Hado due to timeline wierdness had managed to find the ninja academy just as a genin exams was about to be held. He could not help but notice that the people outside did not seem to like the ninjas or something, since there were guards keeping them away.
When the guy who was running the exams asked if they were willing to defend the village and such, Hado piped up his little voice "Yeppers, thats the deal I made with Mister Arashi and I intend to stick with it!" As he spoke he looked the proctor in the eye, cheerily.
With the crowds though, it was unlikely that he would be able to be heard clearly, so he hoped that his continued presence counted as a tacit agreement, those proctors were probably pretty strong, and the spears on those guards looked kinda nasty. He was not about to be a traitor or anything, he just could not help but be a little nervous, despite his rather oppressively sunny demeanor.
When the proctor called the ones who already knew the jutsu out, asking them to demonstrate, Hado watched the others, to see how they did things, in case he could do any last minute tweaks to his adjustment of his jutsu. Sure, he had learned them a while back, but he was honestly a little rusty. Hopefully the proctor was fairly nice.
Seeing the piles of paperwork, Hado decided to run over and start filling those out first, since there was apparently a bit of a lineup at the more popular end of the exams. Scrambling to fill out the paperwork, he carefully observed the others at the same time, using his metal sensory to try and help him keep track of the metal pen so that his writing was still legible. He did not know if he would only have the one chance at a rankup so he would be darned if he would give up such a valuable chance. Noticing that not only were there genin rankup paperwork but also forms for Hoshigakure Citizenship (so that’s the name of the place huh?), Hado had grabbed a copy of each. The others did their genin exam stuff as Hado quickly scribbled, while lying on his belly on the floor, that being the most convenient flat surface he could find.
He looked up to see that a mellow blonde woman was trying to take the first guy’s place. On her way though, she passed Hado among those few already at the paperwork station, and he felt a sense of security pass over him, one that he normally did not feel. One that blossomed a bit when he saw some of the ones who had passed the genin exams hugging her, like a parent he missed from the old village. He really wanted to be allowed to give her a hug, as high as he could reach anyway. For that, he had to do well for the exam. He wondered what the envelope was though that she was passing him, but it was likely secretive ninja stuff and he should not pry.
Quickly finishing his paperwork, he put back the pen, into the cup that had held the rest of them, the pen swiftly removed by another would-be genin trying to sign their forms.
Clutching the forms in one hand, Hado got in line to do the jutsu, the line having partially disseminated. When it was finally time for Hado to perform the jutsu, he happily bounced into place, quickly weaving hand seals as fast as he could, while hiding his chakra. Perhaps they would notice his ploy, while he prepared his jutsu, at speeds that were supreme in his eyes, though most likely slow to the proctors, even if he was trying.
As some of the other wanna be genin had tried to hug the blonde woman, Hado figured he would give it a try too. First releasing the Chakra Suppression skill, forming a clone, and then using the Art of Transformation to change his original body to look like someone else, the proctor from his old village. Pointing at his clone, Hado said “Tadaa!!!”
After waiting to make sure the proctors present had seen the two jutsu performed, Hado would carefully release them, and walk up to the blonde woman to see if he passed. Tears started to bubble up, at the memory of his old village. Emotions long suppressed spilled forth, and tears spilled down his cheeks. Half blind, and going off of his metal sensory to avoid tripping for the most part, Hado stumbled towards the blond woman, his arms reaching out for a hug.
If he had passed and was given the genin head band, he would take it (saying “Thank you…” quietly), holding it clenched in one hand, giving the paperwork wherever everyone else was leaving them, and would then slowly walk out from the place, the back of his empty hand covering his eyes, but not the tears that dripped down towards the floor.

