern and a book, along with a picture of Ita and his mom and dad before their death. Ita picked up the picture and stared at it for a few moments before exiting the room. Not to Ita's surprise, Sai was completely ready. "What took you so long? I thought you were gonna sleep forever." Sai chuckled. Ita rolled his eyes. "Lets go" The two exited the modest wooden house and made there way to the academy once more.

The two eventually arrived at the Academy. The sun was now making its way into the sky. The two enjoyed the suns rays before stepping foot into the building, which was moderately cool because it was not too late into the day yet. Ita was beggining to get sick of the old, tarnished school building that he had spent so much time in growing up. He was now a Genin, and believed he had put in too much work to still be trapped within these walls. Ita spoke, "When are we going to do something interesting? I'm getting pretty sick of this place..", Ita had a pretty bleak expression upon his face. Sai responded, "Relax young one, I actually kind of like being here. It reminds me of the good times before having to deal with brats like you. Anyways we just have to learn a few more techniques, which luckily for you I decided to teach you today. After completing today's training you will officially learned most of the E Rank techniques, well the important ones anyways. Are you ready?" "Lets go."

Ita said eagerly, ready to do whatever it took to get the hell out of this building. The two stepped into a class room and stood a few feet away from each other. Ita awaited further instruction from his Sensai.

Sai spoke sternly, unlike his usual upbeat self, "The first thing you will be learning today isn't so much a ninjutsu, but a fuuinjutsu. It will come in handy I believe a little later... anyways, this technique is very simple. You basically transfer some chakra onto you designated target, placing a small dot only a few milometers wide. Once it is placed it will only be visible for a few moments, then it will disappear. Show me your hand." Ita stuck his hand out towards Sai and Sai snatched it abruptly. His thumb pressed firmly against the top of his hand, leaving a small almost invisible dot. Both Ita and Sai were now looking at Ita's hand. "Do you see it?", Sai asked his pupil. "Bairly.. so what does this do exactly?", Ita asked. "Originally, the seal started as a prison seal to track down inmates that may have escaped. The technique gathered its fame in the ninja world as shinobi realized it could be used to track down targets of interest. Anyways, by placing this small dot on your hand I am able to sense your chakra, if you wish to learn anymore about it you'll have to do some research on your own. Now you try. Ita yanked his hand free then snatched Sai's in return abruptly, which made Sai raise his eye brows with the physical nature of his gesture. Ita firmly pressed his thumb against the top of Sai's hand and allowed a small amount of his chakra to leak out onto Sai's hand forming a small dot only milometers in diameter. Upon leaving establishing the mark, Ita could sense Sai's chakra immediately. "Can you sense my chakra?" A drop of sweat formulated on Ita's face and made its way quickly down his face. Ita swatted at it quickly, to hopefully hide his true thoughts. The truth is, Sai possessed an immense amount of Chakra, unlike anything Ita had ever seen, making Ita a little unbalanced. However he kept his cool. "Is everything okay?" Sai asked concerningly, noticing the boys facial expression seemed a bit peculiar. "Y-Yes, I can sense your chakra.", the boy said. "Good. [Fourth Technique: Genjutsu Release]

It was still fairly early in the morning, if Ita had to assume, it was probably close to 9 AM. Sai and him were now standing in silence a few feet apart inside of a classroom in the Academy. Ita had just learned how to perform the 'Mark Seal' technique and Sai was pressing him to learn another technique before he would have to leave. Ita studied Sai's actions and facial expression which seemed a bit off today. Although Ita had only known Sai for a few days he was already living with him and had a good idea of his personality, and had some idea what he was capable of; which was something he wasn't sure he was ready to fully understand after picking up Sai's enormous chakra a few moments before. Ita was a little skeptical of his intentions, but he assumed they were for his benefit so he didn't think about it too much; although he was still a little curious as to what it was Sai had to do, but he still didn't think it was his place to inquire.

Ita could sence Sai was growing ever more impatient however he masked his true intent by looking towards Ita and smiling, then he spoke, "Are you ready to learn the next technique?" Ita nodded his head, "Yes, what is it we are going to be learning exactly?" "Great, no time to waste. Lets begin ... right now." Upon finishing his sentence Ita had felt a strange sense of chakra emitting from Sai, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Before Ita could reply, the ground beneath Ita's feet began to swirl in a circle with a circumference of 2 meters. The ground turned into a dense liquid, causing Ita's feet to begin to be submerged in the liquid. Ita didn't panic, but he was questioning the reasoning behind what Sai was doing. Upon examining Sai, he felt no hostility so he figured this was all apart of the lesson, although he was still unsure what was happening. "W-What is this?" Ita continued to sink into the ground, he was now waist deep and the movement of his legs were restricted by the substance beneath him. The scenery around him began to morph. Dripping as though Ita had been abducted and placed into a water paint picture. The walls began to drip until all of Ita's surroundings had 'dripped' onto the flour revealing nothing, but darkness and the mixed colors of what used to be the room on the floor swirling around him. Ita was now chest deep in the floor and began to squirm trying to get free. He was unsure of what was happening. His mind began to race a little bit as he attempted to calculate the reasoning behind all this. Why would a man do so much for Ita then betray him as so? Then Ita heard a voice. "Can you hear my voice? You must be wondering what is happening to you right now; but don't worry, let me explain. Right now... you are trapped inside of my genjutsu." Ita became more relaxed and listened. "My genjutsu acts sorta like quicksand.., the more you struggle the faste you are consumed. If you are fully consumed you will suffocate, and die. When under genjutsu, I have control over your chakra. In order to release yourself from genjutsu, you must first understand you are under a genjutsu. This will allow for you to move freely once more within the dense substance enough to create a hand sign, which in this techniques case, would be the 'tiger' hand sign. Now use the hand sign and allow your chakra to flow rappidly out of your body to release my hold on you. Go ahead, no time to waste." Sai finished. Ita now understood, he could feel his hand begin to move a little bit compared to his body's full constriction from before. Ita made the 'tiger' hand sign and allowed his chakra to leak out. Within moments, his surroundings seemed to reverse, allowing all the colors to flow back into the objects which once had appeared before him until they were now standing face to face, where they once were before the genjutsu was released. Sai smiled once more. "Good job, Ita. You have proven to be a good pupil and I have chosen well. You are learning at rates I was never capable of at your age. Now I must be going. See you at home. Goodbye." Before Ita could respond, Sai's body disappeared in a blur of speed untraceable to Ita's eyes without further developing his sharingan. Ita thought to himself, "That guy sure is something...I wonder why he is in such a rush" Ita then decided he should go take a nap and maube go and get something to eat, after all he was still a little shooken up after all that had happened and the strength of Sai's genjutsu. Ita vowed he would learn such techniques and surpass him. Ita exited the ninja academy and headed towards Sai's, and now his, home.
