She'll be coming around the mountain (P/Nk/Kozan)

Ashur woke up early that morning, streaming with excitement to go on the camping trip with Kozan. It had been a long week, but he has gotten to godly strengths, and now even gets called "The Angel Of Kumogakure" by a select few (his mother.) The title really stuck to him, and he liked it. He begins to pack a backpack with various items for camping and killing, because Ashur knew it was better safe then sorry outside the village. He made a poke ball from his right hand, and made Brandon pop out.
"We are going to camping with that emo looking kid!"
The frog looked at him with bags under his eyes, and the frog looked grumpy.
"NEVER WAKE ME UP LIKE THAT!"
Ashur took a step backwards in shock, then nodded. He then smirked at the frog as it made coffee.
"Hey Brandon, at least it wasn't like the one time I used your ball at night."
The frog stopped everything, and gave a death stare towards Ashur. The boy looked at Brandon with chills going up his spine. Brandon wasn't in the best, but he will wake up eventually!

After they finished their morning filled with bad memories, they were ready to go to the mountains. They got on backpacks, and began to walk down towards the camping spot.

Once there, the two set down their backpacks and saw Kozan still hadn't showed up.
"Hey Ashur, we should fight in front of him. We haven't in a long time."
Ashur's eyes grew ten times their size as he remembered almost vaporizing the frog.
"How about we do that later..."
The frog smiled, and nodded. Ashur sat down on the ground while Brandon stood alert to protect. Boy, did he have some things to show and tell this time. He was wearing his brown shorts, white t-shirt, flak jacket, a necklace, goggles on his forehead, and his weapon pouches. He also wore two glove and the right one had a ring hidden under it on his pointer finger. The two waited patiently for Kozan.

Kozan, too, had woken up early. The very first thought in his head that morning was the trip with Ashur, and boy, was he ever hype for it. He'd never spent more than an afternoon's worth of time in the mountains before heading back, and there was a very specific section of the mountains that Kozan wanted to stay away from. It was one of his last chances at not becoming more like his aunt, and this one would probably be easy to avoid. It was a pretty dangerous area, after all, full of monsters and such. How Aunt Misaki had trained there, no one could know. Maybe he'd ask the Raikage sometime.

As he finished packing, he heard footsteps outside. Oh, of course. It'd be his mother, coming in to give him a "good morning", or something like that. Sure enough, it was her.
"Good morning! ... Hey, what're you packing for, hun? Surely, you can't be running away..."
No, you stupid bitch, was what Kozan was thinking. Just leave me the fuck alone. Who asked you to be in my life, anyways? You annoy me to no end.

What he actually said was much different.
"No, I'm going on a camping trip with a friend, Mom. I'm pretty sure I told you this earlier in the week..."
And indeed, he had. His mother was, no doubt, getting old. Old enough to die, perhaps? Maybe so...
"Oh, I'm sorry, dear. Well, have a good time. Stay away from the dr-"
He sighed, and his mother gave a small "oh" noise, as she realized that she had hit upon a sensitive topic. She knew that he didn't like his father's side of the family much, and respected that, to a small extent. She only got mad when he talked shit about his father... had his sexual administrations really pleased her that much?

A short time later, he reached the camping spot. He wasn't really late, but he saw that Ashur and his amphibious pal were already there. He was wearing a black t-shirt and grey shorts, and one could clearly see the hilt of a katana sticking out of his camping pack that he had on his back.

"Hey, Ashur. Good to see ya again. You ready?"

"Wait, ready for what?!"
Ashur began to become confused, then remembered the little trick he was going to teach Kozan. Brandon smirked, almost feeling like this trip wasn't going to be bloodless. The frog loved a good fight, and had lots of things he too wanted to show off. The two were stupid for wanting to display themselves, but their deflated image of themselves as ninja was enough to cover this up.
"Oh, did you want to learn Chakra Infusion?"
Ashur got up, and fixed his gloves. He then smirked at Kozan.
"Don't worry I brought my sword alright."
He wiggled his fingers to show emphasis and made the sword appear in his hands at a very fast rate.
"These are summoning gloves, my mom gave me them to travel with. Anyway, chakra infusion is to feel the items in a different way. The feeling is odd, yet it will soon be unnoticeable. I don't even have any power over when I do it anymore, any object I touch is instantly infused oddly enough. The thing you need to focus on is infusing the item itself with your chakra and making the chakra run through it as if it were your arm."
Ashur smiled, remembering when Brandon taught him. The frog noticed this too and smiled at Ashur. Brandon stood alert, and was ready to fight the first person he saw, last time they were in the village a group of Genin were vaporized.
"Hey Ashur, why don't you show Kozan the spot where you killed the three Genin? He might find it interesting."
Ashur tensed up, feeling like this isn't something to be happy about. He had killed three people who did deserve it, but the thought of killing made Ashur sick in some cases. The boy then thought about how much free time they would have and decided it was best to offer at least.
"Eh, if he wants to. You up for it?"
Ashur would wait a bit, then realize he was doing it again. He was being pushy and fast.
"Actually, what do you want to do?"