Re: Hoshigakure: First Class

The next student to step in line was one that made Akihana's entire face contort in shock, her dominant foot already forwards as she reached to help the boy, convinced that he was hurt and so not here for an exam but a checkup. It took all her observation and deduction skills to not step in right there and then and gather the poor thing in her arms, the blood dripping off him enough to bleed a normal human dry. Casting her golden eyes around the classroom, she noted that he had been dripping over the floor for quite some time and yet had made no mention of it. He didn't mention it now as he stepped up to perform the seals as everyone looked on in horror while the Kunoichi resisted the urge to heal the various wounds on his body in that instant.
As soon as Aivas had finished the exam, Akihana moved forwards, not caring for the blood that stained her white dress in the process. Kneeling beside the boy as he bowed, she reached out a hand solemnly and if he allowed, she would not shake it as she had with other passing genins but hover it near his, the medical chakra glowing on her fingers and spreading through Aivas's body, targeting all the major wounds and injuries the boy was currently suffering from. Another time, she would call him to her personally and ask what had happened to him but now was not that time, it was more important to help him heal than to inquire how he'd been injured. As she healed him, the blonde listened to him talk and nodded, the worry lines still evident on her otherwise smooth forehead.
"Yes, you did fulfill the requirements," she praised, her hands not slipping as they continued to pour healing energy into the boy, her mind diagnosing and rectifying unconsciously as she spoke to him. To his question of uniform, she would say "You can get a free set from the next classroom, though I don't know how long that will last you. Maybe if you'l be agreeable to coming to seem me tomorrow or the day after, we can get you some proper clothes." With that, the blonde removed her hand, her formal assessment assuring her that most of his injuries were gone. Instead of leaving him however, she opened up her arms to offer him a hug. Should he accept it, she would hug the boy and place the small, invisible mark seal upon him too before handing him the Hoshigakure headband.
"You've earned this, all of Hoshi is very proud of you," she spoke, smiling softly at the way as she waved him off She would have to track him down later to see about clothes and maybe a place to stay for this boy who could withstand excessive bleeding so casually but until then, she had other things to focus on now that she knew Aivas wasn't in immediate danger.
"Alright guys, how about we take a ten minute break, there are free cupcakes in the reception area if anyone's worked up an appetite and we'll get the classroom cleaned up in the meantime. Everyone still wishing to take the exam, please return in ten," the blonde announced before heading out of the classroom to let some of the custodians clean up the blood Aivas had dripped everyone. Nine minutes later, she was back in class, her gown pristine and white once again and the wooden floors bearing very little evidence of bloodstains. The first time in line this time was a child who looked not much older than Arata and watching him perform the jutsu required brough a smile to her face. He was also one of the few she didn't need to extend an invitation fro a hug as he came quite willingly, the cutest smile decorating his little face.
And just as quickly, his face crumpled into tears, making Akihana kneel down to match his height before she enveloped the little boy on her arms. "What's wrong sweetie?" she'd ask and wait for a reply, stroking his hair softly as he cried. Blood, tears, it seemed Genin exams had gotten a lot more interesting. She'd listen to Hado and then, with a kind smile, drop a kiss on the boy's hair. "Well, you're a genin now so no need to cry. And you can come see me anytime, okay sweetheart?" Akihana gave the boy an extra hug just for good measure and placed the Mark Seal on him. Then, reaching for the headband, she gave to to him before getting a better idea.
"Actually, can i have that back," she grinned, trying to show that he hadn't done anything wrong. If given it back, Akihana would proceed to tie the headband carefully around Hado's forehead in the typical style shinobi always wore it in, making sure the knot at the back wasn't tight enough to hurt him. "There, now you're a perfect little ninja," she complimented before shaking his hand warmly and waving him out the classroom.
Once Hado had left, Akihana resumed her position at the head of the class. "Alright, so who'd like to try next?"

