Lousy First Impressions (Kayla, P)

Mako was wandering around town, it had been so long since he had been home that many things had changed.  A new Hokage, he wondered if the new Kage was to be trusted.  Nonetheless, he was going to take it easy.  It had been 6 months since he had eaten Ichiraku's fully loaded ramen, and that, in his opinion, was way too fucking long.  He walked down the long winding street when out of nowhere from around the corner he heard giggles.  Giggles of a group of young girls.  Great, apparently his fan club had not disbanded in his absence.  As soon as Mako reached the corner he was affronted by a group of non shinobi village girls that jumped out and seemingly attacked him.  Except they did not attack him with weapons, he could have dealt with weapons, but instead affronted him with affection. This was most certainly not something Mako was accustomed to nor wanted to deal with today.  He just wanted ramen.  The girls surrounded him on all sides and held him in place while they each took turns tearing off clothing and touching his well muscled chest.  He could not resist, the numbers were too vast.

Once each and every girl had managed to scavenge his corpse of everything and their ravenous hunger was satisfied they wandered away chatting annoyingly about the prizes they had acquired.  The Mako Sarutobi fan club had grown, not shrunk. MAko would stand from where he was attacked no longer wearing his usual chuunin flak jacket and all that remained was a sliver of black v neck that he had underneath.  Along with that they made off with his headband that he wore tied around his leg and his sunglasses which frustrated him more than anything else because it was bright today.  He would tear off what remained of the shirt and toss it aside, he guessed it would be a good day to soak up some sun.

Mako reached into his pouch and produced a cigarette, spun it around in his fingers and placed it in his mouth, then with his other hand lit a match and would take a drag off of it, while letting out a sigh.  Mako now shirt less continued his mission, for some of that delicious ramen.  His muscles ere well maintained and a dark complexion to his skin, he didn't blame them, he just wasn't happy in this moment. 

As he rounded the corner he saw Ichiraku's ramen shop about 10 paces ahead, his stomach made a churning noise informing him that he needed to hurry or risk death.  Mako would speed up to make it to the food counter.  With the cigarette dangling out of his mouth he would say, "Alright, I need the fully loaded beef ramen." to the man behind the counter.  The man in the counter would turn around and see Mako not wearing a shirt and smoking a cigarette and seemed to just assume Mako was some street thug.
"Go down the road they sell instant ramen there, its a bit cheaper."  The counter guy would say in a condescending tone.
Mako would then toss a wad of ryo onto the counter landing with a fat thud.  "Just gimme, my ramen asshole. I'm a paying customer."  Mako would reply having dealt with enough today.

"Well, it would appear you are.  ONE FULLY LOADED BEEF!!!" The man would yell.  Mako would proceed to take a seat in a table outside the shop with an umbrella.  He would lean back in the chair until the food was ready.  He kinda hoped noone he knew saw him as he was trying to keep his return Low key.

Kayla lightly woke up in a fresh morning. It been a few day since she did her wooden clone and took a well deserved break from all that mass training she did in such a short amount of time. The young Senju beauty lightly stepped out of her bed and once more got ready to train another technique. She had her plan of learning this basic jutsu in the morning then go grab some ramen once she was done with it. It did sound like a good plan as she head to the training field to get this work going in. She lightly focus her head to the work and soon made a wooden clone with her. The tendril lightly moving from her back and lightly and a lots faster now making a copy if herself before she now look down to her book. She lightly bite her lips as she was trying to focus her though toward the technique. A few did seem interesting but it wasn't those that she wanted for now. She needed something easy and simple that could be some damage as needed. Nothing really defensive that could come later after all she wasn't close to be a Chuunin yet.

