A simple meeting

Word around the village had been that someone or some people had been looking for Stein, who had unfortunately been dead for a long while. The young male knew of this and yet he sat in his living room staring down at the scroll that had the males body sealed within it. To the right of the scroll sat two separate jars of eyes, both of which he found on the male, and other various bodies that were treated as the same manner. Because of this he thought of going to see the Hokage about this, though during the time that Jason had died and his death had became known to him...the male had begun to question many things. Not a stranger to loss, each one hit Hideyoshi harder and harder until he wondered how long he would have to suffer.

Standing up he grabbed the three scrolls and the jars, sealing them within his armor and walked out of his home to his destination. The Hokage Building. With haste he pushed through the crowds of people silent in his wake until he had arrived to the building some moments later and stared at it with a sigh," Something the matter?" from his depths of his mind he could hear the voice speaking to him. A shrug was the only thing that he could muster for a moment. Yellow eyes peered at the door before walking in, the slight sun that did catch his head band leering off before becoming dull," Excuse me I am here to see the Hokage," simply spoken to the secretary he would escort himself to the office knowing the way from being here multiple times. Looking at the door he would notice the holes within the wall, quirking a brow before peering through one and looking around," Hello?"

Things in the village seemed to be working out better everyday, problems that had been plaguing Konohagakure no Sato were being dealt with. Of course there was still a lot to contend with such as missing ninja or their own misbehaving. One such problem he'd been looking into was centered around some Uchiha who had their eyes taken. 'To think there's free Sharingan out there.' he knew that it was dangerous enough to having bloodlines stolen but for someone to have stolen from the Uchiha clan that was far worse, especially if a missing nin is in possession of the powerful bloodline. He could only hope that problem wouldn't end up becoming a serious crisis for Konoha to deal with. 

Having been lost in his thoughts he was brought back to reality when Hideyoshi arrived and looked in. "Come on in." he'd say while waving for the man to enter, hopefully this was going to be a good meeting.

When he had actually heard the words of Kurisu he slowly stepped into the office via the hole and nodded," Thank you for seeing me on such short notice. I haven't really had a chance to formally introduce myself since your coronation into the seat of Hokage. The last time I had actually been in this office was when Jason was still...," with a pause in his sentence the male shook his head and knew that he needed to switch subjects. Stepping forward he took a seat and sat his hands into his lap and slowly began to speak," The word around the village among the higher ranking ninja is that you are looking for the whereabouts of Stein, the former missing ninja. While I have been keeping to myself...I have to be directly honest. I have had the body of said person for some time, but I did not know the contents until recently," taking a pause he would allow this to sink in before continuing.

" The male had restored my eyes or rather given me new ones after a spar gone wrong, but this isn't the reason i am here," touching the arm guards that he had been wearing, two jars along with a scroll appeared and were promptly set on the desk of Kurisu. Sliding them forward he would see that they were indeed sharingan due to being stuck in their (insert tomoe number of kids here) form, but Hideyoshi had not done much with them," I believe these are what you are looking for and the body of the male is inside the scroll. To clarify what I was speaking of, the male had given me another pair of...eyes much like these after my original ones were damaged in a fight, but where he had gotten those from I could not say. I believe he had some comrade within the area, but if you could read his mind you could find the necessary answers you seek...sir," with that he stopped talking to see what the Hokage would say and if there were any ramifications for what he did.

This was unexpected, he thought there'd be a lot more searching and trouble finding the stolen eyes and person who did it, but here were the eyes of the Uchiha kids along with the dead body of the man responsible for it. He was curious as to what all had happened since the man's brief explanation didn't exactly say everything.

"So how exactly did he end up dead? I'm guessing you realized he was a missing-nin? I am glad that you took care of the situation and brought the eyes back as I'm sure the Uchiha Clan will be happy about this. I just want to know the full story before I take this information to the Elder Council." he asked. Of course the man wasn't in trouble, Kurisu just needed a full story to provide to prevent getting asked as many questions.

Taking in a deep breath, Hideyoshi slowly calmed himself and began to recall the full events that had transpired," Yes I had knew he had been a missing ninja. When I was a Jounin under Jason Senju's rule I had fought the man once and narrowly escaped with my life and yet I found it odd he wanted to be taken in to see the Hokage. Knowing full well he could have killed me, I went to seek Jason's council on the matter and after hearing the two speak of another missing ninja that had wanted the eyes of the Uchiha for something...I do not honest know, he put Stein under watch. While I could not arguably go against the wording of the Hokage, I left to go back to my home which is in the forest and stayed there for some time," taking a small breath he slowly re positioned himself and continued his story," While in the forest I underwent heavy training in order to quell my own personal demons, one of which took over my body and almost killed me. At the epilogue of that battle, Stein had found me bloodied and beaten in the forest and tended to my wounds. While i still knew he had been a Missing-Ninja, I pondered on my current course of action after he had healed my body."

"Before I could make my true decision I saw a moment of weakness in the target, he had started to stumble oddly as if something was happening to him so I took the initiative and drove a spear through him. It took me a while to figure out what all he had on him. I am sure he had more than just the Uchiha eyes on him as he mentioned something about a Juugo and I am also sure he had companions that helped him get the latter. If I had just killed him when I had the chance before, maybe this would have been settled soon. So I apologize for my lack in judgement," with his full report given he relaxed in his seat, watching the Hokage's movements for any signs of discomfort.

Kurisu listened closely as Hideyoshi gave the full detailed report of what happened that led to this conversation. It was more than enough, although it did pose a question of who Stein was possibly working with before his death. Given Hideyoshi's earlier suggestion of trying to get someone to extract the information from Stein via mind reading he figured that the man didn't know who the other people involved might be.

"Very good, don't apologize as you've helped a great deal. I think the Uchiha clan might be very happy to hear about this, so after I speak with the council you might be in line for a reward. I'll send for you after I'm done." with that he'd gather up some paperwork to get ready to convene with the Elder Council.

[Exit]

"Thank you sir and I look forward to hearing you and the council's decision," with that the male stood up and gave a small bow before leaving the office and heading home. With another burden relieved from his chest, he now contemplated on what would happen next though hoping that everything worked out for the best, he simply went home and went to sleep.
