Message From the Desert

Kyson had made their appointment to speak with Hokage. If Royalty followed, they would be waiting inside until they got the go ahead to go upstairs. The people around here kept looking at Kyson but it wasn't really hate stare. More like a curious type stare. But Kyson didn't let it intimidate him. This mission was to prove one of their ninjas to be innocent. One of the guards looked towards Kyson and gave them the signal to go upstairs a meet with the Hokage upstairs. Kyson nodded and began to walk up stairs. The Guards would follow them just to make sure they don't do anything suspicious or harmful. Royalty should be near Kyson if he were to follow.

As he was lead to the Hokage's door. He gave Kyson the go ahead to open it and deliver his message. Kyson would look at Royalty if he was near him and nod to him. Just a sign to show him that "this is it." As Kyson slowly opened the door, if Lord Hokage was inside, Kyson would enter the room and get down on one knee just to show respect to the leader of an allied village. If Royalty followed, he would also be in the Hokage's office and not far from him.

"Lord Hokage, my name is Kyson Hozuki and this is Royalty Yuka. We have a message for you from Lord Kazekage himself." Kyson said he gets on one knee and bows head to show the utmost respect. After Kyson spoke, he expects Royalty to have his message ready and the letter ready.

The appointment had began to be made as the paperwork in Royalty's hand were inspected thoroughly by guards and receptionist. The wait was not too long. As the two waited, a bunch of people were staring at them. They were most likely unfamiliar with their attire.They dressed is very light clothing because the terrain they lived in was the desert. The stares did nothing to Royalty, he minded his business. 

It was then that a guard signaled for them to go up. This was the moment of truth. It was finally time to go upstairs. As they did, Royalty looked over at Kyson. Kyson could tell he was nervous with a look. It was nothing however. After he saw Kyson's gesture, he followed him into the room and knelt down with him. Kyson spoke for the both of them so there was no reason for Royalty to say anything at this point. He just raised the letter up with his right hand as he was kneeling down.

Stamp.

Drink.

Grab.

Such was his routine, however; today Kurisu had finally gotten to the end of the last stack of papers. He'd drank quite a few bottles but the job was nearly done, although there was no guarantee that he'd even done that correctly. Despite catching up on paperwork he still had other issues to deal with from time to time and today there was a rather important sounding issues as two Sunagakure no Sato shinobi entered his office.

At first he was surprised at the level of the respect they showed him, on par with that of his ANBU no less, and also wondered to himself if Koroshi regularly tortured his ninja into being like ANBU. He glanced at the letter but decided that after looking at papers for hours at a time for days he didn't really care for reading it. "Alright alright, at ease kids. You can take a seat, we have the best chairs of all the villages, we are Konohagakure no Sato though, also a special drink we have only here. So, I can see you've come to visit the greatest place on earth to deliver a message so ff you don't mind, what's the letter say." at this point he was leaned back in his chair, having also motioned to two chairs in front of his desk that Kyson and Royalty were welcome to sit in. These chairs would probably seemed like the most comfortable chairs in the worlds, after all everything in Konohagakure no Sato was an upgrade over anything that any other village had, well except sand, Suna definitely had the advantage in sand. In there he also had set down two glasses of Jack Daniels for the Suna nin to try, after all it would be rude to decline the gifts of a host.

The Hokage let the two chunin take a seat. It was probably a little too much to get on one knee. But this only the second Kage Kyson has ever met. It should've been his third, but luckily he never met the Raikage when he lived in Kumo. He probably would have been corrupted just like him. Kyson heard the words the Hokage spoke. It seemed this village must have a lot more than Suna the way he was speaking. But Kyson couldn't tell if he was just showing off or if its true. But no matter if it was true, Kyson didn't believe until he explores this village himself. Kyson gets up from one knee and walks over towards the chair on the right. Kyson saw some type of drink in front of him. Kyson assumed it had alcohol in it. He doesn't really drink but this would be a special occasion and a moment of showing respect as a visitor.

