Hmm, so you want to play it like that. The kunai pointed towards him was aiming for a vital point, and it seemed like she wasn't playing around. It was coming pretty quick in too, however too bad for her, Etch had been working on his strength for the longest and wasn't going to take a hit that easily. Etch being already to his feet, surveyed the kunai coming towards him. Etch honestly wanted to attempt to catch it, and see how strong he was. However, the kunai was coming too fast, and even though he felt strong enough Etch refused to risk injury. Instead, Etch decided to simply grab out one of his kunai's, and throw it towards the kunai speeding in on him, canceling the two out. Now Etch knew it was serious, she was trying to seriously injure him, and Etch wasn't going to take that. Though he was a lot more calm from before, and not really caring about all that's happened, he knew she didn't feel the same way. He probably only made her even more pissed off though, going on the aggressive side of things. For this reason, Etch had to do the same. As his clone and two shuriken were closing in on her, he was beginning to wish he actually aimed for a vital point. He was being too nice, Etch assumed the tournament rules should be practiced outside of the tournament as well, but he supposed that wasn't the case here in Suna. Suna ninja loved to fight, and create injury it seemed. He let out a deep sigh from the whole thought of it all. Etch was surely in love with this place, but the ninja here were just meh.
Getting lost in thought and distancing himself from what was going on, Etch cooked up a plan of his own. He was quick to think, and knew exactly what he could do. Since she was already about 5 meters from him, Etch would use his dynamic entry. Coming in at full speed and power, this was to put a number on the unknowing woman. Etch jumped up and began to soar through the air, creating his Dynamic Entry, while his clone and two shuriken led the assault. Etch was planning to make a nice dent on her stomach, with a speed of 20 and strength 39. She wasn't going to die from it, but definetly wasn't going to take it all like a champ. Coming in from all the momentum, he was expecting at least to hear her cough up blood. Or something. He also decided to grab one of his kunai's from his weapon pouch, to use as a weapon itself. If he missed the attack, and somehow so did his clones and shurikens, he would land and enter a countering stance, with his one kunai to lead the assault. During the jump to the dynamic entry, Etch also yelled out, “ By the way, the names Etch."
At this point on, Etch wasn't really caring about her safety. That kunai to his stomach told him as much, that she didn't either. So why should he? He had about enough from her, though he still felt as if he could tolerate her. Somehow...Gosh, she was really seeming like a pain up his backside. Still, there was no holding back. He'll attempt to repair things after she was down for the count, though he knew that probably wasn't going to happen. After this, he began to wonder how many friends the woman actually had. Could people really handle how rude she was? Or maybe that first encounter was just the rare time she was rude, and Etch was being the mean one? Who knows, but he knew for sure not just anyone would mistakenly say that out of instinct. That must of been rehearsed or something. Damn, today really didn't turn out as Etch expected, this wasn't a friendship or a rivalry, this just turned into him being hated. Etch really hoped that could change and she could see how he really is, but chances like that are slim in the world they live in of course. Etch had this all in his mind while attacking, mixed with feelings of regret and excitement. The excitement being of course to kick her in the stomach, and just battle in itself.

OOC: actions discussed in private.
The distance was closing quickly, and Kira watched as the boy rolled out of the way of the Kunai from Sakura Corp as it pierced into the bark of the tree. The sharp weapons had missed the boy by the skin of his teeth. He must have not had much fighting experience because so far, he was looking like a total amateur. After performing his quick roll, the boy leaped into the air and proceeded to go into full kung fu kick formation, coming straight at her. In the process, he was yelling out some gibberish about his name being Sketch? Stich? Etch? Something along those words. Kira wasn’t sure since epic battle music was playing inside of her head as the battle had all of a sudden turned into an AMV.
