The Grand Adventure[P, NK,Ongoing]
Tue Oct 27, 2015 12:57 am
He woke up staring up at the sky, smoke covering the skies in a distance. Etch had no clue what he had done, nothing at all. Sitting up, his clothes were tampered with and broken down, into multiple holes and what not like he just commenced in a battle of several wars. Blood covered his body, but he felt no leaking of his bodily fluids. As he stood and turned around, a masked man came out of the shadows. He seemed intimidating and gremincing. In two seconds, the man was directly in front of Etch. With one sword, he punctured him, causing Etch pain like any other and falling to the ground. The moment he hit the ground, Etch found himself inside of his room.
He himself, was on the ground as well, but in his room now. A dream, he said. How wonderful, one so terrible it actually jumped him out of his bed. It was about midnight at the time of his awakening. God damn, that was a hard fall though. Etch stood up, and starred off at the moon up in his lovely desert. That dream was quite something. It felt so real, so scary. It was almost as if he actually was in a war zone, and just waking up just to get killed. Etch felt like it was almost predicting his future in a way. He's been training very hard for weeks, and it's been paying off wonderfully. But he wanted more, something bigger then that. He needed to go on a training adventure. Yes, one thats big and full of training and power. A Grand Adventure.
Etch was feeling quite hungry after his nightmare. He got a good meal in his belly from his kitchen. Unable to sleep, he assumed he have to begin his adventure right now. Etch got up and began to walk out of his house. The midnight was filled with a bright, full moon, and the slight breeze of the desert was cooling to the touch. The village was completely lighted up thanks to the moon above, being so close to the village as usual. It was so wonderful at night, the village and the moon together. Etch felt at peace here, walking down the sandy roads leading around the village. While walking, he found himself walking aimlessly anywhere. His mission, right! The training adventure. He decided it was truly time to begin it all! Etch decided he would make a trip around the whole village, whilst training. It was midnight, he had all night and day. It was truly up to his will whether or not he would do it. Etch began to go towards the most well known and basic training area, the training grounds. Etch dashed through the moonlight to do so.
He finally made it to the empty training grounds. The place was full of the moon shining down, and the sand glistening thanks to the moon. Etch had decided to take action with a quick jog around the premises. He felt he already had enough stretching walking around the village for awhile. Upon the jog, Etch was in dire need to begin his workout. Over the days, Etch has been able to gain a mass more strength. He's been able to lift more things, and hit with more of a punch. He also wanted to gain more power, for this reason he began to lift boulders with more ease and tree trunks, producing happiness within him. Etch wasn't able to ever do that before, but now he was able to! Just shows practice makes perfect. After some sessions of lifting, he began to run with the boulders he had in hand. Once finished with this physical workout, Etch was a little sickly tired. He didn't really wanna work at all anymore. Still, he found it in himself to practice his whirlwinds and dynamic entrys again. They really helped out. After that, Etch wwas basaically done for the day. He wanted badly to go on this adventure, but it had to wait for other people to go with him. Etch ran home, and jumped straight into bed. Thoguh trying to sleep, he just couldn't bring hismelf to it. He so badly wanted to run and be a stronger foe, which is the only thing that got him back up and sitting in his room.
In his room, Etch decided to begin to mediatate. It was a odd thing to do at this time, but hell he was gonna do it. Fuck it, I'm gonna get stronger, but i should first try to get in tune with myself. Etch sat on his floor, in a upright pose. His window was open, allowing a breeze and the moon to swish through. Etch began to breathe in, and breathe out. Breathe in, and out simultaneously. He then began to picture himself at the grounds he wasa just at, but with a figure in front of him. The person looked to be the same height as Etch, like a copy. Looking up, the person was actually a copy of Etch! What the hell? This was extremely odd. Why was this person that looked to be Etch's twin before him, in a meditation adventure? And why did he wear the same attire that Etch's dream killer wore? It made no true sense to him, however Etch still went on to study and talk to the man.
"What is your name? Who are you? And what the hell are you doing here." Etch was quite hostile towards the imposture, it was his first time ever doing this and it was weird. He continued to breath in and stay calm in order to stay in the trance and here the man out.