Kozan raised his eyebrows, about to respond. They were about to enjoy themselves on a camping trip, right? Or had Ashur forgotten so quickly? No doubt he hadn't, but was just joking around. He noted the frog having some kind of an expression on its face, but couldn't exactly tell what it was. Was it some kind of smug smile, or a fearsome grimace? The faces of frogs weren't the same as the faces of humans, so it was truly difficult to understand exactly what the amphibious creature was trying to convey by contorting his features in such a manner.
He'd already had tried to do the chakra infusion, and thought it might be better if he had been taught by a friend. After all, Ashur was probably his superior in many aspects, and as such, he would attempt to follow in his footsteps rather than Misaki's. He was a much better person, he could see that already. Misaki had been well known as a domniatrix and a sadist, so Ashur was her vast superior in that aspect. He'd already accepted that he's have to work up to his level, the only thing left was to ask: how long would it take? Too long, and he'd lose the drive.
To "feel items in a different way"? He put his non-drawing hand on his katana, and attempted to "feel" it with his chakra. Hmm... it was a little better than just trying to push his chakra all brute force like into the tool. He'd heard it said that the most direct path was not always the best... perhaps that applied here as well? Regardless, he needed to listen to Ashur to fully get the hand of it. He knew something Kozan didn't about chakra infusion... and as such, he needed to really draw from the other boy's experience.
Now, there was a concept that Kozan had heard before. Making the tool an "extension of oneself." He nodded, familiar with the idea, as Ashur mentioned it. It made sense in this kind of case, too. After all, he was running his own personal energy through it, which made it kind of part of him for a short time. It didn't really tax his chakra system much either, which was always a good thing. He could maintain something like this in battle with little to no consequences. As a result, he felt, this might be something good for a swordsman like himself.
"I think I've got the hang of it. Thanks, man. I wish I had something to offer you in return..." Indeed, the number of chakra-based moves he knew were far and few in between. It seemed that he had a lot of work to do before he even had a hope of paying Ashur back for this great favor.
Upon being asked what he wanted to do, Kozan would look up with a little of a surprised look on his face.
"Oh, well... I guess we should unpack and set up for tonight, then you can take me wherever you want. I'd like to avoid that part of the mountains, though..." He pointed toward the Dragon Ravine...

Ashur gawked at how quickly Kozan learned, he felt like a complete idiot for taking such a long time to learn something that Kozan learned within minutes. He looked at Kozan a bit weird, but then heard about not having something for him. Ashur wasn't a beggar like other orphans were, he was a fighter!
"Kozan, how did you learn it so quickly! I took me such a long time to learn this!"
The frog was just speechless looking at Kozan, and felt jealous to see someone so good at this. Ashur then remembered about Kozan wanting to give something to him.
"All you need to give me in return is nothing. You have given me all I need, or want for that matter. The thought of reaching higher power isn't within my range I feel. Kozan, you are special, maybe you will become the next Raikage!"
The words echoed through his head of the village leader's title. He shuddered a bit, and Brandon surveyed the area to see two ninja walking down the trail from a mission it seemed.
"That reminds me of this man I met the other day who was named Jason. I asked him what his goals were, and that was the weird part..... he told me he wanted to kill the Raikage. I tried to get him to take it back before others came, but someone else joined in and cut off his hand. It was awful, I had no idea how strict our village really is..."
Ashur began to look upset remembering how he was coming to the realization of Jason defecting in the future. The thought of a ninja wanting to do such a thing made him shudder in disgust. It was at this very moment Ashur knew that he was going to kill Jason if he ever defected. He shivered with this racing through his head as two ninja walked near the camp. Brandon seemed to have a very stern look of anger as the two seemed to be dead serious about something. Ashur got himself together, and put his right hand in front of Kozan while grabbing his sword with his left.
"What do you guys want?"
The two were both dressed up like kumogakure ninja, just with an odd slash Ashur didn't understand over their headbands. He had just simply thought they had gotten a battle slash, and were looking for trouble. They were both looking at Ashur's and Kozan's swords as if they were weighting out how much they would be in ryo. Ashur held his ground, and got slightly uncomfortable.

