Water Park up in Suna[IO, NK, P, Salzem]

With already 2/3 of his chakra inside of his stomach, Etch saw it as a interesting yet difficult task in order to place the last third in his stomach but not mix together. It was such a weird and different way to use elements. Etch never thought of or saw it that way. As he said before, Etch only just had to focus his chakra and it would turn into Lightning. This pure form of Chakra was a little bit more different. It felt more raw, and seemed to have sharp edges. Etch wasn't sure if it was because his natural affliction towards lightning or what it was, but he felt the unorthodox chakra inside of him being formed that way. Nonetheless, Etch did what he was instructed, to place the last third into his stomach but not mold them together. In Etch's head, the chakra that was already in his stomach was pictured as a ball rolling inside of his stomach, causing the rumbling effects in his head. Etch then saw as he added the last third in to there, that the previous chakra ball was being coated with the new chakra amount. It was of different colors in a sense, and the chakras never fused together. He made it so. One just was in the middle, and the other was on top and a lot less of it. He then allowed it to settle in, working its way around. Being there for awhile, allowing it to flow together and rumble and what not, Etch began to feel the uncomfortable feeling Salzem was talking about. His stomach felt as if it was bloating and being shocked in a sense, and even turning. The pain was extreme, and Etch knew it was time to exhale this feeling. Etch began to push this feeling out of himself, through his mouth. He allowed the feeling however to do as it wanted, taking any form, as long as it just came out of his mouth. After moments of going through pain and uncomfortable situation, he felt the force at his throat. Opening his mouth, emerald like water flowed out of his mouth, and was dropping to the sand, where it seaped and merged with it. Holy hell, he actually just learned the water element with the help of Salzem! How sweet, Etch was thankful of Salzem, and wished to express that after the flow ended. However, Salzem seemed to want to get through this as quick as possible, skipping straight to the other topics at hand. He obviously wanted Etch gone, which made him feel a little bad. However, he supposed it was alright. The jutsus Salzem recommended were mainly just taijutsu, telling Etch he was a taijutsu specialist.

"Well, seeing as your a taijutsu specialist and all. I have quite a few jutsus I would love to have for the upcoming tournament if you don't mind. I wanted to learn Leaf Rising Wind, Dancing Leaf Shadow, and possibly Gangeki I think it's called." Etch finished his statement with a straight face. He knew it may have been a lot to ask already, but he was so interested in learning those three jutsu, and just knew he could pull off some great combos with them.

Upon hearing what Etch needed to learn, Salzem's distain for the boy diminished a little. At least he knew what he wanted. Starting with the easiest of the three, Salzem looked around for a dummy he could use as an example. Fining a nice wooden one driven deep into the ground, Salzem plucked it up as if it were a carrot out of a wet field. He carried it back over to Etch on his shoulder before holding it out in front of him.

"The Leaf Rising wind appears to be a simple rising kick, but it requires much mental and physical discipline to master." Salzem tossed the dummy 8 meters in the air above him before explaining further.

"The kick must focus your physical energies not through the body, as it to pierce it, but into the body, making the force hit all the opponent, driving them upwards." The dummy was coming down fast, in front of Salzem. 1-2 moments more and it would crash back to earth. That was fine. He knew exactly where it was.

"Preferably on the opponent's center of mass or chin. Like so." Just as he said that, the dummy entered his sight, hanging a foot or two above the ground when Salzem acted. Using most of his speed, Salzem slipped under the dummy and raising his leg quickly and powerfully in the same motion. His foot struck against the dummy's wooden middle hard and firm, sending it flying 10 meters into the air before crashing into the earth about 2 meters to the right of them. He expected Etch to have similar results.