" What? I am you, of course. I'm you, the one who wants the same as you. Strength and power, to protect this village." As he said this, the figure began to raise his hand and lightning sparked onto it. In this trance, the moon was yellow, so bright and yellow it actually made the lightning more dark and like the color of sand. " Why is it that you stopped your training and came here? Don't you want this?" The copy then ran towards the tree with the lightning hand, and pierced it, causing the tree to almost self destruct and dissapear.
What the hell?!?! Was Etch actually able to do that? This was his copy, but a copy in a trance. This could all be played out, however Etch wasn't controlling this figure, it acted on its own. Therefore he knew this was the figures doing. " What is the name of that jutsu, and how do I obtain it?"
The figure looked at him with intense yellow eyes, and looked as if he was mad yet happy Etch was intrigued. Almost as if he was glad Etch didn't give up entirely on his mission for power. " Chidori. Now go and train, we must get stronger for the better of this village." The copy also mouthed the hand signs for the jutsu Chidori. After doing so, Etch was pierced by the figure before him, with the Chidori. All he saw last was the black coat flailing down, before once again awakening from the meditation. What the shit was all of this? Well, it was quite some adventure ill tell you that. This was also pretty cool, Etch wasn't expecting these turn of events. Time to get cracking.
Etch began to once again, go out towards the training ground, but this time in a rushed format. Etch was eager to obtain the chidori, it was so strong and can prove to be useful for future encounters. Once he made it to the grounds, Etch eagerly began to focus on himself. He felt in tune with what was about to happen, and even stared at the tree which was taken down in his trance. Now it was time to get rolling. Etch began the jutsu. It was a difficult one at that, raised to be a A rank jutsu out of all things. His first lightning jutsu was going to be the Chidori as well, how cool! He began to focus his intensity and will into the power of this jutsu. It was going to shock the stadium of the tournament, and prove to be extremely difficult to counter. He wasn't sure however how badly this jutsu can hurt people, but he would worry about that later. Though he had a pretty good idea where that was going in his trance presentation from before. Best believe though, he had no real life tutor or anyone to help him, but that trance was more for insight. Now he knew what he had to do, and was prepared. Focusing, their began to be short shocks in the sand around him. It was quite odd actually, he never did manipulate his chakra before. Only taijutsu, no lightning. It scared him as well, however, the shocks didn't hurt one bit. Well that would make sense, it being his own chakra and all. Etch was at the stage where he was just practicing getting in tune with the lightning. He would focus the Chidori in his hand, and would allow lightning sparks to jump out of no where, getting in sync with everything. It took quite awhile to do so actually. While the time he began to dose off from not doing much, but his determination to do this carried on! With each attempt to do so, more sparks would present themselves, making him excited as he went on as well. On about the 120th attempt, he felt pretty natural and confident with what he was doing. Now it was time to take action.
Etch tried to obtain more chakra to focus into his living hand. It was beginning to be engrossed in lightning, so much lightning indeed. The lightning he had was so clear and white, it seemed beautiful to just stare at even though being a deadly force. Etch put more and more chakra into it all, before it began to focus and form fully around his hand. Oh Shit! Etch actually just pulled it off! At the moment of it forming, Etch was sweeped with a sight of happiness. It stayed there momentarily before dimming off, and producing a shockwave that hit Etch. What the hell? He just did it too....Well, can't do anything about it he assumed. It was his first lightning technique, and a A rank jutsu. Still, this had him wanting to train and get better at it even more. Now what he need to practice on was obtaining this form. It was extremely imperfect, but he was at a good start. He carried on to channel his chakra to his hand, and produce the mass of lightning. He began to hold it longer and longer, before beginning to feel the chills of tiring himself and his chakra out. Etch knew this was about the end of his journey for now. Though he still wished to continue going, and not stop there. So he found it within himself to push forward and on with his cause, not worrying about the repurcussions. Soon, Etch was beginning to feel once again the tired feeling he was having. He knew the Grand Adevnture would have to end soon, and he was no where near being done with it at all. He decided it was about time to pack up, but first he attempted one last time at the Chidori. He focused his inner lightning, and brought out the jutsu. It lasted about 5-7 seconds, with him just standing there and trying to contain it. Though it failed, he was getting better at mastering it. That's all he could ask for. at this time, Etch called it a rap for the night. he would continue the adventure in the morning, and prove to train the Chidori more and more with time. For now, he went off to sleep and slept about the morning to come. Where he will learn more of the Chidori.