Kozan blushed, looking a little sheepish. He didn't really have anything to feel guilty about, but for some reason, what he was about to admit made him feel just a tad inadequate in front of Ashur.
"Well.... eh... I kinda trained a little since we last met up. Ya know, a little here and there on the side... Besides, I'm a weaponry user. Bukijutsu is kinda centered around principles like chakra infusion... So, maybe it was just that." His mind still hadn't come to terms with some of the finer concepts of comparative advantages, such as in this case, how he might be better with swords than Ashur.
What was a little disturbing was that someone wanted to challenge the raikage. Inwardly, Kozan was chortling in ridicule at whatever "Jason" person Ashur was talking about. Externally, however, he raised one eyebrow and considered what Ashur had said. Out of his peripheral vision, he noticed the two men and decided to keep tabs on them.
"To be perfectly honest, I've seen the Raikage's power." Indeed, he had seen, albeit from a distance, what Mortarion could do. His power was titanic... and soon, Kozan's would be too. Sheer chakra capable of vaporizing people... amazing.
"That Jason guy, whoever he is, probably doesn't stand a chance." And neither do we, he thought silently, not yet. A sudden thought popped into his head. Someone had cut off Jason's hand? And it WASN'T Ashur? Who could have gotten to Jason first? He opened his mouth, about to ask Ashur, when the two men came up to them.
Judging by the design on their headbands, they were former Kumo ninja. Hey... that wasn't good. Most likely, they hadn't liked Mortarion either, and left somehow. His eyes narrowed.
"These are missing ninja, Ashur. They can't mean anything good." He spoke to Ashur quietly.
"Damn straight!" One of them chortled. One was pretty fat, and Kozan suspected that it was this bulk that he thought looked intimidating. Probably not much muscle though... more useful for falling on people than for actually fighting. How did he turn out as a ninja, anyway? Mush have a good proficiency with chakra... the other one was a thinner man, who seemed to be quiet. Kozan was more suspicious of him than the other one. He needed to gauge how good these were first before actually taking action.
"Now", continued the fat man, "You're going to kill your friend." It was clear from his body position that he was talking to Ashur, and asking him to kill Kozan. "Then, we might let you and your froggy buddy live. Otherwise, we'll kill you all anyways, hohohoho!" His accent was weird... like he was from some place to the northeast, where people ate potatoes and sausage all day. Well, whatever. It was time to see what Ashur would do... if anything, Kozan was ready to summon Nightblood.

Ashur began to feel his palm sweat, and his lip quivered. He heard stories of the akatsuki and Ashur thought these men were part of it. He wasn't going to go down without a fight though. He put his hand away remembering Kozan wasn't someone who needed to be defended.
"You two really talk a lot of shit."
Brandon walked over besides Ashur, and kept his eyes locked on the skinny one. He saw the a large threat with this one. The skinny one held what seems to be a massive black rectangle on his back, and walked forward. He met eyes with Ashur, and the boy didn't flinch one bit.
"Hey, you are part of that dumb feather clan right?"
Ashur nodded not steeping down. Inside he was horrified beyond belief of these people. The skinny one looked into Ashur's eyes like he was prey.
"How about you kill your friend over there, and we might leave you alive. This sounds fun doesn't it?"
Ashur was getting sick of this, he wasn't going to let them talk like this.
"Kozan, don't hold back for a second. These guys are tougher then I could imagine."
The skinny one chuckled, and brought out his hand towards Ashur's face. Ashur tensed up, and wondered what he should do. He then looked to see a tiny hole put into the palm of his hand.
"What the hell is that?"
Ashur pointed to the palm of the skinny one's hand, and the man grabbed his own arm as if he was bracing for something.
"My name is Kanzo and I am here for that nice pair of wings from your dead body. Don't worry this will only be a second."
Ashur ran forward with his sword drawn, and the man pointed his palm into Ashur's face. Kanzo would smile as a violent gust slammed into Ashur's face. The boy would then go flying backwards as if he was teleporting, and would fly backwards off the mountain. Brandon watched in fear as his friend was suddenly just gone in a flash, while Kanzo blew at his palm as if it was the end of a gun.
"Uggghhh, now I have to get his body from the bottom of the mountain. What a waste of time."
The tall one began to walk towards where Ashur was launched off the mountain and looked as Ashur was struggling to fly. He would let out a loud laugh, and began to pull off the black rectangle from his back. Brandon stood in horror, unable to think straight after Ashur had gone from A to B in seconds. The man then unfolded a massive fan to one red dot, and looked at Ashur barley able to fly.
"Ninja Art: One Folded Hell Blade."
Kanzo was positive the fat one was enough trouble already for the one with this boy, and was taking him time to save the wings. Ashur would look up with a bloody face to see as Kanzo released a violent gust of wind towards him. The gust would hit him before he could hit a finger, and he was ripped to pieces as he was pushed backwards. All the others would have seen was the worst way to die imaginable. Kanzo smiled, and folded back up his fan onto his back. He then began to walk towards the path as the puff of smoke in the air was going on. Kanzo had overestimated his wind abilities and thought Ashur would be killed so easily.
"Why do I even waste my chakra?"
The man would snicker and look over at Kozan at this point, Brandon stood there acting as if he was horrified still. The frog knew Ashur wasn't going to die so easily! Ashur hid on the side of the mountain, and was sweating heavily as he saw his clone was killed so easy. He still had another next to him, who was definitely taking his chakra up. He would wait, and plan out his next move after the close call. He could only hope Kozan didn't think he would have died so easily.