She found one about making rock pillar coming from the ground as spike. That did sound quite interesting making her caress her chin. She look up at her clone as it nod to Kayla. As she read the book the clone Kayly as she would call her would start to make the handseals and smash her hands down on the ground making Kayla shake her head lightly.
“No no..I you have to focus your chakra at a specific point..If you d..” She squeak loudly as a massive pillar come from the ground and impale her clone making it scream in pain in disappear. This would drop chill down Kayla spine before she couldn't help herself to burst into laugh.
“Well! I good thing I made my clone train it and not I!” She chuckle once more before she lightly cross her hands making another two clone of her as they took shape next to her. Kayly and Kaykay would nod to each other before moving away from her owner and lightly started to work on their jutsu on each of their side this time making sure not to create the pillar under themselves. She lightly caress her chin as she wonder to herself. Hmmm so they were able to create one pillar..Not in the best way but still one so at least there is that.. She lightly stand on her side as she look at them moving their hands.
Kayly lightly focusing it in front of her making a single pillar before frowning and smashing her foot on the dirt as it wasn't enough for her need and lightly kept going over and over only making a single pillar. Kayla lightly caress her chin looking at them as she though she might not be focusing her chacra right. Kaykay on her side would start after Kayly using what she learn from her to get her own chakra flowing in a different way and split it to try at making more pillar at a short distance of the other. As she expected it did work making another pillar growing not too far from the first one she made. Kaykay jumped and cheered and pointed Kayly with her finger laughing until Kayly did the same. Kayly would roll her eyes and look at Kaykay. “Ughh we are connected you blond..I can see and feel what you are doing...”
Kayla chuckle on her side and wave at them. “Ohh alright don't fight over this girl! It's fine just keep our focus going alright?” She smile at them as they frown but nod going back to work. Both of them looking at each other frowning as they went to practice once more. After quite a moment this time it would be Kayly to make an advance as she got able to split her chakra in three part making three different pillar to appear not too far from each other but a bigger distance that Kaykay one previously. The two clone keeping a good competition going between each other as they made more and more progress at a slow but still good pace. During this time, Kayla would lightly yawn and walk to her own side. From what the other clone though she would have had issue to get her chakra fully focused with the earth again. Though a good thing they did that part for her and also most of the work to get the first pillar out of the ground. She lightly made the handseals as she focus her own chakra to the mix to gather her own information about how to make this jutsu work. As she expected it wasn't as easy she though requiring a bite more focus. As much her clone did taught her it was still her big head to try by herself making a few little mistake to get her own feel as she wasn't still really used to her clone working at her side.
Kayla lightly made the first pillar erupt from the ground and work on the second as it erupt a meter away from the first one. She though she could use that to try to hit in front of a target to make it stop or just use it to impale someone from under. In both case it could prove quite strong and surprising to be hit from under. She lightly get her though back focused on her jutsu as she kept getting information from the progress of her clone on the other side of the arena. Look like they got mad at each other to a point to get away of each other she though to herself. Though at the very least they kept working on their technique to a point one of them got to make four pillar. Kayla quickly tried it on her side as she was getting to understand more and more of the logic behind the whole action. Getting one wasn't really harder than two if you got to be used to it. Though at four it did got a little draining on the side though still not impossible. She could try to see what was the limit of this technique as she focus her hands making the required movement as she focus her way in front of her. Quickly the first pillar would erupt smashing the ground shattering the rock over it as the second did the same until four got out of the ground making a shattering loud sound. Those technique weren't really good to hid for sure. Soon after the fourth one break out a fifth one made it's way out and was soon to be joined by a sixth. Though nothing more would want to come out. Look like it was the maximum she could drain for this technique! Quite boring though as she would at least love a big number as it did look and sound way better. Maybe she could create one later that would make a hundred pillar like that to erupt all around her! She smile widely and nod.