The next morning was a great one. The Moon clocked out, and the sun came to present its fiery essence. Etch was wide awake, remembering all that happened the night before. It was quite the turn of events that happened, but none the less it was a new day. A new time to learn the Chidori. He was excited to learn it. He knew today was going to be it, time for his show to begin. Etch got up and wasn't feeling very hungry, so he skipped out on eating. He left his headband behind again, making it more apparent to not wear it. He just didn't care for it much anymore, and was beginning to like the look of his hair hanging lower to his eyes ever since his hair has been growing. Etch was walking towards the training grounds once again. He walked in, and was walking around the place, discovering more and more of it, to find a secret area that he never found or saw before. It was isolated, and had more trees then the usual training grounds. It was as if this place wasn't put down on the Suna map, or made public to others. It was actually pretty cool to Etch, having wide range, a good breeze, and targets of course. Etch was so prepared to continue his Chidori training, he was beginning to really like the jutsu itself. It seemed quite cool and versatile, who wouldnt like it! This also helped to bring out Etch's secret love for lightning release. It was so cool and strong, and extremely made up of a wide range to do with it. Anyway, Etch finally found himself at the training grounds. He was here once again, after what happened last night. Instead of beginning to train or make a workout, Etch decided to go and meditate. He wanted to tell of this figure, friend and foe, of what happened. Etch found a cool area at this new place to lie down and meditate without the fear of the sun raining down on him. The wind blew smoothly across Etch's face, as he began the procedure to enter the world he was in before.
Etch was once again in another world, but this place was different. It was more like a warzone then anything, full of debris and blood, much like his dream from before. It was all so weird, what did this all mean to him!? Why was it important. Etch wanted answers so badly but couldn't find any. Etch was walking around the area when he once again found the same man from the dream and his meditation before. He looked again, to be just like Etch, but wearing different attire. There also seemed to be a darkness covering him, and following the copy around. It wasn't as noticeable as before, when the copy was here in the meditation. Was it caused due to the change of scenery, or something more? Etch was confused, but spoke to the copy.
" What has happened to you! You seem more pure of darkness." Etch truly had no clue what the issue was. The figure was just looking before him out of anger and regret, but said nothing until moments later.
" Nothing, this is just the far that's been going on in our head. Something which can happen in the future, I've just come out of battle is all. Now, go train the Chidori. Iv'e seen what youve been doing, and youre almost close. Now go!"
Etch took the advice from his counterpart, and began to wake himself up from his meditating slumber. He was doing good so far, and this copy of him, whatever he was doing, was telling him to go on farther and better! The copy was right after all, which was good to know. Etch could do this, let the Grand Adventure rage on. Etch woke himself back up after all that just happened, and was still sitting underneath the tree at this new area. The area was actually quite calm and peaceful, and Etch really liked it. He also was eager to bring some lightning to it, the element he loved oh so much. But first things first, you have to get your daily training in. You can't just worry about jutsu and what not if your physically body is suffering, that's how you mess up! Etch began to do his usually running, lately increasing it to several miles on end. It was a tiring exercise, but a exercise none the less. Meaning, Etch would get stronger from all of this soon enough. He was just so happy and full of spirit being able to learn the jutsu soon, he just couldn't hold it in that much. He began to rush through the miles a little more, eager to get it all over with. The reason why he didn't skip through the daily workout is because it was beginning to be a ritual. Etch truly believed in physical and ninja workouts, so did both accordingly. Etch was just about done with his sprints when he began to start the lifting process. It was a good one to say the least, he loved the feeling his biceps gave him out of sheer pain. It just showed they were getting stronger, and the fact they felt more heavy also made him happy. Just showed his punches would be more of a punch then ever. He even began to punch small rocks, feeling the power behind them growing. Even if it seemed unsafe, the rocks seemed to not harm Etch in the slightest, just showing his strength growing more and more. Etch was just about done with his workout for the daily portion of it. Now it was time to get in to the good business. The Chidori of course. Woo, he couldn't wait for it any longer. Etch was already focusing a considerable amount of lightning and chakra into his stomach, bringing it