470/530 Chakra

Kozan's body and mind kicked into overdrive the moment Ashur put his hand down, and the action began. However, he didn't have much time for thought, as the fat one immediately started spinning handseals. Hmm... even for a fat man with fingers like sausages, he had quite a way of making graceful movements with his fingers. Talent, even in the hands of such a rogue, was difficult NOT to recognize. Oh well. Kozan was about to snuff them all out anyways. He moved his right hand slightly as the thin man raised his at Ashur, preparing to summon Nightblood. However, he stopped.
There were three reasons that he did so. The first, and least pressing matter, was that these two men had already learned of Ashur's clan. Should even one of them escape the encounter or have some way of using chakra to transmit information, then they'd recognize and learn of Kozan's bloodline as well, and give away the intel to whoever they were working for (if, indeed, they were working for someone). Considering, however, that he could choose to not reveal this ability and still (hopefully) keep up, he could probably maintain his secret and prevent anyone from identifying him with the previous dynasty of raikages.
The second reason was that somehow, even across the dimensional boundaries that separated him from the sword, he could hear Nightblood whispering to him.
"Let me.... let me kill them. Let me cut them down... they're evildoers, right? Pleeeeease... you know they'll love my metal in their guts, and you will to! In their guts, I mean, not yours! Teehee..."
Needless to say, Kozan had been trying for quite a while to get this damn sword to simply shut up... and now that he was actually getting somewhere, he wasnt' about to let Nightblood have any fun. It was simply just a bad idea.
The last reason was that he was suddenly reminded to Aunt Misaki, and her apparently vast array of armors and weapons that she could pull from the requip dimension at will. She had gained mastery of it so much faster than he was... and that was the difference between them. He could be strong without his bloodline, couldn't he? That settled it for him. At that moment, he determined that he would try his best to win without summoning Nightblood. These guys couldn't be that difficult to kill, could they?
So, instead of summoning the blade into his right hand, he put it on the hilt of his katana instead. A far inferior weapon to Nightblood, but it would do. He shifted, his right foot coming forward towards the fat man, and his right hand moving quickly.
Draw.
The katana would come forth in a heartbeat from its sheathe, a brilliant flash of light (so it would appear), going towards the fat man's stomach. He'd attempt to gut him like the fat frog that he was...
However, his efforts were for not. For as he swung the blade, the man finished his handseals, and a purple square barrier sprang into existence between the two, and the blade clashed against it, the impact force sending a jarring sensation up Kozan's arm. So, a barrier user, huh? It seemed that it was pretty consistent with his style. Trying to protect his "soft parts", this one would probably rely on his friend for the offense while he himself merely provided backup and support with barriers. Testing the shield's strength, he had no doubt that Nightblood would have no difficulty shearing through this kind of chakra... but he had promised himself that he wouldn't bring it out at all.
Well, in that case, he merely needed to use Yojinbo rather than the simple quickdraw that he had learned ages ago. But for that... he had to re-sheathe his sword. He proceeded to do so, and realized almost immediately that it had been a mistake. The barrier dissipated in a flash of small purple particles, and the man who had been apparently weaving a new set of handseals sent a barraged of similarly colored spheres at him. Had he still had his blade out, he could have deflected the majority of these. However, as it was, a few of them impacted with his body, knocking him back a few feet.
The fat man chortled.
"Hoho! Yew can't even take a few of those?"
Wow, he voice really was disgusting. As he finished speaking, he launched a few more, the projectiles travelling straight towards Kozan's collarbone and shins. That wasn't good; he really was going hard in the paint. Kozan shifted to the left, going for a few steps before turning to the man. Shit, he didn't have any ranged jutsu. This was no good... he had to at the very least try and keep up with what Ashur was doing. If not, then what was he?