"Ha, well we'll see that for ourselves while we're here. I see you make sure your village is always looking nice and in tip top shape." Kyson says with a smirk as he picks up the drink and takes a few sips. It wasn't as bad as he thought, it has an odd kick to it that catches Kyson's taste. Kyson was ready to explain the gist of the letter.

"But the letter has to deal with one of your shinobi that goes by the name of Salzem. It seems he came to Sunagakure after he left your village and then met with Lord Kazekage. Our lord claims him to be innocent and asks to please release him from all charges." Kyson said to the Hokage. Kyson expects Royalty to pick up after him since he has most of the details. Kyson would then take another few sips from the drink, but not too much.

After showing an immense amount of respect, the Hokage had told the two that they were free to sit down in the two chairs in front of his deck. Royalty got up and moved to the chair. The talk that the Hokage had given about his chairs seemed to be a little exaggerated, just a little. The only thing that could make the chairs live up to his boasts, were if the chairs could fly. Now those would be some magnificent chairs.

Around the same time Kyson had laughed, Royalty did too. He felt that either the Hokage was just really humorous or he was just very cocky. It didn't matter, he still got a kick out of it. 

Unlike other times, when asked, Kyson actually spoke this time. It seemed the Hokage wanted to here it from their mouths. Kyson had said most of the important things. Royalty picked up where he left off. 

"Yes. See, Salzem had been searching for the killer of one of his friends. After he had been imprisoned, a Suna nin had summoned him back to Suna with a mark seal placed onto him. It seemed that our Lord almost went to the depths of killing him.... Which is odd because he is strongly against killing."

Royalty's voice was sincere. That was just about everything that had been in the letter. Of course if the Hokage wanted to see for himself, Royalty had placed the letter onto the Hokage's desk. He now awaited a response.

He listened to them give an explanation on the letter's contents, something which he'd read for himself here later. It was an interesting situation, another Kage pardoning the missing nin of a different village. He did in fact trust Koroshi but there was still the fact that it was Konoha's issue to handle, he'd need to speak with some of his advisers in order to determine what actions to take.

"Alright, inform Koroshi that I'll send notice of my decision soon. I have to take some time to discuss and think about this but his intentions are well recieved." even if he was going to end up not accepting the pardon it was still appreciated that Koroshi took the time to deal with the situation and bring it to Konoha's attention. "You're free to go." he'd let them know the meeting was over for now.

Kyson listened to Royalty as he was explaining the letter in more detail to Lord Hokage. Kyson didn't know Lord Kazekage almost killed this guy. Lke Royalty said, he was against killing. So it had to be more to it. After Royalty spoke, Lord Hokage replied. He said he will make his decision later but it still wasn't a definite that Salzem was getting free from his charges. Kyson doesn't know if this guy is really innocent or not. If he isn't, then he should accept his charges. If he is, then he should be free. But that choice wasn't up to Kyson. 

"Will do, Lord Hokage." Kyson said as he got up from his chair and was getting ready to leave his office. It was nice to meet another leader of a village in person.

"Also, thanks for the drinks. It had a nice kick to it." Kyson said as he began to exit his office. If Royalty were to follow. Kyson would hold the door for him and follow him out the door.

As Kurisu gave his reply to them, it seemed he wasn't too adamant about the situation involving Salzem. It was nice that multiple people would get a say in it though. This would make it more fair to have people vote and not leave the decision in one person's hand, Hokage or not. The mission wasn't a total success, but it wasn't a failure as well.

Taking one sip of the drink, Royalty execrated the taste. He tried not to show it. When he put the glass down onto the desk, they were now being dismissed. After Kyson spoke, Royalty bowed slightly after getting up. He had one more message to relay before their departure. 


"Our Kazekage said something about providing Jack Daniel's or tiger blend for your assistance. I'm not too keen on the meaning but I'll leave it to you."

After giving one last bow, Royalty turned around an walked out of the room.
