Recipe for Disaster (Private, Keita) Empty Recipe for Disaster (Private, Keita)

Wed Aug 10, 2016 5:59 am
Once more Kenshin had found himself drawn to the Gazebo of Hoshigakure, he did not have even the slightest of clues as to why he found himself coming to this place as frequently as he did but he had long since decided not to question it, as for some strange reason meditating here always left him feeling completely at peace with himself. For some reason it almost felt like the day had passed him by a lot faster than it usually did, something that left Kenshin a little puzzled because he had done nothing different today that he had not done on another, in fact, he had been training for almost the whole day, and if one were to actually look at Kenshin himself they would be able to see the signs of someone training to overcome their limits. Every inch of his exposed skin almost seemed to glisten in the afternoon sun due to the rather heavy sheen of sweat that coated his body, his silver haired looked more like a very dark grey and was matted to his back due to the amount of sweat that had been absorbed by his locks, his robes and top hat were nowhere to be seen but the sleeveless vest he was wearing was damp to the touch due to the amount of sweat it had absorbed. But the thing that gave away the intensity of his training the most were actually his hands, because while they are usually the same colour as the rest of his extremely pale skin that was not the case right now, right at this moment they were actually a mix of purple, brown and red. The purple and brown came from the heavy bruising that covered a large portion of his hand, the main concentration of the bruising was the area around his ‘knuckles’, while the red was from the now dried and flaking blood that had obviously come from the numerous tears in the flesh of his hand, once again mainly focussed around his ‘knuckles’

He hadn’t bothered to heal himself yet as he knew that despite the rather bad look of his hands he was able to tell that there was nothing truly wrong with them, he possessed no bones to break after all, perhaps if he had bones he would have fractured, broken or even completely crushed some of them with the extreme training he had done today, but thankfully his threads were a lot more durable than any bone was. The pain coming from his hands was nothing compared to what he had been through in the past so it didn’t really bother him, if anything the dull throbs coming from his hand were just a minor annoyance, and while he could heal it and end that annoyance he didn’t really want to just yet, in fact the pain actually felt quite...good, in a way. Now Kenshin was most definitely not a masochist and he took no pleasure in feeling any type of pain, but the pain he was feeling right now actually made him feel a great amount of pride, and the reason for this was quite simple really, the pain he was feeling right now had come from the intensity of the training he had put himself through today, it had come from pushing beyond the limits of his body and ignoring its protests in order to gain even more strength. Now most people would consider ignoring the pain that your body was going through to be extremely reckless and dangerous, and Kenshin himself was actually one of those people, but he was confident enough in his own skills in the art of medical ninjutsu to do it anyway, knowing that he could heal any damage that he sustained while doing trying to push his body past its limits.

As Kenshin looked out into the distance f Haven country from his position atop the Gazebo he would release a small and content sigh, and with a small smile on his face he would bring his left hand behind his head as he began to lean further and further back, eventually laying on the top of the Gazebo while using his left hand as a makeshift cushion, sure the pain on his hand intensified a little but he continued to ignore it. As he stared into the afternoon sky Kenshin would begin to lightly sway his legs back and forth as they dangled over the side of the Gazebo’s roof, it would be a strange sight to see for anyone who knew Kenshin as he rarely ever took the time to simply rest and relax, but even he needed time to unwind every now and then.

Recipe for Disaster (Private, Keita) Empty Re: Recipe for Disaster (Private, Keita)

Keita was exploring the village vicinity during the afternoon with an unmoved expression along his face. He walked the streets of Hoshigakure with his hands within his pockets, wearing his usual long sleeve shirt and black pants/shoes. Their was a slight breeze during that warm afternoon, the birds could easily be seen soaring through the skies thanks to the cloudless background. The jolly, peaceful sunny day completely contrasted the being known as Keita, as he received looks of worry and fear alongside the streets. His overwhelming red eyes had a gaze that could shake the mightiest of beast, whilst his white hair waved through the air to pamper the thought of the orphan being something other then human.

His appearance wasn't the only thing which gave off a bad feeling to third parties. It was also the way he carried himself, hunched over with his hands fully delved into his pockets, the irregular walking patterns of a soulless canvas, and especially the eyes which could show his inner soul. It was as if he was truthfully hiding nothing at all, once being able to look through these many locks and turns you would find his eyes expressing little to no emotion. Well, nothing other then pessimistic beliefs and a lack of faith in humanity itself, willing to throw it aside at any moment. This being alone was the end result of a once loving and heart-filled boy, forcefully stripped away from everything he once loved. Now left behind is Keita Akiyama, a newly found Genin in the village of Hoshigakure, with a newly found brother deceased no more then a week ago.

Keita has had a long history of witnessing and mourning death for such a young age. However, this was a much different scenario. Though the previous unfortunate times in which he's come upon death have been clan members, outsiders, and even his mother. The one most important thing was taken from him on that day, being his caring brother Akatsu. He had never believed the universe could be so cruel as to take away more from him after he's suffered so, and to take such a close figure in his life. Without the brother who was the center of his world, Keita feels grief and lost, though these feeling being dulled due to being acquainted with them for so many years already. He's attempted to think little of his past, of Akatsu every since the day he heard of the news, and almost act as if nothing has happened at all. However, the effects of such a close bond being lost is visible on him, through the way he carries himself and acts accordingly.