out to a physical form in his hand. Sleeping on it didn't seem to help him however, he was still off on how it felt. It felt extremely odd, and like he just knew how to do it, but all those extra attempts last night didn't really mean anything now. It actually sucked so much. He was beginning to feel like the work he did last night when he didn't have to do it, meant absolutely nothing. However, he brought his spirits back up. He began to reminisce on how that night, when the moon shown so brightly, he was barely able to make any sparks whatsoever. Now look at him! He was able to completely make several ones, and focus them all onto his hand. If that is not progress, Etch had no clue what would be. Etch felt happy for this reason, the dream wasn't dead. The Grand Adventure wasn't dead! This brought his senses back together, and even added on to it! He was ready to take the tournament by storm, with this jutsu helping him. Etch was glad to have such a will and strength towards his goal. Etch went back to the mission at hand. The Chidori. Etch focused all his might into the Lightning, creating more and more sparks as the Lightning went on. He would have to make his body remember pushing his boundaries past its limits, and making it to the other side, being maintaining the Chidori like last night. It was just such a immense power, Etch had to focus and add on to it. Etch was getting stronger by the second, adding more and more juice into it. By then, it seemed like more lightning was produced before him then last night, all being circulated around his hand. Etch was feeling fired up. Now back where he started, with even more power then before. Etch began to attempt to maintain the Chidori's form in front of him. It was of course, a difficult task. But who cares?! He was going to do it, this Genin right here was preparing for his tournament. Focusing more and more on the Lightning being maintained, this A rank jutsu was beginning to be a difficult task to have. He went on this time, with this new set amount of power, to only have it on for about 10 seconds.
Etch sat down after the Lightning disappeared, breathing heavily at the amount of chakra used up. It was definitely a heavy hit, but he felt his stamina replenishing help to serve him to continue on. At this point, Etch began to see a flaw. The copy of himself in his meditation was deceiving him to a extent. Etch knew full and well, that you could master a jutsu. However, he didn't realize that this meditation copy of himself was actually using a mastered version of the jutsu. This whole time, he was just producing the jutsu in a mastered form, without the hand signs he forgot about. Damn, that's actually extremely well for him. No one could be able to do such a thing, and here Etch was, being able to do a portion of the mastered version of the jutsu for only a brief few seconds. Even though, you had to weigh in him being a Genin, and it being a A rank jutsu. Etch felt extremely good about himself, and was for sure knowing he could do this whole thing with ease on his back. Etch got up, after having his stamina recovered, ready for another go. This time, he followed the hand sign directions given by the copy, and was holding his hand as he felt the Lightning chakra build up in a greater mass then before. It was so much, the Lightning being so divine and white, almost blinding. With this new outlook of the Chidori, he was able to hold it for several seconds, focusing it much better with the help of the hand signs. Just shows how important they are, can decide whether a jutsu will succeed or not. Now that Etch was able to manage the Chidori itself in his hand, he now had to begin to walk. Not being a mastered jutsu, he could only move in a straight line with it. Still, he would change that soon. He knew he could get the mastered version of the jutsu soon enough. It just needed time is all. But first, to completely finish the Chidori. He was so excited at this point, he was really going to conquer the Chidori, his first ever Lightning jutsu! Yes, he could feel it all within him. He could feel the Chidori's Lightning surging within him, and just static all over him. Etch began to walk forward, trying to maintain the Chidori, and walk at the same time. It was definitely a difficult task, wobbling forward, like he was unable to walk. Soon he began to focus too much on walking, and the Chidori disappeared. Shit, he thought. It's going to take more practice. Etch started the Chidori again, coming so far. This time he was able to move a little quicker then before, adapting to the speed of the jutsu and power, and being able to balance the two forms, being the Chidori and his walking. He was able to last about 13 seconds walking. Over time, he was able to walk and use the Chidori for 20 seconds, adding on and on with the jutsu, seeming to become like second nature to Etch's senses. By the time he was able to run with it, he was a menacing force. Etch was able to keep the form of the Chidori, the walking distance and speed of his movement, all together. Now came just to put on top the power of it, had he could call it a win for his Chidori. Etch faced a tree in front of him, it being quick thick and tall. Etch began to follow the hand sign