Dragons of the Terumi Clan

As the smoke of their shared addiction seemed to swirl around them, in both the simple demeanor that Oda used and the more playful smoke rings of Takashi, he would listen to the brief description Oda provided in regards to the cigarette hanging from his lips. His eyes during this conversation peered at the lay of the land, taking note of the great landscape of igneous rocks formed from their lava as it cooled and froze to solid slates of black. Takashi could read there was a deeper explanation to the new habit he had witnessed from Oda, enough to have him question if Oda cared to explain. Oda obliged his curiosity as he divulged the information needed in order to paint a clear picture of the setting which led to this change, "Well, perhaps it was a sacrifice you made for the greater good. I guess you could always think back to your good work when the temptation sets in." Takashi would take another hit from his kiseru pipe, burning the remaining tobacco in the bowl to ash, leading to him dumping the remains and placing his pipe back with the rest of his gear. As Oda finished his cigarette, using chakra to burn away the remains he stated he had yet one last technique to share with Takashi while they were there.

As Oda made his way back to the center of the clearing, standing atop the glassy surface they had created from their lava release techniques. He began to weave a few signs, Takashi recognized them as Ram → Boar → Snake → Dragon → Horse common sequence with fire release techniques. This obviously hinting at the amount of fire needed to form molten rock to such a magnitude, his final seal held to his lips in a manner very close to a technique they both were familiar with. As he exhaled, Takashi half expected to see flames, but was surprised to see the blob of magma drip from his mouth and quickly form into a rather impressive snake as it cooled slightly solidifying its shape yet still emitting heat. A smile took residence on Oda's face as the snake seemed to burrow itself into the ground, now evading sight as it seemed to dance in the earth below their feet. Takashi's proficiency with Earth Release allowed him to feel the minor quakes as it moved around beneath them, it eventually burst from the earth and coiled itself around its master just as they had once done with their fiery dragons. "I would say you had a little inspiration for this jutsu from one we both know quite well." Takashi remarked with a slight chuckle as he brought his hands together forming the first seal, the Ram.

Takashi maintained a smile on his face as his hands proceeded to go through the motions forming the remaining seals; Boar → Snake → Dragon → Horse , which was followed by his hand being nearly pressed against his lips as he inhaled a deep and mighty breath. The chakra began to swirl and rush around within him, at first mere chakra flames, but with a solid push he mixed in the earth element and created a ball of molten rock within his core. With an exhale from his lips a rather large blob of magma fell from his lips, the shape of a large goo at his feet began to move on its own as it took the form of a serpent very similar to the one currently wrapped around Oda. The snake would swirl around Takashi before diving into the earth, traveling around both the Terumi Shinobi beneath the surface before emerging 5 meters from behind Takashi and coiling itself around Takashi in a manner very similar to Oda in front of him. With a smile, Takashi released the jutsu causing his serpent to turn to igneous rock rings that collapsed to the ground around them. "Wonderful Training, we keep this progression up and soon people will call you and I the 'Dragon's of the Terumi'." Takashi would smirk to his friend as he returned his upper robe to his torso as he prepared to end the day of training. He lifted his kiseru, packing the bowl with tobacco and igniting it with his chakra like before. He took a puff just a moment before speaking to Oda again, "So, wanna grab a bite to eat? I know I could go for some warm sake."

If Oda agreed, they would leave the Shinoda Springs together in search of sake and food. If Oda decided to go his own way, then Takashi would turn and leave with a trail of smoke behind him as he did his signature departure of his right hand in the air forming an 'L' as a goodbye to Oda.