The boy wasn’t fast, that much Kira could tell. If he was, he was definitely holding back because Kira could see the boy coming from a mile away. Reacting swiftly without stopping her momentum, She baseball slid right under the incoming boy, dodging the attack completely while remaining eye contact with Etch. Right then and there, in that exact moment, Kira could have very well ended the battle with one of her superior justus. But what would be the fun in that? She would drag this out a little bit longer and see what else this kid was capable off. The tournament was coming up after all and she had to get a good long examination of her opponents. Once The Uzumaki had escaped the boy’s attack, she would continue her momentum and wall run up the dead tree, before taking a seat on one of its branches. She would have done this at full speed to have been in sitting position facing Etch before he would have had the chance to even face her. She swung her legs back and forth, observing the boy before she finally responded to him. “Tell you what, land a hit on me and I’ll tell you my name. For now, you can just call me The Princess of Sungakure!” She said, filled with pride. It reminded her of when she made Salzem call her ma’am. The girl would just sit there and wait for the boy to make his next move. She wanted to milk this boy for all he’s got. The more prepared she was for the tourney, the better.

Etch wasn't too happy at how the events just turned out. He was felt so inferior to this Woman. He knew his speed was lacking, but wasn't too sure it was this bad. Etch never seen any other ninja before so quick, this world is full of weirdos. This just proved to him he wil have to work harder to finally enough speed to match others. Until then people will just go easy on him, like now for instance. However, Etch didn't feel as bad about it then he would be, this just encouraged the fellow to train even more and get better at what he could do. As he watched her sitting in the tree and acting so casual, Etch knew she was just messing with him. Why else would she do that in a battle? This also displayed her confidence in her speed and abilities, most likely being a senior Genin then Etch. No matter. As she announced her title as the Princess of Sunagakure, this made a smile across Etch's face. That was quite the title to live by, and a pretty funny one at that. Still, this was all becoming fun and games to Etch, so he decided to play along. Though it may be a outrageous turn of events to actually follow her rules and beliefs, it seemed okay. Etch will just act like he was fine with it while he was actually the stronger one and the one in control, at least for the future. Etch continued on with a smile and gentlemen like bow, " Of course, m'lady. Let us dance the day away with our fist." Etch assumed the Princess would take this as him teasing her, but it actually wasn't that act. He genuinely just felt like having fun, and being polite that way. It was all not meant to be teasing or mocking in any shape for form. Well, maybe a little bit.
Etch surveyed the issue at hand. She was sitting down now, about 5 meters away, and seeming to be completely calm and relaxed in this situation. What could Etch do? She was probably relaxed to the muscle, not even seeming tense at all. He supposed he could try some of his kunai? That could work, he needed some way to match speed with her, and this could be a better way of doing it. Still he had no clue how he would get out of all of this as the victor, she was quite the agile opponent. He got out one of his smoke bombs, and unhesitatingly threw it to the ground. She wanted a show, the Princess will get one. Now invisible to the naked eye, Etch got out his shuriken, and threw one towards her previous location at 57 speed throwing. He also began to build up momentum, running through the smoke towards the Princess, and obtaining two kunai from his weapon pouch. He held them to his face like a shield, also in a stance able to throw them at a moments notice. This was becoming a game of speed, and he would need lots of it in order to prevail. Maybe this tactic could work out for him, and his kunai would lead him to victory.
This Princess was quite the confident one to say the least. Just to think about it, she nonchalantly ran into Etch, sat on a tree during a fight, though it's not like Etch couldn't say the same. He did something quite similar, it was like she was giving payback. But still! If she was making a payback stance she couldn't try to make it look cuter then him. Damn, and now she wants to be called Princess of Sunagakure. What's next, he will become her butler?(OOC:Only if I'm like Sebastian Michaelis ;/) Still, she was quite the formidable opponent. And her attitude was full of confidence and pride. He was glad to have such a enemy though like that, who carried herself with such a fire and way of life. He respected that though he knew she probably didn't think the same of him. Etch was completely different then others. Though one may be a enemy or some bad blood has happened in the past, Etch was able to fully look past that and find the respect one deserves somewhere. He liked that about himself, and he was finding good traits of The Princess as the fight went on.