Now this first part done about this technique, she lightly went to some other part. Her pillar were quite sharp but what if she wanted to use them in a defensive way or maybe a way to lift her up as a defense. If someone was running toward her she could mix pillar in trying to hit them and use the last one to lift her up and high enough for her to use as a propulsion and maybe create another jutsu mid air? She not to herself that was a good idea! She would focus her mind telling her clone to get back to her to work on his new tactic. They all nod as they already knew her plan and started to train on this new way. She wanted a pillar with a head flat enough to be able to stand with both feet again each other and high enough to use as a propulsion way or at least take a close range hit while she was up. Her clone wouldn't seem to struggle much as KayKay would rise herself up in the air with a pillar the heigh of an average man. Everything Kayla needed! Kayly quickly did the same though her pillar rising even faster . Though they were still quite slow compare to what she would expect but it was better than nothing for sure. Kayla would use it at her turn rising her over the ground and lightly make her focus to create five other exactly like that in front of her of which she would use to jump to. Could be useful in water again a lightning user she though to herself. He couldn't just use it on water to harm her though it would most likely break the pillar. She then could use wood to carry her if she was to make something like that. She caress her chin lightly and nod before she sat on one of her pillar and caress her chin. What else could she use those pillar for... She knew it was good to kill as it did kill her clone in a quite traumatic way. She shiver once more at this though before she caress her chin and frown. “Argg...What can I use it for! It's annoying!” She frown and put some more though toward it. She could maybe it like a barrier or some sort?

She though to herself with her clone she could create eighteen of those pillar. She look over at her clone as they all nod and lightly look forward and made their handseal. This time as they worked together ,thanks to their link, a wall would rise in front of them in three thickness level of pillar. This would be quite hard to pierce for sure! Though it did cost more energy to her to do such thing than just create a better wall but this one was faster and could most likely be done with only one hand when she got to learn how to do seal like that. It did same like something she could use to get her faster at it. She move to the side to look over at it proudly though she could make the top sharp and not flat in case the opponent tried to use it to push himself in a high ground and use the wall again her to get her stuck. She caress her chin as she nod about this little fact she would have to remember. Though if she did made it sharp fire and water technique would get through it and not around it. She sigh lightly as she would have to do it in different moment to use it at it's best. She then move away and though about everything she just learned before turning to make her way off and let the pillar shatter on the ground. As she went to quit the field she blink thinking at one last thing she could do before leaving. She look at her clone and share her though about using the pillar together to get someone trap in it. She lightly look at Kayly who step on the side while Kayla moved her hands and quickly made the Bird and touched the ground. The pillar would erupt around Kayly traping her into a really a really tight cage. She could barely move an arm as the pillar forced her arm again her side. If Kayla wasn't that tiny it would of most likely hurt her clone in a really bad way. She could most likely do with with both her clone to trap an animal if she ever needed too in a genin mission! Another use for this jutsu she though to herself.

Once she was done with all of this crazy work, the young Senju beauty would head toward her apartment to wash herself and take care of her hair. She would use her clone to comb her hair as she dried herself up. She could feel her stomach making weird noise. Ugh it was true she didn't eat for quite a time and she was in dire need for a good ramen from Ichiraku Noodle bar. Quite the best one in town she heard! She was used to those terrible instant ramen but this time it was time for a good hot one! She remembered the last time she came here she was with her father a really long time ago now. She sigh lightly remembering those memory of him as she made her way to it. She could hear a crowd of girl going crazy not to far from the way she was coming in. It did caught her curiosity as she send one of her wooden clone toward the location and discover to her surprise someone that seem to be a true star around town. She tilt her head as she didn't seem to know him but it was right that he wasn't bad looking. If he was a girl, he would be a little less beautiful then her she though to herself before the clone let itself explode in smoke. Her second clone would do the same as Kayla arrived to the shop. The man was already there as she did took a longer part to roam around and take a few things from the Ninja shop. She knew her mission was suppose to happen soon and she was to meet her sensei. Though that aside, she look at the man sitting outside of the shop. She shiver lightly as she see him take a breath of his cigarette making her shiver lightly. Ughhh well look like he lost beauty point even with that ripped chest. She though to herself as she enter the building and lightly sit at the main bar looking at them cooking the ramen.
“Uhhh Hi! I would like a big ramen! I'm really hungry made quite some work in the last day!” She chuckle lightly as the cook turn to her and again scream for a full beef ramen as he called. The young blond would lightly rest again the bar waiting and thinking about who was that man. So much that as the food was made she lightly step on the side and created a wooden clone that she sent outside to study him from the corner of it's eyes. She was hoping he wouldn't notice it or even care as all she wanted was to understand why he was so popular around town.