Souji's Tryout.
Tue Sep 01, 2015 3:02 am
Late as always, Souji discovered the location of where the Genin Exam was being taken place. Being as sly as she is, the individual was capable of sneaking in stealthily without causing much of a stink. As one would expect, Souji had the "luxury" of standing in the back row of all the action. "Just as I thought..." murmured the Hyuuga, "If I wasn't so temper-mental perhaps I would figure out how to read a damn map properly!" She glanced to her side to see several student scoffing at Souji's sudden outbursts. Her cheeks grew as bright as her dress, completely embarrassed by her own triggers that her temptation simpy cannot resist. "There's no way in hell all of us are going to make Genin, there's just to many of us..." Sighed Souji with little to no motivation, slouching against the back wall as her right sole relaxed against the wooden paneling. Moments passed before she realized her idiocy, remembering that she's capable of using her eyes for enhanced visual prowess.
Souji's hands clasped together, her index finger wrapping around the middle. Her eyes lightly closed as she pathetically attempted to activate her Byakugan, capable of seeing only mere energy forces of chakra. The Hyuuga sighed, brushing the back of her head in agitation as she scampered off into the crowd of students. After fighting the treacherous war among preteenaged fellow pupils, Souji managed to squeeze herself to the front of the crowd of Genin. The head proctor stood before the child, stating how student's intrigued in becoming Shinobi must know one specific mandatory jutsu. This technique is classified as the Clone Technique, the one Souji conveniently learned the other night. "Heh..." Scoffed the girl, realizing she had a wondrous chance of making the exams.
Each student quickly took their seat leaving the proximity one by one, dying of anticipation wanting to know whether they had the potential to become Hishogakure's future Shinobi. Two fine pencils and several sheets of paperwork marked with entree questions lied before Souji at the reception counter, filling in the information necessary for registration.. "Well.. They say the only way to face your fears in life is head on, there's only one way to see if they're right." Thought Souji, writing her information on the front cover of the pamphlet. Dusting her rear off, she stretched side to side as she grasped onto her paperwork, approaching the Proctor who was currently in charge of their current testing phase. She was handed the pamphlet from the Hyuuga's hand, scanning it over thoroughly. After several brief moments passed she simply directed Souji with her finger towards a door to another room. Shivers ran down Souji's spine as she took her first step towards what fate had in store for her.
Souji entered the room isolating just her and the Proctor together. In order to take advantage of the moment, she decided to introduce herself. "Hiya! My name's Hyuuga Souji, currently sixteen years of age! I arrived in your beautiful land nearly one year ago, saved by fellow villagers who risked their own lives in order to protect a child they never knew. Since then, I've decided to repay my favors by dedicating my life to the better of Hoshigakure no Sato's military in order to keep this land at bay!" Several moment passed by as tension built within the eager Academy Student, dreaming of gaining a form of higher authority which is more formidable for both her age and experience. As the proctor gestured for the Hyuga to do her jutsu A warm glow overwhelmed Souji, smiling as she clasped her hands together, preparing to achieve her final step of her graduation.
A light aura emitted from the Hyuuga's body, chakra slowly gathering as Souji concentrated his inner will balancing it over with the raw energy of the chakra within himself. Shifting her fingers together, she quickly flicked through all the handseals; (Dog, Boar, Ram) before clasping her hands together. A short burst of chakra energy emitted instantly causing a cloud of dust, an exact replica of herself appearing before the Proctors. "Hopefully that satisfied you!" Shouted Souji, bowing to the proctors as she turned around in order to go sit down to wait in agony as the results were told. She found herself a comfortable red oak chair to lay her feet upon, resting them from the tedious amount of training she'd endured since she had arrived to the village. She couldn't help to stop herself from looking at the clock as every second ceased to merely go by, hoping to hear from the proctor as soon as possible.

The next student to step up was a confident young lady, making Akihana smile. The girl introduced herself better than the blonde proctor would have done at her age and that was always a good quality in a ninja, self confidence. Akihana watched the child perform the two required jutsu with ease and moved forwards to congratulate Souji on her success.
"Very well done," the blonde grinned, reaching out to offer the child a hug like she had offered all other candidates. Should Souji accept, Akihana would give the young Hyuuga a brief embrace and mark her with the seal in the process before handing her a brand new headband with pride. If Souji did not want a hug, Akihana would do the same via a handshake.
"Congratulations, you are now a Hoshigakure genin, go out there and make your city proud!" she said before waving Souji off.
"Looks like you're all very well prepared," she announced to the rest of the students in line to try their hand at making genin. "Who wants to try their luck next?"
(Approved Genin status for Souji. You get 15 stats and a free spec plus the headband. <3)

Souji leaned into the hug, the child nearly motionless as she'd appear to be almost apathetic. Her grip begin to grow tight against the blonde hair's waist, her facial expression seemingly continuing on to be blank. After another few tense moments passed Souji snapped back into reality, slightly nudging herself off of the Proctor before looking her eye to eye as her Byakugan glistened before her. "I-I accept ma'am, I'm sorry, I couldn't seem to control myself..." She'd straighten up her clothing smacking her hands against her Kimono, bowing to the Proctor before taking the honors of the sealing and headband. "I thank you for giving me the opportunity to live a dream which I've never believed was possible... You won't ever forget my name, I promise you..."

Oddly enough, Hado felt more secure hugging, but her words brought extra tears. Burying his face in her clothing, he remained there an extra few moments, when he let go he tried to wipe his face on his sleeve, before accepting the genin headband.
He did not notice the mark seal placed upon him, but he gave a furtive, mostly hidden nod, when she said he could come visit her later. When she asked for the genin headband back, he was a little scared. What if she had realized she had made a mistake?
Still, better to try again perhaps. He handed back the head band, suppressing the horror that he felt, that he had utterly failed again. Then she tied it around his head, while smiling. He nisffled a little, ducking past her outstretched arm, hugging her a third time. "Thank you..."
He would take his leave, seeing the previous fellow who had been all wounded before, Hado would scamper off to try and make friends with him.
(potential exit, claiming genin rank)
