Early Morning Exhibition (Private, Mitako, NK)
Tue Mar 22, 2016 5:09 am
Another early morning in Kirigakure meant only one thing for Jacques. It was going to be another long day of some intense training. He often dreaded waking up early however getting out and working out and practicing his skills made it all worth it. Jacques woke up from his bed in his parent's home and instantly pushed the covers from on top of his body and rotated his body out of the bed. He slammed his feet onto the ground and jumped into the air stretching his arms up exhaling a loud yawn. "Let's get things started."
He instantly removed the clothes he had slept in and quickly put on his usual training gear. A tee shirt with the words "Iron" across it and some mesh shorts that stopped right at his knees. He had some soft sandals he placed on his feet as well as well as his headband. He tightened it the tightest it could go across his forehead as he started to roll his shoulders to stretch them.
Most of his family was asleep so he didn't bother telling them where he was going, they probably already knew since it was a routine thing for him anyway. He grabbed an apple from the counter before he departed for a little bit of sustenance for the training that was awaiting him.
As soon as he stepped foot outside of the home, he instantly increased his speed and began accelerating forward towards the gates of the village, aiming to get to his usual training destination, a small patch right outside.
Once he made it outside, he instantly stopped his running and stood up straight and began stretching by placing one arm up and reaching down for the middle of his back while using the other to reach for it. Stretching, a highly important practice before physical training. The excitement of his training plan made him want to skip but he knew the risks of doing that, and avoided it.

Oh how the islands of Kirigakure were... Familiar. That was the nice way to put it at least, as Mitako had been there far longer than he cared to be there. This place was his birthplace, when it was known as Shimagakure, and now if this track of boredom were to continue, these few scattered and forsaken spots of land scattered about the ocean would be his final resting place. Actually... A burial at sea wouldn't really be all that bad. It'd be better than rotting in the ground, he thought so anyway. Nonetheless, being a ninja didn't always guarantee a funeral or proper burial. More often than not the body of the deceased was harvested like a treasure, for whatever knowledge or power that it happened to hold.
It was during another long period of boredom and down time that Mitako’s raven hair had managed grow to be down to his shoulders once more, with the occasional sea breeze lifting his scraggly locks. Standing at the edge of the pier, he stood in nothing but a pair of grey shorts, his body still toned despite the relative inactivity. His eyes, which had turned golden over time under the bijuu’s influence on his chakra, scanned the waters afore him, watching the activity that took place within them.
And boy oh boy were these fish biting this morning or what? Mitako didn't know the answer to that one either. He was the fisherman who fished without a string, for he had a cheaper trick up his sleeve. Gently twirling one of his three senbon between his fingers, he coated the object in a layer of lightning chakra, the glow emitting a series of cackles and light that was bright enough to give the area around him a dimmed appearance. Pulling back his arm, he flung it forward with a precise swing into the abyss, allowing the electrified senbon to disappear into the ocean.
The shock spread throughout the water, and after a few seconds, his future breakfast, lunch, and most likely dinner, aside from what he wouldn’t eat, which would likely be income, would rise belly-up to the surface.
Now how does a jinchuriki who can’t swim retrieve said dead fish? Another cheap trick, the surface walking technique. Hopping off of the dock, he fell about ten feet at the most. A split second before he hit the surface, he activated the technique, using his chakra to stick to the top of the water. He then went around and gathered up all, or at least most, of the fish he could manage to fit on his rope (by sticking a needle through the mouth of the fish), before tying it around his waist.
~smol scene transition~
Bare chested, he strode back to the village gates, the few dozen dead fish flopping against his shorts and legs as he did so. It was then that he noticed another individual stretching outside in the early morning air. Were they real? Naaaaah. Probably not anyway, this bijuu stuff and lack of sleep probably had him hallucinating. Again.
Just incase it was a real person, however, he gave them a slight wave as he approached the gates. Unless stopped or addressed directly, he wouldn’t give them any more of his attention.
And if that individual was real, they’d most likely notice the bags under his eyes, accompanied by that wild golden stare that he couldn’t quite control.

I apologize for taking so long, it shouldn't happen again.]

Jacques noticed an individual in the area. He scanned the person up and down and silently began to assess them. "I usually wake up early to get out here by myself, but it looks like someone beat me to the punch." He mumbled under his breath as he began to approach the individual. He figured it was just some regular person that likes to wake up early for the sake of it.
As he watched the person wave, Jacques replied with a wave himself and a small smirk. He appreciated friendly interactions and instantly had a pleasant feeling about the person. Friendly interactions balanced out the danger of his job and he appreciated a nice greeting every once in a while.
He saw the person had a ton of fish, and assumed the person must of been some civilian shop owner that sold fish out of a store or something. "Nice morning for you to get some fishing in I see?" He asked out loud, trying to start up a short conversation with the fisherman as he stopped in front of them and looked them in the eye noticing some more features.
He noticed the bags under the eyes and smirked. "You ought of go in and get some sleep good sir. You look quite tired." He said with a smile as he extended his fist out for some type of dap or handshake.

Hmm. Mitako still wasn't sure if this individual was real or just another figment of his imagination... For now, he'd assume it was real. That didn't mean he would want to interact however, so he pressed on, his stride unbroken, as he neared the boy. It wasn't until he was questioned about the fish that he stopped, only to say "I couldn't say if it was a nice morning for fishing or not. They weren't really biting as far as I know." His tone? Deadpan. His expression? Nonexistent, aside the eyes expressing a sort of irrational state of alert.
The truly laughable part of the boy’s dialogue was the suggestion that he needed sleep. Sleep? For Mitako? Nonsense. There were more important matters at hand, sort of. Not really. But sleep wasn't on his schedule for another... Four hours? At the least anyway.
"No." Was all he said. Blunt, and to the point, he felt no need to explain why he would refuse the stranger's suggestion. At this point, the conversation would slip into an awkward silence if the genin in front of him had nothing more to say. Not that Mitako knew he was a genin or anything like that, how could he? Aside from uh...
Oh wait, no. He could most definitely tell. That headband was the key piece that communicated his rank. He cocked an eyebrow, "What brings you out here?" His inquiry was mostly innocent, but if the answer seemed in anyway shape or form to be fishy... Well.

After about a solid thirty or so second of not receiving an answer. Mitako would snap his fingers in front of the male's eyes. Afterwards, if he received no further response, he would walk away from the AFK kid and back into the village.