commands for the Chidori. He then held up his hand, as sparks of Lightning showed up, becoming more and more like a thunderstorm in his hand. Once it was a storm of thunder and hell, Etch began to run towards the tree in force. Etch then came up to it with his speed and power, striking it bare through its center, causing the tree to explode from the inside. He's done it, mission complete. Etch was able to use the Chidori in succession, and blow a tree up. Woo! This was a big win. But now, Etch needed to master the Chidori, to use it in a better variety of things. One being its movement. At the most, Etch was only able to move In a straight line with the infamous Chidori, so how else could he use it unless his opponent was so slow they couldn't move out of the way? Etch saw it as a imperfect jutsu and not being able to be used until he thought it could be changed for the better. This imperfect jutsu, with so much power, lacked the movement. It also put a very heavy strain on Etch's body, it having cost so much energy, and him being only a Genin, this A rank jutsu was a lot to him. Though it was quite beautiful with its dazzling lightning and chirping sounds, it still did a number to him. If he ever intended to use this jutsu in the tournament soon to be, Etch had to reduce this strain. The best way to do so was training with it more and more, to perfect it to his standards. Finally, the jutsu had so many hand signs to use. It was crazy. About 12 Etch counted, this needed to be reduced as well. He already began the jutsu recently without the use of hand signs, so he was pretty well off. But still the amount of hand seals scared him and he felt much more comfortable using the Chidori without any need of hand signs whatsoever. So Etch began his mastery training with a loud bang.
It was around noon at this time where he was training at the new area. The place was still as peaceful as ever, but just more trees seeming to be missing. Of course, we all knew where these trees have gone. All thanks to the Chidori, completely annilhating it all together. Etch really was liking the Chidori for its power, and soon it would be one of his favorites. Etch pondered over what thing to work on first. It was such a wide range of things that needed to be worked on in order to be perfect. The amount of hand signs, the movement around the field with his Chidori in place, and the cost on his body. His ideal was to just throw the Chidori around whenever, but this would take awhile to do. Etch pondered for awhile, but soon decided to work on the movement first. The ideal form of the Chidori would take some time, but at first he can at least work on his movement with it. So Etch had a plan. He would move in a circular direction and take out 3 trees during this time. This would be a nice old test to begin his training to maneuver with the Chidori. Etch began to several hand signs to construct the Chidori. So many hand signs, it was ridiculous. He wanted to get rid of all of them so badly, just lay waste to every single one. But first he had to change the maneuvering abilities of it. The Chidori, with its shining bright Lightning clenching to Etch's hand, was summoned before him. For some reason, this jutsu felt like he was on training wheels. Whenever he used it, it was like he was restricted only to run towards one direction, or risk it disappearing and becoming a failure. No more to that, though he just recently was able to use the Chidori, Etch was already sick of its weaknesses. It would prove to be a menacing and even better Jutsu very soon. Etch was already positioned in front of a tree. In this separate training grounds, the trees were positioned to be like a forest, more and more behind it, in a wide circle. Etch made a target for the one in front of him, and to begin switching gears to the ones over beside him, and then the one after that. Soon however, Etch planned to see if he could completely shift gears, striking one, and turning around to get the other in a completely opposite direction, and then another in the other direction. But first things first, baby steps, Etch thought. Having his Chidori already prepared, he sorta felt like a super ninja with it. It was just such a cool A rank jutsu in his eyes, as he tore through the first tree with no hesitation, now came for the hard part. This super hero needed to rotate his feet and change direction. He had to break down the invisible tape that held him together in one direction. Etch began to try to move to another direction, and break down this fall. Etch felt like he was doing it actually, he was shifting his body, and moving to the side, almost being able to break it, but then sadly his Chidori turned off. Etch stopped moving after feeling the surge of power dissapear from his hand. Bullshit! Etch exclaimed. He was so close, it was ridiculous. This made Etch want to keep pushing forward and break this force down, so he prepared another Chidori. Tiring himself out more, but still wishing to accomplish this, Etch targeted new trees. The first tree was easy, but he only reached the second a quarter of the way before his Chidori went lights out. Etch found himself practicing his Chidori for hours on end, so much he began to see the sun set. It