Kira eyed the boy up and down, giggling to herself as the boy called her m’lady and took a bow. Man did it feel great to be treated like royalty! “That’s better. I’m liking you already.” People she could easily manipulate always made it to the top of her list. It just made it easier for her to get what she wanted in life. She was practically Regina George, and Sunagakure was her high school. The distance between the two was about five meters, give or take. It wasn’t that great of a distance so if the boy had a trick up her sleeve, she’d definitely have to watch out. This wasn’t just about winning, but also making sure the kid didn’t land a hit on her. She had no intention of giving the boy her name, since she liked the fact that he was calling her ‘m’lady’. Had a very nice ring to it. The Uzumaki girl just watched the boy carefully, watching his every breathe, every twitch of his fingers, waiting for him to move a sequence of muscles to make his attack.
A few moments passed, as the tension (more like awkwardness) grew higher. With her eyes still focused on every inch of the boy’s body, she tensed her muscles as he reached into his item pouch and quickly threw a small pellet like things onto the floor, bursting at a speed of 50 as it quickly filled the area with smoke. Just as the smoke was filling the field in a 10 meter diameter, Kira placed her hands on the branch to lift herself up. She then rose her feet so that the heel of her foot was on the wooden surface before she pushed off and launched herself at a speed of about 45 and 7.5 meters into the air at an angle so that she gained ground distance from the boy too. Kiri reached to her thigh, where her kunai holder was an pulled out a single kunai, while keeping her other hand free to form a protective barrier just in case. This boy was quite smart. He seemed to have analyzed the situation and realized the she was faster than he was. Only way catch her by surprise? blind her. The Uzumaki smirked to herself. This boy didn’t have as much experience as she currently did, but he sure had potential.
Having been moving at roughly the same speed as the speed that the smoke dispersed, she stayed out of the smoke for the most part, but she had no view of what the boy had planned. In the moments after he threw the bomb, Kira thought that the best two possibilities he had going for him was to launch a projectile, or some sort of ranged jutsu. The chances of it being a physical attack seemed low since he not only blinded her vision, but his own as well. The distance between her and the edge of the smoke cloud was about 3 meters when a shuriken came launching out. Well within her reaction time. Kira deflected the attack that was aimed at around her hip as she now began to descend. One the Uzumaki landed rather quickly onto the sandy ground, she would place her arm forward, and shoot three balls of chakra at speed of 40 and a power of 35 into the smoke. This attacked was aimed straight forward, assuming that the boy ran in a straight line towards her after the smoke bomb was thrown

While Etch was running through the smoke, he reached his max speed, trying his hardest to get through it. After a second of his shuriken leaving his hands, Etch heard no sounds or suggestions that the attack landed, showing to him that it must of missed and the Princess was gone. He ran cautiously, but still quickly to escape the smoke that blinded himself. As he began to read the exit of the smoke and was beginning to see the outside world, these three bullet like substances were homing in on him, directly in front of Etch. It seemed to be a counter attack, and one to take advantage of the predicament Etch put himself in with his gamble. Luckily, the smoke didn't spread to far, and his reaction time was quick enough, while the bullet like chakra was slow for him to maneuver out of the way, jumping to his left to evade the attacks coming in hot. He landed on his feet, while supporting his landing by placing his hand on the ground, open to the training grounds. Etch saw his enemy, the red headed Princess in his vision, in front of him. Etch had to act quick, or miss such a oppurtunity to gain the advantage and land a hit on his target. Etch was quite curious to know who his Princesses name may be, and was eager to find out.