Mako would remain leaning back in the chair when the cook told him his order was finished, Mako would stand up and move over to the large wooden bar with round chairs meant to be sat at while you ate.  It was then Mako saw a girl at the bar, she was his age, though he had never seen her before.  Mako was a ladies' man, this was true, though he had never met a fellow leaf shinobi who intrigued him this much.  Before meeting her, Mako did not care in the least he was shirtless, though now he felt rather subconscious.  This was strange. 
 
Mako would take another sigh, breathing out the ashy smoke, making sure not to blow it in anyone's direction.  After sitting back down outside, he just ate the ramen.  He didn't pay attention to much else besides how delicious the food was, he was absolutely tired of bananas and anything banana related after spending nearly 6 months in the land of Monkeys.  After finishing the beef and noodles he quickly tipped the bowl up and finished the broth.  Afterwards he would let out a large AHHHH.  He would again place a cigarette in his mouth and light it, he would produce a book from his pouch, reading "Shadow Shuriken Jutsu", with his legs up on the table with an umbrella on it.  He would casually thumb through it smoking while he read.  Every once in a while he would glance around taking in his environment, he would notice the clone casually peeping at him, he would smile.  Mako would wait until she finished her ramen not wanting to be a bother.  
 
After she finished Mako would call to her "You could come sit and chat if you'd like, I don't bite."
 
Mako didn't know if he was being watched by any of the higher ups, having been missing for a while.  Having never met her he could only assume black ops. Though her mastery with the wood clones impressed him.  Mako had to know about her.  Of course if she didn't accept the offer he would understand, strange black haired swordsman without a shirt, yea very welcoming.  Though some casual conversation would be nice nonetheless.

Her clone lightly moving around to keep an eye on the man. She could only think to herself how terrible she was at staying under cover as she just realize that he could clearly see her at the bar and her clone wandering around. She chuckle to herself and shake her head. If she would at least used her clone to fusion in a tree not too far or something like that. No instead she used it to walk around casually. She was blond for a reason after all she though to herself as she lightly finished her bowl. It was too late for her to care about her clone anyway. The clone just rested again the wall not to far away from her while she finished her bowl. Once done she lightly stretch herself and yawn lightly before hearing the voice of the man behind her calling her out. 


"You could come sit and chat if you'd like, I don't bite." . She blink as her clone was fully aware he was calling out for Kayla meaning Kayla instantly knew he was looking at her. She lightly put her stick asside. Did he look at her while she was eating to know when she was done? She could only started to think like crazy before she look over her shoulder at the man. He would know she was blushing as her clone was turning red too.

"I uh..Uhhh.." She would remain wordless for a moment as she lightly caress her hair unsure what she should do at this point. She could only shrug it off and gather her own strengh. How could it be worse than any other man she talked with before right? She did kiss another ninja on the cheek on the field only to put a seed in his pocket. That made her chuckle lightly and the shyness of her face and lightly stand up. She made her way toward his table as her clone lightly made it's way out. Of course as people that knew Kayla they would know it was going to grab some cookie to eat but how could Mako know that part. She smile at the man as she lightly pull on a chair next to him instead of one the opposing side and carefully sit. She flash her wide smile at him as she lightly caress her long blond hair. Her eyes looking him up and down casually as she chuckle.

"Nice shirt you got there! I saw..Well..My clone saw you had got attack by a wild fangirl group!" She chuckle to herself lightly and kept her smile. "Are you somekind of super ninja or something to have a group like that or you just have a group of girl jumping at you because of that face you got?" She wink playfully. That was the Kayla she was used to be. Good thing she didn't stayed with that dump shy look she had when he called her out she though to herself.