Though now, he was taking a stroll throughout the village, to see what it had to offer. He's been unable to feel comfortable at his home ever since his brother never returned, much more preferring the outdoors to get away from such a reminding area. It's also due to the fact Keita kept to himself once arriving to Hoshigakure, mildly partaking in exploring the land and knowing where everything is. Now being a Genin, it would be useful to know every inch of the village. Therefore he walked aimlessly, learning to ignore the looks from others after a week of becoming this way, aware of the darkness which began to cling to his heart and openly welcoming it. He was not one for justice or happiness any longer, and was more sinister and relentless. Of course it wouldn't be very welcoming to others, which Keita was more then glad to have happen.

He heard earlier by an old man of a Gazebo in the village, which proved to have a fantastic overview of the village, and a peaceful and harmonious feeling to it. Intrigued by such a place, and more then willing to escape into a more peaceful state of mind, he would follow the way he was informed to go. The climb up to the Gazebo was easy enough, though tedious due to how high up you truly had to be in order to obtain a good view. Though the walk up was indeed worth it, as he was greeted by a new perspective of the village, high into the sky. The rumors were in fact true, scarcely sensing any form of human activity in the area, he would look over the cliff at the view before turning behind him. Keita would see a small plain field behind himself and the Gazebo, most likely for physical activities and the likes. It was decorated with various flowers which danced in harmony with the trees behind them, waves upon waves of endless seeming trees.

For once in awhile, Keita felt as if he could drift away from reality, and actually experience a sense of closure and content. The setting was one able to calm just about any spirit, even his distorted one at the time. The village was truthfully a beautiful one, just from this sight alone. Of course Keita was especially thankful that no other people other then a few were here, in order to truthfully sink into the background and enjoy the pleasant day. He backed away from the cliff side, and began to walk towards the Gazebo in order to take a seat inside, and witness the view from the Gazebo and all of it's benefits. No one was within the Gazebo at the time, making it even more special as he planted his feet behind a chair, and began to feel his stressed and fatigued legs fall back carefree into the rocking bench. He would stop the bench from moving too much by stationing his feet once finally sitting down, while simultaneously reaching both his arms behind him and stretching out to rest on the back support.

Letting out a deep and much needed sigh, Keita would slowly rock back and forth staring up at the ceiling of the Gazebo, rather then the view in front of him wishing to never escape this trance of relaxation. It hit like a truck, and Keita wasn't too in a rush to do anything hasty, therefore he took some minutes to just sit back and relax. He began to bring his head down towards the sight in front of him, before becoming startled witnessing dangling feet hanging over the Gazebo. Seeming to move effortlessly and with no rush to the swing through each motion, the first thought Keita had in mind was that the victim above him was in fact dead. It would be difficult to blame him for such a thought process, his past is riddled with death after all. Taking the initiative to investigate, he got up from his bench and proceeded to grab onto the roof's ledge, and push himself up to see the dead body.

Pushing himself up in seconds to be on top of the roof, he sighed with discomfort due to believing another person got themselves killed once again. No matter though, not like their isn't a billion more people in the world. He looked over at the body as the wind passed over with a stronger breeze then the previous ones, making his hair fall before his eyes. Being on the right of the body, the first visible thing he saw was the damaged hand of the male before him. Right off the bat the boy wasn't really passing the test on being alive or not, coming over as over-killed. The position he was in however looked to be as if he was sleeping rather then dead, with the left hand acting as a cushion for his head. However, he was extremely pale...Their was no real way for him to make a verdict. For sure Keita had no plan to touch the potential dead body, he might get some of the body's dead stench on him, being nothing more then a pain in the ass.

Attacking the body wouldn't be good either, since if he was actually alive, well that wouldn't be good in general though he chose to relax with such bruised hands. Pondering for a few seconds, Keita decided to just attack the bull head on and ignore the BS.

"Yo."

Keita had his legs crossed as he was examining the body from afar, while simultaneously having his right arm acting as a support to his chin as he rested it there, and his left hand planted on his leg in order for his elbow to stick out. He was not very interested in the idea of finding a dead body, or a live body. However in the events that this thing was dead, it wouldn't be a very good idea to leave it there, and potentially have others assume he was the causing. He would wait some seconds to see if this guy would wake up, play dead, or actually be dead. This was an extreme pain for Keita to deal with, finally finding some form of escape from the world after so many events in one recently, just for him to be brought back into the world thanks to a dead body. Just marvelous.