While in each other's sights and after dodging the bullets, Etch gave his Princess a slight smirk with his yellow eyes. He then stood up while still in a crouching position to throw the kunai in his left hand at 57 speed, while beginning to run towards her again. Maybe he would test her capabilities in Taijutsu, that would be nice to do. The kunai was aimed towards her kunai's hand, in order to leave a cut for his opponent to gaze upon, marking the victory he would soon hold. While still running towards the Princess at once again half speed to gain momentum, he would bring his kunai to his head while dashing forward, in a stance to deflect any weapons or sorts that could come at him. By then he was about 3 meters away from her, staring down the kunai attempting to give her a scratch. His guard was still up, with his kunai doing so in his right hand, and his left hand open. He wished he had some sort of jutsu to use in this situation, one where it would be like a projectile or ranged jutsu as well. Sadly Etch lacked such jutsu, making things more difficult for himself. Still, his Taijutsu would be able to prevail in this fight, and him closing the gap between them would make it better for himself. Then Etch could land a couple blows in, and land a cut on her. However, Etch's aggression towards the Princess was gone, and was switched out with a playful rivalry attitude towards her.
Etch wasn't able to see the facial expression of The Princess being so full of adrenaline, but he assumed it had to be a happy one. She must of been enjoying this battle, and probably was enjoying the fact he called her m'lady too. It meant nothing to Etch though, it was all fun and games. To him he was going to beat his sweet Princess very soon. If she tried to use any projectiles to counter the Incoming one, he would just throw the one in his hand to replace it while continuing to close the gap, and probably follow with a Dynamic Entry or the sorts. If she tried to evade the kunai, well here's another one coming in hot. Predicting she may try to increase the distance between them, Etch knew he would have to use the Dynamic Entry, to at least close off that gap. It felt like check to Etch, at least in his head. This check only showed that she was in a difficult position, and Etch would be quite intrigued to figure out where she would go from there. But her majesty better act quick, the space was closing in, and that kunai was definelty about to graze her.

OOC: Fair warning, I didn't spell check and its late xD
The Uzumaki watched as the boy shot out of the smokescreen just as she was preparing her attack. The three balls of chakra launched at him in a chance to end the battle right here and now. Though, now being able to see, The boy adjusted himself in the nick of time to evade the blast of chakra which impacted the rough snow below, sending clouds of sand into air and small craters in the ground. Kira brought back her hand to her side, and stared at the boy as he landed back onto his feet. The seem to be exchanging glances in this chance of fate, enjoying each other’s company as they tested each others strengths and weaknesses for the tourney that was ticking close to starting. While The Heterchromatic Eyed Girl had a rough start when first meeting the kid, he was really starting to grow on her. after all, it was only a tough day she was having. The kid himself wasn’t too bad. And he had some great potential.
The two continued their game of shifty eyes, eyeing each other down until someone finally made the first move, and the first to go was Etch. Kira, deep down commended the boy for acting before she would have to. She hated when people made her make the first attack. The boy launched on of the kunai’s at her, and then proceeded to run behind the kunai. Looks like things were about to get a little physical. The incoming projectile was launched at a speed that could easily be read by the girl. Reacting proper, the girl deflect the attack with the kunai she still held in her hand and watched as the boy closed the distance between them.
3 meters.
2 meters.
DING. DONG. DING. DONG. A large bell went off near the centre of the village. Just as it did, the uzumaki did the seal of confrontation just as the boy was a meter away, causing a large barrier seal to spring underneath their feet. In continuous, the girl did a backflip out of the 3 diameter barrier to prevent the boy from touching her while she was distracted. It wasn’t smart for her to underestimate her opponent and assume he couldn’t escape, but the barrier had a power of about 85 power, so she’d be impressed if he was able to get out of it. Kira turned her attention away from the boy as the smile momentarily disappeared from her face as she looked off into the distance. A dozen birds or so flew off into the sky to the loud noise that shook the village. That bell only meant one thing. The village was about to erupt into a volcanic explosion leaving them all to turn into dinosaurs, OR the tournament was officially about to start. It was safe to assume the latter.