was such a difficult jutsu to master now that he thought about it. But still, Etch knew he came so far, he wasn't going to give up now. He was able to use a A rank jutsu, that much was true. Now all he needed was to be able to master it fully. He was sitting down, up against a tree as the sun was setting, breathing intensely. Thanks to his bloodline, Etch was able to hold out for awhile. But inevitably, he was all out of juice and needed rest. He practiced for the whole day, and actually managed to get to that second tree he was aiming for. But he wasn't able to test out the third, because his power was just too low at this point. Etch was exhausted and his muscles were crying out for rest. Unable to help himself up, Etch just laid there in hopes to rejuvenate some of his stamina so he could walk again home. During this time, Etch had so much to think about. Etch loved to think about the progress he has made from a little academy student. He was once weaker, much more weaker. And now he has just been getting stronger, and more of a force to be reckoned with. And plus his bloodline, from his mysterious heritage was there to help him out. He also thought about his proctor, Coco, the day he became a Genin. It was awhile since he saw her, and it sure as hell would be nice to see her again. Maybe he could get to her level, maybe even bigger. Etch always thought about being one of the Kazekage's helpers, him letting Etch into Suna after all with open arms. Etch also was feeling the need to say thank you to Gwynevere, who helped break his restraints in battle. Now he wasn't afraid to fight at all and was open to it, breaking the ice in a sense. He also hoped the woman was alright after her injury. As Etch spoke, he began to look down at how he was already beginning to make a Chidori in his right hand. Without hand signs either! Both his hands were far apart while he laid there, and the whole time he looked back and reflected he was thinking of the Chidori. Supposing it made sense, Etch accepted it and was also glad he got so far today. But Etch was just too beat from the long day that day to go any farther. After getting back his energy, Etch stood and walked home, slowly. No ninja were out after the sun set really, instead of a few hard workers like himself. Then again, he barely ever saw people up after midnight like he would be, training. Still, this grand adventure was going wonderful. He was doing great, and was going to have something to use in the future, his Chidori. Maybe the next day, Etch would be able to master the Chidori. He made it home, took a nice bath and had some dinner. Etch loved his house, it was quite spacious and clean, being a clean freak himself. It was also quite calm and peaceful, a good contrast to his everyday job now. He came a long way through these past few days and sorts. Etch got into bed and began to sleep, dreaming about him mastering the Chidori in his sleep.
Etch jumped out of bed with a start. He was lightly sweating, taking note of the humid temperature in his room. It seemed as if he accidentally left the window open the night before, and the window curtains closed. Etch was confused at the area around him. It was still his house and room for all. The thing is the lighting in there was not what he was expecting. Etch was expecting to be awoken by bright rays of light beaming down his curtains on to his face. For some reason, there were none. As Etch laid back in his bed and turned in his sleep, nothing seemed to happen at all. He wasn't being brought by that unexpected breeze of drowsiness at all. He looked back towards his blinds, seeming as the one gateway to the outside world. Dark. With a light that seemed to shine bright through the sky, it seemed like it was midnight once again. Etch was surprised to be awakened at night after his hard workout the day before. He had but no reasoning for the awakening, so tried to go back to sleep. He saw it as a good opportunity to go out and train at night again, but he still felt as if his body was drained. He needed more rest, but has to continue to train in order to master his Chidori. Etch continued to drift off into sleep, in and out. Finally, he found himself awakened by light, after falling back to sleep in and out throughout the night. Damn did he hate those kind of nights, where there were no dreams and you felt like you were in bed for hours doing nothing. At least it was over though and now he was free. Etch also felt extremely more rejuvenated compared to the night before, and became his day with a jump from his bed. He was still sorta achey, and felt kinda like, he was filled with electricity. Etch hoped there was no reason to worry about for this. Example being like he messed his body up some way because of all the training he did. Etch got up and began his daily activities. Breakfast, getting dressed, and fit to walk out his apartment doors. Etch living alone seemed to be odd sometimes, his age and living lifestyle not adding up. However, he assumed this to be the case since he had such a past, not knowing of his clan or parents. It made him feel incomplete sometime as, still Etch powered through it and made it throughout his days to what he strived for, to become stronger in every way.