Mako could hear suprisingly well, even without looking at the girl eating.  So when the clone was being shifty it was the only sign he needed.  So he would wrap up reading the book and slip it away, it wouldn't much matter if he continued reading it, he had gotten all he wanted out of it, now he just needed some combat practice.  The shadow Shuriken tech was a perfect technique for a weaponry user like himself, allowing him to utilize weaponry and ninjutsu with the same technique. It was quite useful to him,  Mako had been thinking about while reading how he might be able to fix a practice session in today.  Though when the girl finally moved over to his position he could no longer think of those things.  He couldn't help but look her up and down, it was a natural reaction, and he also momentarily forgot he no longer had his signature sunglasses, and the moment he remembered he would make eye contact no matter what.  The last thing he wanted to do was look like a pervert.  Though he found his eyes drifting from their orientation, he always made sure he didn't get caught, at least he hoped he didn't.
 
Mako was surprisingly attracted to her, unlike all of the other kunoichi he had met who would not spark his interest in the least.  Of course Mako was far too smooth, he wouldn't show it of course.  Always preferring to wear the face of a ninja.   That clone also intrigued him, it wasn't a shadow clones, because Mako was well versed in the usage of shadow clones.  It was something else.  Water clones tend to appear liquidous in nature, and lightning clones had a very static air about them, even a solid earth cloned would have moved a bit more clunkily.  This clone seemed to be perfectly fluid and in motion with her actions, it made him wonder, maybe he would learn when he discovered more about her.
 
"Nice shirt you got there," she would say to him as she sat down.  Mako would blush, and then for a moment become infuriated at himself for actually blushing like that.  Not a very manly thing to do, and as he prided himself on being the role model of manliness he was moderately upset.  Though he would flex his muscles in response to her statement as if to shrug off his embarrassment.  Then she would ask him about the shinobi fan club.  He hated that club, a group of girls from the village who were not ninja who followed around whichever ninja they deemed the hottest that week, though there was another they focused on more, they still would not leave him alone.  Kouse Uchiha, he seemed to adore the attention while Mako despised it.   He preferred to focus on dreams worth having, like living up to his family legacy and becoming one of the most reputable Hokage's in the history of Konoha, and to do that Mako needed to become the best.
 
"Hmph, you could say that.  I like the ring of Mako Sarutobi the Super Ninja.  Fitting I think, though no those are just groups of non kunoichi villagers who have nothing better to do with their time than crush on actual working ninja and steal their property.  So yes you could say its because of my face."  Mako would show a sly flirtatious smile while speaking to the girl.
 
 
"So I have told you my name, any way I could get yours or am I just going to have to remember you by your pretty face."  Mako would say making a joke of her previous statement as best he could.  He would then take another drag from his cigarette and blow out a cloud of smoke in the opposite direction of Kayla.

She smile to herself as in all honestly she couldn't miss those eyes looking her up and down. It was quite obvious but it didn't really bother her. After all she wasn't better and she didn't miss her chance to look him up when she could. Though his compliment about her shirt did made her blush lightly as she only though about what it looked like. A quite open top with pretty much only a see through net covering her. She chuckle to herself though not openly as she didn't really want to show her laughing about herself. Though with all of this talk, she got it quite clear that he was also a Shinobi like her. One that actually had a fan club about him. Well not him but he was the winning one of the week from what she understood. Her eyes looking at his visage as her speak and she nod to herself. He did deserve the mention that was for sure. Though the fact that he look like he wasn't liking the attention got her awfully happy. Not a feeling she was expecting to feel from such a information. She shrug it off and focus back on the man.


She smile lightly. Pretty face was a name she could go around with. She didn't mind having him calling this way that was for sure. This though made her smile slightly at him. The corner of her lips curving lightly in a teasing way as she lightly open her mouth with her tongue flicking lightly.
“Well..I wouldn't mind you calling me that in all honestly.. “ She give him a playful wink before she lightly lean again the table. Her hand lightly brushing her hair as her elbow was used to give him a pose and also stability of course. She flash him a wide smile before speaking again.
“Though I won't play cat and mouse with you all day... I'm Kayla Senju.” She said it. She didn't mind to say the famous DNA word of Senju. She didn't care much as it was clear in her mind that soon everyone would know it and be afraid of it. At least that was her dream. She look carefully at him as he blow the smoke away from her visage. She wanted to see his exact reaction to this reveal and that would mainly tell her about the man in front of her.