Etch was in awe right at that moment. Did he actually just witnessed that? First of all, this man was crazy strong. He pulled that dummy out of the ground like nothing. Then, he threw it up into the air high like a kite, and finally kicked it into the moon. This example was stupidly crazy! Damn, and to think, this kid is only a few years younger then me. Etch had to catch up soon, that was just insane. So let's review over what just happened, or at least what he was taught. It all happened so quickly Etch had but no clue what to say. This was the leaf rising wind. Etch has to focus his physical energy into the body, allowing all of the force to pack up and annilhate his opponent. Just through the body wouldn't work, all that does is make Etch kick through the dummy, probably not making it sky rocket into the air. At least that's what he assumed..What else was he missing. Oh, and it had to be on the chin or at the center of the stomach. Of course to take the whole body up there. It was also a mental jutsu though, but in what ways? Etch only ever saw Genjutsu as one though. Salzem's explanation had Etch thinking. But he was sure to get it with Salzem's help. Etch stood in front of the dummy, and launched it into the air, about 5 meters high. Once it landed, Etch was ready. Bouncing back up to the air, Etch as quickly as possible, got underneath the dummy, and tried with all his might to make his physical energy from the kick through the body, being the dummy. His kick closing in to make contact, Etch quickly kicked the dummy, making it jump into the air. Sadly, the dummy only just quickly fell back to the ground, as if something went wrong. Etch was so confused, he wasn't sure what the mental part of it all meant. Did he mean to be ready, or what? Hanging his head low, Etch knew he didn't do so well. " Hey uh, Salzem...What did you mean by the mental part of this kick? I'm not sure what exactly I did wrong either. Maybe just not enough power, or I need more practice through spars..." Etch was dumbfounded about how this didn't work out. He knew in the past working it all out in a spar helped him, maybe that would do so too. Real time battle always did it for him.

(I feel like we gonna have to get a spar in after you attempt to teach me all of this, so I can at least try it on you if you'd like. I can't solo 1k words just in one post when it comes to training, I can in spars though XD)

Salzem rolled his dark red eyes before locking them on Etch. He knew he couldn't expect Etch to get it immediately as he had. Everyone had their learning curves. This in mind, Salzem pushed down the frustration building in his stomach. Instead, he forced a smile and got into a fighting stance.

"I suppose a little hands on experience would serve you well." Salzem cracked his knuckles. First one hand, then the other. He then lowered himself into a fighting stance.

"Try to land the move on me. I warn you though, if you don't try to hurt me, I'll end up hurting you." Having said this, Salzem would beckon Etch to come at him with his pointer finger.

(Sorry for the short post. i'm terrible at segways into fights XD)

Uh oh. Etch knew he needed a quick spar session to try this out, but this seemed a little dangerous. Salzem looked like he could be a menacing foe, and of course now he would have to practice is attack on him. Etch felt like he had to take it easy on Salzem, or else he would get angry. But surprisingly, Salzem said differently. If Etch didnt give it his all, he most likely would expect a boot in the stomach. Holy shit, this was huge. Would Etch get mistakenly seen as holding back when he gives it his all? Etch knew Salzem was probably incredibly stronger, and didn't want to make any issues without it happening. Well, oh well, Etch would have to go for it. As Salzem began his combatant motion, Etch began to jump into his fighting stance. He was quite happy in order to get private lessons from such a strong opponent. Etch still had but no clue what type of rank his tutor was, but he had a feeling the man was trustworthy. Besides, why would he be doing so much and going so far for Etch, just to stab him in the back and kill him. It was time to get rolling. Etch began to focus his inner mind while preparing to conduct the leaf rising wind. After his first attempt at it, Etch felt like he was already getting the hang of it. Thanks to his example from earlier, Salzem was increasing the progress Etch was making by a mile. He was extremely thankful for this kind gesture. Salzem was turning out to be a cool dude in Etch's books. After focusing his inner mind and beginning to run towards Salzem, Etch already was feeling the physical force inside of him. Luckily, it all felt quite familiar and normal, and something he can withstand running with. As he dashed towards Salzem, he felt his force beginning to build on top of each other and grow in prowress, becoming quite the force to deal with. Once a meter or two in front of Salzem, Etch began to quickly pick up his pace, hitting maximum speed. Though not much, Etch's momentum was good enough for this practice attempt. Etch began to finally reach Salzem, and as he got into his face, began to crash to the ground and use his hand as support to stay up. Close to the ground, Etch used his force with his right foot he's been packing onto the whole time, on a upward kick to Salzem's gut, putting all his might into him. Etch wasn't really sure whether or not he connected correctly, but the way he just did it seemed to be right. It just felt extremely natural and like he did every motion correctly and to the best of his ability. This force felt quick strong and abnormally fast to Etch, possibly because all of the built up energy laying waste and becoming free. If Etch seemed to have done this correctly, he probably would of launched Salzem into the air about 6 meters or so. At least that's what he was hoping for. The other alternative, which would be his downfall, is only kicking Salzem in the position where he layed on Etch's foot, but not projected into the air. It felt more so like a gamble. At this point out of all things, Etch was feeling kinda bad for having Salzem take a direct hit from Etch. Then again, maybe it wouldn't even faze Salzem at all, and he'll just shrug it off. It sucked honestly, doing that to the guy who just taught him so much already. But then again he did ask for it, and Etch wasn't trying to lose a limb just for not completing a training direction correctly.