Recipe for Disaster (Private, Keita) Empty Re: Recipe for Disaster (Private, Keita)

Mon Aug 15, 2016 3:34 pm
A small smirk would appear on the scarred face of Kenshin as he felt a chakra signature approaching the Gazebo, it was not a chakra signature that he recognised so it was obviously not somebody that Kenshin had met or interacted with in the past, so he began to probe the chakra signature with his sensory in order to learn more about the chakra he was feeling. The chakra signature of the approaching person was not particularly large, in fact it was quite small when compared to some of the people that he had met during his time within Hoshigakure. But the size of the approaching persons reserves in no way meant that this person was weak, no, all it meant was that their chakra reserves were not all that large, for all he knew the approaching person could be a master of Taijutsu and as such never had a need to develop large reserves of chakra. As the chakra signature continued to close in on his location the silver haired teen would simply bring his right hand up to his face and use it to push some of his long silver locks over his eyes, covering them from view in case this approaching person felt the need to join him on the roof of the Gazebo.

The reason for this act was simple, people were often unnerved by the sight of Kenshin’s eyes, granted they were also unnerved by his extremely pale skin and the threads that were constantly writhing beneath his skin but still the fact remained that people got unnerved by his eyes as well. Honestly he did not truly care whether or not this person was unnerved by his looks or not, and the reason for this lack of care was simple, if the approaching person did turn out to be unnerved by his looks then they were simply one of the extremely large number of people whom he had met in the past that judged him solely on his looks. On the other hand though, if they did not judge him based on his looks then that simply meant that they were not as foolish as the others that Kenshin has come across in the past, something that did not impress the Earth Grudge Fear user by any means. As the unknown person continued to approach the Gazebo Kenshin would give an annoyed sigh, all he had wanted to do was relax after a day filled with nothing but extremely intense training but it seemed as if a higher power had other plans for him.

As he felt the unknown person's chakra signature finally arrive at the Gazebo he would close his eyes behind his hair, simply allowing himself to lay back and bask in the heat of the afternoon sun, all the while keeping his chakra sensory trained completely on the person beneath him. As the minutes slowly passed by a content smile would once again makes it’s way onto Kenshin’s face, it seemed as if both he and the person beneath him shared the same goal in coming here, to get away from everything and simply relax. But alas, that was not to last, after a few more minutes the smile would fade from the scarred face of Kenshin and he would release a tiny sigh, he could feel the person beneath him stand up and grab the ledge of the roof, before pulling themselves up not too far from Kenshin’s position, no doubt they had seen his legs and come to investigate who was on the roof. Due to both his closed eyes and the fact that his silver locks covered said closed eyes he was unable to see anything about the person in front of him, not even their gender, but he had no doubt that the person would eventually say something to him, so the silver haired teen would simply continue to lay there in his state of relaxation.

“Yo” he would hear a voice say, revealing to Kenshin that the owner of both the voice and the chakra signature was a male, and from the sound of the voice he was not too old either, in fact he sounded as if he was around the age as Kenshin himself. The silver haired teen would simply lay there without making a move for a few seconds, waiting to see if this unknown teen had anything else to say to him, but when no more words escaped his mouth Kenshin would assume that the unknown teen was awaiting a response from him. The scar faced teen briefly considered staying silent and seeing if that would make this guy leave, but he doubted it, plus, that would actually be extremely rude, and if there was one thing that Kenshin hated above all else it was rudeness. Kenshin would wait a few more seconds before opening his mouth “Yo” he would say simply, he would not say anything else nor would he move in anyway from his position, he figured if this guy wished to initiate a conversation then he would do so.

Recipe for Disaster (Private, Keita) Empty Re: Recipe for Disaster (Private, Keita)

After giving his rather lazy greeting the silver haired teen that was sprawled out atop the Gazebo waited for words to begin flowing from the mouth of the unknown male that was sitting to the right of him, but as time continued to pass by all that met Kenshin’s ears was the sweet sound of silence. Now Kenshin was by no means complaining that no word had come from the unknown male's mouth, he hadn’t really been in the mood to hold a conversation after the intense training that he had been putting himself through today, but despite that he was still feeling quite confused by the silence, even more so due to the fact that this person had been the one who had approached him. After what felt like an eternity of rather uncomfortable silence the silver haired teen would lazily blow some of his silver locks out of his field of vision, allowing him to gaze over at the unnamed teen who was sitting next to him.

The first things that Kenshin took note of were the boys white hair and blood red irises, a rather eye-catching combination, especially when combined with his extremely pale skin tone. He appeared to be rather tall despite the fact that he was sitting down, and as Kenshin examined further he noticed that he was extremely skinny, possessing little to no fat or muscle. The unnamed teen was sitting in a cross legged position and had his right arm propped up against his knee and was resting his chin in the palm of his hand, while his left arm was simply planted on the leg. After waiting for another minute or so Kenshin let out a small sigh and slowly pushed himself up, it was obvious to him that the other teen was not paying attention right now, in fact he appeared to simply be staring at the spot in which Kenshin had previously been laying.

Without another word Kenshin would slowly push himself off the roof of the Gazebo and onto his feet, and without so much as a glance back to the other teen Kenshin would leap off the roof and begin walking down the path towards his rented room, he had to finish planning his next mission after-all