The smile on Kira’s face widen back up. This was it, it was time to prove herself to the village. She had been training pretty hard for this moment, and she was damn excited to see who she was up against. Would it be Gwynevere the Pyromance, the girl she had been dying to face off against, her partner in crime, the jelly to her jam, the peanut to her butter, the ugly to Kira’s pretty. Or maybe the boy she was currently with, Etch, or some other soul she had yet to meet. The thought send her exited shiver through her body. “Well, looks like it’s time!” Kira announced loudly to the boy, still facing away from him. She dispelled her jutsu, assuming that he would get the message that their spar was over. “We had to get heading towards the stadium, we won’t want to be late!” Kire said to the boy, smiling. Her mood had done a complete U-Turn since they had first interacted earlier. Kira began to run off before she stopped for a sec, remembering something. “Oh, by the way, the name’s Kira.” She told the boy. Even though he hadn’t landed a hit on her, she figured it was the least she could do for ending their little spar early. Besides, up to this point, etch had also proven that he was worthy of knowing her name. It was possible that he would become a great ally to have in the future. “But don’t you dare think for a secon this excuses you from calling me m’lady!” Kira said, as if scolding the boy before giggling to herself. “Anyways c’mon! We should get a move on, we don’t want to be disqualified for tardiness! Maybe we’ll be continuing this little fight out on the big field!” she said before she ran off towards the stadium. She could already hear the loud crowds gather to watch the fights that were going to take place. This was definitely going to be exciting, and hopefully, by the end, Kira would be a Chunin of Sunagakure, and deemed a stronger ninja. That would also mean she’d be one step closer to finding her parents.

While running towards The Princess, preparing to throw his second kunai in hand, he was stopped by a barrier of some sort as he watched her make a seal. It seemed like a pretty strong one, not allowing anything in or out. Impressive, he thought to himself. It was extremely strong, something Etch definelty wasn't expecting from her, just goes to show Genin here are stronger then it seems. Once looking up at her again, he began to here the ringing of bells which must of stopped her as well. What was that? Could it be...The sound of the tournament beginning? Oh damn, that wasn't good. They only had a certain amount of time to show up, before being disqualified. Etch stood, flipping the kunai in his hand, waiting for the Princess to make a move. What would she value more? This little spar, or the tournament? Etch wasn't betting much on the spar, but he was still prepared to throw the kunai at her face with a moments notice. Such a loud bell, it seemed like it rang forever before it began to die down. The birds began to flock away from the sudden alarm, and Etch surveyed the sight along with his Princess.
While it began to die down, Etch had a lot to think about. Who would his first opponent be for the tournament? Could it be his Princess, the red headed woman right in front of him, or maybe Gwynevere. This just reminded him, she probably held a grudge! Or some fire inside of her, she definelty felt something. After all, he did accidentally cut her pretty badly, requiring stitching. But he did end it all on a good note, seeming like Gwynevere was alright with it. So hopefully that wasn't too bad. Still, it sent chills down his spine knowing she could be his opponent any moment. He was brought out of his deep thought by the Princesses words. Her attitude changed completely, surprising Etch. She was no longer mean or had a prideful stance, she was jolly and upbeat, something seeming ludicrous to happen out of no where. It dawned upon Etch how they would be disqualified if they were late in any way, and it made Etch surprised and kinda stressful. They had to make it there or all of this would of been in vain. " Alright let's go already! Remove the barrier." Etch threw the kunai once in his hand inside his weapon pouch, and signalised the twos alliance. She actually seemed to be pretty cool. Once she went on with the M'lady once, it made Etch laugh a bit. She seemed to like being called that, Etch supposed he'll keep it that way. " Kira was it? Well, that's a nice name M'lady. But we have to hurry to the tournament, maybe we'll see each other at the finals." Though Etch was eager, Kira led the way. It seemed to be a joyful day for all the Genins participating, and also a stressful one. The crowds roars sent a jolt down his spine of nervousness and excitement. Etch followed beside Kira, walking to the stadium, where the day they've been training for was about to begin.