Salzem stepped back slightly, letting Etch's foot slip by his face. Barely. He supposed the form and grace he had demonstrated was sufficient. But this next technique would truly test his ability.In response to Etch's attack, and while Etch was retrieving his leg, Salzem would teach Etch his second technique. He slipped underneath Etch's guard bringing his own leg up in a leaf-rising-wind. The foot would connect relatively softly (by Salzem's standards) with Etch's chest, launching him 6 meters into the air, easy. This was where the Second technique came in: The Dancing Leaf Shadow. Salzem leaped into the air behind his "student" Slipping underneath him and mimicking his areal movements, only 3-4 inches underneath him.

"This is the Dancing Leaf Shadow..." Salzem whispered to him darkly. As soon as he said this Salzem would grab Etch by the back of his jacket, dragging him back down to earth at a rapid pace.. Just as it seemed he was about to slam him into the ground, Salzem halted his rapid decent, landing gracefully with one foot, then the other. He set Etch down beside him, eyeing him for injuries.

"You must have focus and form when doing this technique. The key is that the opponent won't know you are behind him or her until you make the first move. This gives you an advantage. You must mimic them like a Shadow." Salzem helped Etch to his feet.

"Try it. Knock me into the air with the technique I just taught you. I'll allow it. Then, shadow me as I hand suspended in the air." As soon as he said this, Salzem braced himself for Etch to strike him. He wasn't expecting much of an impact, but it didn't hurt to be cautious.

(Due to The Suna Tournament Starting soon and due to inactivity, gonna have to exit. claim what you can and get ready for the tournament.)

Salzem wondered whether or not he hit Etch a bit to hard as he did not respond, move, or anything. Salzem gave him a once over and deciding he was just zoning out, he left. He figured that if he wasn't going to pay attention, then there was no real use in training him for the tournament.

"Good luck at the Tourney." Salzem grumbled before disappearing in a cloud of sand.

(Exit. Claiming nothing)

After the demonstration given, Etch was in a daze. It felt like a split second, but when he came to it seemed as if Salzem was gone. Etch had no clue how long he was out, the impact Salzem gave on his leaf rising wind was more then what Etch could of handled. He must of been there for quite some minutes, for Salzem to up and leave. When he came too, no one else was there. It was like a wasteland where he stood. Damn, he missed out on this teacher! Well at least he left him with sufficient amounts of teaching. The example on himself was more then enough. Though he wasn't able to see the attack at a 3rd person point of view, Etch knew after it being used on him a good way it was worked out. Etch happily thanked Salzem out loud, for he is the one who is making Etch even stronger as the days go by. It's a nice sight to see a passerby like himself help out Etch so much, and he was extremely grateful even though he left so soon. He was never entitled to help, but still he did. Etch will remember this help for a long time. But on to the matters at hand, learning this great jutsu.