Mako was mid smoke blowing when hearing the girl respond with her name, Kayla Senju.  Cute name for a cute girl he thought to himself.  Mako thought how he was sort of enjoying the game of cat and mouse, though gathering information was something he excelled at, so finding out as much as he could would be his primary concern in most cases.
 
He would very quickly slip a kunai out underneath of the table, being quite stealthy and would flip it up and launch it at the clone at a speed of 140 aiming directly beside the clones head into the .  As he had met many Senju in his life he knew that wood clones would remain a wooden construct after being extinguished.  He always envied the senju clan for having exclusive access to such powerful clone techniques.  The kunai would thud into a wooden beam right next to the clone.
 
"Ah, Senju, huh.  That means a wood clone,"  Mako would say.  He had noticed she was watching him for his reaction to being told her name.  Mako would think nothing of it beyond putting a name to a face, he had worked with several Senju before and found them to be useful allies in battle since they were highly capable of controlling the battlefield. "I was wondering what kind of clone that was, it was perfectly made, it is quite impressive. "  Complimenting her on her clone knowing that more than being called pretty, kunoichi enjoyed being recognized for their skill as well.
 
"So Kayla, besides the excellent ramen and beautiful scenery," he pointed at his shirtless body, "What brings you to the streets today cutie?"  Mako would ask with that flirtatious grin on his face still.  He had a large genuine smile and was quite drawn into the conversation at hand.  He considered creating a clone to go talk to the wood clone but decided not to as the clone seemed quite intent on doing it own thing.
 
"because I was wondering if you weren't too busy you may want to go get a smoothie from the nearby smoothie shop, my treat,"  Mako would look her deep in the eyes when asking her out, he was confident and not shy though it came out a little shakily given his current infatuation.

Mako would smile as the Senju accepted his request to go out.  Sure, Mako was slightly smitten by the adorable girl before him but he also had other plans in mind.  Mako had not forgotten the Jounin exams were quickly approaching and he did not have a clue what he might face.  If he did happen to come across a Senju in the tournament he wanted to see their power first hand.  Mako would chuckle when he thought to himself "Hell if I get a kiss out of it, it would be a major success."
 
Mako would stand and smile while the girl swept past him and jested about Mako walking along behind him.  Mako could not hold back his laughter, of course she meant it in the best way possible, and he truly didn't hate the idea, but after having been called out on it there was no way he would get away with it now.
 
Mako would walk over to one of the random vendors on the side of the street and would grab a new shirt and sunglasses.  He got lucky having found a pair of aviators much like his last pair, though much less lucky on the shirt.  The only one available was a bright orange t shirt that had a picture of a fox on it, certainly not the manliest option but he was worried that if he continued to walk around shirtless he might get denied business. 
 
Mako also hadn't failed to notice the clone's argument and the subject matter it entailed though he chose to ignore it and not address it.  So instead while browsing through the shop he would find a gift for the cute kunoichi.  What kind of gift would work for a lady ninja though?  He would grab a pink ribbon and a flower pendant and purchase it along with his shirt and glasses.  Then while she had her back turned he would take the kunai he threw into the wall, after he retrieved it, and remove the cloth on the handle replacing it with the pink ribbon, perfectly wrapping it around then using the tails to hold the flower pendant tied to the loop in the bottom of the kunai.  He would laugh a bit and think, "Very pretty Mako".
 
He walked over to the counter and paid for the stuff, 50 ryo? What a shyster.  Nonetheless, it wasn't to steep of a price to pay.  After the purchase he would put the shirt on which seemed about a size to small on him, and would slip the sunglasses on his face, now he felt better.
 
He stayed fairly silent for the most part up to this point, choosing not to delve too deeply into the clone's argument and only answering Kayla's previous question with short laughs and nods.  That was until he handed her the kunai.  Mako would walk up to her wherever she was at, judging by her personality she was casually browsing the wares in the shop,  and would say, "I got you something."  Coming off very casually, though seeming slightly shy,  he would hold up the kunai in his hand and showing it to her.  "The sign over there said that the flower pendant will bring good luck, here take it."
