Niran's Training Begins
Fri Jan 27, 2017 1:23 am
Niran stood in the middle of his modest one bedroom apartment and stared at his reflection in the mirror. His broad shoulders, heaving up and down as deep breaths filled up his lungs with life’s oxygen. His eyes glanced around his room, burnt orange colored walls, a large bed, neatly made after it’s previous use. An brown oak dresser standing against the wall, and an Armoire for his ninja equipment on the opposite side. Then there was the mirror he was standing in front of, preparing to practice one of the three techniques that would allow him to begin his path to power. The Transformation technique would allow him to take the appearance of any person or thing he so chose so long as he had the chakra and mind to use it. It was a simple technique, and most could see through the deceptively simple illusion without any effort. It was a part of his curriculum however, so he would have to get it done. He nodded his head in preparation and began to circle through the people he had seen today in his mind. One stood out in particular, a small man, easily able to ride on his shoulders. He had a bald head and six small orange dots. He wore an orange gi with a symbol on the back. He had looked utterly pathetic, even to his as of untrained eyes. He was however the best one used for the illusion as if he could transform into something so much smaller than him, then he should be able to transform into anyone he wanted to with little effort. He brought his hands up into the ram hand seal and began to channel his chakra throughout his body, feeling the powerful force swirling within him as he brought it to bear toward his intended goal. He activated the technique, forming each hand seal slowly, memorizing the feel and place in the sequence. As he finished the final hand sign he forced his chakra to react and a poof of smoke sounded throughout the room. He stood there, waiting patiently with his hand on one hip as the smoke cleared to show the result of his first attempt at the Transformation technique. When the smoke finally cleared itself away he smirked at his appearance in the mirror. He looked exactly like the short, bald one he’d seen earlier, utterly pathetic. Every detail was exact, from the six orange dots on his forehead to the shine on his waxed forehead. He shuddered to think what like must be like for this poor idiot. He probably got beat up a lot, but that’s neither here nor there. The point is that he managed to perform technique to a satisfactory degree. Now he just needed to make sure he had it. He dispelled the illusory technique, giving the white smoke the few moments it needed to dissipate into the air after he dropped the illusion to reveal his large form in the mirror. He gave himself a confident nod before performing the hand seals and transforming into the pathetic little midget thing again. He nodded his head once or twice more for confirmation, checking every part of the illusion and smiled when he found it to be perfect.
He’d dispel the illusion and moved toward the dresser where he would find a scroll laying across the top. He’d look at the scroll and look at the next technique he would need to learn. The Clone technique involved creating illusory copies of himself to confound and confuse his opponents. They did not have any solid form, it was more like a projection really, and if an opponent looked close enough they would easily be able to tell it was a clone based on the fact that they’d have no weight when they walked. He nodded his head at the diagrams given to show how to flow his chakra for this technique and so he walked over to the center of the room and began to focus on his chakra, bringing it out slowly until he felt it circulating throughout his body. He focused on creating copies of himself standing next to him and he once again, slowly, and methodically went through the hand seals, finishing on the last one and pressing the technique outward. He heard a hazy sound and looked around to see three clones standing around him, staring at him as if he was their lesser. “Just like the original..” He would say to himself before dismissing the clones and shaking his head with a small smirk. He would nod his head at the progress but decide to practice the beginning technique a couple of more times first the basics were important after all. He would slowly bring his arms up to perform the hand seals and would move through them slowly, taking his time to ingrain each and every sign into his very core before calling upon his chakra. He channeled the energy throughout his body and expanded it outward before molding it to his whims. He finished the final seal and activated the the technique once more. Again, three clones appeared around him and nodded at him in satisfaction. He nodded back and dismissed them, causing the illusion to vanish so he would now appear alone in his room. He would walk over to the dresser and roll the scroll he was using up and tied it up tightly before putting it away neatly inside of his Armoire. He would then turn toward the mirror and a slightly manic gleam would appear in his eyes as his other personality showed through for a moment. The first steps toward his power gain have begun, now it was a matter of time and effort. As soon as it appeared the gleam would disappear, his normal, regal personality taking hold. He would then nod his head in satisfaction before turning and walking out of the apartment deciding it was time to head out to get food.