As Etch made his way towards the training grounds, the grand adventure went on. He decided to take a detour towards the area, taking in the whole village at a different route. The different food stands throughout the village, the jobs people did in there everyday mornings, some opening up shop very soon just tidying up the place, it was such a peaceful athmospere. It was very soothing and recommended in his head, to just admire and observe before his training. As Etch passed by these occurrences, he also took note in what he was wearing that day. Black pants, sandals, and gray v neck t-shirt. He left his headband at home, portraying himself as the usual villager. It was annoying wearing it so often now, it just stuck to his forehead. Etch still felt happy and calm now, walking towards the training grounds. As Etch made his way up there, he took in the sight at hand. Several ninja, bright in the morning, taking part in there training sessions. Gosh did he love training, it was such a beautiful thing to look at. Every other ninja working hard with one another or by themselves, with aims to get stronger then where they were before. Same for Etch, he was trying to fully master his Chidori which he's been working on for awhile. It was about time actually to do so. For him, all he needed was to work alone, he was quite close to mastering. Etch decided not to find his newly discovered training grounds, he felt like it would be unneeded. Etch was in front of three log post while watching the other ninja around him, combating with one another. It actually made him begin to itch for a battle himself, but he refrained from doing it. It was time to train after all. His hands were in his pockets the entire time, however Etch began to slowly lift his right hand from his pocket. It was at the height of his shoulder, while his left hand was in his pocket. He already practiced before the jutsu with no hand seals, time to put it to action. Etch screeched out the newly replenished chakra he had inside of him, before focusing it onto his hands. He refrained from doing hand signs, and instead just called for the Chidori itself. Surprisingly, it appeared before him. It was first weak and flimsly, but he strengthened it to be at the power it was at before. Amazing, Etch thought. He actually managed to do it. The grand adventure was underway again, how awesome. Chidori in Hand, it was time to light up the training grounds. Such a beautiful jutsu, and power all the same. Etch was standing with his chidori in his right hand, and began to run towards the tree in front of him. It was just a warm up now. Crazy to think he was now making warm ups for his Justus, he felt like he's really come a long way. After taking out the first tree in a swift motion, Etch ran towards the one behind him, since the trees were in a circular position around him, about 3 meters out each. He was able to take down the second one with alright standards, though by then his movement became rigid. It was putting quite the strain on him, and Etch had to stop the jutsu after the second one. Damn, he was so close! He was two down, that was his limit. For now at least. Etch was breathing at a medium pace, just starting out he had a lot of chakra to give out, but still the chidori gave a strain on his body for doing so much. However, he also felt the potency of his chakra increasing for being worked out so much and for so long these past few days. Etch saw it as a time to begin his other workouts. He went through his usually drills, running and lifting. He also began to spice it up a bit, running while activating the Chidori while doing so. It brought amazement to him when he was able to do so. It seemed as if he didn't even know his own body anymore, like it was a new one he never had, and just came about. While doing the Chidori runs, he would make a mental track to follow in his head. Going through tree branches, jumping and soaring through the air like he was using the Dynamic Entry, all to control and have a better understanding of his jutsu. Etch also had the bright idea to try and lift the logs with his chidori hand for a reason. He saw it as a way to control his chakra to be destructive or not, but still it was futile. The amount of power made from the jutsu was overwhelming, and it couldn't manage to grab on to it for a sufficient time, without slowly deteriorating the log. Still, it was good practice. Etch knew after his practice with Salzem, he would get a chance to do some water Justus soon. His ninja career was going wonderfully, every little thing he's always wanted to do becoming a reality. Hell, maybe he will be able to go and help the Kazekage one day. But until then, he had a task to take care of. And that was completely mastering the Chidori. After a little bit more workouts and daily trainings, Etch saw it time to move on to the main event. Finishing off the perfected version of the Chidori. He was so close, Etch could see it now. The other Etch in his conscious would look before him in respect, knowing that he mastered the Chidori with flying colors. Etch decided to try the tree training again. He wanted to attempt to take out two trees at once at least, and go on with the usual workout. Etch got his bearings