When Etch was kicked was when he began to be dazed. During the dancing leaf shadow was the time he was dazed the longest, most Likely resulting in Salzem leaving. The jutsu he said needed to be as if you were the targets shadow. They could never know you were behind them, and it would make for a sweeter treat when you latch onto them and bring them to the ground. The surprise that Etch will now share with his victims during the Dancing Leaf Shadow will forever be a reminder to him how it felt. The feeling of crashing dead into the ground, and the pain that could follow. Etch was surely glad not to have to feel or notice that, or he at least hoped he didn't. So, Etch began the training in order to obtain the Dancing Leaf Shadow underneath his belt. Though difficult, Salzem's teaching would help. Etch found the dummy him and Salzem was practicing on before hand. It looked all beaten up and broken when Etch picked it up and looked at it. Salzem really dissapeared and left nothing behind, though he did hear a good luck from him before his absence. Alright, time for action. Etch didn't know how he felt about not having Salzem around after, to tell him if he did anything wrong, but Etch assumed that he would feel when it was right. He knew when he did the leaf rising wind correctly, and Salzem agreed. So now time to do it again. Etch copied Salzem's actions from earlier, throwing the dummy how into the air, waiting for it to drop down. When it finally hit the ground which felt like a eternity, Etch knew it was time. As it bounced back up from physics, Etch got under it in a second, and began to spin his body while kicking up into the air, towards the stomach of the dummy. It felt like the perfect kick, hitting dead center and kicking throughout the dummy, like Salzem's tutorials. Now came the more difficult part, the Dancing Leaf Shadow. Etch watched as the dummy soared into the air, up to about 6 meters into the air. Etch took this time to jump up into the dummy's blind spot, pulling off a half perfect sneak attack. As Etch was behind the dummy, he grabbed on to it quickly and unhesitatingly, and became to focus his weight towards the ground. He altered the direction the two were going, and began to make the two plummet to the ground, spinning while doing so to increase speed. There was no way out of this one, he thought. As Etch was gaining less distance towards the ground, he realized he had little time to act, or knew how to finish off the jutsu. Salzem didn't finish it for Etch's health, and began to wish he practiced on the dummy. Oh well, he had to improvise. As he got closer, Etch let go of the dummy while also forcing it to continue its route, while Etch broke free and fell from the ground by himself upright, while the dummy's head was still situated towards the ground. After, Etch heard a loud crash from the ground, once landing, he feasted his eyes upon the dummy's head being implanted into the sand of the training grounds. Seems like Etch did it correctly after all. He generously thanked Salzem for the help given to him today. He learned oh so much, the water element, Leaf rising wind, and the dancing leaf shadow. If it wasn't for Salzem, he wouldn't be prepared as much for the tournament. Still, it made Etch a little sad to know Salzem was gone, and no where to be found. He hoped they would cross paths again one day, on the same side. He really needed to thank him for the help. Etch felt however it would be useful to give it one last more practice round before calling it a day. Etch began to pick up the dummy from its roots, and lifting it. It was actually a pretty difficult task, it seemed to be stuck there. However, Etch managed to get it out in due time. Etch grabbed the dummy and threw it into the air, repeating the same motions as before. He waited patiently for it to fall down, going over in his head exactly how it would go out. He was pretty prepared this time, knowing how it went beforehand. As it hit the ground, it was time for round 2. Etch once again got under it, quicker then before, showing his increased skill in the matter. As Etch kicked it upwards into the air, the kick was the leaf rising wind and proved to be quite strong, seeming like wind like forces connected between the kick and the dummy, manifesting into physical wind seeming forces. As it went higher into the air then before, Etch appeared behind the dummy. He felt so nimble and experienced with the jutsu already, he grabbed on to the dummy quicker then before. It felt almost as if someone was controlling him, someone more stronger and quick. He knew this wasn't the case, but it indeed felt like he got stronger so quickly. Etch began to plummet into the ground with his enemy as well, building up speed faster then ever. He finished the deal off with a pushed off escape, using the enemy as leverage to escape while speeding up the process of it falling. Once he pushed off, he heard a louder crash then before. Etch wasn't sure if it was because he was closer or what. Once the sand haze evaporated, Etch saw the sight at hand. The dummy was much deeper into the ground, and seemed to be like a victim oh the merrier. The top half of its body was in the sand. Well that just showed his progress in the dancing leaf shadow. Etch felt extremely happy over his Victory learning the jutsu. That called it for today, Etch got the dummy out of its restraints and left it by a tree. He felt good after today, though he missed out on one jutsu, it wasn't so bad. He learned quite a lot from Salzem today, and was extremely thankful for the workout. He felt stronger then ever, and more quick too. Salzem though a cold fellow, was pretty nice and helpful. When they met again, Etch would thank the man more formally for the opportunity to win the tournament easier to him. Etch walked out of the training grounds, taking the same route Salzem potentially took. By this time it was a little after noon, and behind him were dents in the ground, muddy water from the sand and water fusion, and a broken down dummy.