Niran was kneeling in his room, meditating with the tiger seal in his hands. It was night in Kumogakure which caused it to be rather cold as they were up in the mountains. His window was open and the stars decorated the sky as if it was brilliantly lit with a thousands burning embers in the sky. The heat was off in his apartment, causing the place to easily reach freezing. He didn’t shiver however, he was too proud to show weakness no matter where he was. His home feeling like the inside of a freezer had a purpose however, it was time to train another technique. This one would be a low level fire technique. The jutsu was called Inner Flame and it would allow him to warm up his internal body temperature to manageable levels to stave off hypothermia. Which in these mountains could always be a very real threat in a dangerous situation. So we find our regal, half insane trainee meditating in a freezing room. He wanted to make sure he’d feel the technique take effect, so he needed to lower the temperature of hs humble little abode. Channeling his chakra, which he learned was an extremely strong fire chakra, he would regulate it throughout his body. He’d only been meditating for a few minutes, and he hadn’t felt any different. Granted he knew it wouldn’t be that simple, even if it was an E rank technique. He knew he was supposed to feel a strong warmth in his body that would allow him to shrug off the freezing cold air that was circulating around him and so he channeled his chakra, held the tiger hand seal, and waited. Eventually he felt a small warmth spread throughout his chest. He knew he had started to get the technique down, but needed to get that warmth to be stronger and across is entire body. He focused his chakra on spreading that feeling out and slowly, ever so slowly the comforting warmth began to move it’s way through his shoulders, arms, stomach, legs, feet, neck, and head. His entire body had a nice comforting warmth spread throughout it. He focused harder on the technique, knowing that it wasn’t warm enough to do the job it was supposed to do. So he began to gently knead the chakra throughout his body, coaxing the fire chakra to heat up gradually. He slowly felt the heat build up within his body, starting again from his chest and slowly spreading the heat through the rest of his body bit by bit. It still wasn’t hot enough however, so he focused harder on his fire chakra, focused on his chakra being a raging flame, begging for release. He would then visually take a portion of the that searing inferno and spread it throughout his body letting it reach every part of him. He felt the effect immediately as suddenly his body warmed up to manageable levels and he nodded his head in satisfaction in learning his first fire technique before turning on the heat in his home and closing the darn window and getting some shut eye, he had more to learn tomorrow.
The next morning Niran would awaken and prepare himself for the day. After taking a shower and a light breakfast he would find himself walking toward a small training field not too far from his apartment. He would step into the field and take a deep breath, taking in every bit of the fresh mountain air. The sun was out and a light chill was in the air but he was fine due to his heavy clothing. He proceed to pull out a scroll and opening it carefully before reading what he had written inside during a visit to the local shinobi library. Fire Stream was a simple fire technique that would assist him in learning a stronger technique later on. It would allow him to get some practice in how to mold chakra for fire techniques and how to safely expel them from the mouth. It only required a half tiger seal and was little more than a small gout of flame, but it would be useful nonetheless. He raised his hand and formed it into the half tiger seal. Which involved having his middle, ring, and pinky finger curled in, and his index finger extended. Niran would then proceed to begin gathering his chakra into his chest and swirling it, kneading it, and coaxing it into fire chakra. He would manipulate it into forming into a raging inferno, feeling the heat build up within his chest as it should. He would then proceed to take in a deep breath, filling his lungs with the much needed oxygen necessary to fuel the weak fire attack. Afterwards he would release the chakra and breath slowly, in a stream. A small gout of flame shot out of his mouth and stopped at the two meter mark. He noted this and added more chakra to the technique as well as increasing the force of his breath. The stream would instantly increase in size to three meters in length and with. The flame fanning out like a wave afterward before slowly dissipating and dying down. He let it end slowly, with the breath and chakra he had gathered slowly running out. He would take a moment or two, catch his breath and nod his head before choosing to practice it one last time. Before calling it a day. He then carefully takes in a deep breath, gathering the chakra and kneading it into the burning hot fire chakra he had make it into before. He would then breathe out in the same way he had before while adding the chakra and just like before the small, three meter wide and long breath of fire would fire from his mouth. The stream would continue for a few moments before flickering out and dying slowly, just as before. He would then nod his head at the accomplishment and proceed to leave the training field to find something to get into for the day.