Ashur began to tense up at the thought of being matched against someone so strong. If he went full out, he would kill or harm his ally. He then decided to do something great! He had his clone fly up to the level the ninja was at.
"Hey bitch face! You think a weak attack like that will kill me?"
Ashur wasn't good at strategy anyway. He flew around towards the path they traveled up, and watched as the man took the bait.
"Eh? You actually got away from that? Wow, the chances were almost none that you would do that. At least you aren't using those puny ass feathers on me."
Ashur began to feel enraged by this, and so did his clone. His clone took the sword in it's hands and threw it at the ninja at godly speeds. The missing ninja laughed as Ashur motioned to Brandon for what to do next. Kanzo let the sword hit him, and things got scary at this point. The sword went straight through and all you could have seen was water where he was hit. His body reshaped, and he began to get out his fan.
"Time to make sure I hit this time!"
Brandon would at this point activate truly toxic as Ashur came running up to the camp. Kanzo ignored the frog, and wrote him off as a regular old familiar it seemed. He got out his fan and unraveled it to the third dot and looked at the clone with a smile.
"How could such a little brat think he could kill me from behind?!"
Ashur looked horrified as the man turned to him with the fan, and Brandon went for a punch into Kanzo. That part of his body turned to water then reformed after the first was taken out. Ashur knew his options were limited here, so he did something reckless.
"You think you are something fast? I am looking at you and I am wondering if the fat man could finish before you! You just rely on your partner!"
Kanzo's eyes began to become shadowed out, and he looked horrifying. Ashur was ready for combat as the man fully unraveled his giant fan.
"7 Deadly Sins Of Hell: Massacre Winds!"
Kanzo got ready to whip his fan to make a massive amount of powerful winds strong enough to cut through steel. Ashur simply smiled.

Kozan was now a little disturbed, especially now that Ashur was goofing around. What was he doing? Even if that wasn't the real him, bringing out a clone like that was a waste of chakra and the element of surprise. Damn it, Ashur, he thought. If you keep making mistakes like that, we're going to die. These guys aren't just ninja of our level, to be trifled with... then again, he didn't know exactly what level Ashur was on. For all he knew, he could just be playing with these guys. But he, in the meantime, might have a little trouble if he didn't think fast.
Having his sword re sheathed was good, it meant that he could do another quickdraw move. However, how was he to get close to this guy? Well, there was always one option... taunting him.
"I've figured out your ability." And indeed, he had. The spheres that he had tossed at him were transparent in such a way as to reveal something about the nature of what was inside them. And that, of course, was air. The spheres were hollow, not solid, which was what led him to his next conclusion, one that he was sure was correct.
"Your bullets... they're barriers as well, aren't they? You're not able to have any real offensive powers or moves... so you just resort to tossing barriers at me."
At first, the man appeared shocked that such a young one had somehow figured out such a complicated and well kept secret (if it even was any of those things), but then, his face resolved back into an ugly sneer. So, he had realized... what, exactly?
"Kehehe! Looks loike yewve figure oot my ability aefter all." He began to weave move handseals, which meant that Kozai was in deep trouble. If more of those barrier spheres came out... but this wasn't a sphere. Instead, it was an enormous fricking barrier in the shape of a blade that came out of the air above the man's head and shot toward Kozan, meaning (in all probability) to impale him through the entirety of his abomen. Hmph. Such a crude attack. Kozan shifted to the right and to the outside, narrowly avoiding it. If he had had Nightblood, he probably would have been able to get clear of it entirely, but of course, he didn't see the need... yet. He also didn't want to at all.
Now that the person who played Kozan was tired of writing an accent all the time, the man spoke again.
"Ooi... you aren't just a genin, are you?"
Kozan smirked. "Naturally." It also seemed that Ashur was beginning to handle things pretty well on his side too. Well, that was always good. Maybe they would both make it out of this unharmed, save for those few bruises he had. It was at that moment that the man began to grow larger, his fat somehow resorbing into his body and actual muscles growing where there had been none (and in place where you wouldn't expect them. His skin ruptured in various places as it stretched, small trickles of blood flowing down his skin. Holy crap, what was this?
-You know what to do.-
Aunt Misaki's voice... he knew that he wouldn't be able to take this thing without Nightblood.
Fine, you bitch. Just this once... I'll use your power.
He reached his arm out to the side, and Nightblood appeared there. As he unsheathed it, sending the scabbard back into requip, he called out to Ashur.
"Get out of here. I'm going to take them both down at once."
As he said this, a strange black smoke began to pour off of the sword, as in his mind, Nightblood began to screech with laughter. It was time to slay some evildoers.