together, and focused himself to create the Chidori once again without any need of hand seals. The jutsu continued to actually decrease in the strain it put on his body, through his mastery of it and making it like second nature. It was such a long way of where he came. No longer struggling to make a Chidori, he now did it very easily. And it didn't take any longer to power up, it was already at enough power right at the point of making it. Once it was visible, Etch dashed towards the trees that were back to back simultaneously. It only took one strike, to end the two trees in a very miraculous way, exploding on impact. This was definitely a strong jutsu, and it's only been getting stronger ever since learning it. After the two were destroyed, He then looked beside him, and flipped backwards to destroy it while looking the other way of it, resulting in his hand to the back of him and causing devastation. After this happened, Etch dissapeared from sight, moving at incredible speed. He was seen then in the air, soaring through the air coming down on to his last tree, meters away from the second one. After this final maelstrom, Etch looked at his hand, still full of lightning blazing everywhere. " It held up for that long? Nice." With those words, he powered off the Chidori willingly. It seemed like he got stronger for sure, this was probably the first time he actually lasted so long he had the chance to turn off the Chidori, signaling its training to be over for the time. It felt like forever, but the time to master the Chidori was surely coming to a end, ever so quickly. Now was this the end of the Grand Adventure? Maybe, but it would never truly end. Not until he dies of course, or retires of old age. He felt even more happy then before, he was actually so close to mastering the Chidori, a jutsu he was struggling with days ago. He supposed that's what training could do for you. Get you to high places, the more you worked the better. Etch also decided to do a speed test, to see how quickly he could go with this Chidori. Etch wondered how he could get this done. He wanted to throw three different logs into the air, and smash them with his Chidori. This would also test his Precision too! Etch stood and began to walk towards the logs. He would use the leaf rising wind in order to take care of this issue, projecting them all into the air each. After lining up three different ones, he realized this can also test how nimble he was to cast off different jutsus quickly and easily. So Etch began, one two and three, kicking each log into the air with his Leaf Rising Wind. Each was about 8 meters into the air actually, quite some strong kicks he would say so himself. Etch then made his Chidori apparent, without the needs of any type of hand seals. Quickly before the three came down, he jumped into the air, and ascended upwards with the momentum that he already had. Etch made a quick strike with the first one he forced to go into the air. It dismembered itself quickly. Before he began to free fall and lose his momentum, Etch made a quick attempt towards the second one a few inches away, slashing it with considerable amount of force. Now was left was the last log. It was about a meter or two away, and Etch was beginning to fall down. While free falling, the Log began to do the same. He took this opportunity to use his weight to weigh himself down quicker towards the ground, striking the log and coming down hot. When he landed, a cloud of smoke and sand came after. He rose up with his chirping Chidori still in his right hand, and began to stare at it. While staring at it for awhile, he surveyed how it felt. It felt like it was apart of him and costed him considerably less chakra then before. It also seemed to take less snippets of his power. The jutsu was able to be made without any Hand signs, and he was able to move in all directions while using it. Well that does it, Etch presumed. He has mastered the Chidori. Learned and mastered, all within a week. Damn, that seemed impressive to him. Mainly just mastering a A rank jutsu at his rank. He was kinda tired after all the exercises to get so far in his Chidori training, but felt like he could go on. However, he had but no clue what jutsus he could work on. His only main focus this whole time was the Chidori, something he just fully mastered. Now there was nothing else to master or attempt to learn. He was done for the day, he deserved a nice and long rest. The Grand Adventure seemed to be done for the day as well. Though he knew full and well In his heart it could never end until his heart itself would stop beating. Etch couldn't help but feel glad about what he was able to accomplish. This would just make him stronger for the tournament, and a bigger force to deal with. Now all he could do was rest and figure out what else he would want to train. He thanked the meditating Etch who helped him out and told him this is what he needed to move on, and knew this marked his first ever Ninjutsu other then the ones he learned in the Academy. He walked home with pride, knowing full and well how good he has become compared to his days at the Academy. The Grand Adventure was at a halt now, though it would be resumed soon, along with a new jutsu to overtake.
