The Waterways [Mission] - Miyamoto

I can't reach.. Ayato realized, his every step getting slower until he found his feet glued to the ground. He was at least four meters away from the opponent. He had to cancel his earlier strikes and use his Byakugan to look down on the ground. "Shit." Ayato noticed a very peculiar chakra flowing through the dirty mud of the sewers. The Genjutsu got me distracted." Ayato thought to himself as shifted from 360-degree vision of Byakugan to the long range to figure out how far the sticky pool below them spread. "Miyamoto, the ground! The second enemy, twenty meters away from our current location!" Ayato yelled to his teammate, notifying him of the immediate danger.  Ayato's eyes were now locked on the  adversary who was  Reiji Hyuuga then the missing-nin girl, then Reiji Hyuuga again. "Go, leave this one to me!"  Under other circumstances, it would safer to remain close to another and use their own numerical advantage to take out one enemy at a time. But judging from opponents earlier tactic, Ayato and Miyamoto remaining in the same place would only work in their best interests.  So that was the duo's best course of action, spread around and focus on taking the enemy's advantage away from him. 

"Hahahahahah." The booming laughter of Reiji echoed through the dark tunnels. "They trapped you in a jutsu and you used it against them to figure out their location. Excellent strategy, I almost see a Hyuuga in there, bastard. " The dead man spread his hands open as his laughter began to quiet down "Almost. You are still stuck and your buddy will be gone. You are no better than you were a minute ago." Reiji kept talking trash his white eyes looking at Ayato with malice. Ayato did not pay any heed to his uncle's words, instead, he began to unwrap the bandages around his right forearm. "You know..." The fact that the man was an illusion gave him confidence. "I dreamed of the day that I would make the Hyuuga of Konoha choke on their words. " He never dreamed it would come so soon. And his dead uncle none the less. Ayato took up his battle stance, and extended his left arm forward."This is the time." Ayato announced, his left palm pointing towards the opponent while the palm of his right remained closed to his waist. When he previously used that technique, the recoil had sent him flying backward crashing on the ground. However, this time it would be different. His feet were pinned thanks to the opponent's syrup field. "I'm Ayato Hyuuga!" With a sharp exhale his right arm took flight, unleashing a powerful burst of chakra. Dust from the ground kicked up, forming walls around the projectile as it traveled towards the opponent.

Miyamoto was moving, then he was not.  It was easy to calculate however, it seems that he and Ayato had fallen victim to a trap set up by their intended targets.  There was one thing Miyamoto was certain of, he needed to move, so he thought quick and moved with all of his strength to push up and out of the thick sludge, jumping up and out towards where Ayato mentioned their second target should be.  There was no hesitation in either of them now, and Ayato knew that in order to combat this threat, they had to split up.  Miyamoto made the hand sign of the ram before body flickering at a speed of 89, his target was 20 meters out and Miyamoto would make sure he stopped there, at the point of origin.  

Once he had landed, his movements would be swift as he continued with his movement, aiming to punch whatever was in front of him.  His strength during this attack would be at 50 strength, and the speed would still be a swift 50 as he came off of the Body flicker technique.

If the attack works:
Miyamoto hopefully knocks his opponent out, forcing whoever it was to end their technique.  IF this was true, Miyamoto would yell for the other target.

"STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND RELINQUISH ANY WEAPONS YOU HAVE.  IF YOU DO NOT I WILL KILL YOUR PARTNER."  Miyamoto's voice would be loud and firm.  In his head he knew that he may have to something unthinkable if the target did not do as he commanded.

His rock fist would be clasped around the throat of his knocked out target.  If the other target did not comply, or try and use a technique to stop him, he would crush the targets neck and windpipe instantly with a speed and strength of 50.

If the attack misses:
Miyamoto would recalculate, his anger beginning to boil over, thinking for offensive purposes he would perform the hand seals as fast as he could and then blow out a fire stream out and up so he could gain a momentary advantage of sight and temporary blindness of his enemies.  Then attack using the same attack as above.

To the echoing of his name through the tunnels he could swear he saw his uncle throw a faint chuckle before the air was kicked from his lungs in the form of loud gasp. The dust surrounded chakra projectile landed heavily on the torso, the force so powerful that sent the opposing figure hurling on the air. It landed several feet away with a loud thud. Ayato almost praised the result of his trump card Jutsu, he had finally managed to meet his own expectations. He began moving closer to where his uncle had landed. Ayato wanted to check for himself if that fucker Reiji Hyuuga kept that smug expression on his face even now.  But as he got closer Reiji’s Hyuuga image began to be spirited away, in a way similar to how darkness dispersed when hit with beams of morning light. In place of his uncle’s shadow, there was the body of someone else. She just laid there, legs and arms bent in a grotesque fashion as if she were a ragdoll made of hay. The missing-nin we were sent to hunt.  The Byakugan was said to be able to perceive everything but only now, free of the genjutsu Ayato could see her for what she truly was; a girl. No older than he  For a moment he was too scared he had killed her. But to his solace, the girl appeared be breathing despite her broken limbs from smashing into the ground.  "Miyamoto I'm done here!" Ayato yelled for his companion to hear, his voice cracking from the adrenaline. The fact that he could move earlier meant that Miyamoto did his part as well. They had succeeded in their mission against all odds, all that was left was to hurry back to the city and put the missing-nin into question."If they cooperate, that way they can at least keep themselves alive."

Miyamoto held fast, his rock fist had begun to crumble away beneath him.  The girl who was his target was incapacitated, he could end it...He was beginning to squeeze when Ayato called out.  It brought him back to the reality in which he and Ayato came out of this alive without having to do serious damage to their targets or the infrastructure of their village.  Miyamoto let his rock fist jutsu cancel as he hoisted his unconsious target over his shoulders and carried her to Ayato's location.  


"Then this is done...let's get back out into the rain, the stench down here is...nausiating.  Then we collect our bounty and head home for the night...I have a lot to think about after this."

Miyamoto head straight for the door.  Outside the door was another team of shinobi...these looked to be medical-nin and police forces.  Miyamoto handed his target over and watched as Ayato did the same, the rain began to wash the grime and muck from their clothes, but the stench remained.  Miyamoto sighed and sat down on the ground, his eyes began to leak, the tears of a broken boy who nearly had to do something awful.  This was not what he wanted to do with his life, but it was the life he chose...He needed to learn to control these emotions.  He looked up to Ayato handing him his share of the bounty, saying that the shinobi from the office earlier was there to oversee transportation of the prisoners.  Miyamoto reached up and took his share, looking up to Ayato with his face wet with rain and tears.  

"Thank you for all your help Ayato, call on me if there is ever a need for me."  Miyamoto said while faking his usual sly smile that feigned for his worry and emotional outcome.
